Mr. Galbraith represented my ex-husband in our divorce. A few years after moving back to Spain -my home country- I started the process to have our divorce legalized in Spain. My ex-husband and I had separated in good terms, and he did everything he could to send me all the documents I needed. However, there were some that he didn't have. That's why I contacted Mr. Galbraith. He first made it sound like he was going to look into our case. After many unanswered emails/ phone calls, he said he couldn't represent me as he had represented my ex-husband. I replied that I wasn't looking for representation, I just needed some documents that had been issued at the time and I explained he was my only way to get those documents. He never got back to me.

I contacted Robert Galbraith initially for a consultation prior to husband filing divorce. I had only been married a short time, but my spouse was making various threats that would affect myself and my children's welfare. Robert was very understanding: he laid everything out on the table, calmed my fears, and assured me that he would be there when I was ready to proceed, if I decided to choose him to represent me. He never pressured me to make any decisions, but instead listened/gathered facts, and then made recommendations based upon what would be best for myself and my children. Throughout the process he got back to me quickly each time I reached out, and was great at communicating. Robert Galbraith is not like other attorneys; he is down to earth and can relate to his clients.

I based my decision to hire Mr. Norfleet to handle my SSD application on the reviews posted. I was most attracted to the customer service part of the reviews.
From the begining of the application process to the end of the award of the appeal hearing, the entire staff was so friendly, caring, accommedating and sincere. Several times they would even meet me in the parking lot to get papers i was dropping off. It was difficult for me to walk the distance to get inside the office and all i had to do is call them and someone would come to my car to get the papers. Who does that anymore?!
Mr. Norfleet was so thorough and detailed throughout the entire 18 month appeal process. He made the process as easy as it could be during the appeal. At the appeal hearing, he was completely prepared and confident. He certainly eased my fears of the hearing. He advised me what to expect at the hearing and he was right on every count!
My case was settled very quickly (less than three weeks) which is very unsual. I attribute the quick resolution to Mr. Norfleet's thoroughness, preparedness, professionalism, and respect for the court.
I highly recommend Mr. Norfleet to anyone who needs assistance with their social security disability filing!

Elizabeth Molnar advised me to address my criminal case by initiating a PFA case. I spent $$$ for a paragraph and sat an entire day in court to submit it. They appeared with me on the scheduled hearing date, knowing it would be postponed, and charged me another $$$.
She told me I needed to hire a criminal lawyer 2 days before my case because they didn’t have one to send, that was another $$$$. But that firm showed up, exceeded the desired expectations THIS firm requested to win the PFA, and did it with one court visit that lasted 30 minutes.
The PFA hearing was postponed again, another full day in court, then wasn’t given clear billing expectations moving forward. She handed off the case to Meghan Zupanic. An emergency arises, there’s a PFA violation, Elizabeth was on vacation, Meghan took 2 days to respond, the lack of action resulted in a PFA being filed against me.
Told them I planned to change firms, Elizabeth offered me a lower flat fee, promised to address my concerns about lack of urgency or communication, I paid them another $$$$. They made no effort to communicate or keep me informed, likely because they weren’t doing anything to prepare or ensure the desired outcome for the cases.
I did the investigative research that Elizabeth suggested, said she would do, and then didn’t. I researched claims and accusations, pointed out lyes, and provided evidential proofs that could be used in my case. Meghan was so ill prepared for the case that the judge was genuinely frustrated. While my character was being ripped to shreds, the JUDGE asked why she wasn’t objecting. She had dates wrong, hadn’t reviewed crucial parts of the case. The conclusion? Another full day in court. My case for the PFA violation was dismissed and a Temp PFA was granted against me.
They have negated any validation I had of being a victim from the criminal trial. I relived all my trauma to provide them the resources to protect me from being fearful of them ever happening again. He got to walk away smiling, calling himself the victim, while I have to live with the perpetual fear of being arrested if he sees me somewhere.
While I hate to leave such a terrible review, its impact will pale in comparison to how their terrible service has impacted me. They refused to provide me any billing details. They couldn’t speak to a single reason or cause for their negligence other than blaming the JUDGE. They dwindled the possibility of a partial refund so I could seek new counsel, they suggested they would take action to try and remedy part of the outcome, but what they really did was just exhaust any legal window I had for recourse.
The negligence, the lack of professionalism, lack of accountability, blame shifting, failure to honor the terms of the retention contract that was signed, is all just absolutely appalling. As they’ve made zero effort to remedy any of this, and have in fact made it worse, I will be filing complaints with all the necessary legal entities. I implore anyone seeking genuine help to look elsewhere.

