While we are in the process of appealing an EDD case, I am confident that the result will be what could have been expected by any attorney. It is a rushed situation and they are doing everything possible to help me. In fact, one staff member actually replied to me at almost 2 AM yesterday morning about a meeting I missed. I feel very fortunate to have had Michael as my lawyer during my contract review. I am a dermatologist in the area and needed a lawyer to help review my contract and make any changes. My wife and I are in our mid-forties and decided it was time to create a living will and trust. We researched a few options and attended two seminars to understand the scope of what we needed to know. Unfortunately, the attorneys running the seminars seemed to be more focused on volume rather than the quality of their service. So when a close friend referred us to Adam a few days later, I wasn’t tripping over myself to speak to another attorney, but I’m so glad I did. From the first phone call, I knew Adam would be able to help us. He was a great listener and very patient. We truly felt that Adam was completely focused on our needs and helped us craft a will and trust that was exactly what we wanted. He was easily available by phone and responded very quickly to emails as well. Adam Aparicio was an excellent choice for our will and estate planning and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I seriously goofed up a property transfer which resulted in the reassessment of the property taxes of my home. I literally went from paying $1500 a year to nearly $5000! Despite me missing several deadlines, Mr. Aparicio was able to secure a roll back of my tax value on my property when I thought all hope was lost. He was very generous with his time and didn't nickel and dime me for every call. He has a certain way about him, its very calming, and its nice to have someone do what they say they're going to do.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but my experience with Adam Aparicio Law Offices prompted me to spread the word. Finding a good lawyer is a daunting task, scarier than finding a good mechanic, or dealership, or dentist, or sushi restaurant. Your life is literally in this persons hands. I can't believe the Law Gods smiled on me when they dropped Mr. Aparicio into my lap. I was talking to a good friend about my problem with an insurance company. I had signed some documents without really understanding all of the fine print. I made a grave mistake and trusted the insurance agent when she explained what everything in the documents meant. Little did I know, that she had failed to mention some pretty important clauses that were to my great disadvantage. I spent sleepless nights once I realized my mistake. The mistake had cost me in the thousands of dollars, and in this economic climate, it was heartbreaking. My friend mentioned he knew of a good lawyer and this is where Mr. Aparicio came in. I was reluctant to call his offices at first, I was feeling apprehensive in trusting anyone, since I had been let down by my own insurance company just previously. I had that same fear people have when trying to choose a good doctor. You want the best. But my mind was put at ease once I walked in. His staff was courteous, his office intimate, and his handshake firm. I felt comfortable with him right away. I was highly impressed by his initiative. He read my documents thoroughly, he answered my questions, he brought his staff together and they started on a plan of attack. Things were getting done right away and I felt at ease about it. I felt confident about having good people behind me. Adam and his staff were there for me every step of the away. They were always a phone call away. Even after they were able to get the contract retracted and annulled. They still called to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with the results. Was I happy? My lord! They saved me thousands of dollars and they still call to ask if I'm satisfied? Wow! They don't make lawyers like this anymore. I highly recommend Adam Aparicio Law Offices. It feels good to know that If I ever have legal problems again, I have no problem knowing who to turn too. I just want to give a big thanks to Adam Aparicio and his staff. It was a magnificent honor knowing you were all on my side.

Although chronic pain can sometimes feel like a curse, mostly I feel lucky to be alive and grateful for the help I've received since i got a second chance at living. It's been my recent experience that Zinn Law and Co. Are the best in the Bay at handling personal injury cases. When it comes to getting hit off your bike in the city, as I was, there really is no amount of$that can heal such injuries. There are truly no words for how incredible Brian Breiter and his whole team are. If you’re looking for a personal injury attorney just stop here, pick up the phone, and call his office.
I was involved in a 2 vehicle crash in June of 2018 that resulted in headaches and neck pain. After months of conservative treatment I wasn’t getting better and knew I needed help with next steps. I reached out to Brian who referred me to a partnering attorney (Joseph Johnson) to get started. Joseph got me set up with appointments for top notch medical professionals quickly and I was able to start getting better.
Eventually, we discovered that my headaches were caused by a chiari malformation, which is a congenital defect that can be a-symptomatic until trauma, so in this case significant whiplash. The only solution was an invasive brain surgery that resulted in permanently removing part of my skull and the front of my C1 vertebrae. Joseph continued to advocate for my treatment, medical bills and long term care coverage with the insurance company of the at-fault party to no avail. They were unwilling to settle enough to even cover my medical bills! We went through mediation and multiple negotiations and it felt endless. Joseph assured me it would work out and I trusted him implicitly (and boy am I glad I did!)
6 years after the accident, we finally saw our days in court. Joseph looped Brian and another attorney (Jeff Twomey) back in and we got our chance in front of a jury with an all star team of expert witnesses. 2 days of jury selection, 4 days of testimonies and cross examinations, and a day of jury deliberation and we won a huge jury award. There were plenty of moments I had to trust them and trust the process which isn’t easy to do when money is on the line but I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
The defense argued I had a pre-existing condition and it was no relation. Brian and Jeff told the story that truly showed how different and difficult my life was after the crash. This isn’t an easy case to make and I’d trust no one else to successfully do it like they did.
Brian and Jeff’s ability to speak to a court room, to tell my story, and to advocate for me was unmatched. It was incredible (albeit nerve wrecking) to watch the masters at work. They truly are the lawyers you want and need representing your case, ESPECIALLY if it goes to trial! Not all lawyers are trial lawyers. Settling out of court is faster and easier. It takes true masters of the craft to do what Brian and his team do in front of a jury and a judge.
In the end, despite it taking Los Angeles years to find us space in a courtroom, I had my jury award read in the courtroom on September 25th and went to Brian’s office on October 30th to pick up my check. That was partly because his office was efficient in settling up my liens and paying out my experts, and partly because while in court he and his team negotiated with the defense that my award would have to be paid by the defense within 14 days. They knew what they were doing and it benefited me beyond belief.
I’m still not 100%, and don’t think i ever will be, but Brian and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was both medically and financially taken care of. I was able to see a top notch neurosurgery expert (Dr. Mobin) at their referral, my medical bills were paid in full and I have enough money for my future to continue the care I will need and to compensate the overall pain, suffering and distress this crash caused me. It was an absolute life changing amount.
Again - these guys are amazing. Don’t second guess calling them. Don’t waste your time calling elsewhere. These are the guys you want on your side!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This attorney is, without question, the most unprofessional and incompetent individual I've ever worked with. Not only did she completely mishandle our immigration cases, but she also demonstrated an alarming lack of knowledge and expertise at every turn. She charged us exorbitant fees while delivering absolutely no results--just empty promises and excuses.
When we started questioning her work and requested a refund for her failures, she blatantly ignored us, blocked all communication, and refused to take any responsibility for her actions. What kind of professional behaves this way? If she can't even handle her own business and treat her clients with respect, how can she possibly help anyone else with theirs?
Disappointed but not surprised that other people who have left reviews seem to have experienced the same mistreatment. It's clear that this pattern of incompetence and negligence is not an isolated incident. She has repeatedly proven that she cannot be trusted to handle her clients' legal matters.
This is someone who clearly prioritizes taking money over delivering results or providing any real legal support. Her lack of accountability and ethics is appalling, and I can only hope others avoid falling victim to her greed and deception. If you're considering her services, run--don't walk--in the other direction. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration of dealing with someone who has no business practicing law.

