I certainly would and have recommended Mr Hawkins services. I recently got a dui in the state of SC. I had seen Mr Hawkins on the local news about a large case he had and decided to give him a call. It was after hours so I left a message. I was promptly back the next morning. He told me that although he didn't have a lot of experience at the time and DUI cases he would certainly help me out by taking the case. After going over everything that happened with him in his office he asked me to give him some time to contact the solicitor and subpoena some information. After doing so he got back in touch with me and we went forward with our case. It seemed that he had good relations with the opposing party and I truly think that helped a lot. We eventually got my case dropped to a reckless driving which certainly was better than a DUI. As I said earlier I would certainly recommend Joshua Hawkins to anyone who needed his service. He was prompt professional and certainly made me feel very comfortable with his competence.

I am so thankful that I had Andrea as my representation. I have been back and forth with custody of my son for years due to false allegations. That’s what I thought about the service rendered by Andrea B Williams. I was in a unique situation and she worked to determine what was needed to resolve my case. She approached every angle to make sure every question or requirement would be addressed. My unmarried daughter died of COVID after delivering a newborn infant by an emergency c-section. The expectation was to be in sedation on the ventilator until are lungs were stronger. She was never able to sign to get the birth certificate and name the father of the child. Neither the father nor myself was able to apply for the birth certificate. Andrea made certain that an emergency hearing was set and we were granted a final hearing at that time so that benefits could begin. She was stern and straightforward and communicated with me to keep me informed. She was also very affordable for the amount of time dedicated to this case. I’m very grateful for her personal concern for my family and would recommend her for any legal matter you may have.

Ryan Lane and his office staff are to be commended. Mr. Lane represented me to modify a divorce regarding child support. I truly experienced justice with him. I told him several different outcomes I wanted as far as child support. He thoroughly explained why some things would I wanted were in line with child support law and why some things wouldn’t be good because they weren’t in line with the law. The worst experience I have had with any lawyer. Charles was outright rude did not respond to any emails or phone calls until after everything was finished and did not try to work on the case. When finally speaking to him he stated he has “more important cases” he’s working on and did not even take 5 mins to tell me anything about the case. I would never recommend this law firm or lawyer to anyone save your money and go somewhere someone actually takes the time to talk to you and get you results.

A bit disappointing. The settlement I received was ok and all the people were friendly, but it came at a price. I didn't feel as if i were a priority to them - which considering what they earned for so few hours and such little negotiation imo - was surprising. I was in an accident where a car hit me as I was walking on the sidewalk. Open and shut case. Even though the perpetrator had no insurance, I had uninsured motorist so it was simply a matter of collecting from my insurance company. Imo, there was very little or no negotiating. My real complaint is that I wasn't kept informed of anything. I would have to call Melanokos every few weeks to find out what was going on (after several months elapsed first). Then they would take action and typically say, "Oh, we have to file so and so at a different place." They didn't know. This happened 3x. I never even knew the case was settled until I got a letter in the mail from my insurance company. No excuse for that. And then 3 months later I received my settlement.Also, when you sign with a firm, make sure the percentage they take is only from what YOU GET...As an example, if you agree to pay the firm 35% and your settlement is 200k dollars, make sure their 35% commission is from what you RECEIVE, because if you owe say, Medicare, the law firm might have to pay Medicare 25k (or whatever) before the law firm gives you your money. So it's 175k you get, and then they take out their 35%, but they take 35% of 200K and not the 175k lol. Why? I never would've signed up for that if i knew. I'm paying Medicare the money, and then the law firm is taking 35% of my TOTAL settlement (i.e. 200k)? So I'm paying 135% of what i owe Medicare? How ridiculous. I probably ended up with a bit more using Melanokos than if i did it myself, but not worth the aggravation, "extra" payment, and basically no communication from them - unless it was initiated by me. Not for me.

My legal case was not a big one, so I decided to work with the insurance company myself to reach a reasonable settlement. At first the insurance representative could not have been nicer and more interested in my wellbeing as we discussed all my pain, medical visits, etc. That was until we began talking about a settlement. At that point, she had a total personality change. We could not reach an equitable settlement because she was adamant about the unacceptable amount her company would pay.
That’s when I contacted Michael Melonakos. He took over the case and reached a settlement for more than double the amount offered by the insurance. Plus, I no longer had to deal with a cantankerous insurance representative.
Should you need an attorney, call Michael. I’m sure he will do a wonderful job for you as he did for me.

Parker took my case in despite it not being in his firms day to day type of case. We went up against a large company that had the resources of 2 different defense terms working for them. After trying to settle and being offered nothing, Parker went into the jury trial and demonstrated his knowledge and stated the facts and proved to the jury the wrong that was done by the company and got every dollar we set out to get. My wife and I were in a pretty bad accident, roughly a year and a half ago. A drunk driver hit us from behind, at approximately 50 miles per hour. We flipped, crashed into a tree, and I blacked out after I was torpedo'd into the back seat. I woke up in the hospital several hours later, confused, scared, and in a lot of pain.
Fast forward a few days.
My wife and I are in pain, and are incredibly frustrated. We've never had to deal with something like this before, and it was very daunting. After a quick Google search of lawyers in the area, we soon landed on Joye Law Firm.
A short while later, we were introduced to the wonderful Jeff Gerardi, and our pre-existing fears of "evil blood sucking lawyers" melted away. Jeff was kind, patient, and very clear in his guiding us through the unknown process ahead of us.
A year and a half later, my wife and I are back to full health. Jeff Gerardi helped us manuever the tricky insurance battlefields, and we walked away with enough money in our settlement to get married, pay off all of our student loans, and make a down payment on a house!!
What could have been the worst event of our lives, ended up being a massive blessing in disguise. And Jeff Gerardi was the man who made it all happen for us.

John Holland was great from the beginning. With him being my 3rd lawyer on my case. Needless to say future lawyers, at the time of contact, weren't to interested in taking a case two other lawyers have been removed, fired, from. John listened to what I had to say and the problems I was having with previous lawyers. He was the only lawyer that "didn't" tell me, right from the start, "Oh, a father getting full custody of his young child is NOT likely to happen in the State of SC. " But of course they would do all they could and take my case. Leading absolutely no where. Then I met John Holland. I honestly don't believe he believed much of what I had to say. After all, I had already gone through 2 attorneys. He was straight up and let me know that if what I was telling him was on the up and up he would take the case. As time went by it was obvious that what I had been saying was true. John gave me the benefit of the doubt and worked extremely hard on my case. Never once mentioning in "SC Father's don't get custody". Well I'm hear to tell all the Father's out there, don't buy into the hype. Great lawyers can achieve great things. Took 6 years total. The last couple years with John fighting for me. As of July 29, 2022 I am happy to say I have full custody of my son. If your a Father that believes you should have custody of your children then fight for that. If you decide to fight, especially in SC, than you'll need a great attorney. John Holland is your man.
