Do not hire, you will get burnt, he will take your case so far and then quit, walk away, leave you hanging. You will be forced to hire another lawyer, to clean up his mess and finish the case, and it's not cheap. He will sit on a bad ruling because he wasn't prepared and that will hurt your case, on top of that you will get the pleasure and "expense" of filling an appeal that isn't cheap and then do the trial again. Of course I had to give him one star, because it requires something, too bad it doesn't have negative stars .

Me. Denton has been a very down to earth. He shows a interest in our case. He’s straight forward and has not come off as a money grubbing lawyer. I truly feel he has our best interests at hart and is willing to be straightforward on billing. Any intelligent lawyer needs to be compensated for there time but fairly of course. He is very intelligent, makes us comfortable and has made us very happy at this point.

Mr. Leal was probably the 10th lawyer in the area I met with to discuss my very difficult child custody case, he was absolutely knowledgeable, understanding, and was generally excited about taking my case. Mr. Leal never stopped amazing me, he called and kept me updated every step of the way. He went above and beyond any expectations I had. Mr. Leal methodically researched my case, gathering every piece of evidence we needed. Mr. Leal is the only reason I didn't loose hope during the most stressful time in my life. Mr. Leal worked with me for hours to mentally prepare me for everything that might happen in court. Mr. Leal was always understanding and comforting with me. Mr. Leal astonished me in court, he navigated through the case grace and precision. Don't let his normally sweet demeanor fool you, in court he's a pit bull. I recommend Mr. Leal to everyone dealing with custody issues. Mr. Leal is probably the most educated man I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I was traveling on the access road of US HWY 90 in San Antonio when an 18-wheeler pulled out of a driveway right in front of me, took all three lanes of the access road, hit my car, and forced my car into the side rail. The 18-wheeler driver said I was speeding, and the crash was all my fault. The staff at Trevino Injury were very professional and made sure I received all the medical treatment I needed. I spoke to Mr. Trevino regularly about the status of the case. The case settled about one year after the crash for close to the maximum amount available. I am very happy with the job Mr. Trevino did and the outcome. I highly recommend this law firm if you have been injured by an 18-wheeler.

Back on 5/ 22/2018, I was rearended by a young man in a Jeep Wrangler. I injured my neck and back pretty bad. The young man accepted responsibility, but his insurance carrier Fred Loya refused to pay me anything fair for my injuries. The young man only had a $30,000 dollar insurance policy and Fred Loya refused to pay the $30,000.00 for my injuries. If Loya would have paid the $30,000 I would have been looking at close to $12,000.00 in my pocket, after attorney fees, medical bills and expenses. In comes TRERVINO INJURY LAW – Mr. Trevino used Fred Loya’s greed against them! Mr. Trevino took my case to trial and won a verdict of $120,000.00. Fred Loya appealed this verdict. Mr. Trevino won the case on appeal and made Fred Loya pay us interest during the appeal. At the end of day, I received over $65,000 in my pocket. It sucked waiting 6 years to get paid for my injuries, but it felt good knowing Mr. Trevino made Fred Loya pay more than 4 times the policy. Maybe next time Fred Loya will pay the $30,000 timely! Thank you, Fred Loya. And ya, I recommend this Mr. Trevino to all my friends and family.

I can not believe some of the negative reviews for my attorney. I have hired him on several different occasions for several reasons and never have I had bad experience. I do know that he starts with a retainer and then they bill and you pay as you go. They work with you but at the end you must be paid in full. I think this last person whom posted a comment is just bitter. We dont know anything about these other peoples issues so we can judge this office nor the attorney for someone mad of a outcome that maybe the attorney nor staff had nothing to do with. I understand sometimes clients don't always listen to what we are told by our attorney. I am one but yet I learn the hard way. That's all it took. He has fought for me all the way and I am a single parent and both of them are very nice and kind people and have worked with me. When I first hired him I was surprised they wanted me to come in to meet with me before court because the attorney prior to hiring him in 2008 never met with me prior to my court date. I know for a fact they don't like to due phone appointment the attorney likes to meet in person. I am very happy with this attorney and his office staff.

I completely, and totally agree with every person that gave Mr. Appelt one star! I don't know where to begin... Okay I retained him back in January to help fight my ex husband for the very large amount of child arrears owed. So our case was moved to march during spring break. So I call to make sure everything was in order, and their rude secretary tells me they are on vacation!!! Waa? Like a day before our court case. So they move it again. This time in May. Court case comes around, and what do you know? A 'death in the family' so case got moved again. When he was finally able to show up, he was not prepared, he was late, had nothing prepared, barely even fought for me. And this was just the beginning of July. I ended up losing a lot of money because he did not spend any time on my case at all. He pretty much just winged it. Didn't fight for me at all. Plain and simple. His wife Gladys was very rude. Did not return call or messages, their secretary or whoever she is that answers the phones was rude as hell too! Very unprofessional. I would not recommend them. It's a big waste of money. I will get someone better and who actually cares the next time. I can say some other things, just don't feel like typing it all. Overall, he just didn't care and didn't spend any time on my case, like he had bigger and more important cases to think about, but had no problem taking my money.

