At first Seth Mann seems like he is going to take care of everything. I trusted him to handle my dad’s estate through probate. After our initial meeting, I never heard from Mr. Mann. All my dealings were with his law clerk Richard. 2 of my family members reached out by email and phone to ask some questions. Richard said Mr. Mann would contact them back, but he never did! My brother asked by email a question about contesting a will. After that email to Mr. Mann, I received a phone call from Richard, that Seth Mann does not handle any wills that may be contested and he is giving me back the packet. I was upset that I was never told this in the beginning. Plus my brother was asking a question. He had no intention of contesting our dad’s will. Seth Mann had my dad’s will and all the information for 4 1/2 months. From September2023 to February 2024. I asked Richard what work was done on my dad’s case? I was told nothing because I didn’t sign any agreement to retain Mr. Mann as the attorney, nor did I pay a retainer fee. Why would I give them all the paperwork if they were not hired? Plus their was no retainer fee. The lawyer get 3% after the will goes through probate! So Mr. Mann did nothing to help my dad or my family settle his estate! After my experience, I could never suggest anyone use this lawyer! He wasted our time! I was told it would take 9-12 months. We thought we were 1/2 way there , to learn we are starting from scratch!

Would absolutely NOT hire this firm (Bridgette Domingos’s). Breached her contract one week prior to first hearing without notice and after being solicited by another attorney for hire. Lack of communication during entire three month period and after requesting communication, Bridgette herself stated “one week is an average response time” for an attorney. A formal complaint to the Florida Bar has been done as Bridgette has refused to return any monies paid ($10,000.00) stating she “charges that for bond hearings”. ALL THE ABOVE IS IN WRITING (emails and texts). If you want representation throughout your process DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!

THE OWNER LIED LOOK AT THE PICS Used Jeremy S for a case where 2 days after the case was over he was pulled from the firm due to being sick and not being able to represent. We called to talk with the firm 8 times and no call back they have no communication will take your money and never call you back
3/13/24 edit in response to the owner saying “Jeremy was not pulled” one thing the owner doesn’t realize is we referred a client who called us 2 days after my court date to ask why Jeremy was no longer working on her case then she informed us he was pulled from the firm for being sick …. Aggressive is an understatement your attorney could not walk stairs and couldn’t breathe and barely stand in court….

I have called up multiple times all I ask is for communication on your side which I have gotten none and then you just attacked me saying that I’m unhappy with the results that’s not why I’m reaching out, so please contact me for the ninth time so I can communicate with you. My time is even more expensive than Jeremy’s time, so I’m about to start billing you for how many times that I’ve tried to reach out

If I could rate a 0 I would. That is what he did for me; 0. This attorney quoted me a $4000 retainer in 11/22 and reeled me into an alimony modification case against my ex-wife. He was supposed to represent me, and actually after $12,000 I paid him over the $4,000 he quoted me. I still had not trial set, this money was charged tome for me to submit my financials to his paralegal. He submitted no motions to compel against my ex-wife who did not submit he proper affidavits and paperwork, but charged me for 2 motions to compel he never filed. We finally went to court a year later and $22,000 later. He misrepresented me and I was ordered to pay my ex-wife's attorney $11,000 fees on top of the $22,000 I already paid him for a total of $33,000 that has forced me into bankruptcy. Then he emails me and says I am no longer practicing law, you will have to find another attorney. Leaving me to hold all the debt he put me into and received no representation for. Stay away!

Mr. Edward (Ed) Horan was hired to fight for the protection of our daughter. Mr. Horan explained the challenges to us, by not being blood relatives, but nonetheless, he put his heart, experience, tenacity and his love for the protection of our daughter and he never gave up. Thanks to Mr. Horan and God, we WON the case. Mr. Horan always sent us detailed invoices that explained the work he completed. My husband and I recommend him to anyone who needs a great, honorable lawyer. In the court room, he is respectful to the judges and other attorneys. He is very known in the leon county courthouse and seems to be respected. He does his homework and KNOWS the right angles and questions to ask whoever is on the stand. I hired ed about 4 years ago, let's just say everything he had told me went out the window once we went to mediation. I ended up with a horrible agreement that had multiple mistakes in it that the other party used to their advantage. His only advice was for me to hope they didn't notice. I know better now, but was much to trusting back then.

