Michael has a great sense of self. He is aware of both his capabilities and limitations. He excels at organization and community strategy and has the ability to fashion the appropriate legal strategy and approach to fit the situation at hand. As the Chief Executive of my organization it was extremely difficult to navigate and separate all of the key issues. Prior to working with Michael I did not have an effective sounding board for the issues that I was dealing with, so it was extremely helpful to have a non biased sounding board in Michael who understood the dynamics related to both the organizational, political and legal issues involved. I highly recommend Cassandra Snelling as an attorney. Her specialty is family law and she was excellent in her representation of me throughout my divorce process. Not only was she a great attorney, advocating for my needs and educating me on my rights, she was kind and compassionate.

No one else is saying this, so I will. Emily is a secret weapon at this law firm and she knows Kung Fu.

I had telephoned several attorneys regarding my situation. None of them viewed my case as I did; there was something wrong with the timing of a work-related injury claim
and my employment being terminated.
Then, someone referred me to Christopher Slater.
I was instantly impressed with his honesty, knowledge of the law, and how well informed he was of the particular requirements for the industry in which I was employed.
He expressed confidence, patience, and the value of timing with regards to filing my complaint with the proper court.
Christopher's genuine concern regarding my current medical condition was a relief and he advised me to "take care of it first".
Christopher spent a great deal of time on the phone during the initial conference and everytime afterwards.
He was easy to talk with and always straightforward; often using metaphors to get his point across.
And always he made certain I had no questions at the end of all conversations.
I appreciated his mindfulness of my time and distance from his office.
Office meetings were kept to a bare minimum.
The discussions regarding plan of procedures, his work on a contingency basis, and the difference between costs and fees were done via phone or email.
He made sure I understood my responsibilities before, during, and after the process of filing a suit.
The defendent eventually offered a settlement following a decision made by the State of Oregon courts during discovery.
I met with Christopher and the adjudicator to negotiate.
It was apparent he is a plaintiff's lawyer, as he often referred to himself.
I am certain his ethics, values, and professionalism appear very well in a courtroom.
I have a great deal of respect for Christopher and highly recommend him to anyone with questions regarding employment and disablilities.

Patricia A. Brockway, there's only one word I could use to describe her with and that is AWESOME!! AWEOME! AWESOME! She took up a case for my dad about a year ago and I've been working with her since then and all I can say is that she is AWESOME! She was friendly from day one. Chris represented me when I was in an accident. He was always available to answer my questions and concerns. The insurance adjuster was being very rude to me up until I hired Chris, then I never had to deal with that insurance a****** again. Chris took care of everything for me and even got the insurance to reimburse me for the crutches I had to rent.

I was represented twice by Mrs Pritchard and both times she has fought like a Tiger on my behalf shreding the oponent party to peaces before a court of law. Her tacktics are amazing. I was in the Washington county jail when I met her in early 2006. She is an attorney that is not financially incline in order to defed because she takes cases like if they were her own personal issues and not her clients. To me, it felt that she protected me from anyone or anything coming my way from any direcction at any given time. When she stood next to me before the Judge in open court, her presence was my strenght and it felt like if I was shield with an armor against the enemy. I really, really admire Mrs. Pritchard for her experience and her agressiveness. She also is someone that no matter what you tell her about your case. Good or bad, she just will not change her manners, nor erase her soft smile and those gorgeous eyes she has will continue to see directly onto yours while at the same time listens to you as if a mother was listening to her child. I am in the process of hiring her again. I think of her from time to time because she will always have a place in my heart for her. I have and will always recomend her as long as I live. I have worked with Maite during two incidents that occurred while conducting business in Portland.
1) I foolishly didn't read the fine print and was involved with a horrible contract. I thought I was getting a free promotion through Yellow Pages, but it turned out to be an entirely different company. I felt like I wasn't alone when I hired Maite, and the issue was settled amicably.
2) Another incident occurred involving employment. I felt lost again and fear that someone wouldn't be able to handle the bad news I had to deliver. Consulting with Maite during this ordeal helped ease my mind and in the end the situation was smooth sailing.
Sometimes we need assurance in order to take care of our own business. We're small people, small business owners.
Although I am no longer needing her services for my business, I highly recommend Maite as an attorney for almost all business transactions, whether monetary or personnel.

I had the pleasure of working with Sean Currie during my divorce case. Sean Currie was part of a team of lawyers who handled my case and to say that my divorce case was ugly would be an understatement of the highest magnitude.
I personally worked with Sean during the discovery phase of my case. He was very well organized and detailed and stayed on top of things.

I had to suspend my desire to be overly involved in building my case, and Mr. Caver did not disappoint. He knew exactly how to present my case to a difficult judge; I was awarded a maximum benefit.