Only leaving a 1 star review because I can't leave a 0 star review. James sucked the retainer dry in no time with no work to show for it and asked for it to be refilled multiple times with no progress. I ended up firing James because he couldn't write in clear concise words. After firing James I was able to settle my case in 2 days while representing myself. Do yourself a favor, read the reviews and find a more reputable attorney.

I was going to hire James for an issue and I showed up twice to his office. After waiting 20 minutes the first times I was told we were going to have to reschedule. (thanks for giving me a heads up before i took time off work to show up). The second time a week later I waited a half hour before he showed up to a scheduled appt. During the meeting I felt he was arrogant and was more interested on his phone than my issue so I opted not to use him. He just didnt impress me.

I wouldn't recommend this attorney. She has not return our calls, text, emails or FB messages. We hired her to represent my daughter on a custody case which she did nothing! Then my daughter decide to give her another chance and paid her for another case and she didn't even open the case! She just took my daughter money and hasn't reply to any of our calls! 4 years of doing us the run around but when it comes to money she answers quickly! All I want for her is to pay my daughter her money back! She is a single mother of 3 and she used her saving to pay Kimberly! You cant say you don't know who i am either because I have been trying to get ahold of you for the past 2 years!

Ms. Bush was hired for representation during a family law case. She did no research, did not return calls or communicate in any way prior to the court date, and did not show in court at the appointed time (no call before, during, or after with an explanation). There has been no word from her since, and she relocated her office. Needless to say, the decision was not favorable. The money paid to Ms. Bush was also not returned.

She sales herself really well by making you believe she's going to fight and work hard for you, but once she actually has work to do that all changes.
I asked her multiple times to send me an email and a month later I still haven't received it.
I call her, she says she'll call me back. A week later still nothing. I have to call again.
She had me sign off on paperwork that ended up hurting my case and made things more difficult for me. And she had assured me that it wouldn't.
She kept trying to get me to focus on the other lawyer and kept saying the other lawyer looked like he was going to drop the case. I don't understand why that needed to be a focus or concern.
She is a waste of money and a liar.

Not Recommended.
I contacted this particular Law Firm a week ago. They did not respond that Friday but they did call me back on Monday.
Stephen M. Fields, attorney and lawyer, appeared very excited about my case with State Farm. He wanted a lot of my documents that day which I sent. Stephen M. Fields never requested access to my Google Drive folder but his paralegal did access it. Hello? I'm not hiring a paralegal.
From Monday through almost Friday, Steven never bothered to access the folder that I sent him.
Even if he had it doesn't really make any difference at this point because he indicated he would get back to me in a timely manner after his trial on either Tuesday or Wednesday but here we are almost Friday and no response.
Did he perhaps not see my email? Well I also sent him a text So he either saw the email or the text or saw both. Not a good interaction.

Mr. Linick was appointed to me by the Brazos county felony court. He missed the first two court dates, did not return missed calls, and when he did show up for court, he set me up for trial after I explained to him I only wanted a reset, then he withdrew himself from my case, extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I met Jeff in wilson co. When be was appt Atty to my significant other on a bogus felony drug charge which I also was charged with but never bnot to familiar with the court system in wilson co I opted to hire an atty we went thru the whole court thing and on the final day my Atty did not show up so Jeff went ahead and stestepped up for me and both of us were gdismissed of all charges.I at that same time was in the middle of another situation that I told Jeff about he told me he could possibly help.A 91 year old man I considered a grandfather was in need .I took care of him for 11 yrs and his family decided to place him in a nursing home and involve the APS of neglect .and abuse against myself of course bogus.( I will call him Mr.B ) Mr B was very angry he called me daily saying get me home not being blood my hands were tied
.But I spoke with Jeff about it and he told me what to do I put it into motion immediately .The filu had Mr.B found incompetent,wrong of course I got an appt with a psych Dr .and he found Mr B to be perfectly of soundind the next day Jeff went to see Mr B and was hired and the follow ing day the courts granted Herman the okay to go home .I had. Mr. B stay at the home for 2ore wks while I had the apt he was going to be staying in at my place remodeled for his every comfort and also that APS approved of whom was still in the picture .On Jan 31 2012 Mr B came home to me and I am not sure who was Nappier myself or Mr.B.That day and the look on Mr B's face will be iny mind forever because that was also.B's birthday.Mr.B passed the following yr 2013 in April . But thanks to Jeff he spent it that last yr home with me where he wanted to be.
As for myself I could never thank Jeff. Enough for that ,Mr B meant the world to me and.God Bless you Jeff Linick. U.

I trusted this attorney with everything but as things were getting tougher during my case she was asking me to stick with certain statements that were questionable and a bunch of lies that in my heart I could not tell in court. My husband and I have kids together and had a pretty good relationship until the lies were said in court. I have to hire another attorney. I would not recommend this attorney.

