We had a major investigation of our IDTF diagnostic facilities and one of our shareholders, a physician, faced board complaints in every state he was licensed in. It was grueling and extremely stressful. D’Arcy was recommended by another attorney and we are thankful we were able to retain her. She coordinated and oversaw all of the out of state matters that required local counsel, handled the federal matters including experts. She helped us resolve the case with minimal repercussions and managed to obtain dismissals on all of the board complaints. She was sensitive to our stress level and on one hand was extremely compassionate with us and on the other - relentless with the opposition. We now recommend her to everyone and use her for our compliance and litigation matters. She prevents us from unknowingly getting into trouble.

Ms. Downs-Vollbracht listened to me and helped me to navigate my way through some very difficult experiences of discrimination with my previous employer. I really felt like she genuinely cared about me and her advice kept me one step ahead of them.
She has subsequently assisted me with other matters, such as starting my own business, applying for PPP Loans during the pandemic, and purchasing my first home. Andrew was very professional and I received a nice settlement for a faulty vehicle wrap that was put on my business mobile unit that the installer claimed was done correctly. Andrew with his due diligence and determination proved beyond a doubt that the installer was at fault and in breech of contract. Buyer be ware! After visiting with a very close friend of mine regarding their Counsel, I encouraged this person to hire an exceptionally experienced and professional firm with a team that could serve their needs that wasn’t Jordan.
Jordan essentially went MIA around mid-November. Essentially, this friend of mine asked him a myriad of questions inquiring as to how things could be moved along expeditiously in order to close out their matter. No response for weeks on end.
Ironically enough, after he essentially ghosted said client, the client was presented with a bill a couple of days after reaching out to him - again, without any response to their email. After paying above and beyond the initial retainer he seemed to disappear.
As a matter of fact, he was quick quick quick to respond when new representation reached out to him (as in he responded within the same day)!
Lack of communication in this electronic age is unacceptable. I have encouraged this former client to contact the AZ Bar Association in order to recoup their financial losses with Jordan. He’s unprofessional at best. Moreover, he's running a one man show and he doesn’t have the resources to close things out quickly.
Please be certain that any person you hire to deal with a sensitive legal matter not only takes you seriously but be sure whomever you decide to work with has ownership interest in your situation and the staff to make that a reality. I find it appalling that Jordan didn’t have the chutzpah to face this client and admit that he didn’t have the resources to help them in a timely or appropriate fashion.

Where do I even begin.... I was actually referred to Mike Pettiti by another law firm when trying to inquire on the legality of a unilateral change to my company's existing PTO policy. Upon contacting the office of Aiken Schenk Hawkins & Ricciardi to speak with Mike, I was transferred to Erin Hertzog who I informed of the concern that I had with my company and if it in fact violated any Arizona employment laws. She was an absolute pleasure, very thorough, asked several questions and obtained details surrounding my situation to see what legal options, if any, I had moving forward.
A few days later, my employer found out that I had consulted with an attorney and subsequently, I was sent home from work and then terminated the following day. The 10 months that would follow my termination were an absolute nightmare. Murphy's Law, anything that could have gone wrong, did. I was a single mother facing being homeless after an eviction and repossession of my vehicle, all due to my loss of employment. In addition to my financial struggles, I was in the middle of a horrific legal matter in family court surrounding custody of my child. Erin was one of few silver linings that I had throughout this hard time in my life, an absolute Godsend!
Through the duration of my case, Erin and Mike went back and forth with claims through the EEOC for sexual harassment and gender discrimination and claims with the NLRB for wrongful termination and retaliation. This woman literally put in her blood, sweat, and tears into resolving my legal matters with my previous employer. She accommodated my schedule, making herself available in late evening hours, no email or phone call went without response. She worked around the clock to ensure that my questions were answered and I was informed and updated on the progress of my case.
Nearly 10 months later, to the day, I am happy to say that Erin and her Firm were able to reach a settlement with my previous employer and I can finally put all this behind me. I pray that I never find myself in a similar situation with a future employer but, if I do, I can rest assured that I will be in good hands with Erin Hertzog and the staff at Aiken Schenk Hawkins & Ricciardi. She is an absolutely amazing attorney and the integrity of both her and the Firm, far exceeded my expectations!

