The level of appreciation I have for Jenn McCabe and her team of associates is hard to put into words. The court system could really be described as a foreign land. One that is unfamiliar and structured in such a way that it’s almost impossible to navigate on your own. So if you find yourself having to enter into this system with a deeply emotional or traumatic situation on hand the pressure to have a wider perspective on how that system works is essential! That’s where Jenn McCabe came in and completely changed the trajectory of my case the moment she took it on.
She goes above and beyond to do whatever she needs to do to give you the best fighting chance in court. Before I had Jenn I had so much anxiety entering the court room. After having her as my advocate she represented me in court better then I could have ever done and I finally got the justice I deserved. As homeowners, we worked with Sean for nearly three years while he tirelessly represented us in a construction matter that left our home and property damaged, and a portion of it unusable. Richard Barron was recommended to us by a friend and we could not have picked a better attorney. He helped with our daughter’s estate after she passed away suddenly. Very understanding and knowledgeable. What was a very difficult time for us he minimized it as much as possible. He communicated in a way that we would understand and was very attentive. What could have taken 2-3 years of court dates and such ended in about 1 ½ years. With all that said I would recommend him (and have) to others.

Craig Byrnes is incredible. I found Craig after I sought legal representation after my employer presented me with a difficult situation. He was so responsive, knowledgeable, and clear in his approach to protect my interests. Craig is adept at filtering out ethical or emotional issues from legal issues, and does not waste time on futile matters. He is extremely efficient and does not sugarcoat anything. He is great at client management too, keeping me focused on the task at hand and talking sense into me when needed.
Craig was able to reach an amicable resolution with my employer to end the situation gracefully and rationally. I don't know if anyone has referred to their attorney as a knight in shining armor, but he is definitely that. I highly recommend him to anyone - you want him on your side.

Mr. Byrnes served me twice. I first met him when searching for an employment lawyer because I wanted a contract if I was to leave my job to go help prospective employer with their business. I was leaving a highly paid job and wanted both sides to be clear as to what we agreed to. Once the contract was signed and I resigned my other job, my employer refused to pay me what was agreed to in the contract. Mr. Byrnes provided excellent advice throughout the whole mess, was strategic in his approach, and was far more knowledgeable that some of the lawyers the employer hired (employer went through about 3 lawyers before finally settling). Mr. Byrnes got me a big settlement. I cannot say enough positive things about Mr. Byrnes. His professionalism is outstanding. He prepared for the case so thoroughly that no matter what opposing lawyers might throw at us, he always responded with facts and law, so they stopped arguing with him. I wouldn't want to have to be on the other side in a case he was involved with. He always told me the truth, explained the law and how judges were ruling on various points, and he listened to my concerns with great sensitivity. Anyone who has an employment law issue can do no better than turning to Craig Byrnes. Ultimately, he stood strong for me and obtained a big settlement for me.

This guy guenually wants to help his clients. After a extended vacation I came home to find my business had been served and missed the court date due to my absence. This guy was amazing in a short hour session. He gave me all the knowledge and told me exactly what to do in order for a retrial. A short hour and a small amount of money saved me 10,000. He was honest knowledgeable and didn't seem in it just for the money.

Yes, I can be a bit dramatic, but let me say it again, WoW! I liked his picture and "ready for a courtroom showdown" so gave him a cold call. He was the most gracious, well mannered attorney I've spoken to. I'm a Paralegal and have a pending probate case so that says a lot! Aside from his excellent manner and professionalism, the guy knows his stuff. I have been through five (thought it was only 3:) probate attorneys for the last 9 years and Mr. Hankin gave me information that was pivotal to the success of my case; information that I should have already been told. I recently posted a review of this attorney but my review may have been premature, as we were not yet finished completing our exchanges. Since my earlier review Mr. Hankin wrote to me again. He shed tremendous light on the one pressing question that baffled me, and he did so in a professional manner.
My initial aim was to utilize his services in the Appellate Courts, but it appears my case lacks the "teeth" for a successful appeal. If that were not my unfortunate predicament I'd most assuredly hire Mr. Hankin. Sometimes the devil is in the details. He's a details oriented attorney who takes the time to explain matters to his clients and prospective clients.
I can't speak to other areas of his law practice, but for anything pertaining to California Trusts or Probate matters he's the "go-to" attorney!

Reid was fantastic and provided me with peace of mind. A person can't place a dollar value on that. His time and patience with me was outstanding. Lawyers have a known reputation that isn't always positive and Reid is positively the exception not the rule.

Stephen Hammers was a referral from another lawyer who could not represent my case, and I approached hiring Steve with some anxiety because I had always applied the skills of the referring lawyer over the past many years. I had no previous knowledge of Steve's work, and hoped that this referral was a solid recommendation. My matter was involved, and the case appeared to be risky. In fact, the referring lawyer (my long time friend) advised me that I stood little chance of prevailing. All that I knew was that I was in the right, and that a good lawyer might be able to prevail. Steve was cautious about giving me any hope at first, but he could see clear pathways to defeating the defendants. He applied his boundless energy to the intellect and resourcefulness that has made him such a superstar in Orange County, and we worked together in an efficient yet highly effective manner to hone the case. His persistence along certain lines of advice that at times were lost on me became invaluable to the direction that the case took, and we developed a momentum that was itself very effective for our success. While we spent time and effort on certain details, Steve never appeared to delay nor overstudy any point. We reside in New Jersey and had an issue with a California rehabilitation facility that refused to appropriately refund to us a large amount of money. Although the facility was horrible, we did not want to get into a lawsuit with them, we just wanted our refund. After having the misfortune of being involved in more than 3 unrelated lawsuits in the last 2 years, I retained Mr. Isherwood to handle my cases.
Mr. Isherwood is an outstanding multifaceted attorney with the ability to quickly understand complex cases already in progress and provide excellent clarity in communicating with his client.
This is not the first time I have had to retain an attorney, but it certainly is the first time I feel I retained an upstanding, highly skilled, responsive, and highly experienced attorney with excellent knowledge of relevant statutes and the ability to quickly respond and stand up to big-money law firms. Scott's ability really helped put my mind at ease.
I won the first 2 cases. As for the third case, it was initially mishandled by another lawyer who was ultimately removed from my case. I again contacted Mr. Isherwood to help understand and clean up the giant mess left behind by the former incompetent attorney as well as help avert a complete catastrophe in my life brought on by a crooked mortgage servicer.
In the courtroom I was amazed by Mr. Isherwood's lightning fast ability recall facts and quickly object to the opposing party. Also, in court he often recalled the facts about my case faster than I did and was able to use these facts to ultimately win my case against a larger lavishly-funded law firm.
They say "Litigation is not a poor-man's sport", fotunately Mr. Isherwood has continually demonstrated a knack for averting long, drawn out and potentially expensive litigation and getting straight to the point.
I have so far used Mr. Isherwood against a fraudulent "restraining order request" which he won, a fraudulent claim for defamation, in which I also prevailed, as well as litigation against a bad mortgage servicer for which he has continued to provide extremely valuable and helpful services that have helped avert multiple catastrophes instigated by much larger large firms and people with deep pockets.
