I hired Sam Wayne to litigate a case involving the FCRA, and federal student loan system. It was complicated, the trial Court was uninterested and unfair, often refusing to see how the dots connected, and without Sam's close attention to detail: would have been disposed of. At the end of the ordeal, after the Court dealt me one last bit of unfairness by abridging my constitutional right to a jury trial and verdict, Sam negotiated a settlement that maximized my return and didn't leave me with a huge tax burden. Sam picked up the pieces, fixed the mess from the original attorney and got us a quick settlement in which I didn't pay a cent from my pockets! In fact, I walked away with a little cash!

I called John after I suffered injuries in a bike accident. His firm has a strong reputation for fighting for justice, and that reputation is well deserved! He was personable and kind to me and my husband, but he must be quite a fighter when dealing with the insurance companies because my case was resolved quickly and without going to trial. I'm really happy with the result and I strongly recommend John and his firm.

Attorney Edari was WONDERFUL with not only my son who was in trouble, but me as a mom when I had questions. We spoke to another attorney about my sons case and all he seemed to care about was a paycheck and not helping my son. My son was facing time not only in jail but in prison, Attorney Edari worked long and hard to do what she could to lessen that time. While meeting with her and my son I could tell no one is a case number to her, they are human. She does not only care about helping with court, she stands up for that person and makes sure she gets them into a position they need. She discussed with my son getting into school, counseling, etc. She would check in with both of us to make sure things were going ok. She believed in my son changing as much as I do. My son ended up serving a month in jail and is now out trying to straighten his life up. He is with his young son who needs him. Which Attorney Edari made possible.

I met Vata, during the most horrific time in my life, I was facing felony child abuse charges. Vata was the third attorney that I had spoken with inregards to my case. The first two attorneys seemed as though they were straight to business and that's it. That left me feeling very unsure of hiring either one of them to represent me. Finally, a family member recommended Vata. I was a little reluctant at this point because this was going to be the third lawyer that I had spoken to about the chain of events that occurred. Jason Knutson worked on my unpaid overtime case for over 4 years, starting as a class-action suit and then in individual arbitration. Jason was an incredible advocate during my hearing, and he both stuck with me and my case until the end, even though my own claim, after our class-action was tossed out, wasn't worth a ton of money. Jason Knutson's help during what is clearly the worst time in our lives was immeasurable. His assistant Jenny was very helpful when medical bills poured in keeping them straight and helping us remove duplicate charges so we could focus on our sons rehab. I was exceedingly worried about retaining a lawyer for my DUI case as I heard it was fruitless by many people who have been in my shoes previously.
After reading a lot of reviews, and making many phone calls to other attorneys it was evident after completing the consultation that Mr. Welch was going to be my "gamble". He was exceedingly knowledgeable, realistic, reasonable, also kind and understanding.

My wife and I came to visit Wisconsin last year for some R and R and unfortunately found ourselves in need of an attorney. What we thought to be a simple misunderstanding quickly escalated into more and we found ourselves in a desperate situation doing our best to research available attorneys with experience and a good reputation in the area. Neither my wife or I have a record or have ever been in trouble so to speak, so we found it a bit overwhelming in differentiating which attorney would be the right fit for us so to speak. We came across a lot of attorneys but ultimately decided to go with Adam Welch. Upon our research we found Adam to be listed as Wisconsin elite when it came to law and trial cases. After retaining Adam's services, it was beyond apparent why. Not only did he live up to everything we read online and then some...He had a very polite and kind demeanor and it was obvious he cared. Let me say that again. I whole hearted believe that not only did he care, but he had our best interests in mind. Now a days, that's a hard found quality in any line of work. It did not go unnoticed. After almost a year of dealing with a less than desirable District attorney, Adam stuck to his guns and we ended up going to trial. Again, neither my wife and I have ever been through anything like this and it was beyond a little nerve racking to say the least. Adam was cool, calm and collect and reassuring the entire time. Adam was incredible throughout my entire OWI case. Tim knows better than anyone else the tactics the police and prosecution uses, so he knows and understands how things roll if your ever facing a legal tsunami. Before I made any statements to the police, I called Tim and knew right away that he was the lawyer for me compared to other law offices I called. Before ever giving him a dime, Tim took an hour out of his day to help me decipher my case and lay out my options. He is very knowledgeable and most importantly cares. He knows the OWI laws in Wisconsin are primarily a fee tax on the public, the field sobriety tests are designed for even sober drivers to fail, and the state statute limiting negotiated settlement before trial a ridiculous encumbrance. I would trust Tim to handle any OWI case given to him and believe he will get the best possible result for his clients.

