As a client of Cynthia Zuñiga Hernandez, it has been difficult to leave what you would consider negative feedback given the importance and weight these reviews have on a small private practice but my reflection is solely based on my personal experience as I hope to help any recent divorced mothers looking to receive competent representation. I engaged the services of a family law attorney with the expectation of receiving adequate representation throughout the intricate and emotionally taxing process of divorce. Regrettably, my choice of Cynthia Zuñiga Hernandez as legal counsel was a disastrous one. This attorney, who was hired to provide support and guidance, was instead unprofessional and overall left me feeling deserted. Cynthia Zuñiga, Esq negligence in her duties resulted in critical errors during the divorce proceedings. She lost contact with me after we accomplished to remove my Ex from my Health insurance, nearly 8 weeks trying to communicate with her about a mediation timeline. Cynthia continuously blamed the negligence on her co-worker who I assume is now her partner from Law Center of South Florida, P.A. She apologized profusely and mentioned she's shifting her area of law to probate and bankruptcy. What does her shift in a different area of law have to do with my case. The additional stress imposed proved to be insupportable and prompted me to caution others to avoid making a similar mistake in their choice of legal representation. This divorce continues since 2021 and has yet to be finalized. I would stay away from Cynthia Zuñiga Hernandez who goes by Cynthia Zuñiga, P.A. from Law Center of South Florida, P.A. and everyone who associates with her, you will be disappointed.

Alan Soven receives a zero-star rating from me. He represented me in a false domestic violence accusation by my ex-wife. Despite having a strong case with witnesses and 911 tapes in my favor, Soven persuaded me to accept a plea deal for 1 year of probation with adjudication withheld, claiming it was the best option to avoid a potential 5-year sentence if found guilty at trial. However, Soven failed to inform me that my record couldn’t be expunged or sealed due to the nature of the charges in Florida. Had I received proper legal advice, I would have opted for a trial instead of accepting the plea deal. Soven’s incompetence has led me to caution against engaging him for any legal matters. He should stick to ambulance chasing cases.

Would rate Zero stars but that is not possible. So 1 Star =Zero stars.
Bad legal advise and Alan Soven does not have a grip on the law. Let me explain, he advised me to accept a plea bargain from the State prosecutor and advised me not to go to trial with a good defense with evidence that I was inocente. He wanted me to accept the plea bargain since it’s less work for him. He did this by instilling fear into me that I would loose the case and go to prison. He assured me that he would simply expunge my record afterward I complied with the conditions of the bargain. He was UNAWARE and uneducated of the the age old law in place, which I later found out, did not allow for me to be able to seal or expunge my record as I had erroneously been lead to believe by the so called attorney, Alan Soven. When I asked him what he was going to do for me, he told me that there was nothing for him to do. Of coarse there isn’t anything to do because he misrepresented to me the law. I would have NEVER accepted the plea bargain if I knew what Alan Soven led me to believe was true... but was not. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Undertaking corruption in a municipality is a daunting task. It was attorney Sovens total commitment and fierce determination that enabled a multimillion-dollar code enforcement scheme to be uncovered and terminated. Enlisting the FBI and going up against a prominent Florida Law Firm not only did Allen succeed but he sacrificed. Because of his aggressive prosecution of my case his office was burned in an arson fire in attempt to silence him and prevent further action on his part. Without his dedication millions of dollars worth of properties would have been seized and no one would be the wiser. My deepest thanks always go to his work and to his work ethic.

We used Jim services and counsel, October 2019. We were in our rights but the other company would not hear anything.
Not only jim was easy to talked to, but he advised us very well and got us what was right.
He was caring, easy to reach out, he was on our case from A to Z. We were introduced to him by friends from Ohio.
We met with him, we saw he was reliable and not all about money, he was correct, efficient, came up with ideas, and did everything for our case to not escalate.

This Attorney has alot of Bark but no bite to see the case through to trial.
Took our case on a contingency than when it came time to get to trial, tried to convince me to take the first “lowball”offer the defendants offered, so he could make a quick buck without having to do any work. When I disagreed, decided he was going to unilaterally re-write the terms of his representation agreement, so that I would have to pay all fees going forward...totally disreputable! Stay away! This is not a firm that has the deep pockets to fight for you and get your case to trial!

