Was very thrilled to read the outstanding reviews. Helping a friend of mine I began calling around & I reached out. I was shocked when they told me ( within the 1st 60 seconds) $500 for a consultation and a $20k retainer fee upfront before accepting any type of child custody or parental rights case. Such a shame the kids in moderate to low income situations will never have the benefit of representation from such a great law firm. One more thing money CAN buy; your child's rights.

While I understand the message of " you get what you pay for " that you are trying to convey, that message has no bearing on my original review or interaction with this firm. In fact, I feel like this response just confirms my original statement.
Once the well rehearsed statement of upfront fees was given ( the next statement after the greeting ) perhaps a mention of how to find affordable options, self help libraries or alternative resources available for families in need would have made me feel like that paragraph you wrote about giving back to the community ( for reasons outside of gain) would be true and this review wouldn't exist.
I would like to remind you I still give credit to the talent in this firm. I called here for a reason. Reviews are about experiences you have with the location or business & this was mine. I am not the only one who has experienced this. I hope sharing my experience may give us all a voice and, in a perfect world, make a small change for the better.

I hired Mrs Cardena in 2018 to help me with a child support cause. I am a divorced woman with two children and I raised my children five years ago at $ 300 a month and hired her to help me do justice. I was paid Her $ 2000, the only reservation I had in hopes of a better days. My process took two years with a lot of disrespect, She never answered my calls or emails, She have no responsibility to her schedules, the only time She went to court with me, I was not aware of my case. Anyway, this same day I decided to close my case with $ 500 a month, because my mental strain made me a migraine. Here is my warning: if you Want to have migraine hires Lorena Cardama.

He got me out of a VOP - during the pandemic! Which meant it was more difficult and took longer, - another month - because of courts closing and drastically having to switch from county to county. But he fought for me! Assured me of a successful plea. And can tell from the way he talked to me on the phone that he is real nice, passionate and cares very much to win your case.

Gena has a "win it all" mentality, which is good unless you have nothing you're trying to win other than a fair settlement. If you have a simple case, Gena is gonna blow it out of proportions and cost you thousands more than what's needed. Even the judge during the child custody case said Gena needs to figure this case out because she is dragging it on too long for 2 young individuals that do not have much to their names

An absolute amazing man and a wonderful staff to match. I didn't know how to use technology when he helped me in my time of need. So this is a few years after the matter. My husband had just passed away and I found out the insurance company didn't want to pay up. My sister referred me to this angel. He got me my husband's policy I was owed. It was a hard time for me and I didn't know how to deal with this part and i was crying uncontrollably . He was so professional, yet an understanding human. He told me to ake all the time I needed, because the thought of signing these papers seemed so final on his death, that it was a realization to me that he was really never going to come back to me. It's going to be 8 years on the 24th of February. Not a day goes by that I remember the kindness that he and his staff gave me, as this was and still is the first REAL loss (close to me), that I've experienced. THE OWNER LIED LOOK AT THE PICS Used Jeremy S for a case where 2 days after the case was over he was pulled from the firm due to being sick and not being able to represent. We called to talk with the firm 8 times and no call back they have no communication will take your money and never call you back
3/13/24 edit in response to the owner saying “Jeremy was not pulled” one thing the owner doesn’t realize is we referred a client who called us 2 days after my court date to ask why Jeremy was no longer working on her case then she informed us he was pulled from the firm for being sick …. Aggressive is an understatement your attorney could not walk stairs and couldn’t breathe and barely stand in court….
