The following is my opinion:
I would not recommend using this firm. I retained them to pursue a claim against a strip mall landlord for breach of contract. They asked for a $5,000 retainer ($2,500 of which was non-refundable). I sent them all of the information they requested. I waited for weeks and heard nothing. I contacted them multiple times for a status report, and was told that they were working on it. I finally got a draft letter to the landlord that was written in general terms, and they admitted the letter would likely get ignored. I was nickle and dimed for every little thing. It cost over $1,700 for a letter that I could have written. My advice is to seek legal counsel elsewhere.

So far she been a very reliable, efficient, dependable, honest, straight forward, aggressive, compassionate, understanding, & trustworthy attorney. I just wish that the closing of our case could be done a lot faster, almost 1 year. Dealing with certain insurance companies, that are not very cooperative is a struggle for any attorney; whether they are good, great, excellent, or average. So far she has been redeemed in my eyes. I was in an accident November 5th in their website for add they had on Facebook told me that they would have my money in 30 days and it would be at least a three-digit number check we're going on this many months and they're still spinning me I just think it was misleading for them to get my hopes up that I would have my money that fast and be done with it and that's not the case and I'm not even sure that they cared that much

Cordt Cullen Akers seems to lack the strategic foresight needed for effective defense. My experience was particularly disappointing as he pushed for a plea deal without thoroughly reviewing the evidence. This was especially frustrating when other defendants in the same case had their charges dismissed, suggesting the case might have lacked merit. His background as a former prosecutor might not translate well into defense strategy, leading to decisions that could be seen as overly cautious or misaligned with the client's best interests. I would caution against hiring him if you're looking for aggressive defense or a thorough case review. His approach might not be suited for everyone, especially in cases where a nuanced defense is crucial.

I see Mrs. Valentine no longer practices family law, but she was my family law attorney at the time. I sincerely think Mrs. Valentine wanted to help me, but in the end, she failed and abandoned me when I needed her most. She was very understanding in the beginning as she agreed to support my goals. I explained that while I understood I couldn't stop my divorce, I didn't want it and wanted to do everything I could to maximize the possibility of reconciliation, so I wasn't going to do anything to encourage it. She seemed to respect and understand where I was coming from and was willing to work with me. She also understood that I had already hired an attorney who had exhausted all of my retainer from my temporary hearing and I was still paying off my balance with them, so I couldn't afford another retainer. She agreed to work with me on an hourly basis instead of requiring a prepaid retainer. During that time, she was helpful answering questions, explaining how to file documents and prepare for hearings. However, when it came time for my final hearing, she indicated I finally need to pay a retainer, to which I reluctantly agreed to because I didn't really have the money. I even asked her if she could take it out of the trust from the settlement in my final hearing so that I could still afford to pay my living expenses. She declined, however, I managed to come up with the retainer the last day of her deadline. I was literally on my way to her office when she told me she could no longer represent me because I didn't want a divorce. She then proceeded to suggest that because I hadn't paid a retainer, that she wasn't representing me, but we definitely had established an attorney-client relationship over the course of almost 9 months, I was just paying on an hourly basis. I explained again, that I knew I couldn't stop the divorce from happening, but as a matter of principle, I was committing to my marriage until the end. Considering it was right before the July 4th holiday, I felt that she just didn't want to do the prep work instead of going on vacation. As a result, I wasn't able to retain an attorney on that short of notice and had to proceed with my hearing as Pro Se. As you could imagine, I was completely outmatched in my hearing going against another attorney, but I felt I had no other options. I was very discouraged at how she abandoned me when I needed her the most.