Ana Lisa Petrella is an extremely efficient, compassionate, and knowledgeable attorney. She got me through the very important process of dealing with child support successfully. Will you be charged for phone calls and emails? Of course. But her rates are reasonable and her experience is extensive, so she will not waste your time, or hers for that matter. When you reach out, she responds within the day, sometimes the hour if you catch her between hearings. She is a warm soul that clearly wants to help her clients get what they deserve. As a woman, I wanted a woman representing me through this process. She gave me the confidence to ask for what I needed, and to not give in to my natural instincts to roll over. Worst attorney I've ever had. In the pre meetings she sounds like she will win you the world plus more. Then it comes time for action and all she wants to do is drag things on to make more money. You can tell her your wishes and everything you need and none of that matters. She will tell you straight up you won't get this or that. It makes no sense im paying you to do a job and your telling me instantly you can't do that. You pay so much upfront thinking alright this will pay for it, but then bam lets double your bill when your done because she doesn't listen to her clients and their wishes. She's not what she makes herself out to be and honestly I don't see how any of these reviews are real besides the one star that I read. If I could give advice for someone looking to hire her for child custody DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH!

Arman forgot my court date and showed up 2 hours late. For the amount of money I paid him, he should be able to buy a planner. Then to top it off, had a parking ticket when I returned to my vehicle, as he said to me, its only $10.00. WTF. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

Armand did not help us in the child Custody case. The problem was a headstrong child who wanted to stay with un-related neighbors. He said my mother's behavoir was destructive toward the child which was completely un-true. The neighbors later began to steal her SS benefits. I only wish I had spoken up in court when the child was under oath asking her if her deceased father would have approved of her staying with the neighbors who he did not trust or like...but I kept my mouth shut instead. Armand cost us money with no good outcome.

Mr. Cingolani represented me in a DUI case involving prescription drugs. He was professional, candid, and thorough while representing me. I found his candid approach refreshing and helpful throughout my case. It was most helpful putting my anxiety at ease and refraining from second guessing myself. I hired Jeanne for my divorce and child support. I had to stay on top of her CONSTANTLY to get things done. I was supposed to have my car signed over to me within a few weeks. I did not get the car for 10 months! She just didn’t do anything about it. I had to follow up to make sure she sent in the paperwork for me to collect my portion of his military pension!! She did not file the paperwork with DFAS!! She comes with a ton of attitude. She can be nasty and very rude at times. One more huge complaint I have with her is that she did not follow through with getting me the back pay I’m owed for 3 months of military pension that I was legally entitled to, according to the military agreement. I asked her about it and she gave me a typical nasty response from her stating that it would cost me extra for her to follow through with this. Meanwhile, I contacted a colleague of hers and he told me that the attorney that handles the divorce agreement usually follows up with that as a courtesy to their client. Jeanne does NOTHING out of courtesy. She has a nasty side and she shows it. She would not fight for my three months of military pensions that were due to me and I am disabled and have an autistic son. I really need the money. She doesn’t care. She also DID NOT FILE the paperwork with DFAS! If I wouldn’t have checked for myself a year before it was supposed to start, I’d be screwed. She didn’t file it. She said she did. DFAS said she didn’t. They had nothing from her. She either lied or was just neglecting my case as she had all along.
When I emailed her she was on vacation, as usual and she told me that she was not going to help me get the money owed me. She is not a good attorney. Even two of her colleagues said so because of her lack of follow through. I will be filing a complaint and or charge against her. I had a terrible experience with her and I would suggest a different lawyer. She took money from me for a case that never happened regarding my autistic son. Hire another lawyer.

