I did not communicate directly with Mr. Kennedy regarding my situation, but rather through one of his associates. Still, the advise I received was pragmatically very effective in informing me how he felt I should proceed with my case (still pending). I appreciated his professionalism in that he didn't let personal morality influence the advise he offered.

Terrible deceitful lawyer who is nothing less than a disturbed crazy man in need of help. Don't let him mess up your legal affairs. Especially if it involves life long consequences. That, and he waste time on petty arguments with opposing counsel.

The answer to your review Valentino..... I had a pleasure meeting with Mr. Lane n his work as an immigration attorney is excellent and he has been great in communicating with his clients. Second of all perhaps due to his age being over 70 he has either retired n is no longer in practice due to personal reasons.

I retained Scott Roberts through my EAP program at work to assist me with a protection order. I only have positive things to say regarding his representation. He is professional, detail oriented, compassionate, has good listening skills and is available when you need to speak to him. I feel very fortunate to have had him represent me! I had a positive outcome and he took care of everything in a timely fashion.

I needed a lawyer to represent my brother and I in a dispute with our Father’s estate. Mark was recommended to me by another family member who had great success with him in the past. Mark met with me very shortly after I contacted him. We had a discussion of the issues and he said it sounded like we had a strong case. I gathered as many documents as I could find and handed them over and he went to work on the case. Mark was very knowledgeable about estate law and after many communications with the estate’s attorney it was decided that we go to mediation with a judge. This was during quarantine so these mediations happened over internet conferencing. Mark was awesome in court. He had documentation and great arguments to refute all the opposing attorney’s claims. We were awarded everything that we were fighting for. I have never been involved with court cases so it took longer than I originally thought it would, but I am very happy with the results. Thanks Mark!

To be fair to Mr. Worthley, he did suffer a death in his family at the time, but still, I wasn't contacted by him or his staff for two months after I and my advocate consulted with him in person. (I'd been referred to him by the Oregon Bar.) After those two months, he said that he'd called the other person's lawyer, and that he didn't think I needed any legal help or even mediation. He then gave me a solution that we'd already explained to him wouldn't be possible. With all due respect, Mr. Worthley didn't remember any of the key issues in my case, and then only offered me a solution that would not only not work for my case but had nothing to do with the core issues which we presented to him at our meeting in person. He refunded only part of my retainer and wrote me a letter saying I had "mischaracterized" him (whatever that means). I was surprised and disappointed, and I would definitely not recommend him.

Not only did I waste my entire savings with this guy but he resigned before it even mattered. My Ex won everything and I was left high and dry! Had hired her but ended up getting her junior partner when it came for court time who could not even write a decent court document for the case. Also she kept giving bad advice putting my children and myself in danger. After finally switching to a less known but very competent and effective lawyer who listened to my concerns. Ms. Rackner would not believe all the things I was telling her and had to get 2 witnesses to talk with her who were professionals to have her even consider that going back to an abusive home was out of the question. She would not be my choice for an abusive situation or if there is any mental health problem in a divorce case.

Lucy demonstrated she is not capable of representing those who desire anything other than to throw themselves at the mercy of the court or are simply willing to settle for mediocrity about their representation. Lucy takes on FAR to large a caseload and in turn does not communicate proactively or effectively. She does not answer phone calls, she returns emails and texts when it appears she feels that she has no choice.  She does not follow reasonable client requests regarding providing discovery, exhibits, etc.  She only takes the time to communicate when she knows she has dropped the ball.  Her lack of initiative and professionalism cost me unnecessary time in jail, money, and more importantly frustration.  I am VERY calm and reasonable.  I understand professionalism and attempt to do the best job one can.  I essentially represented myself.  In the end, she provided nothing to my situation.  She added insult to injury by not following through with disputing Lake Oswego Municipal Court from billing me for her court-appointed attorney services.  Short of having a license with the bar I don't know what aptitude she brought to the table. I discourage anyone from placing their future in the counsel of Lucy.

