Cynthia has done quite a bit of work for my family and extended family over the years. Not only did she draft most of the trusts for me and my sisters but she also took care of the trust administration when both my parents died. She made excellent suggestions based on her vast experience with dealing with family issues during these difficult times and saved us a lot of tax dollars to boot. I would not hesitate to recommend her to all my family and friends. Also, unlike the negative comment from the reviewer below, I have had excellent service from Cynthia, she even responded to my non-urgent question from work done a few years ago when she was on maternity leave. I have hired Ben Levinson (Ben) for over twenty years. During that time, the cases he assisted with ranged from foreclosure issues, bankruptcy issues, real estate in many forms including eviction assistance, to concerns related to notes and loans. Scarcely a year has gone by when I have not had some issue or cause of litigation which required his assistance.
His knowledge of the fields above has been quite exceptional. His sheer depth of experience has meant I not only felt comfortable with him in every way, but have recommended him to others, as well as regard him as the man "I go to" first of all. In addition, many of my colleagues in the real estate areas above also consider him the "go to man" nowadays. I doubt if there are many attorneys with his combination of experience and book knowledge combined.
I have seen Ben in many different circumstances, and dealt with numerous other attorneys both as a client and adversary. Ben's years of business provides an extensive list of contacts which Ben readily offers to you if needed. This can be very useful where a case is remote from him and minimizes costs by using a local man. I can say he shows no restraint in minimizing exposure to other, cost-saving persons.
Such experience also gives a client the inside information on the type of judges at hand, the best practical way to handle a case, and the strength of an opponent both in terms of the case, and his representation. This class of insight can only come from a long period in the field, and direct interaction with the actors in that field. Ben has both.
As regards his knowledge of the business, I have seen first-hand his vast knowledge applied in what I know have been really exotic cases to my advantage. I have seen him run rings around other, lesser attorneys who literally lack his understanding and insight. I will add his recognition by the bench also does not harm the client where a judge has to choose between attorney BS and Levinson savoir-faire.
With such observations, one would expect a fee that is high. I can state I have found Ben to be quite reasonable. I pay attorneys from $350 per hour to $1,500 per hour. Ben is in the reasonable portion of that range. Furthermore, since your payments as a client are the product of the hourly rate and number of hours, he has not to my knowledge ever added to the hours portion to enhance his bills - in fact quite the contrary. Ben has frequently undercharged for what I was expecting and also given free advice. I wish that were true of all attorneys!
Ben has an office that is not large. As such, if your case is huge, an idea may be to have him lead the case, with one of the major "big-name" offices providing back-up. You will only save using this approach, I can guarantee that. I have used a similar approach on three occasions.
In all interactions I have found Ben to be honest, forthright, and to the point. A valuable asset when the clock is ticking. He is accessible easily and answers his calls in a timely fashion. This may seem trite, but can be a major problem in getting cases started or questions answered. The contrast between Ben and other attorneys I am trying to deal with makes life so much more easy which is why I choose to deal with him when I can.
In short, Ben is both a real professional, who knows his field, and does not inflate charges. A real find, at lease for me, in his world.

I was facing my first DUI charge and unsure of what to do. Do I hire an attorney, or do I handle the court process on my own? Steve helped me with my divorce process starting in 2017.
Before I hired Steve as my attorney, I was close to a settlement with my X-spouse. At the 11:59 hr., my X-wife changed to a new lawyer. It was clear that my X-wife new attorney, being an intellectual property lawyer himself, was after my business and patents since he knew me prior to my separation with my X-spouse and knew that I had a start-up company with intellectual properties. CONFLICT OF INTEREST for this attorney by definition here.
At this stage I knew I needed legal representation and decided to go with Steve Huynh after a recommendation from a financial professional. After a very careful review of my case, Steve asked me what outcome do I want and if the settlement that I was close to settling with my X-spouse was acceptable. I told Steve that would be fine. In the next year, we went over various unnecessary discovery processes as demanded by my X-wife’s attorney. Steve was very methodical and extremely careful with all the details. This is why I term Steve highly technical. Furthermore, he never said anything that was unrealistic or overpromising about the case. He never fabricated anything in anyone’s favor. Steve’s integrity and honesty was impeccable.
In the end and after a year of needless waste of my time and money, Steve helped me to settle with my X-wife with very much what we were close to what we have almost agreed on previously. It was a very upsetting process for me and putting my kids through more pains than it needed to be. Steve tried his best to push the process forward quickly.
Without any reservation, I would recommend Steve to anyone as an attorney to help them in legal matters.