We think Ellen and her team (Lyn and Maggie) are terrific. She did our placement and was our lawyer for an out-of-state adoption (we're the adoptive parents), and we felt well informed and well advocated-for every step of the way. She cares a lot about her work, and she's clearly a zealous advocate for her clients, which we appreciated when the hospital where our child was born tried to give us the runaround on some insurance stuff--Ellen stepped in and took care of business. And she gets to the point, which we appreciated. Given our experience, her fees are entirely reasonable. We intend to adopt again and definitely will sign up with her for it.

Just a few weeks ago, we traveled to Florida for an adoption. Ms. Kaplan and her entire office were amazing from the very beginning! Caryn is intelligent, ethical, intuitive, patient, compassionate, constructive, quick witted, professional, ingenious and I can probably keep going but one thing I appreciated was her transparency with me. I had a high conflict divorce/custody case and I did not feel it would be over as fast as it was but to my surprise we were able to fully settle at mediation with a desirable result. Caryn was quick to notice important details, was outstanding in her communication with opposing counsel and I felt completely safe trusting her judgment. I'm impressed by her integrity and perseverance. I have looked into a few attorneys but my gut told me Caryn was the one and I'm so glad I listened, I feel like this experience may have been a lot messier without her representation. I had a highly disappointing experience with Edward Galante as my attorney. Throughout my case, there was a consistent lack of communication and responsiveness. Critical questions about my legal matters went unanswered, and I often felt sidelined and ignored. His approach seemed more focused on closing the case quickly rather than addressing the issues at hand, leading to unresolved discrepancies and unnecessary frustration. I would not recommend his services if you are looking for an attorney who provides clear guidance, timely communication, and dedicated attention to your case.

Mr. Galante and Abby were very compassionate, patient and helpful in my divorce. They understood my angle of wanting to offer reconciliation first and were willing to try my ideas while offering very sound advice and experience. They answered all of my questions, even the silly ones, with patience and care. They answered when I called or got back to me asap. They also continued to encourage me through the divorce when my ex-wife had rejected reconciliation and they had made the rest of the process smooth and in the best interest of both parties. My wife and I worked with Jennifer Meister on a family law matter. The issue involved a parenting plan, and the case was brought on by our son's biological father.
Jennifer is a smart and competent woman. However she is also distracted and made it clear that we were not her priority, except when it came to billing us. Jennifer conducted a marketing photoshoot during my wife's zoom mediation, meaning she was distracted and not present for much of the mediation. This mediation was covering our son's parenting agreement with his biological father, and it was the most important thing in the world to us. Clearly it was not that important to Jennifer.
During the mediation, Jennifer actually attempted to tank the mediation and told my wife it's not going to work out very early on, which per my wife was in no way the situation. We believe she did that so that we would have to move to a court case, which would continue to rack up bills. My wife was able to save it and reach an agreed upon parenting agreement thankfully, although a second mediation needed to be scheduled because Jennifer had to leave the first before it could be finalized to watch her child (which I would understand, except for the fact that she was absent for much of it doing a photoshoot, which is beyond ridiculous, and the plan could have been wrapped up in one mediation if she had actually set that time aside in her calendar). The second mediation racked the bills up further.
Since reaching that parenting agreement (which we had paid approximately $10,000 to Jennifer to reach it), we have now been charged another $6k just to recalculate child support. Every two weeks her firm sends us another retainer for $4,500, when at this point it is very minor work left over. It looks like we are going to be charged $10k for them to work through a financial affidavit and calculate child support per normal guidelines. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? They also charge us a minimum of $35 for every email sent, even if it's two sentences, and for a 10 minute phone call expect to pay close to $100. Jennifer even charged us $350 for legal research about changing a minor’s name. She’s a family law attorney and she’s charging us to research family law?? Should we pay for her law school also?
In addition to Jennifer’s ridiculous billing and complete lack of caring, she also appeared to change her mind frequently on best strategic course of action. She strongly discouraged us from getting GAL involved early on and said it will cost us a lot of money. Then 2 days before the mediation she said we should just cancel the mediation and get GAL involved. We were very confused and decided to keep the mediation, but we now realize it was because the mediation conflicted with her marketing photoshoot.
Jennifer is money hungry and does not care about you. If you are not extremely wealthy, steer clear. We fired Jennifer before finalizing child support because she is terrible. We would not have been able to finalize the parenting plan at all if we hadn’t put forth countless hours of work on our own. She certainly didn’t get it done for us.