As a first nation I struggle with identity and acceptance of the populations in the Americas in simply making jurisdictions in-laws to over substance substantiate what has happened in history in America does not negate any of the facts on how political framing exist I pray for every first nation in America and I pray that Lucy also heals from stating she had enough hearing about my ancestors for all court-appointed people in the biracial Community we are in a period where our ancestors are and will always be allowed to be discussed. I had to end the relationship a d engagement due to cultural reasons and hope her clients are happy yet in my 1st nation life, we talk soind act and are different. Not in truth of Our boarding schools some acknowledgements must be done by those whom hold those same standards, that have covered up our peoples stories. I have ptsd anxiety and generational trauma. Cheif public defender? Yea she was horrible defending me including not allowing my witnesses and changing my statements while accusing me of being guilty behind closed doors. I had to show and research evidence because her and helpers didn't. She added a lesser charge when she isn't suppose to and didn't even talk to me about it after telling me to say something in court that I actually didn't do. Luckily I had overwhelming evidence to show that my case is based off a load of cr**. Luckily I didn't end up in jail but I would not wish her upon anyone else. There is more I can say but she knows what she did. Horrible horrible defense.

After long hours of work travel and caring for my elderly parents I returned to a restraining order and found myself without my home. I shopped around & scheduled meetings with 5 Lawyers. Ms. Runstein was the only one who told me that she will do her best to win/mitigate the accusations. Robin had a firm handshake and an On-Point attitude. She tackled the issue without hesitation and intended to resolve it within our first meeting. She presented me with all possibilities in a layered approach. Robin Runstein carefully planned against each allegation, and Beautifully executed in the court room. Needless to say, the Judge was convinced to reject the restraining order. I would HIGHLY recommend Robin Runstein to anyone looking for a Great Lawyer. I only wish her Father (Ted R.) could have seen her flawless performance.

I want to inform other abused women of my experience with Robin Runstein who served as my divorce attorney from June 2013 – June 2015. In my opinion, Ms. Runstein’s significant and consistent lack of preparedness and legal accuracy, combined with her inability/unwillingness to communicate effectively in a timely manner with me (her client) and with opposing counsel, made an already dangerous situation for my children and me, far worse. I do not believe I was well represented and I would not recommend her.

Jeffrey failed me in every way and it's my opinion that he lacked empathy or respect for the difficulties I was facing. It is also my honest opinion that I do not recommend him for legal services. He took advantage of me during a time I was vulnerable, while incurring excessive fees without providing the help I needed. Jeffrey Frasier increased his wages in the middle of our litigation without proper notice. He racked up a higher price tag with tasks that should have been completed in a shorter time frame, especially with his background and experience. He added billable hours to my invoice, then later sued me for his fees. He made no reasonable offers to settle our fee dispute, and even failed to attend our scheduled mediation. When making an important decision to hire a lawyer to represent your important legal matters... you need to ask yourself..... do you want someone who is willing to bring a suit against the client vs. assigning their fee claims to a collection agency? I really wish I would have done my homework, before being damaged and financially ruined by Jeffrey Frasier

I hired them years ago and won my ssdi case they charged the max amount for the help $6,000 and I was fine with that. Ssdi reviewed my case and denied me years later and SK&R said they would help but since I already was their client and paid max fees it was as a courtesy. They said signing a new contingency agreement was just standard but I wouldn't be charged. They did great helped me win again but two years later when I called them asking if they did veteran disability they started asking for their fee. I explained what I was told and they say the guy that helped me no longer works there so I need to pay. Then they call me saying they will contact ssdi for the fee but will work with me to get it waived so I pay nothing. Well now months later no contact and I'm getting notice from ssdi they are deducting my benefits. They do decent work but ethics are very questionable over 710.00 fee after I already paid 6000.

The only reason I gave him 1 star is because there wasnt a choice for zero stars dont go to that whole firm period. They wont keep in touch, get to know you or your issues, wont listen to you and things you fel should be talked about at the hearing. He will sit there and not say a dm thing while you lose. They (he) turns your records in to late so the judge doesnt have to admit them, dont use these people they are ignorant haughty and lame. The judge wrote in my last denial that I had degenerative disk disease, thats how dumb this guy is, I have a TBI not DDD. They also tossed my case around the firm to 5 people mr. kerr was the 6th, unbeknownst to me until after the fact. The only cases he wins are the ones that win theirself.

I should have done my research because I am finding now that my review follows a very similar trend reflected in others' reviews. We waited almost 2 weeks for a consultation. At the time of the scheduled appointment, we waited 5 minutes of silence before calling the office and notifying them we were ready for our appointment. They took down our information said they would pass along the message. We waited 10 additional minutes of silence and called again when someone else answered. They took our information down again and said they would pass along the message. I decided to shoot an email as well just in case. We still have not heard a peep from Paul or any of his assistants. Based on our experience and what we see in other's reviews, it appears that Paul neither cares about people nor his reputation. A huge disappointment, especially considering he has been practicing for about 10 years.

