I hired Lewis & Jurnovoy after having them recommended by a family member who had used them 20 years ago. Between a forced career change due to covid and going through a divorce at the same time I had developed a terrible financial situation and had become overwhelmed with debt. Mr. Lewis and Mr. Jurnovoy made my bankruptcy quick and painless. They explained exactly how everything would work, how long it would take, and how much it would cost at the very first meeting. They made sure the entire process was very smooth and painless. Even after ever my 341 meeting they stuck by my side incase I had anymore issues with creditors or collection agencies trying to come after me. If you are considering bankruptcy, call these guys. Throughout the process of my bankruptcy case, Mr. Lewis was very responsive and caring. He led me through the process without ever making me feel rushed or insignificant. In fact, Mr. Lewis did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable, that all of my questions were answered, and that I was well aware of what I needed to do and the next steps. His office was responsive when I needed to follow-up with additional documents or had questions. Mr. Lewis was very professional without being "cold" and uncaring. Did you ever meet with a lawyer that gave you the shortest answers and minimum time, and when you left his office you felt even more confused? Well this is not the case with David. I had three very bad experiences with previous lawyers. I did a lot of research before I called Sam. Key to me calling him was the content of the other reviews found here. As it turns out I didn't actually retain his services--in large part due to the fact that he was honest and forthright enough to explain that his area of comfort and expertise was actually not what I needed. He spoke to me for a significant amount of time over the phone while extremely ill. He called a peer to refer me to and actually called me back with that information just like he said he would. Even though I didn't actually hire him I would highly recommend him. He was extremely personal, respectful, compassionate and H.O.N.E.S.T. And as a complete laginappe--he's from Mississippi. Mr. Garris's price and quality of service cannot be beat. I talked to a lot of attorneys who wanted almost $2000, but I paid Kevin Garris $997. If you are in need of an attorney, consider the McCue Law Firm. You will get a highly educated, experienced husband wife team and a super staff behind them. I cannot tell you how dismayed we were with the other attorneys we interviewed, but once I sat down and spoke to Lisa McCue, she explained everything, told us the procedure, and pretty much assured us everything would be just fine. Their staff answered all questions immediately and everything just went off perfectly. THANK YOU GUYS!

I knew from my consultation with Lisa McCue that my worries would soon be over. I had a consultation with another attorney who told me that I could only qualify for a Chapter 13 (and he didn't even look at any of my paperwork) and that I should try negotiating with my creditors. That didn't work out so well. I decided to see another attorney and found the McCue Law Firm. I was there for about an hour and did not feel rushed or felt like I was asking too many questions. I felt relieved when I left and I hadn't even started the paperwork yet. I had many questions during the process of collecting all of the documentation needed for my case. I had so many questions and Carol, the paralegal working on my case, was so very helpful. She returned my phone calls, sometimes as late as 6PM and always made me feel reassured and was always professional. She answered every email I sent and addressed all of my concerns. She is truly an asset to the firm. Sonya was also very friendly whenever I called their office. On the day of my hearing, Mr. McCue was prompt and we went over one or two things before heading in for my hearing. I was very nervous but he was also very reassuring and again, professional, not to mention personable and easy to talk and relate to. Making the decision to file bankruptcy was a difficult one but this team is outstanding. I felt ashamed and embarrassed but the McCue's told me all of the reasons that I should not be and they were right. I am more than pleased with the quality of representation I received. Aside from that, it is my impression that this law office is not out to nickel and dime its clients, rather, they practice this type of law to help those of us in need and do a fantastic job. I am thankful that now I can move on with my life and financially get back on my feet.

Highly Recommend! I've hired Malinda to resolve a pending foreclosure by filing bankruptcy in hopes of ultimately getting a settlement resolution with the lender. Atty Gomez and his staff understand the confusing Federal Bankruptcy System and walked us through a complex Chapter 11. We not only were handling a five-year bankruptcy plan; a problem with an erroneous property title; but also a five-year IRS audit simultaneously. From my viewpoint, it was very overwhelming but from theirs, it was easy. Because Atty. Gomez and his staff does this "every day", they just walked us from one step to the next. Eventually it unraveled. The IRS Audit is over, the property title handled, and we are fortunately on our last steps as this is the end of our five-year-plan. There is really light at the end of that dark tunnel. We are very close to having only the daily schedule of work and family again. Our personal recommendation is to work closely with Atty Gomez and Andrea, help your spouse get through this with full support and no blame on either side, and you will get through this with a closer happier marriage like we have.

We were involved in prolonged Interstate litigation case. With the goal of protecting our corporate structure as well as protecting our shareholders personally, we hired Mr. Gomez to take us through a Chapter 11 . He provided the best legal advice we received over the 8 year long case. In less than a year the case was filed, the Chapter 11 was plan approved, all creditor payments were made and the case was closed. Prior to hiring Mr. Gomez we were considering walking away from the business and seeing where the cards would fall. Instead we have retained the ownership of a profitable business.