I hired Cynthia for a child custody case. On the positive side she always responded to my concerns and provided time for my questions. On the negative side I felt that she was just trying to get my case off of her caseload in the fastest way possible by settling. I did not feel that she was willing to fight for my side, as I would expect my lawyer to do.

I was referred to Ms. Pierce from another law firm. Ms. Pierce was kind enough to spend FREE time in talking about my case even via email. I don't want to clog up her client list, but she's a rare find. I was trying contest my father's will after he died and after I had already texted him some horrible things about him as a father and dead beat dad. Ms. Pierce advised me well and was straightforward about it all. Although I don't have a chance in heck to fight my father's will, I'm glad she took the time to be straight with me. If I had a case that was somewhat worthy or if my father had diminished capacity, then I believe she would have worked with me pro bono and given me even more great advice!

Ms. Glocker Pierce is not a person you want to have to meet, that is not to say she is not a pleasant person, cause she is, but frankly no one wants to have to contact a lawyer. However if/when life puts you in situations where a lawyer is needed Julie is a person you should contact.
I consulted with 4 other attorneys across two counties prior to having my consultation with Ms. Glocker Pierce and I knew with in the first 90 seconds of our conversation that I would be securing her services. Every other attorney I spoke with made promises about what they "would win" for me without even hearing my situation. Julie's approach was much different, she listened to the details, laid out a plan, asked me to implement my part of that plan and then did her part to secure the best out come.
Over the course of 2-3 years of using Julie's services she was always direct, provided only what I needed to know, reached out to me only when there was something I needed do, which is not to say that I felt rushed or not a priority, it was exclusively because she was trying to keep costs down for me.
My only regret in with working with Julie, was not doing exactly what she said to do, had I followed her advice I am confident I would have had less expense, time in court and the very minor portion of the rulings that did not go in my favor would have.
There were times hearing what Julie had to say was not easy and not what I wanted to hear, but that's what an attorney is paid to do right? A good lawyer should tell you what you need to hear not what you want to hear and Julie Glocker Pierce is exactly that, a VERY good lawyer.

Make sure your uncontested status will not change. Mine did and Mr. Grossman just sent me a list of other attorneys to contact. My $2000 retainer was forfeited as per his CONTRACT is NONREFUNDABLE!! I messaged him about a possible partial refund or credit towards his mediation services and he never even responded to me. Lesson learned, read the contract and DONT TRUST ANYONE to be upstanding. He received $2000 for doing ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!!!

DO NOT HIRE ADKINS FAMILY LAW! I was told everything I wanted to hear to be helped with my child support/ visitation case only to have my case notes updated. I Was only given the excuse that she did not have time for my case and good luck finding another attorney after paying $1300, a few emails and 30 min virtual mediation, had this been told to me from the start, I would have used my $1300 elsewhere. if there was 0 stars thats what I would use. Charged an excessive amount, showed up to the hearing unprepared, didn’t even know what the hearing was for, then said well I don’t know! The judge said I would have been better off by myself than to have hired her. When I bring up my concerns after the hearing and requested a partial refund of the 6,500 that she had received. She became extremely unprofessional and emotional making threats and continuing with the lies. She even requested that I pay another 6,000 so she could do what should have been done in the first place. She says all the right things, because she is a conartist playing attorney. My advice would be never use this firm for anything other than to refer them to your worst enemy.