I hired Charlie at $700/hour to represent me in a high-conflict, high-net-worth divorce, and I cannot recommend him based on my experience. While highly regarded as a skilled litigator by peers and judges, Charlie failed to deliver in my case. Instead of advocating for my rights, he repeatedly advised me to concede to opposing counsel’s (Cheryl Young) demands, which appeared to be influenced by personal distractions and a lack of focus on my case.
I specifically hired Charlie to challenge a post-nuptial agreement I was coerced into signing under duress years earlier. Despite the agreement’s significant financial implications—over $10 million—he discouraged me, claiming it was ironclad and not worth the cost or effort to contest. When I questioned the logic of signing a stipulation agreement waiving my right to challenge the post-nup, especially without securing any concessions, Charlie had no satisfactory explanation. Beaten down by the process, my ex-wife, and her counsel, I reluctantly signed it, only to later learn from my new attorney that I should never have agreed to the stipulation in the first place. I felt misled, misrepresented, and unsupported.
Charlie’s lack of availability and communication compounded these issues. When I pushed back on his advice, he disclosed he was dealing with serious personal matters, including caring for a sick spouse and traveling extensively for his son’s lacrosse activities. While I empathize with his situation, he failed to notify me or ensure proper coverage of my case, leaving me feeling abandoned during one of the most difficult times of my life.
Adding to my frustration, Charlie demonstrated limited knowledge in key areas of family law, mental health, and addiction. He mishandled the use of a Soberlink breathalyzer in my case, tethering me to my abusive ex-wife and ignoring established best practices in addiction and family law. This decision exacerbated my PTSD and caused further emotional harm to me and my children. My alcohol dependency—minor and without legal or criminal complications—was disclosed in good faith, but Charlie’s poor handling of the situation made matters worse.
Finally, after I fired Charlie and hired a new attorney, he attempted to use my new counsel as a go-between to collect his outstanding invoice, which I felt interfered with her ability to represent me without bias. Ultimately, he waived most of the remaining balance after I wrote him a formal letter expressing my dissatisfaction with his representation and his inappropriate interference.
Divorce is a deeply stressful and complex process. The family law system is notoriously ill-equipped to address the mental health and emotional toll it takes on families, especially children. Clients deserve attorneys who are transparent, diligent, and fully engaged. Unfortunately, Charlie’s lack of focus, poor judgment, and inadequate representation fell far short of these standards. If you are navigating a high-stakes divorce, I strongly recommend seeking alternative counsel.

Divorce isn't a fun process, but Charlie Meyer's knowledge and approach to a difficult situation made it a little easier. Unlike other attorneys I consulted, he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear but instead what was a fair and likely outcome (even if it wasn't 100% in my favor). He has a very patient, encouraging, and casual manner that put me at ease. Charlie always got back to me even in my most hysterical moments, often early in the morning, often on weekends. I believe he has a good sense of personalities as well-- understanding how much information a client needs and wants and knowing, too, when to keep some of the unimportant nonsense quiet. Needless to say he has extensive knowledge of the laws in quite a few counties in and outside Philadelphia, and he seems to have a good rapport with lawyers/ masters/ judges in a courtroom setting.
If you're looking for a fair and balanced approach to your case--and for someone to put a lot of fight and effort into getting you what you deserve-- Charlie is a good choice.

Steven was the 3rd attorney I'd hired during my divorce and the one whom I stuck with to help me navigate through my divorce. I did have to do some leg work myself, but in my opinion that's normal to have a personal stake in the outcome. Steven's experience in law and his ability to stay empathetic but separate from emotions and facts with respect to the law served me immensely. He's someone I'd recommend even if you are up against a real bulldog on the other side of the fence. He will serve you well.

