When my husband passed away it was a shock. A friend realized that I was going to need a lawyer. I called Charles office in a panic and spoke with Beth. Without hesitation Charles was on the phone with me and after only 10 minutes he knew exactly what to do. He showed up for me! For 3 years, he and the team were my voice. It was a complicated, frustrating fight to the finish. Through the entirety of the pandemic, with court cases being pushed and dealing with multiple lawyers on the other side, Charles and team kept me calm, walked me through everything step by step. My Mother passed on December 25th 2020. Property was in a Family Trust in which one sibling still remained in the home and refused to leave. When all attorneys said no its too risky and they didnt want get involved with a Family Trust situation or failed to evict my sister during COVID Moratorium Cristi was the only that said yes I can do this. She is confident by nature, intelligent and courageous to say the least. She didn't just evict my Sister successfully but was our Families way of communicating because at this point the whole family wanted to contest my Father's Trust that was in effect for 25 years. As difficult as the situation became She remained calm but most of all compassionate for the loss of my Mother and the divided family we've became. Christine Adams supported me during a particularly tenuous time, in the aftermath of the pandemic and after a prolonged, painful and incredibly debilitating experience with discrimination and retaliation. She is brilliant, dedicated and highly skilled at what she does. Her intelligence, exactitude, thoroughness, (appropriate/advantageous) aggressiveness, and expediency are traits I sought and hoped for in a high-quality attorney. Those altogether make her an excellent lawyer. But what I did not expect to encounter in this relationship, what I truly appreciate and am most deeply impacted by - is her genuine integrity, humanity and compassion. From the beginning to the end, she listened to me, and considered me as an individual. She was attentive, receptive, caring, efficient, strategic and diligent. Particularly for my case, it was an alleviation and inspiration to have someone on my side who really saw me, and honored my convictions and motivations for pursuing my claim. Mike defended me against an unscrupulous landlord whose rent I paid on time... but for whom that was not enough. The landlord decided he was entitled to intimacy from me, and the usual dark events occurred. Few Santa Barbara attorneys (most of whom are landlords themselves) respond to this type of situation. I'm glad I retained Mr. Brelje. He stood for me unusually strongly and effectively against this cunning, unscrupulous straw-hatted elderly lecherous landlord and his lawyer, and protected me, and on top of that got me an unexpected and sizable settlement.
Mike Brelje is confident, knowledgeable about the law and other subjects, and thorough; he's a smart, bright young advocate and JD star who knows T/LL law in and out, sides with his client, and upholds the law exceptionally fearlessly.

Greg McMurray was a great find! A lawyer with impeccable credentials, known and respected by local lawyers and judges, with an approachable communication style that puts the client at ease while still conveying all the important information, extremely knowledgeable about the law, and experienced in how best to advocate for his clients. Mr. McMurray was my lawyer back in December of 2010 when I was arrested by the SB County Sheriff's department. I won't go into details, but I was in serious trouble and looking at some time behind bars.
In short I began to turn my life around I got myself into some local programs to deal with my personal problems. Taking Mr. McMurray's advice I worked hard to improve my situation. Mr. McMurray was truthful and helpful through the entire process, including giving me a payment plan option which helped a lot. Because legal trouble can be expensive outside of hiring a lawyer. He went to bat for me with the DA and the Judge because I fulfilled my promise to keep myself on track. I ended up avoiding jail time all together and I haven't looked back since. Alcohol was a part of my story and I've been sober ever since in part due to Mr. McMurray and his work on my behalf. Simply put he was my advocate and he helped me present my case as someone who needed help, got it and then as someone who needed a chance to make good and I can happily say he got me a second chance.

I am a college student with a cramped/hectic schedule, little prior knowledge of the personal claims system, and a personal claims case that was far more than I could ever manage alone. Mrs. Nordstrand and her associates were not only pleasant to work with but hard working and extremely helpful!
I contacted a different attorney (that will remain unnamed) before contacting Mrs. Nordstrand and was met with a hostility that evoked anxiety with every phone call. Bradford Brown did a wonderful job on my case. I was in a really bad boating accident and had lots of medical bills. The accident happened right after I had been laid off and so I couldn't work right away. I was in bad physical and financial shape.
I met Brad after interviewing 3 or 4 other lawyers and I had the most positive intuition about him and his team. I inquired around Santa Barbara and heard good things as well. Brad did a great job negotiating the case. He brought in other lawyers for leverage as well as a great mediator.
The staff at Brad's office are always well organized very, responsive and always very positive and upbeat.

I highly recommend Drury Pullen a Professional Law Corporation for family law representation. My child custody and divorce case spanned over a year given its complexity. At the beginning, I had the opportunity to work briefly with Jennifer Drury but later I extensively worked with Susanna Pullen. Both attorneys were responsive, compassionate and professional.
Susanna is proficient in many areas as an attorney but the areas I was most impressed with as a client were Susanna’s ability to: 1) assimilate information quickly and respond effectively, 2) write a clear and convincing brief, and 3) prepare and craft questions for witnesses.
Susanna demonstrated over and over her keen ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure at court hearings and at trial. Susanna’s ability to absorb new information and assimilate it with old information was very impressive. For example, during a trial lunch break, Susanna quickly processed newly submitted doctor’s notes and evaluations. Susanna came back to court and was able to use the information to ask discerning questions of subsequent witnesses and to integrate the new information into her summation.
From the beginning, Susanna’s extensive knowledge of family law was clearly reflected within the briefs she submitted to the court. Her briefs were well written and conveyed strong convincing arguments for the outcomes we were seeking. Susanna took care to accurately reference and cite important points as the case progressed.
Susanna was also outstanding at thinking on her feet in the court room during the cross examination of witnesses. Before trial, Susanna took the time to understand who the witnesses were and what they might testify. Susanna’s preparation laid a solid foundation for the thoughtful questions she asked witnesses. Susanna however was not constrained by the questions she prepared. Susanna actively listened to the answers of witnesses and in multiple instances she asked important follow-up questions in response to what witnesses had just testified.
Throughout the year-long process, Susanna didn’t promise any specific court outcome. Instead, Susanna provided honest, upfront, and realistic feedback throughout the ongoing child custody and divorce process so that I was able to manage my expectations appropriately. The child custody and divorce process was arduous and required my active collaboration and participation. I really appreciated Susanna Pullen’s expertise and I highly recommend her as a family law attorney.

There is no way this guy has this good of a track record and such great reviews. Basically worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. Told me he would do the best he can to get rid of my bogus charges..but literally just lied ..took my money and did no work whatsoever. Actually seemed like he was more working in favor of the DA and criminal defense.
