I contacted Tenge Law Firm to handle my personal injury case after I was involved in a car accident in Windsor, CO on the way to work in September 2022. The other driver was immediately found to be 100% at fault which made my case straightforward, but Todd and Nina made the whole process seamless, getting incredible results. After almost a year of suffering from debilitating hip pain post-accident and being told by doctors that I just had soft tissue injuries, Todd encouraged me to get hip MRIs and see an orthopedic surgeon before settling my case. Thank goodness because I ended up needing two major hip repair surgeries. I worked with Raj Chohan for 2.5 years on a medical claims case -in this case a bike accident with an at fault driver. He was able to recover the maximum amount of coverage (the Max law firm). Despite the hoops and hurdles that were necessary in my case, Raj walked me through every step of the way-with minimal effort on my part, apart from making sure all my injuries were addressed. Raj is very knowledgable about the law and has a talented team at his disposal. He's very thorough and detail oriented. I was in a rear end collision and had a very difficult time getting the defense side to pay for my injuries and accept liability. I retained Alan some years ago on a protection order issue, and more recently, on a contempt issue.

I contacted Russell R. Hatten after being involved in an automobile accident in which I was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist. Upon impact I was then pushed into the vehicle in front of me, causing me to rear-end that vehicle. Mr. Hatten was able to navigate the situation to make sure the party at fault for these two collisions took responsibility. Myself, having a chronic back issues, needed medical treatments to address my injuries resulting from the accident. However, the cost of these treatments exceeded the coverage provided by by uninsured motor policy. At least that is what I thought. Turns out the medical facility was charging me nearly four times what should have been charged. Mr. Hatten was able to negotiate the initial cost down to what is considered fair. I was then able to receive the treatment needed to begin my road to recovery. Without Mr. Russell Hatten's help I fear that I would have been left unable to pay for the costs of my treatments. I cannot thank the Chalat Hatten & Banker firm enough. I was truly someone in great need and they were there to provide that help. I would highly recommend Chalat Hatten & Banker, PC to anyone who is in need of legal advice.

I was shattered after a terrible snowboarding accident in which I got hit by a beginner snowboarder. This snowboarder smashed my foot, dislocated it, tore all the ligaments, broke it in several spots and shattered my cartilage. I was devastated after realizing my health insurance was a scam and my foot required several surgeries, many months of physical therapy, and the loss of my ability to continue my work in the same way, if at all. My life flashed before my eyes wondering how I would ever be successful again while the bills piled up and my foot, walking ability and driving ability was completely hindered and lost. My lawyer Russell went above and beyond to insure that I not only would have my massive medical bills paid for, but that I would also have compensation for my pain and suffering, lost wages and extra money to help with my life change. He was very personable and communicated with me about what to expect, the time line and fought for what I deserved. Russell was able to get me the full amount that was possible but without the pain and struggle of a trial and he got it for me in a timely manner. This timely manner was a big deal for me as I maxed out all my credit cards and had no wages coming in due to the accident. He sent faxes to my outstanding bills and stayed on top of things like contacting my lien companies and insurance companies to keep the ball rolling so my case would not be held up. He made sure to communicate with me so I knew what was going on and was available for consultation when necessary so I did not feel alone and scared. A life changing accident like mine was one of the worst things that could happen to me and my foot will never be the same. This tragic accident was a terrible storm and very hard to get through and my life and health is forever changed. Working with Russell however brought a rainbow after the storm and a brighter future than I ever thought I would find from such a tragic accident.

I found Jim by accident while "googling" "NM ski laws". The firm name showed up on a document explaining what I had "googled". I also asked an attorney friend of mine for a recommendation. I talked to each of the 3 names I was given. One said I needed someone with much experience in ski law and the other two were not impressive. So, I contacted Jim Chalat and from our first conversation, I knew he was the one to represent my wife. He was very familiar with NM ski law even though from the beginning he told us that he could not go to court in NM but would direct the case with a local attorney of his choosing. We engaged him to represent my wife and we were very pleased with his expertise in skiing, knowledge of NM ski law and in negotiating with the potential defendants insurance company. He was up front with us every step of the way. He got us what we thought was a reasonable recovery given that my wife decided that she did not want to go to court. We hope never to need his services again but would not hesitate to engage him in the future should the need arise.