Karo is the most gentle, understanding attorney I've ever had, and he really is able to give you a picture of your situation from both the ground level, and at 30,000 feet. He was so good at informing me of all the contingencies I should expect to deal with along the way, and we talked extensively about those contingencies and how we might deal with them if they arise. When you have a lawyer who is able to give you insight into all the unexpected things that might pop up along the way, you feel much better prepared and much less nervous. Every other lawyer I've ever had just makes things worse and makes me more anxious than before I retained them. It makes you wonder "why did I even hire a lawyer at all if they are going to only raise my anxiety levels?" Karo was the exact opposite of that. He made me feel confident and sure of my position. But what surprised me most about Karo is that despite his gentle nature, he is quite a fierce litigator. And he is worth his weight in gold on so many levels. I first met Maryam in 2013 while she worked diligently on a criminal case for my husband. She had truly been a Godsend to my family. Maryam went above and beyond to thoroughly represent my husband, she went as far as to obtain her notary license so that she could notarized an important document while my husband was incarcerated at MDC, LA. I could call on her and Maryam would be available. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that she was an attorney that actually cared about her clients. Maryam was honest with me and did not sugar-coat the severity of my husbands case. I felt safe and connected to her for her honesty. Tragically, my husband passed away in custody. I had not spoken to Maryam in well over a year (we ended up going with a public defender). I received a very heartfelt text from Maryam giving me her condolences and telling me how much she knew I loved my husband.
A year and half later in 2016, I hired her to represent my minor daughter for a DUI. Again, I cannot tell how much she went above and beyond to represent thoroughly for my family. She works hard, she's honest and she has a heart that truly wants to help her clients and represent them in the best possible way. Maryam took the time to sit and meet with my daughter and offered her ear and help even beyond the court room. My daughter received probation and Maryam did her homework and was able to save me thousands ($25+K) of dollars in a falsified restitution claim. I could never thank Maryam enough for all that she has done for me and my family. My daughter is now off of probation thanks for Maryam. She is on a much better path and is expecting.
I will say that I did not trust attorneys before. Maryam is an attorney that I literally trust with my life. She took the utmost care of my late husband and my daughter. She is very dear to my heart and I love her!

I had found Maryam Sharifi through a common aquantance and I will say I was very lucky to have been able to find a way to her. I had received a DUI charge that was pending as a felony and she did everything she could to save me jail time and bring it down to a misdemeanor. She had spoken with me dad and many occasions and went out of her way to keep him informed as well and she really got to know us had a genuine concern for my well being. She found a traffic school for me and made sure I kept up with any and all court assigned classes to make sure I got out of this okay. For a very long time I had a huge worry of going to jail and having to drop out of school and all that come with that; and Maryam has helped physically as well as mentally with all of that and I couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend Maryam Sharifi if you have any kind of issues like I did.

I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for all that Alexandra and her team have done to help me work through a difficult tax situation. After years of sleepless nights trying and failing to resolve my tax concerns on my own, Alexandra was recommended to me by a local accountant. Anyone who rents in the Monterey area can appreciate the cost of renting and with that comes high deposits. Its really important to know what you are getting into when you sign a lease. I cant say enough about Mr. Daunt. He helped me on a residential lease that went wrong. He knows the laws and was able to guide me in the right direction.