Atty Demas has handled seven cases for me in the past five years, and I wish I had him represent me earlier through the original child custody, support and divorce proceedings. He knows PA family law and will provide realistic goals but then fights for his clients`rights. Amazing attention to detail and clear communication! I was represented by Sadie Marak in the case of my divorce which took over two years to process. Sadie demonstrated a thorough understanding of the law and made the right choices through a lot of twists and turns; knowing when to compromise and when to hold her ground. Sadie never gave me the impression that she had other priorities, although I'm sure she had many clients and cases. Each time I had questions, concerns, or feedback I was able to reach Sadie by phone, email, or text within a matter of days which I really appreciated. Avoid this firm! After paying 12k to this firm within a short period of time, I was told to find a new counsel ( via phone call) due to the retirement of my attorney. My case was 30 days away at this point.
I called the firm to inquire about my options . I was then transferred to Maria Cognetti, who was extremely rude to me and kept saying I couldn't afford her and that her retainer starts at 20k, and she refuses to take my case. My case had one court date left. All other tasks had been completed.
Lynn ( her front desk) called back almost immediately and stated both attorney's spoke and attorney Kendall agreed to continue my case BUT the retainer had now gone up TWO THOUSAND more dollars than the original bill I received a day or two prior.
When I questioned Lynn regarding the retainer increase, she stated it was due to attorney Kendalls retirement. I then called to question that & I was transferred back to Maria. She then told me he wasn't taking the case period.
I then asked Maria if the judge had honored attorney Kendalls withdrawal on my case. The next morning, attorney Kendall emailed me and said he would take my case for the original retainer amount.
They only care about the money. The fees were outrageous. I paid $170 for attorney Kendall to review a three worded email. Go anywhere else! I obviously obtained a new attorney after this who handled my case with care.

I am dissatisfied with the behavior of this law firm, which has wronged a friend and respected member of our community. After attempting to address my concerns with the firm's owner, I was met with a lie from the paralegal about the owner's availability. This incident reflects the unprofessional conduct that I have observed since my friend first retained this firm. My friend, a responsible and law-abiding individual, was taken advantage of financially by this firm. They have failed to provide adequate communication and have not honored their obligations under the retainer agreement. I have filed complaints with the local bar association and will continue to advocate for my friend and protect others from this firm's unethical behavior.

George Lepley isn’t the lawyer he used to be (unless his reputation in the past was nothing but bluff). Doesn’t return calls, doesn’t recognize his own clients at court appearances because he collects your money without in person consult, gives you a different price every time you speak to him, doesn’t fight for you. I agree with another person’s review. All he does is make deals with prosecutors that change when you go to court. He’s an overpriced hack.
If fighting a criminal charge, I suggest Kyle Rude or Morrone, Hoffa and Campana law office. I’ve had good results with Rude for family law matters. He listens and has a stellar reputation (just check his reviews). I have heard many recommendations for M, H&C office from others.
Even those that work in the courthouse snicker when you tell them Lepley is representing you. He’s definitely not worth his retainer or hourly rate.

No one wants to need a family law attorney. Very few cases in family law are the kind where everyone ends up happy.
If you find yourself in this situation, you want the best. I can confidently say this person is Kathryn. She is accessible to her clients, remembers the details of your case, tells it like it is, and isn't afraid of anyone. I would gladly pay her 10 times what I did if I had to use her again. Her representation made a world of difference to me and my kids!
I've read the recent negative review and have no issue saying that it's clearly someone who was on the losing end against Kathryn. That person doesn't actually have any negative comments on her skills and ability and instead makes rude comments about her appearance (which is always impeccable by the way)...sounds like someone who is bitter they chose the wrong attorney instead of hiring Kathryn.

I would not recommend Frank Johnson if you want an amicable divorce. If you’ve seen the movie Marriage Story, Frank will remind you of the lawyer portrayed by Laura Dern—looking for an opportunity to draw out the legal fees as long as possible by making the process as toxic as possible. He advertises on his website the he got an alcoholic woman custody and made the spouse pay his fees. In my experience he took a scenario in which my ex and I asked for equal time with the kids and roughly equal expenses with a pre-agreed split of assets and then he made such significant threats about what he could do in court that then turned it into tens of thousands in fees with no actual court hearing and no end in sight to the expensive negotiations. There are better options for your kids and your future than this man. If you have kids, rather than listen to him, agree to split the child tax credits, each claim head of household, agree to perfectly equal time or the courts will penalize you, and agree to equal share of expenses and assets. That’s what my parents did and our lives were better for it.