James Gitkin is an awesome personal injury attorney. He's got an awesome paralegal, by the name of Sarina, who is super great, friendly and will get things done for you! I call her my 'pitbull in a skirt' SOLEY for how she gets things done and is on top of her game. They are an awesome team! In an accident, don't call 411pain, I did, almost got messed up, but decided to search avvo and got this great attorney! 2 thumbs up! I was a client of attorney Bobby Nunez. During the first meetings with the attorney I asked some question that were not cleared answered and y were many more that he would not answered. Since it was my first accident, I was very confused about the procedures when to do what and who will do what. I signed contract with this firm sometime in the middle of February. At the end of month, our situation got worse not only economically since we lost all incomes but also the only vehicle in the household broke down. We have limited transportation and liquid assets to manage the regular bills (mortgages and utilities) then credit cards and loans, any other bills. Unfortunately, we couldn’t continue with the physical therapies and We participated our decision to the attorney. At the beginning of June, I contacted the attorneys office to obtain a case status. To our surprise the assistant asked if we stopped the treatments and we told her yes. We have communicated the information to the attorney back in February not because we were feeling better but other situations were pressing that required immediate attention. To our surprise she said that without treatment there was not case. That she would consult with the attorney but that was pretty final and she did not believe it would change. She was flabbergasted when I asked why did not the attorney let us know. He knew we were stopping the treatments and never indicated otherwise. She also said that she checked with the clients monthly, so why didn’t she check with us not even after a month or two months or not even after four months? Why? Immediately after a validation email came from the attorney confirming that without a treatment there was not case and he would not represent us anymore. I was disappointed because we were expecting to be informed about the process, the steps during the process and also informed that it was imperative to have therapist in order to have a legal representation. We thought we have stopped an important aspect of our case with justifications or not, but we also have talked about other factors that weight equally or more than the treatments for example: I bought my car and I have paid 14 k towards that property which I lost? Wages, emotional distress? All other problems that come after the accident that can not be resolved with physical therapy. i recalled the attorney said, don’t worry please write down all your lost I will present them to the insurance company. So what happened to all those lost besides the health issues? They are not valid? They don’t count ? They are not important? All those factors were important to us because we were affected by a guy that was negligent while driving i95 and hit our rear back while moving. He broke our balance and equity in our life’s, he made me particularly feel disoriented, lost, lost lost. -and we had an attorney but he did not support us as we thought and at the end he dismissed us totally.

On my first traffic violation which I hired him to actually go to court for, all he did was take the deal at pre-trial (which I could have done in 5 minutes and saved like 80 bucks) and ended up having to spend almost the same amount as the ticket for what he called "court fees"

I found Mr. Pozo to lack basic knowledge in the field of tort litigation which in which he holds himself out as having experience. He stated that he does not work on cases he openly tells people that he only does marketing. He holds himself out as a trial lawyer; however, I could find no evidence in any local court docket that he has ever tried a case to a verdict Asking him basic questions about trial law made it clear in my opinion that he had no such experience.

I reached out to Chalik & Chalik to retain the law firm for a personal injury case I’m dealing with at the moment.
It’s as if the initial process goes through a 3rd party company who misrepresent the contract of retainment. I didn’t understand the language in which the or most of the big words that was in the contract. They was literally telling me anything to get me to sign the the contract. The only thing they didn’t tell me was “your illiterate”. Which didn’t need to be said, the feeling was there already.
When I finally got in contact with CHARLES who told me he’s a lawyer at the firm, the situation went from bad to worst. He was nothing short of belligerent, rude, disrespectful, and narcissistic.
Ultimately, I decided not to hire CHALIK & CHALIK for this case and seek legal counsel elsewhere. I wouldn’t under any circumstance recommend anyone hire this firm for anything .

Jason Chalik handled my auto accident case in early 2011. The entire process was incredibly simple. From the first time I called into their office, I felt comfortable with the process and the staff handling my case. They clearly explained the process and kept in constant communication during the case. I never felt like I was in the dark. Jason's office was able to refer me to an excellent doctor to make sure I was given care to get better as quickly as possible. I am also very happy with the settlement amount. My experience with this lawyer was absolutely terrible. I ended up loosing my house six mo before they said that I would lose my house if they did nothing! She did not explain anything to me. I never met her face-to-face. I had a meeting with a person I thought was a lawyer in her office and gladly accepted her legal advice only to learn later on that she had no legal training! Issues sometimes come up in life that are some times over overwhelming , this happen to me , My young son and i needed legal help and i needed a professional who actually cares and knows the law , the first lawyer took our money , made excusses after excuse and ran leaving us is a worse than i was in previous, then even asked for more money to fix his mess ups ??
Funny thing i found a cite that recommends lawyers and I found Adela Estopinan , I went into see her to explain my case and she was a GOD send . Mrs. Estopinan is an attorney that knows the law and cares about you , i didn't feel like a customer i felt like a family member . In the end everything i was advised of happened as i was told in the beginning , and all our worries and sleepiness night disappeared.
Choosing a attorney is scary but we were lucky finding and attorney that cares about the client and knows the law.

