Sean McQuaid is an excellent attorney. From the very beginning, he took the time to explain the various options available, including the pros and cons of each. He provided a roadmap for me based on the particulars of my case combined with his broad experience as an attorney handling DUI defense cases. Sean handled all court appearances without me needing to be present. He explained what to expect at each step in the process. His office communication and electronic file storage system are genuine assets. As a client, I was able to upload and view my case documents. His website makes the misrepresentation that it is a free evaluation which makes people believe an attorney will be evaluating the case. They charged me $150 for a telephone consultation but claimed it was for a telephone evaluation (Misleading. I never received a valuation I only gave info. and schedule the telephone consult). Then the attorney Joseph told me that he would refund any unused retainer funds during the telephone conversation but when I got the retainer agreement, it stated NON-REFUNDABLE retainer of $12,000+ and that the money was earned upon receipt. When I asked him to remove the NON-REFUNDABLE term from the retainer, he refused and declined to represent me. It is my opinion from my initial dealings with him that he was not honest with me. And that he and his firm are very much aware that people are being misled to believe the term "schedule your free evaluation" is a "free consultation" by an attorney but they play on those words to get people to call the firm then they do a BAIT-N-SWITCH. Response to Reply Below I appreciate the immediate response. But the reply does not negate the true facts above. Nevertheless, as of today Oct. 13, 2023, I did NOT receive a refund of my $4,850.00 the reply claims was refunded.

I hired Mrs Cardena in 2018 to help me with a child support cause. I am a divorced woman with two children and I raised my children five years ago at $ 300 a month and hired her to help me do justice. I was paid Her $ 2000, the only reservation I had in hopes of a better days. My process took two years with a lot of disrespect, She never answered my calls or emails, She have no responsibility to her schedules, the only time She went to court with me, I was not aware of my case. Anyway, this same day I decided to close my case with $ 500 a month, because my mental strain made me a migraine. Here is my warning: if you Want to have migraine hires Lorena Cardama.

I hired Lorena to be my lawyer for modification of child support and majority of custody of my kids. Although it has been 10 long months and my case is not over, I wanted to write this review to show my appreciation. She is working so hard on my case. My family and I were involved in a somewhat horrid case with my wife's ex. Mr. Jamieson and his staff were simply outstanding. They were honest, realistic, and always had the ability to calm our nerves when they were most frazzled. There was simply nothing that they were not forthcoming about. Moreover, they always provided us all of the information that we needed in the most timely manner imaginable. Their service was first class. Because we were out-of-town clients, they were willing to work with us over phone and on weekends when we could get into town. He suggested expert witnesses that truly helped our case. He also cared about the welfare of our child above all else. He also respected us, our opinions, and our needs. This was a non-traditional case, so his expertise was absolutely essential. He understood the need of our daughter, developmentally and otherwise. He also understood how to build a very complex case that demonstrated that justice was on our side. Rather than reducing a complex case to the "standard," he and his staff fought hard for us. Here is the best part: We won everything. His knowledge of case law, use of experts, and professionalism far exceeded that of opposing council. The truth of the matter is that he was simply better prepared and that the cost of that was worth the quality. He provided us with advice that we did not necessarily like and asked us to spend money on the places that were worth it. And the results were worth it! Really nice to have an honest, results-oriented attorney who treated our problem with the seriousness that it deserves! We will continue to use him and HIGHLY recommend him and his practice. His ability to demonstrate that an unconventional case deserved an unconventional judgement truly sold me (and the judge) on the quality of his practice. He has impacted our lives so much to the positive, I'd give him 6 stars if I could. Thank you!!!!!

I owe my peace to Mr. Jamieson. He masterfully crafted a Marital Settlement Agreement for me. This legal document served as a catalyst in opening the gates to real communication with my husband. I honestly don’t know where our paths may lead, but I do know I owe the progress we have made to the flawless implementation of the Collaborative Divorce principles Mr. Jamieson provided. His vast knowledge and experience in what is a relatively new approach are priceless. What would have cost me far more money, time and grief, resulted in an unexpectedly positive outcome – bonus! Linda was an excellent attorney and I presented her with a challenging divorce case to the likes of which she had only tried once before in her career. Needless to say she won. She has the highest credentials an attorney can reach on the Martindale rating system. Her tactic of choice is "if we cant win this, were gonna get creative". Her team of paralegals who work with you in tandem to Linda will keep you in the loop and guide you through everything. An aggressive attorney who will win. Don't listen to Patrick McKenna. Someone went in unprepared.

I used Kevin back in 2004 for an accident case out of Sarasota County. The trial in case took quite a while but that’s expected. Kevin was absolutely amazing and did an in-depth thorough job. He kept me updated all along the way and it all paid off in the end, literally, I highly recommend Kevin Woods for any type of Cases that he practices. I really don’t think you could find a better attorney anywhere around in Southwest Florida, including Morgan and Morgan. What can I say about Jenna and her team? Nothing but the best. We had a very long and exhausting adoption case and we were losing hope that our adoption would fail. Florida adoption laws were very confusing. The adoption entity was extremely pushy and rude and flat out unprofessional. Thankfully Jenna went above and beyond to fight for us and explained everything in detail. Jenna has a strong passion for helping others and doesn't do it for the money. I am currently having to work with this firm with my late grandmother's trust. The only thing I can say is RUN. The billable is around 500 a hour, and the paperwork will be riddled with mistakes. I have personally delivered important information to their office directly, and it was still wrong on the final draft. Hire this firm if you like talking to paralegals and receptionists just to have your "lawyer" skim it and send it. Take your money to someone who cares, not these people.

Mr. Wood is a very kind man yet seemed more interested in his personal life than taking accurate notes for my social investigation case, which showed in his report, $3,000 dollars later. He was habitually late to every appointment, he lied to the court stating he works by himself, however, his wife works right by his side and was rude to me via email. The interviews aren’t recorded so the court relies solely on his word. As I stated he’s kind but it may be time for him to retire. If assigned by a Judge ask for a different social investigator.
