I have tried a good number of cases to jurors since I tried my first case in 1975 both in the capacity of defense attorney as well as plaintiff’s counsel. During that time, I have seen numerous attorneys in action including some who have no business trying cases either due to some lack of innate skill or preparation, many who demonstrated excellent skills , and some who I consider masters of the art. I include Bret Rivkind in the latter category. He not only has masterful trial lawyers skills but applies maximum preparation to his cases . I was referred through a colleague of mine who was a regular client of Mr. Regojo, and I have recently opened a small retail shop in South Miami. Started my case with 2 other attorneys didn't feel comfortable. After my inicial consultation with Karla I was relieved and finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel. I was facing deportation for 2 felony arrest that were 27 years ago. Non the less deportation was likely according to law. I had been an lpr 48 years and was very scared that I would have to leave this life I knew behind. This attorney fought till no end for me, end result she won my case. I usually don't write reviews for services received. However, it wouldn't be fair to not write one for Hilary Metz. She was an amazing attorney during the 3 months I worked with her. She always went "above and beyond" for me. She ALWAYS told me how it really was, not what she knew I wanted to hear. Her fees are very fair. She WILL NOT drag things on in order to bill more hours for herself. Hilary has always been easy to reach and quick to reply with an answer. Basically, she's everything you could want in an attorney. I am very pleased I chose Hilary Metz for my legal situation. And don't let her young age deter you. This woman had more ethics and confidence than attorneys I've hired in the past. She helped me with a real estate case, even though that's not her principal specialty. Looking back, one would have never known.