My sister (minor back then) and I hired this lawyer for our asylum case in 2019, in one of the appointments we had with him and his rude translator, he lost his patience punching the table we were sitting in, he left the room “to get some air” my sister and I were really scared since his attitude was not professional at all, we never wanted to go back to his office, that was very inappropriate.

I went on a free consultation to visit this "LAWYER""
It happened that all was good a first, once we paid him the initial fee of $1500 it already started to be very complicated to get in touch with him.
His secretary is completely useless as she never know anything.
The worst was that i had settlement done with the other parties but Mr Poe never sent back the settlement to the other parties and i actually lost couple thousands of dollars because of his none professionalism.
After that happening he tried to convince me to pay the other parties to finish my case so it will be more simple for him, all this discussions by email because Mr Poe don't have the time to talk to his clients!
Than Mr Poe took again some vacation and be out of the office for 2 weeks, once my next settlement was due the next week, so i have no lawyer to defend my case and had to hire someone else who was so much more professional and CLOSED MY CASE IN 2 PHONES CALLS !
I don't recommend this lawyer to anybody be very careful of hiring him for your case....

Feeling robbed by this firm and Mr Ira Silverstein. We hired him for a super sensitive case but he didn’t bother himself to even talk to the person that was in trouble. He was busy with other cases and never told us that he doesn’t have time so we spent crucial time with waiting and he charged us almost $3,000 for going to 1 hearing. Can’t even explain how disappointed I am.

Words can't describe how unhappy we are with this firm. We were referred to Ira Silverstein regarding a very delicate case with a seller our company was under contract with to buy his property. The seller is about to lose his house in pre foreclosure he is the heir of the property inherited from his mother. This attorney did not start the probate till after one month of being hired. He said he was busy and also felt ill. He acted all high and mighty when we hired him and it ended up being the biggest waste of time and money we could have ever spent. We came to him so that he can stop the sale in June which he did and got it postponed till July. He then came back and said our only option is to redeem the property and pay the entire balance ourselves. We hired him to get probate going, file quiet title so that we can purchase this property. We wasted time and now the seller has no other option but to lose his home. There was fraud involved in this case from individuals who tried to steal this sellers deed. Even the attorney who referred us to him was aware of this. We truly feel no one cared AT ALL for this poor seller. He never ecen communicated with the seller!! It's truly a shame and sad he charged us almost 3000 dollars to just go and get a sale postponed for a 1 month. He still drafted the docs for probate and sent it to the seller. I'm speechless and saddened more than anything. And in the end all he did was ask if we wanted his services stopped. Truly did not give 1 damn about anything but the money we paid him in our opinion. Feeling robbed by this firm and Mr Ira Silverstein. We hired him for a super sensitive case but he didn’t bother himself to even talk to the person that was in trouble. He was busy with other cases and never told us that he doesn’t have time so we spent crucial time with waiting and he charged us almost $3,000 for going to 1 hearing. Can’t even explain how disappointed I am.

Words can't describe how unhappy we are with this firm. We were referred to Ira Silverstein regarding a very delicate case with a seller our company was under contract with to buy his property. The seller is about to lose his house in pre foreclosure he is the heir of the property inherited from his mother. This attorney did not start the probate till after one month of being hired. He said he was busy and also felt ill. He acted all high and mighty when we hired him and it ended up being the biggest waste of time and money we could have ever spent. We came to him so that he can stop the sale in June which he did and got it postponed till July. He then came back and said our only option is to redeem the property and pay the entire balance ourselves. We hired him to get probate going, file quiet title so that we can purchase this property. We wasted time and now the seller has no other option but to lose his home. There was fraud involved in this case from individuals who tried to steal this sellers deed. Even the attorney who referred us to him was aware of this. We truly feel no one cared AT ALL for this poor seller. He never ecen communicated with the seller!! It's truly a shame and sad he charged us almost 3000 dollars to just go and get a sale postponed for a 1 month. He still drafted the docs for probate and sent it to the seller. I'm speechless and saddened more than anything. And in the end all he did was ask if we wanted his services stopped. Truly did not give 1 damn about anything but the money we paid him in our opinion. So sad and broken for this seller.