I selected this law firm solely based on convenience and lack of research, my fault. Their staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with; I will give them that. However, as my attorney, Brice was not a good fit for my case.
My case involved one minor child. The goal was to have the ability to move out of state with my child. Brice had ample information and time to prepare a rock solid case on my behalf. Well, he did not do that. He went into court very unprepared, had a very sloppy and weak cross examination. He failed to mention very pertinent details involving my child and her father. Didn’t highlight the benefits for the move. I could go on and on, but ultimately I was highly disappointed with Brice’s service and out 30k. Do your research before selecting any firm!

I first heard Mat Sorensen do an IRA LLC web presentation on Youtube for a custodian company. I like what he had to say and how he said it, he was very clear and sounded very well informed on the issue. I don’t know why I didn’t just call him right away to see if he would help me form my IRA LLC, maybe because he was not in my state?..Maybe because I thought he would be too busy? to expensive???
I don’t know what my problem was but I called 5 different lawyers all who didn’t seem like they had the same level of expertise Mat did. As my frustration grew so did my courage. I finally figured... what did I have to lose? Just call the guy I heard on Youtube! So I did. WOW! He knocked my socks off even more on the phone. He answered all my hard questions about forming an IRA LLC while living abroad and didn’t need to go on and on trying to impress me with his knowledge like some of the other lawyers. His friendly, clear, concise answers spoke for themselves.
After I decided to go with Mat and KKOS I have been unbelievably happy with their level of service. The entire team is sweet, friendly, educated and helpful. They ALL seem like they know me when I call and always treat me with kindness and respect. Mat will even joke with me, a total stranger! He has a great sense of humor and not to busy for a quick reply to say thanks. He is humble, funny and generous. Not at all what I expected to be honest. :)
The clarity of his instructions while setting up the IRA LLC was unparalleled. He would send me emails as to what he and his team would do and what I would need to do. Every time I came to a stumbling block I would call the team and instantly they would help me overcome the hurdle. Even when I reached out to Mat he helped me while not making me feel stupid for asking silly questions.
Well, I could go on and on but I will not. Suffice it to say Mat and his team are GREAT and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to form an IRA LLC regardless of which state you live in.

The death of my mother was very hard in many ways, but the loss of my stepfather/ Dad of 30yrs was devastating to say the least. I truly thought nothing could be worse. Then my step siblings and his ex-wife decided to try to make me and my nephew into thief's and horrible people.
I never would have believed that the court's would have allowed this whole thing to go as far as it did. Allegations and blatant lies, not proof, but it did.
If it hadn't been for Davis and Doug I honestly think they might have gotten away with it, since I'm a step daughter, FYI: Stepdaughter I found to be something of a "bad thing" automatically.
Thank you for listening and fighting for us. Thank you for not allowing my dad to be misrepresented as well, even though that was a byproduct, I know he would be thankful as well.

After speaking with a number one estate planning lawyers I decided to hire Whitney Sorrel in large part based on his ability to communicate clearly. By "clearly" I mean he was able to explain exactly what he would be doing and the purpose of completing an estate plan.
What followed was even better. He listened to what I wanted while at the same time challenging me, in a very positive way, as to the wisdom of my choices. In the end, the final document represents my wishes while protecting assets and future finances.
In addition, his personal style direct yet friendly fit perfectly with the way I prefer to do things. I would recommend Mr. Sorrel very highly.

Victoria is the “go to” lawyer if you’re having a problem with the IRS. Her experience and tax law knowledge were essential to our unique business/personal tax case. She negotiated a large reduction, installment agreements, Offers in Compromise, tax penalty abatements and many related difficulties. Our complex tax case was not solved overnight, but with Victoria's guidance we achieved the best possible outcome. I would recommend her to anyone having problems with the IRS.

Although I did not retain Marcos as council he was very helpful in regards to pointing me in the right direction and where to start in filing a case myself. So I was locked up on a trumped up charge for DUI and indecent exposure. Mr. Curry was able to get the indecent exposure charge dropped when a convenience store camera he subpoenaed showed that my genitalia was not exposed. Furthermore, he was able to get the DUI charge reduced to a 6 month suspended sentence since there were no credible witnesses or evidence proving I was driving over the curb.
