I was surprised recently by the police knocking at my door, serving me papers, which turned out to be a filing in a Florida Court for Domestic Violence, from a family member! I live in New York State.
I immediately turned to my real estate attorney here in NY for any reference she may have in Florida, since, now I must appear in person, in Florida before a Judge. My local attorney, immediately recommended Ms Fazio without a moments hesitation. She told me she had personal legal/business relationship and direct experience with Ms Fazio. Being from NY, and always being skeptical of lawyers ( NOT anymore btw) I of course 'Googled" Ms Fazio, and found she has a video series, of her explaining several legal issues. Wow, this was great, I got see her, and see how she acts, speaks, and thinks. The power of social media. I did not hesitate to contact Ms Fazio that day. One major factor in my enthusiasm with Ms Fazio, was the fact she personally answered a 2-3 page email to my local (NY) attorney, outlining my options, and a solid plan on how to move forward with this case. Ms Fazio did not know me at all prior to this, as she obviously spent/invested some of her valuable time just answering the email with a detailed legal opinion. I received a call back from Ms Fazio personally with the day I left her a message. Great lawyers don’t just respond when their phone rings, they make other people’s phones ring. The initial court hearing was the next day, as there was no way I could be in Florida, in court the next morning. Ms Fazio told me that she will attend the hearing, and ask for an extension, given the fact I was only served the papers the day before. Her plan worked brilliantly. We received a one month delay to prepare. Again, MY phone rang immediately after the hearing, with Ms Fazio completely explaining to me what happened and why, and how she navigated the court hearing in our favor. Over the month, we spent many hours on the phone, outlining the history of the case, along with many email/electronic communications. Ms Fazio conducted many hours of research, and other legal issues with the local courts in Florida. The day of the court hearing, I received yet another call from Ms Fazio, saying to meet her at her offices, 2 hours before the hearing. I was warmly greeted by Ms Fazio, recognizing her immediately from her video series. We sat down in one of her conference rooms, and she completely outlined, in detail what to expect each step of the way , and the process overall. She intently listened to all of my questions and concerns. I have never been in court in this manner in my entire life, so being a bit nervous was an understatement. We proceeded to the court house, and every small detail she explained to me actually happened, so NO surprises at all.
The court hearing commenced, as being totally prepped, and prepared from her, I started to feel very confident in her logic and the proceedings. ( A little TV legal show drama also helps).
Ms Fazio was the utmost professional attorney I have seen in court. Very knowledgeable of the proceedings, the law and process, and was even quite cordial to my family member and her attorney, and of course the Judge. Ms Fazio had a solid plan going into the hearing, which worked perfectly. She succinctly dismantled the opposing attorneys case bit by bit, and even managed to get the Judge to admonish the opposing attorney several times! Needless to say, we won the case on solid ground, and the merits of Ms Fazios direction, guidance and most importantly, understanding of the law.
I could not thank her enough, as shed did fulfill our contractual agreement, and did fully explain everything that COULD have happened to me, both good and bad, alerting me to fact that things may not go our way, depending upon opposing council, and my family members testimony. So she was very upfront and frank about all outcomes and consequences.
I Highly Recommend Ms Fazio.

I cannot praise Ashby's assistance to the heights to which he deserves! My vocabulary doesn't have enough superlative words to adequately portray how wonderful he was in handling my legal "woes". He was wonderful in every aspect of this awful "experience with a terrible moving company" concerning the moving company's destruction/"loss"(think THEFT) of my property which had supposedly been in air-conditioned storage for over two (2) years --( I was moving from my home on Marco Island, Fl to Gulf, County,Fl and required storage as I was building a new home). The moving company was AWFUL, but with Ashby's skillful work and handling of my case, I was able to receive a much higher settlement from the moving company than I ever would have without his representation. I have had occasion to deal with lawyers throughout my life--in fact, my daddy had an LLB from Cumberland Law School ( class of 1934) and received a J.D. (as you know- a Doctor of Jurisprudence) at a later time--although daddy only did Pro Bono work since he was primarily a businessman and farmer in Florida and Alabama. Anyway, Because I have been around "legal stuff" my whole life, I really appreciate when I encounter someone like Ashby who is knowledgeable , skillful, hardworking, and compassionate in dealing with my very stressful situation. He was always extremely attentive to me and my situation and even though I may have been overly upset at times, he always made me feel like I could contact him at any time for any reason. I only wish he were closer to where I live now--but I still would not hesitate to request his help in the future--distance is no hindrance in the way in which he handles legal matters. His law firm should put him on the "fast track" to being a Partner--people/lawyers like Ashby are diamonds in a too often pile of legal coal chunks, as I'm sure you know. His honor/honesty is impeccable--I'm sure Martingale-Hubbel will have an AV rating by his name--he IS an "A" lawyer--and he has the "Virtute" (virtue) to boot!! He deserves a huge raise in salary--and if your law firm is smart, you will hang on to him with "everything you've got"!!! Footnote: Because of Ashby Davis' wonderful handling of my case/situation, I gave him my deceased husband's iconic and official US Navy leather pilot's jacket from the Vietnam war era. I hope you can infer how highly I think of Ashby because I gave him the jacket my husband wore as a Navy pilot.