I was fortunate that Andrea Winder represented me.
They charged me with 2 offenses, one of which is serious enough to tarnish my reputation and threaten my employment. Thankfully, within 24 hours of describing the case to Andrea, she had negotiated a reduced charge, the more serious charge dropped.
I had hoped this would be the outcome but was reluctant to believe that this best outcome could be realized. Thankfully, I was wrong. Andrea had the charge reduced to a minor ticket, and even more remarkable accomplished this goal within record time.

Attorney Nicholas Gansner acted very quickly in response to allegations about 2nd degree sexual assault from 3 and a half years prior to the report. He took his time to gather all of the facts and spoke with the investigating detective on my behalf. Nick kept me updated and informed about the strategies he was taking while working with the detective. I left all of the work to him and he took care of everything. Ultimately, the case never made it past the initial investigation and was never forwarded to the district’s attorney’s office. He was nearly always available by call, text, or email—even responding late at night sometimes. If he was not immediately available, he would reply as soon as he could. I would highly recommend hiring attorney Gansner.

Attorney Gansner worked on my very difficult and emotionally draining case for around 2 years. My confidence in him NEVER wavered! When I had things to say, he really listened and took note. He remembered and made use of pertinent information I had given him. I never felt like he left important details out that I would later need to correct myself. In addition, I noticed that he is extremely well respected by judges and commissioners as well as his peers which is very comforting to witness. In short, Elisabeth has been wonderful to work with. I recently ended a long-term marriage and -in so doing- found myself slowly being pulled towards a contested divorce trial. My ex-spouse and I found difficulties in reaching a compromise and she was in no hurry to move the divorce forward. Further, I had little knowledge of the divorce laws, the legal processes of divorce or the court system in general as this was my first exposure to a trial. I was really out of my comfort zone in such matters.
I came to Rhonda not only for her AAML certification and extensive divorce experience but, in researching her background further, I found that she had a good record for moving cases forward. Her and her team did an absolutely outstanding job. They moved my case forward -and to its completion- expediently and with a good outcome. Further, they dealt with me with patience, understanding and great communication so that I came to a comfort level as the case progressed.

In November of 2008 I retained Tamara Packard to assist me in resolving a dispute with my former employer. From the initial meeting to the signing of the negotiated agreement two months later, Attorney Packard acted dilligently, professionally, and assertively on my behalf to bring about a settlement I was more than pleased with.
My former employer is a small (100 employees) privately-held company. It was reluctant to provide the information necessary to establish a fair settlement. Attorney Packard countered their attorney's every argument against releasing information with her superior knowledge of applicable labor laws.

Mr. Oconner helped me obtain a civil judgement against a store that fraudulently got me to purchase their product that I would not have purchased if I would have known all the ingredients of the product. In late 2014 I decided, along with two partners, to start a small business developing smartphone applications for Android and Apple devices. My partners and I decided to move from brainstorm to business after we realized we could be making money on our fun side coding projects. We quickly found out that having an idea for a business is much different than actually forming a business.
We approached Mike with questions on what it takes to form an LLC in Wisconsin. Mike was generous with his time, knowledge and advice. We found out we needed much more than the simple LLC documents. Over the course of a number of meetings, Mike and his knowledgeable and qualified attorneys walked us through all of the legal considerations involved in starting a business with partners.