Para mi dejo mucho que desear la única vez que me entrevisté con ella. Nada de lo que me dijo que era su opinión y nunca legalmente el caso se ajustó al tema. Más de la mitad del tiempo de consulta mía la pasó hablando sin ton ni son mal de los demás incluso hasta de una prima de ella. Varios comentarios racistas y xenofobicos salieron a la luz. Incluso en sus comentarios dijo varias malas palabras. Se contradijo y al final sólo resultó en que le di los $75:00 dólares de la consulta como una limosna. En definitiva, me asesoré muy bien con información televisiva y de internet. Metí mi caso por mi cuenta sin abogado y lo gané. La única pequeña traba ya ni fue con ella sino con la ineficiente trabajadora de Inmigración que estaba más perdida que nadie. Resultando mi caso ganado en un ma apelación por mi cuenta ante la Suprema Corte de Washington.
No recomiendo a esta abogada ni para relleno en espacios televisivos. En estos más o menos cuarenta años que lleva ejerciendo a cuanta gente habrá embarcado?

I hired this attorney Gisela Ibarra because I heard a lot of good reviews about her. To be honest I think she pays to get her awards and also for her reviews. I paid her 120 for the consultation and from there on she requested additional of thousands more which I end up paying thinking she was working on my case. She is a very sick evil person who have no heart for anyone who wants the American dream. She is very disrespectful and despicable person with no manner what so ever. I will also report her to the Florida Bar for stealing my money and not doing NOTHING what so ever on my case. May God have mercy on her soul. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE HER!!

Grisel Ybarra is the worst of the worst. She is the most cruel person I have known as a lawyer. I went to her office to explain the case of my sick sister and she automatically insulted me saying that my sister could not come to this country because she was mentally retarded, in other words she said she was abnormall, that my little sister was never going to be allowed to enter the United States because she would never contribute anything to this country. She said it was better to have the Cuban marimberos who grow and sell marijuana because they are the ones who have given Miami development and progress. This lawyer is a shameless fake, unfortunate for insulting sick people and celebrating those who grow and sell drugs. She hates the Cubans in their entirety. She should not be a lawyer, she does not deserve her title or represent anyone. I want to tell you now that my little sister is already here in the USA. I was referred to this attorney by one of his assistants thats a friend of mine. She was so helpful and was really up to date with my case. She also passed me on to the girl who was in charge of my case. The girl speaks very fast but she was wonderful and very accurate. I wanted more money than what was settled for, but sometimes we think our "case" is worth more than it really is. I want to thank not only the attorney Ruiz I want to thank the staff at the law office because although it took a little long, the results were great.

I was a little weary of this attorney since some of the reviews weren't great, but my neighbor had great results so I trusted in the offices of John H. Ruiz. Since I went to the first meeting his personnel were all very helpful. I didn't meet with him directly at first, but he did come around and was informed of my situation.... Needless to say I did not lose my home of over 25 years to Bank of America. we won and I could not be happier with the result.

I wanted to do a loan modification at the time that the market went belly up. I was advised by this firm not to continue paying my mortgage in order to show hard ship. Instead, I had to pay them on a monthly bases. I was advised that bank of america would be willing to forgive the upside down on the pay off and life would be great. Not only was that a bold face lie, but I ended up in the worst situation. The bank implemented a forced placed insurance that cost about $11K a year, also they did not forgive one single penny from the time we stopped paying the mortgage. Some in about a 2 and half year time frame, the bank added about $200K to my original balance that was about $330K. So now I owe over $515K and this peace of work attorney that claims he is the best in the industry, turned his back once I got the loan modification papers. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU CAN DO DIRECTLY WITH YOUR BANK.

Attorney Lynda Amadi Esq is an amazing lawyer. She was able to get me divorced this year, in less than eight months, even during the pandemic. Ms Amadi was able to negotiate a fair marriage agreement for us, and got me out of a miserable situation. He takes his time and works at his own speed. He tells you what you want to hear. He is a very smooth talker. Do not trust him with any other type of case other than a speeding ticket, IF THAT! I will never recommend this lawyer, nor will I ever use him again, not even for a speeding ticket. He will mess everything up. He did absolutely nothing for my case. I ended up having paid him and hiring another new lawyer. Terrible. If I could give him NO stars, I would.