In September 2015 I was in a car accident were I was hit by a person that ran a red light. So after getting home from all the chaos. I was referd to Nicholas Childress. I called him up and he meet up with me and we discussed everything going on. After hiring Nicholas to take my case, he took care of everything for me and bills I got from the doctors I visited. Nick is the guy to call.He help my case in ways you wouldn't imagine.The way my case was looking my injury an hospital bills wasn't even goin to get paid. Honest fact i even missed 2 or 3 months before even goin to my chiropractor. That there alone got all my bills rejected they even said they wasnt paying. when i promise you he made a way for that to happen within a couple of months an got me money in my pocket.He even called me every week to inform me how everything was goin. I was referred to John Clarke after contacting five or six other lawyers that did not want to bother with my case; I got the impression that they didn't think it was worth it for them. Mr. Clarke is tough and smart! After my house was sold at a foreclosure auction, the bank sued me for a deficiency of $150K. He analyzed the case carefully and found that the servicer, which had acquired the loan from the original lender, hadn't filed the correct documents to prove standing. As a result the court dismissed the case. I only wish I had hired him before they took my house!

A friend recommended we speak to Mr. Clarke after my husband and I were injured in an accident. We weren't sure how to proceed. Be careful thanking people for gifts that they give you. I thanked someone for their gift and what a nightmare it turned out to be. I explained the situation to a State Attorney Rotarian friend and asked him who would he use. “The man for you is Louis B. ‘Buck’ Vocelle Jr.” Buck and his knowledgeable staff was there every step of the way. Buck returned phone calls promptly, arranged his schedule to fit us in (even when he was busy), and kept us apprised of every new development throughout our association. We went through arbitration and came to a settlement that was best in the long run. Without Buck’s confidence and expertise in this situation I don’t know how I would have made it. I was wrongly accused by a local politician ( a lawyer) of participating with an election group (ECO 527). This politician sued the group and included me in the lawsuit. I hired Mr. Vocelle to represent me. He immediately initiated actions to remove me from the lawsuit. He was very methodical and systematic in his successful efforts to remove me from the lawsuit.
He won a summary judgement in my behalf against the plaintiff ( the politician) and won the subsequent appeal. This judgement included legal fees which the plaintiff
now owes.
During this stressful time, Mr. Vocelle answered every question I asked and took the time to respond to every call I made (which were A LOT !!). He also explained all the legal procedures I went through in "layman" terms. He was a very positive influence during the whole process.
I would highly recommend him for any legal issue.

After a five and a half long years and an exhausting trial, I should be going straight to bed. However, it is more important to me right now to offer my endorsement of Mr. Block. Erin Hardister is without a doubt, the brightest attorney out there. Because of her, My Boys will now have the opportunity to go to college. A simple "Thank you" to her in no way would suffice. She is VERY bright, and I Thank God that she's not like other attorneys out there who're just out to get a big lump sum of money and put no effort into it. She is not a 9 to 5'er like most that have represented me in this case that's dragged on for more than 7 years, and I've had some with more than 20 years under their belt, but that means nothing if you're scared to rebut the state and stand up and actually talk to the judge, versus being a scared puppet. I mean, what attorney would send you an email at 10:00pm, OR be willing to take your phone call? This case started in May of 2012. I've had several attorneys. I hired her mid April of 2019, and YESTERDAY, May 1st, she did what all those other attorneys didn't and couldn't do. My Boys are My Absolute EVERYTHING, and because of her, they now will have the Opportunity to go to college. I have no doubt that regardless of whether it was Family Law or Criminal Law, Erin would be on her game......I can truly see her one day being a judge, and a fair one at that, but I'd hope that she'd stay as an attorney so the smart ones that hire her can actually get the help and JUSTICE that they (and their kids if they are in a Family Law Case) deserve!!! I am a former police officer who was injured during a defensive training class in which ultimately resulted in a career ending back surgery. I applied for disability retirement through the city that I worked for and I was advised to seek legal council. Simply put, David Black is among the very best in North Florida at his work. I was the victim in a rear end auto collision that caused significant and permanent damage to my spine, and suffered chronic and serious injuries as a result. I initially went to another firm that is very well know, and the two experiences couldn't be more different. While the other firm was very friendly and available during the initial sign up, everything changed once I was a client. The attorney who represented me felt a phone meeting was sufficient for our first consult instead of a face to face, and I only spoke with him personally twice over a period of nearly two years as a result. The entire time my case languished (unknown to me as I was solely focused on my recovery) and I was constantly ignored, call backs were always from a different aid at best, and they insisted I would have surgery to correct the issue if I ever wanted a significant recovery, or else the case was worth very little, despite major and devastating injuries. Eventually I tired of the disfunction and began searching for a new attorney. I came across David after researching many firms carefully, and once he agreed to meet with me face to face to go over my case (without any signed client agreement yet), upon meeting him I know he was the right fit immediately. Mr. Weinstein led us through the legal consequences of the unnecessary loss of our 23- year -old daughter from medical malpractice. 5 different doctors , many nurses and the hospital were responsible for letting her die. After 3 years of unbelieveable preparation and presentations by Mr. Weinstein, we were victorious on all counts.
We had the choice of being invoved in the process as our emotions would allow. He was respectful of our feelings and we could not have endured the process with out the human touch we recieved during the darkess time of our lives.

My son was charged with a very serious felony for which he was subject to a minimum MANDATORY sentence of 10 years in Florida's prison system. We hired Mr. Ali. He did not promise miracles and was entirely honest with us. Mr. Ali managed to get our son out of jail on bond and into a drug rehab center. He helped us jump all the hurdles. Our son was able to remain free on bond for 26 months while he received the addiction help he needed. When the day came to finally plead the matter, Mr. Ali convinced the prosecutor and the judge to credit our son with the time he was out towards his sentence, resulting in our son only having to do 10 months in prison. This was incredible! Mr. Ali fought our son's case every step of the way. He was always available to us and he was relatively inexpensive. We went to one of the Big Guys in town. He wanted 10x Mr.Ali's fee and told us we would be lucky if our son did not do at least 6 years in prison. That guy needs to go to the Tom Ali School of Law! Great Job Tom! Thanks
