Jennifer, there is nothing to tell me you're welcome for because you did nothing. You literally scammed us out of $2,000 dollars. All you did was agree to the original terms of opposing counsel (with a few emails) which is what I could have done myself and settled in less than one week since you feel time is so relevant.
You are rude, unprofessional and full of yourself. By far the worst "nose up in the air, I'm better than everyone else" attitude I've seen from anyone.
Under two months is completely irrelevant. Time has nothing to do with the issue(s) at hand. That's just noise to distract from the facts in play.
Pointing out the fact that my wife retained you is also completely irrelevant. If you'd like, I can ask her to write a review as well if that makes it more relevant.
Yes, you did point out that you are foreclosure only, but you also said that someone else can be retained to deal with the HOA issues. Any competent attorney that actually takes the time to read emails, listen to the client and do some forward thinking would realize that settling the foreclosure would have made it difficult or impossible (impossible in our case) to pursue further action against the HOA.
It is pretty easy for me to see the scam you have going here by spamming public records with your $1,500 retainer (non refundable) and $500 monthly fee, and quite frankly I wonder if it's borderline illegal/unethical from the perspective of The Florida Bar.
Anyone reading this ought to search you on the other legal sites to see that you have mostly negative reviews with most of them pointing out how rude and unprofessional you are with your clients.
I guess the joke is on us since my wife and I were busy traveling and did not have the time to vet you out.

Jennifer is an incompetent and unethical attorney. She advertised her services by targeting individuals facing foreclosure through public records. Our HOA, known for its underhanded tactics, pushed us into foreclosure, leading us to hire Jennifer.
Jennifer's primary focus was to take our money without providing adequate service. We paid her a $1,500 retainer and $500 monthly for a fixed-rate arrangement, yet she performed only a couple of hours of billable work.
Despite providing extensive details about our situation, Jennifer ignored them.
During our consultation, we expressed our desire to take action against the HOA. She claimed this would be possible after addressing the foreclosure. Later, we discovered that the HOA became judgment-proof with the foreclosure resolution, making further action impossible—something she knew from the start.
Her consistent failure to read and comprehend emails resulted in additional court filings.
When the settlement deadline approached, she sent a one-line email saying, "I guess you're going to lose your home now," despite us already wiring the money and instructing her to accept the deal. She failed to read and understand our communication.
When we demanded a refund for the majority of the payments made, she simply ignored us.
In short, Jennifer is unresponsive, uncommunicative, and solely interested in taking your money.

I hired him to assist me in a law suit over a year ago. I would call the office weekly asking for updates. I would be given the run around every single time. He was in court, or they were moving offices. When I finally got to speak to him he was annoyed and even used profanity when speaking to me. I have never met an attorney as disrespectful and unprofessional as him. I wrote him and email expressing my concerns and then he said I was impossible to work with instead of admitting his lack of communication. I would never recommend him and I hope No one ever goes through the waste of time and money I have gone through by hiring him.

I hired Ayesa and we agreed on a flat fee contested divorce to take me to trial. After approximately 6 months of representation and after taking all of my money, she withdraws. I paid her $8000 in full to take me to trial as per the retainer agreement and she withdraws as she got hammered by opposing counsel. I begged and pleaded with her not to withdraw but she didn't care because she already got paid. Why continue to represent someone when you've already got all their money? Also be aware of her partner, they back each other up no matter how wrong the other one is.

I hired Mr Rogers because his sister was recommended to me. She referred me to her brother and I hired him for a family case.
First, I only talked to Edward Rogers the first day when I paid him the retainer and the day at court. Every other phone call or text message was from his “paralegal” Ricky.
Richard “Ricky” calles or text me with very unrelated stuff. The times he called me about something close to relevant I felt he dragged on the conversation. Later when I asked for time sheet, it was apparent that I was billed for what I felt was very excessive times.
Moving forward to the court date. When sitting with the court representatives I was forced to defend my self. Both Edward and Richard were with me but neither had anything to say. In fact if I were to stay quiet and not defend my self I would be paying a lot more money on child support than I do now.
Finally, I feel that Edward is not equipped with the knowledge to handle such cases. Maybe he should just stay doing ticket cases and such. Beware with his colleague Ricky. He talks to you like a car salesman. An 80s car sales man. Almost even comical.
Save your money, you’ll be better off asking friends or even strangers for advice that have been in the same situation.