Had initial consultation with Mr. Thompson; he agreed to help me with a landlord habitability/civil issue. Told me to get a one-page letter of facts to him but got off the phone before providing me an email address. Was able to finally get him on the phone a few weeks later, only to have him ask if I would call him back as he was super busy. 3 days later, I was able to catch him on the phone again, only to have him tell me he was busy filing a motion and stated he would get right back to me. Have now tried for over 2.5 weeks SIMPLY to get an email address from this guy. Eventually just gave up figuring if he’s this incompetent now, how bad will it eventually get. Apparently, Mr. Thompson has a penchant for not following through on his obligations. Just go to his website; and click on any link other than his home page. Not sure whether or not he is currently even licensed to practice, but from my brief experience with him all the character traits mentioned in the previous reviews are still accurate. Talked to him before hiring him, seems like a great lawyer with alot of knowledge so I decided to hire him.. after i had paid him alot of money there was less and less communication, eventually he texted me and said he would have to drop my case due to much work with other clients, he was apologetic and said we could meet so he could give me cashiers check to refund back money since he was dropping my case.. day off meeting came and he texted with an excuse why he couldn't meet and reschuled another meeting, day of second meeting was another excuse and reschedule, he never showed up for the third meeting and never returned any of my phone calls after that... I see that he is currently suspend but If that ever gets lifted I don't recommend him I lost roughly $8,000-9,000 with him (all this was about 2 years ago so don't remember exact ammount, just recently thinking about it again and figured I'd atleast leave a reveiw so people don't make the same mistake I did by hiring him)

I hired Man 2 years ago to help me with my auto injury accident. In the beginning, he was ok. After about 6 months, he basically fell off the earth. It was take months between contacts despite me trying to contact him via phone, email, or texting. He would never respond. A year after my accident, it was time to close the case and file the complaint for compensation. In Oregon, you have 2 years from the time of your accident to do this. He said there was plenty of time but he would get the paperwork together including all medical records and file this complaint. Fast forward 6 more months, after numerous tries by me to contact him, he stated we were on track. Now here we are almost exactly at the 2 year mark and guess what!? I have not heard from him in 4 months. Finally I was fed up with it and hired someone else. I found out that Man Vu NEVER FILED ANY PAPERWORK at all! He as literally done nothing on my case for 18 months! This was confirmed by my new lawyer! I have less than a week to get my new lawyer everything and for him to file the complaint for compensation. Man has literally done nothing for 18 months on my case and then lied to me about it. I am glad that I hired someone else in time otherwise I would not be getting anything for my injuries. This will no doubt have a great effect on what I will get now since my new lawyer has to frantically put my case together.

Its hard to believe shes still in practice. This attorney does not return calls, does less than bare minimum for clients, and it seems as if she works with DA's office. After a year of "(defending)" my son, she has done NOTHING to defend him. Late or no show court appearances, outbursts of overwhelmed statements, and negative comments about her client, we are expecting a class action group of unsatisfied defendants (which wasn't hard), this lawyer has more violations in attorney misconduct than ever seen. Save yourself, do not retain her services, save your money and yourself.! Good Advice!

This woman has no remorse for her clients, nor does she care about the outcome, either way she get paid at the end of the day, right? I would not recommend you spend a cent of your hard earned money on this women. She does not deserve the slightest amount of aknowlegdement! She is outright the worst Attorney you can imagine. She had us into court rooms failing to inform us of important details, she was almost always late, she usually would not call us back till we called about 3 or 4 times! She was horrific. We would have saved ourselves alot of grief if we had just hired a different lawyer when we noticed she was out of her mind. I pray that Noone has to go through what we did with this lady. It's was awful!

It is my personal experience that when Lynne Dickison is appointed by the courts to represent a client as a Public Defender, you will receive the bare minimum representation allowed by law. Mrs Dickison's interests are aligned with the Assistant District Attorneys in criminal cases. I highly recommend paying her a large up front cash (or check/money order) retainer. From my personal experience, Mrs. Dickison makes no effort to earn the taxpayer dollars that she receives when she is appointed by the courts to act as a Public Defender. Make sure to get all paperwork related to your case, including work done and billable hours. Best of luck.