Terrible attitude! Doesn’t like to be questioned. She took my case and then argues with me as if she is prosecuting me. Lacks empathy. She is one or those lawyers who obviously is in it for the money and not for her client. I hate I even was recommended to her. I spoke with other clients she had out of Arkansas and they all have had nothing but negative experiences with Joyce. I bet that the reason she moved her practice to Texas. She won’t get away with this bullying style. DO NOT USE HER TO EVEN REPRESENT YOU IN A SEATBELT TICKET….she works against you!!!

when i made up this will a couple of years ago it included what percent of my wealth went to what heirs.
I updated it a couple of times.
When I opened it this time and asked to view my will I got the first two pages. The site says it is 100 % done.
If i open section 7 in modify your will I get everything but section 7.
I have asked several times for help on this problem and got nothing useful back. Right now I am trying to recreate the section but if this fails your site is usless to me.
You don't know how frustrating it is to open site and see 100%

Terrible Divorce Lawyer - Do Not Hire
I would not recommend this lawyer for your divorce. Not only is he incredibly unprofessional, but he also fails to deliver on basic legal responsibilities. He never filed any of the necessary documents for my divorce, and I was left completely in the dark throughout the process. He doesn't answer calls, doesn't follow up, and completely ignores your concerns. I regret choosing him and would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

I run to him for my 1st rear-ended clear liability accident case. He wouldn't take my case because, other side has small insurance policy.(he said it flat out to us) I give him 2nd chance professionally again for my 2nd rear-ended truck accident with Million policy he wouldn't take it because, I had no police report and 1st injury complicating 2nd accident claim for clear win (those are his words). Don't get me wrong. He is super lawyer and he known the law. He just love easy case that he only sure he will win big. They said, you only know your friends when you are down. Take this advise from seriously hurts people, whom know good and bad lawyers in Houston or take your chances.(Oh he take your perfect case, so would all attorney in Houston)

I HIGHLY Recommend Attorney Zachary O'Neal Luce. His Firm and Staff are very patient and professional. I was in a terrible auto accident that destroyed my GMC Yukon. We were luck to survive the crash. I suffered some injuries and was referred to outstanding doctors and rehabilitation that got me back on my feet again. I was able to recover and get back to normal life within a relatively short period after the accident. I cannot say enough about Mr. Luce and the way his Firm attended to my every need to include winning my case. The large settlement I received was nice but I feel it's secondary to the way I was treated by Mr. Luce and the Firm during this difficult time in my life. It's hard to say how important that part is during difficult times and hard to put a price on great customer service and compassion.

Zach Luce is currently handling our auto accident case. I was referred to him by a family member who had a wonderful experience with him, and after doing my research I decided to select him and his firm DLG Luce.
My case is not one that is going result in a million dollar verdict, but from our first conversation over the phone I could tell that he genuinely cared to help me and my sister receive the best results, regardless of the amount of money he will end up making. He immediately got me in touch with the right care providers and handled my hospital bills. He gave me all the direction I needed on what to tell the insurance companies so they wouldn't trick me into giving them a statement and has been in direct communication with them on my behalf ever since.
His team is also very helpful and they never make me feel like I am bothering them or act too busy to help me out.
Mr. Luce has prepared me for what is to come and I feel very comfortable knowing that he is not afraid to go to trial if necessary. I trust his judgment because everything he has suggested so far has turned out better than I expected.
Hiring an attorney was an overwhelming thought for me when I had my accident. My sister also had no idea what to do because she lives in Mexico and is not familiar with the insurance system and the scams we would have encountered had we not hired an attorney and handled it ourselves. Mr. Luce and his team communicate with my sister (they are all bilingual!) to keep her updated on the status of the case, even though she is in another country.
I think a lot of people are scared to hire an attorney to handle their case because they don't know what to expect. All I can say is that after working with other attorneys for different types of cases I finally understand WHY it is important to stand up for yourself and having Zach Luce on your side certainly gives you the upper hand.

I have never needed to look for a lawyer and when I did, I called one on my own and one a good friend of mine referred to me, the choice after talking to both was clear and easy. After speaking to Mr. Luce on the phone he was very sympathetic to my health and came to my home and spoke to me and explained everything in detail of what was to happen or be expected. He even went so far as to ask if i needed anything prior to his visit and after, as i could not drive due to my physical condition at the time. Mr. Luce was very courteous and not overbearing or pushy, he was very understanding and made no attempt to pressure me into hiring him at all. The time my case played out, was a long waiting game and he was very good at keeping me informed and explaining in detail what was going on. I was very pleased with the outcome of my case and the way it was handle by himself and his staff. If for some reason I ever needed a lawyer in the future, i would not hesitate to go with Mr. Zach Luce, and would refer him to anyone I know who may be in need of a lawyer.