Jeff was referred to me by a successful real estate investor I know. We had problems with a predatory landlord who, among other things, demanded a fee to erect the business signage that was implicit in the lease, but not explicit. Jeff took care of this and the other issues such as parking allocation. He is smart, friendly, and whatever you do, have Jeff read a commercial lease before you sign it. Just very expensive and bad handling of the case. I am not a citizen and I was accused of DV. I came to know of Mr Mayfield from an immigration lawyer. In the very first meeting, when we did not have the police report or any evidence I was told straight that I will have to plead guilty and that I will certainly lose the trial no matter what. There was hardly any evidence the prosecution had against me. I told him multiple times that I wanted to go to trial and that I understand the consequences of losing the trial. I was told some very rude things that being from a country in Asia where there was news of atrocities against women recently, I looked like someone who would do bad things to a woman! That was very sad to hear from my own lawyer. Eventually, as I did not want to be with my wife, he kept trying to convince me to hire an immigration lawyer and a divorce lawyer to file for divorce. I did not fall into that at all. His law firm does civil divorce cases too. I was even sent a mail by him that my wish of going to trial would have grave consequences and I could end up in jail for years! Even though it was a misdemeanor and not even a felony. When I talked to other lawyers, no one believed me that he would have written such a mail. I actually showed the mail to them. Eventually, after running into an enormous bill of 10K usd and still him not willing to go to trial, I decided to move on to a different attorney who handled my case really well and was all prepared to go to trial. Eventually, my case got dismissed on the day of the trial. All in all, I ended up losing lots of money and got bad legal advice. I have 100% confidence that his knowledge of the law is excellent but to this day I do not understand what was his attitude towards my case!

During his handling of my case, he was most concerned about justice and not about fees. He was extremely knowledgeable about the most arcane procedural details and local court customs and practices. He was persuasive in court. He cared.

My experience with their legal team during my custody and child support case was amazing. MTSA staff are very easy to work with. Gina is a compassionate lawyer who will go out of their way to explain options, ask questions and ultimately ease ones anxiety about the terrifying process which a child custody case can be.
Things can get pretty tense in a courtroom but the great on top of my attorney's evidently being knowledgeable not only reassured me I was in good hands time and time again, but it also helped keep me calm and collected.
MTSA worked closely with me and my ex husband's lawyer to come up with a settlement we could both agree on. I was very comfortable with the settlement and in which I didn't feel I sacrificed my beliefs as a caring mother.
This kept us from an extensive custody battle in court and in the end, I feel that attorney Gina and her team fought for my beliefs as a mother and pushed for what I wanted.
I am grateful for that and therefore definitely recommend MTSA family law firm.

Gina Azzolino failed to respond to my case numerous times. She also failed to notify me of upcoming absences in writing. Her lack of response became a problem - after 2-3 times of needing answers and a complete lack of response, I changed lawyers. I like her, and believe she comprehends situations well, but her case load is large, so don't expect to hear from her much.

Mr. Masuda is a newly hired attorney on a restraining order case. It's been about a month so far. We have sent him certified emails, called the office left a message about the email, and today is the 3rd day and he still has not opened the email. It became obvious that email is necessary since he seems to twist words in conference calls. Yesterday in particular he twisted the sequence of a request which would have completely changed the outcome of had it not been clarified by myself. It's obvious to me that he is very inexperienced. It was also frustrating to me that there was other communication within the organization that had not been passed on to him. My brother and myself had to ask him to check into it. Additionally, my brother has had to repeatedly remind him of an important request in answer to OP's attorney.

Earlier this year I found myself in a very unfamiliar place knowing I needed to file for a divorce, but had not idea where to even start because I knew it was going to be an uphill battle and a very difficult process.
I got to speak with one of the senior attorneys and he took the time to answer questions I had and gave me an idea of the process for a divorce. The next day I payed my retainer fees and within days after that I heard back from the attorney that was taking my case.
I decided to hire an attorney to help guide me through this process because I new it was not going to be easy and there were kids and property involved. I wanted to go into this process knowing I had someone looking out for my best interest and someone with the experience and knowledge.
Once Todd Masuda took my case he took the time to get to know my situation, my needs and what I wanted out of this divorce. he address my concerns and put me at ease. He also made me feel like I wasn’t just another case he had.
