When other attorneys told us it can't be done, or your wasting your money. When they said you will loose, they said your going to prison. Nick asked my family to trust him and he wouldn't let us down. That's EXACTLY what he delivered. Embarrassing as it is to say that I have entirely to much experience with attorneys. Nick is by far the best defense attorney that I've ever hired. I'm truly grateful for everything that Nick has done for me! Nick keeps you in the loop every step of the way. Well, I am using Martinez Manglardi Law Firm for representation for an auto accident. So far I am happy, the only let down is that I personnally visited the office with my injured spouse that could hardly walk.. The person on the phone when I requested the free consultation I guess forgot to offer home visit. Which I found out after my personal visit that they do offer. However, I am happy to have visted the offces anyway to see for myself. The paralegal was sweet and professional. Lets see how it goes.

It was the best decision I made picking Joel as my lawyer. I had a consultation with another lawyer, that told me I would lose my case, and he would just get me the best deal he could. My case was very difficult, without getting into details, it was a civil case that stemmed from a criminal case. Just an idea of how difficult it was, the civil case was going on for 7 years, and it was finally coming down to a trial. When I met with Joel and his partner I felt confident that they would do everything possible to win my case, and they did! They put in a lot of time, not to mention I didn't leave them much time before trial, but they built their case, and delivered it flawlessly in front of the jury, and I was found Not Guilty! My experience with Joel Medgebow was excellent, very reasonable priced, but more importantly he will work very hard on your behalf. Again the best decision I made!

I haven’t much cases but this one in Florida was 6 years in the making. I had a warrant for these past 6 years and many people said they couldn’t get the warrant off, or I had to surrender, well.. she got it off. With a reasonable plea deal. She is top notch and knows her stuff. O would recommend to anyone with a case in Florida, or if she’s willing, out of state. Great lawyer and a great lady and person in general, with reasonable prices. Highly recommend to anyone who needs an attorney to turn their life around.

If you're looking for a lawyer who gets the job done, fast and effectively, choose Todd Stern. I was a passenger in a car that was sideswiped by another vehicle that left me with neck and back injuries. The insurance company denied they were responsible and downplayed my injury. They offered me a laughably small amount of money for my case. I was then referred to Todd Stern and things took a turn for the better. Todd called and we had a thorough discussion about my case and you could tell Todd cared and listened . He knew exactly what the problem was with my neck and recommended which doctors to see to get me out of pain. He then filed suit and the other side denied they were at fault. Where do I begin? My case was complicated. I had two accidents 27 days apart. In the first accident, I was rear-ended at a red light. The car had virtually no property damage to the eye, but I was injured badly. The second accident was a head-on collision, causing new injuries, and the injuries from the first accident worsened. Both drivers had little or no insurance, and I had to fall back on my own uninsured motorist coverage. You would think since you’re dealing with your own insurance company, that you would be treated well, especially since you have been with them since 1994. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I was hurt, and my own insurance company offered me virtually nothing. That’s where Todd Stern comes in. He thoroughly analyzed my case, legally and medically. He filed suit. He made sure all my medical issues were being addressed. He spoke with my doctors, got me the surgeries I needed by very qualified physicians, and helped me put my life back together again. He was very professional and attentive. I didn’t want to go into litigation, but he made me entirely comfortable and met with me for hours, and I was fully prepared. You could tell during my deposition that the opposing attorney had a lot of respect for him. When everything was said and done, my insurance company, who wanted to pay me virtually nothing, paid every cent available under each of my uninsured motorist policies from each accident!! I'm thankful for them they took my case when no one else would.
I had been on ssdi and last year ssdi cut me off after spending months going back and forth asking me to submit updated info. In the end they cut me off saying they didn't get any updated info from my Dr's. I asked my Dr and was told ssdi never requested anything from them. So I got on the phone called about a dozen law offices. The other said they o ly delta with initially getting it then I found this offce explained everything to a clerk who said they felt i had a good case but have to verify with their lawyer and would call me back. A few minutes later he was back with me getting all the details. They filed the appeal for me and did the contact with the ssdi department even kept my insurance why I was going through the process. No mind you I did have to pay for it but in the end I got the funds from them back when they gave me my ssdi back. At 60 years oul and unable to work and being 100% disabled veteran if they hadn't helped i figure i probably wouldn't have got it back this quickly if at all. They do tell you upfront that it could take about a year and a half or more so I'm pleasantly surprised that from the time I contacted them in June last year because my June payment was going to be ly last but ofcorse I didn't think about the fact you get June payment in July. So from July till first week of February . I'm very impressed.
The staff was always friendly. I never had to go into their office I did everything through phone, mail and email.
The only reason for a 4 was I still had to fill out all the paperwork for ssdi myself. When I initially got it the place that was helping me even did the paperwork for me. So that's kind of what I expected. I'm not great with filling out paperwork lol
If I contacted them they were always prompt with a response.
If I ever have a reason for a lawyer office again and it's something they handle they will have my business.

My experience with Avard , Micheal Sexton, my attorney is more than disappointing. I am well aware of the process for disability claims for I represented myself for 2 years. After being denied, I was referred to them. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I was a client for over 3 years. I wasn’t made aware of all of my responsibilities to obtain medical records until the last 3 months before my trial. A lot of the information they had in my file was completely incorrect. My age at the time was incorrect. They had no clue I was a widow of 9 years, which also falls into other disability categories. My medical conditions were stated incorrect. I was also sent to a Physician that stated my conditions incorrect. Had I had been informed to gather all of my medical and mental health records prior to 3 months of my trial, I would have done so. A major car accident lead to some of my disabilities. Those records were destroyed because it had been 10 years, 2 months prior to my trial. I am unable to support myself due to multiple conditions. The back and forth of Disability and SSI has left me with nothing. I will never recommend this Law firm and will definitely let everyone know how insufficient they are with their communication. How they do not even see you as a person till deadline and then have it all wrong! One of my statements from the Judge quotes ”client claims to have Hyper Mobility disorder due to a vehicle accident in 2014.” That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard of. My Hyper Mobility issue is a birth defect. It has nothing to do with the accident, nor the titanium that has rebuilt my shattered right foot, or my spine and neck issues. What a load of crap!! I am now left pocket change and a very small amount to live on. This is absurd and I will tell Everyone how ridiculous this law firm is. I am not the first to be disappointed and I surely won’t be the last. I hope they enjoy taking money from the people who actually need it! Good Riddance!!!!

Attorney Christian A. was helping us, we had a telephone consultation in which he explained the steps to us. In the middle of the process we had questions and called the office in Gainsville, Megan answered the phone very rude and said she couldn't help us and hung up immediately, shortly afterwards we called again and she continued saying that she could not help us without giving us space to explain, the services were paid for by our legal plan and not obtained.

Extremely poor communication. Seem to only prioritize cases that make the most money. Had a much larger case last year and the communication was okay. This year is something smaller but we haven't had a status in two months despite two emails to them. Would not recommend. Maybe they're overbooked but you would never know because you rarely hear from them.
UPDATE 7/30:
Two emails later, we have still heard NOTHING from the office. They incorrectly filed our original paperwork and even asked for the same paperwork we submitted to them. Updating to one star. Do not recommend. The communication is non existent.

Mowrey Law Firm, and in particular Rebecca Emert, did a great job representing me in an accident case in which I was completely stopped at a light and another vehicle plowed into my car at well above the legal speed limit while simultaneously searching for his cell phone… thus never using his brakes.