I hired Velia Meza for a divorce case and she went to Mexico for vacation in the middle of the case, she came back a few days before the court date and she wasn't prepared, she didn't do any work on the case. On the court date she was sitting next to the other's party lawyer having a friendly and fun conversation. She didn't fight for me, she didn't defended me. She didn't do anything... I lost. If you hired her I hope you have a better luck.

This was my 1st Time dealing with a Criminal Law Charge regarding my son and had many concerns and questions. When I asked a question, I was greeted with curse words and verbal abuse, extremely demeaning comments. She met my son and looked at his case, for the 1st Time on the morning of his Initial Court appearance She Only appeared pleasant whenever a payment was submitted. I hired attorney Tim Torres in Aug. 2018 for a divorce. To this day I have yet to hear from him. I paid him $1,500.00 upfront and provided addresses where to locate the other party. I kept getting the run around from him until he just disappeared. I called and left multiple voicemails, emails and text messages and nithing. He ran off with my money.. I tried sending him a certified letter and was returned. This isn't right! Taking people's money.

Mr Torres was one of my lawyers several years ago on a personal injury car accident case. In a very stressful time Mr Torres was patient, responded to emails in a very timely manner, and led my husband and I through the process. He seems to genuinely care about his clients.

At best, a weak and incompetent attorney. From my conversations with three other attorneys, possibly corrupt, and from a conversation with an attorney from the firm that delegated my case over to Carl Brock, he, at a minimum, mishandled my case. For a competent attorney it would have been an open and shut case. Carl Brock "lost it", or as suggested to me, worse.
I ended up losing everything "courtesy" of Carl Brock's handling my case.
And he had the audacity to blame the jury.
PATHETIC lawyer.

I don't even know where to start- she represented a friend of mine and it was a mess!!! She filed in the wrong courts. She had multiple errors on paper work and in grammar & punctuation. She was a conflict of interest & unprofessional, communicating with the other party via txt. She didn't give a signed copy of order and instead told her to go get one her self? She failed to file emergency and immediate temporary orders and restraining orders. In the end she fired her self and left her without notice high and dry. Never heard of such BS and I've gone to court plenty.
If she could be rated zero that's what she should get!
Disgrace and embarrassment to real attorneys out there.

He was appointed to me. I spent 6 months in jail on a bond I couldn’t afford with conditions restricting me from returning home if bond was possible. When the money was raised we hired an attorney instead and within 3 days I was released from jail and a flood of motions began to get filed on my behalf. Court appointed attorneys are said to have to represent you to the fullest extent but they aren’t held to it. That has allowed Shaughnessy to collect small checks in return for zero work while lives are devastated. The 3 times I spoke with him he was obviously irritated and blatantly rude. The last time he began cursing and getting very rude when questioned about his obvious lack of effort. He did nothing for 6 months while I was in jail. 2 months after hiring another lawyer he filed a request for payment.

I hired Carlos based off a referral. He had such passion at the start of my case. 8 months later I hired a new attorney. I was tire of email & phone tag. Contacted Mr. Gayler for an employment issue. I had contacted a few other law offices that gave minimal guidance and another that wanted to start a full-blown lawsuit. Knowing I had not found the right advice, I called and left a message for Mr. Gayler. He was responsive (called within 30 minutes), listened intently, and provided advice that I had not received from anyone else. Although I did not have a legal case, he provided advice on actions that I could take on my own. In the end, I was able to receive at least $15k more than was they were offering. I was very grateful for his measured and reasonable advice. A calm voice in the chaos at that moment in my life, and I am so grateful.

Gayler showed no commitment to truth. He was notified of 50 inaccuracies in a legal filing and upon notification he refused to address them. He is devoted to promoting divorce (slogan of “untie the knot”). He takes clients’ money, does rushed and shoddy work, and then refuses to respond to clients once he has been paid. Go elsewhere.

I recently used his service, and I have to say that it was one of tye most frustrating and disappointing experiences that I have had to go through.
In the beginning of the process, everything was going well and at full speed. Contract was signed, retainer was processed. Meetings were set up (huge was of money by the way). Lots of side talk while the clock was ticking.
Signs of incompentence was demonstrated when in meetings or emails, mr. Gayler denied knowledge of informations related to the case that was provided via email or during previous group meetings.
Frustration on my part obviously increased, and when i shared them with him he felt offended and started ignoring my contact attempts.
Why not seek for another professional? Because I was locked. The case/time was so advanced, that it would be more expensive and longer to both parties. Going through the frustration was the only option.
During the whole process, I felt like i was going against my ex, her lawyer and mr Gayler.
It was a "collaborative" process, but there wa no representation. Most of the work done was accomplished by me talking/argumenting with the other party. His job was not more not less than a typical paralegal duty of printing filled templates and collecting money.
At the end I got what I wanted, but I can not give any credit to his services.