I hired Mark for a case I have in Florida currently. However he withdrew in the middle of the case because I would not agree to what HE said I should take. I am the one who hired him meaning if I don't agree with what he wants then he should try to fight a little more. He didn't try for anything I asked for and I was forced to represent myself in court. I was referred to Menachem Mayberg by some I trust completely and know that they would only put me in the best hands possible me.
I called Menachem and we had a good conversation where he explained me the process and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He is a lawyer however he conversates in a very down to earth matter that you are for certain to comprehend your case fully and feel very confident in knowing this is that Menachem is a man of great integrity and always and only has his clients best interest in mine.
If you are reading this then you know as well as I do that average or below average lawyers are a dime a dozen and that they make their living by talking and unfortunately most speak words that would benefit their firm and really have their own best interests in mind. In many instances you as a client is secondary at best.
All I can do is leave a very direct and honest review and then it’s your choice to decide how you would like to go about with your case.
I was very lucky to have someone I completely trusted referee myself to Menachem. I know that most of the times unfortunately that’s not possible for whatever reason, and just like I would’ve hoped to come across a honest review that consisted of no alternative motives, and is just for the sake of trying to help others make wise choices, I can tell you this much I wouldn’t be taking my precious time in middle of the day, time I can never get back if I wasn’t 100% absolutely beyond a doubt confident that Mr Mayberg will do all in his power to help you and will fight on your behalf. After hiring this attorney, I quickly found out I had made the wrong selection of counsel. The case was a simple motion to set at side a conviction and the initial motion sent to the court was full of errors including grammatical and the case number which was not discovered until a year later.
As a result of the lack of detail the case dragged in the wrong jurisdiction for over a year until he was instructed to refile the case with the correct case number. Two years we wasted on this lack of over sight.
Thereafter, a hearing was set to present the motion to a judge and attorney Mayberg was late by over 30 minutes. The Judge was so furious that ended up denying the motion all together.
I would certainly not recommend this attorney to any one.

I can only refer Gerald Kornreich as one of the most powerful and successful lawyers in Miami with the biggest heart.
When I first came to his law firm, Kornreich and Associates, I had nothing and I was scared. My life was falling apart.
My ex-husband had thrown me and our young kids out of our house,took my money, credit cards and car away and I had no idea, how to get out of this situation or even how I would ever going to be able to pay any lawers fees. Gerald Kornreich saved my family after my first attorney failed on a technicality and abandoned my case. After he caught wind of my story, he knew he had to make it right, even though I could not afford to pay him. Because of him, my legal rights to my son have been restored and my family is whole again. Though it was undoubtedly a very small case relative to his other cases, he realized that it could have long-lasting impact on a young man about to go to college. I have been working with Noel Burns for about 4 years now and that is about 2 years too long for me. Adter a while, he stopped returning my phone calls and email messages. I do not know if it is him, per se, or his new assistant, Judy.
Since he had to downsize his firm, his personal contact has been atrocious. I had to contact the Florida Bar Association to get him to give me a lousy phone call.
I would not recommend his services.

Rich represented me in an injury claim against one of the major Miami-based cruise lines. The litigation process was very difficult and we were faced with numerous obstacles. No matter what was thrown our direction, he saw everything through. Mr. Rusak handled a claim for me against a major cruise line. In the beginning he seemed to have care and have a genuine interest in helping. As time progressed, he was not keeping me as informed of things as he was in the beginning. I had to contact him on multiple occasions to find out what was going on. A client has the right to know what is going on with their case. He was doing what he needed for the case, but didn't seem much interested in me as his client through this very tough process. Mr. Rusak is very knowledgeable, but having under 10 years experience, I would personally recommend an attorney with more experience for difficult claims. My claim did reach settlement before court. But it was rushed and premature. I found out after that my claim was worth much more. Perhaps as Mr. Rusak matures in this industry, he will gain a sense of compassion toward his clients. He has been named a rising star, so he has apparently done good stuff according to his industry peers. I do wish him the best.

He called himself, the day before to confirm appointment; that was good. I waited in the office for a half an hour after completing my intake paperwork. Empty waiting room, no one checked in with me. No, "sorry we're running late", or the Lawyer will be with you shortly", nothing. So, I walked.He or his office hasn't followed up as of yet. Who knows, he could be a fine lawyer.

Reading all these other reviews, I feel like I must be delusional. I had a different experience. I hired Mr. Kohlman to write a prenup. Before hiring, he verbally promised me that we'd be returned part of the retainer for sure if my fiancee was as uncontentious about the agreement as I claimed she'd be. I followed my side of the bargain: my fiancee, after we found representation for her later, insisted w/ her attorney that she not fight for more on the prenup. Thus, Mr. Kohlman's prenup required pretty much no alterations besides what he needed to alter simply bc the first draft wasnt polished completely yet. We kept our side of the bargain, and reminded him of that, yet he sent *ME a bill saying I owed more!!!???? Another part of the deal was that we were trying to get married before the end of the year for tax purposes. Mr. Kohlman was extremely unresponsive throughout the entire drafting process; it quickly became clear that he was only responsive before we paid him, not after. I almost spent more time trying to call him and email him than he spent on the agreement. He probably responded to about 10% of my attempts to contact him. It was terribly exasperating. In the end, the bill he sent us included 3X more time billed for simply talking w/ opposing counsel than the opposing counsel (representing my fiancee) billed us for talking to him AND reviewing the agreement first AND discussing aspects w/ my fiancee. The final agreement is probably fine, but the entire experience was terrible, and I'm left wanting to sue him for malpractice.

We retained Mr. Kohlman for a Petition for Modification of Child Support and to address MSA issues. We were required to wire him his retainer (didn't accept credit cards). This was in April 2020. As of the end of June 2020 there was - in addition to Mr. Kohlman going missing for over a month - no production and no responses to my request for a refund of our retainer. I have filed a complaint with the Florida Bar and have filed a claim with the Clients' Security Fund. I would give Mr. Kohlman zero stars if this site allowed it.
