I based my decision to hire Mr. Norfleet to handle my SSD application on the reviews posted. I was most attracted to the customer service part of the reviews. From the begining of the application process to the end of the award of the appeal hearing, the entire staff was so friendly, caring, accommedating and sincere. Several times they would even meet me in the parking lot to get papers i was dropping off. It was difficult for me to walk the distance to get inside the office and all i had to do is call them and someone would come to my car to get the papers. Who does that anymore?! Mr. Norfleet was so thorough and detailed throughout the entire 18 month appeal process. He made the process as easy as it could be during the appeal. At the appeal hearing, he was completely prepared and confident. He certainly eased my fears of the hearing. He advised me what to expect at the hearing and he was right on every count! My case was settled very quickly (less than three weeks) which is very unsual. I attribute the quick resolution to Mr. Norfleet's thoroughness, preparedness, professionalism, and respect for the court. Mr. Galbraith represented my ex-husband in our divorce. A few years after moving back to Spain -my home country- I started the process to have our divorce legalized in Spain. My ex-husband and I had separated in good terms, and he did everything he could to send me all the documents I needed. However, there were some that he didn't have. That's why I contacted Mr. Galbraith. He first made it sound like he was going to look into our case. After many unanswered emails/ phone calls, he said he couldn't represent me as he had represented my ex-husband. I replied that I wasn't looking for representation, I just needed some documents that had been issued at the time and I explained he was my only way to get those documents. He never got back to me.

I contacted Robert Galbraith initially for a consultation prior to husband filing divorce. I had only been married a short time, but my spouse was making various threats that would affect myself and my children's welfare. Robert was very understanding: he laid everything out on the table, calmed my fears, and assured me that he would be there when I was ready to proceed, if I decided to choose him to represent me. He never pressured me to make any decisions, but instead listened/gathered facts, and then made recommendations based upon what would be best for myself and my children. Throughout the process he got back to me quickly each time I reached out, and was great at communicating. Robert Galbraith is not like other attorneys; he is down to earth and can relate to his clients. I would recommend Robert Galbraith for any family law issue that comes your way.

Didn’t stand up for me... let the other side lie and didn’t even comment about anything.had to make my own comments felt it was 3 vs 1 and he was just there for show...also ..promised things he couldn’t keep! Only made a agreement so I could hire another lawyer so I wasn’t stuck with someone who couldn’t give results..

As I near $40k, and over a year and a half in divorce expenses, I could not imagine having a better lawyer and ally than Dave Schanbacher. In divorcing the daughter and sister, of two county judges (from the county in which we and our children live), Dave has brought a superior knowledge and accountability to a flawed system. His profound expertise has enabled him to sort out fact from fiction, and to beautifully navigate what is clearly an uphill battle, and an arduous process. While we still have much work to do, I can’t imagine having a better and more trustworthy attorney. My only regret, is that I didn’t hire Dave as my first attorney; instead opting for a local, and egregiously less talented local (Bellefonte) attorney.

Hired him for my divorce. Definitely laid it on thick when first met him. Provided him with detailed and organized information. Paid him considerably to review information and to be prepared. None of that happened. He was so disorganized and unprepared in court. I found times where I had to bring information to court that he already had, but wasn’t prepared with. He still fumbled through and couldn’t present case. Pretty embarrassing. I give you one example of many. We had to go in front of divorce master. Both parties had appraisals done. One item a four wheeler was appraised $1600.00 of any book value. I pointed this out to Dave way before meeting to submit for evidence. He said just bring to meeting. Needless to say divorce master wouldn’t except it because it wasn’t submitted for evidence. Thanks Dave you just cost me $1600. This is just one of many mistakes. I really considered firing him, but at the time I couldn’t afford another retainer. Believe me I checked with other lawyers. When I told them what was going on, they just shook their heads. I hope someone who reads this,learns from my mistake. Looks somewhere else. I will say this about Dave, he’s a shark when he’s trying to get more money from you. Too bad it doesn’t follow into court. Sad display for a lawyer claiming to have all this experience. Good luck.

I've had two experiences with this woman. First time was positive. Second time (years later) her firm refused to take a meeting with me. Unless you have a lot of money you need to get the help you need elsewhere.

I am dissatisfied with the behavior of this law firm, which has wronged a friend and respected member of our community. After attempting to address my concerns with the firm's owner, I was met with a lie from the paralegal about the owner's availability. This incident reflects the unprofessional conduct that I have observed since my friend first retained this firm. My friend, a responsible and law-abiding individual, was taken advantage of financially by this firm. They have failed to provide adequate communication and have not honored their obligations under the retainer agreement. I have filed complaints with the local bar association and will continue to advocate for my friend and protect others from this firm's unethical behavior.

I made a appointment with the owner for a consultation. Her secretary called me to ask me if I wanted to make an appointment with Maria cognetti or her associate for less money. I stated that my friend was going through a divorce but had no money, does she take cases like that ? I was told she does at time take cases like that but we had to go through the consultation first to see if she would. We went to see her, she said she never takes cases like that and her office would of never told me such things! Well this was the only office I ever talked to so 100% I was told that! She said she has never done that. I spent 509.00 for nothing! I do not make that kind of money and for her office to deceive me like that was not right! I would have never came there to give someone 509.00 for nothing!!!! Her secretary also didn’t tell me she was allergic to perfume… but Maria basically called me a liar that her firm said she sometimes takes cases where the client pays afterwards, but shocked her we weren’t told about her perfume allergy?…. So I’m out of 500. For nothing, I said would I showed up to just give you 509.00 for nothing? Just think about that….. if they were honest at the beginning, and if it was a fact they never did that I would of never gone to hand over 509.00 cash for nothing…. Think about that…. And yes it was the only law firm I talked to! She made it seem like I talked to another lawyer. No 100% cognetti law firm 100% that they told me she sometimes takes special cases with no money… so I feel scammed. I wasted hard earned money for nothing!!!! We don’t make a lot in life to hand out for nothing! The fact she made me feel like I lied about what her secretary said is even worse!!!! Think about this … why would I come there if I had no money? I asked the secretary that question! She said yes she does take cases like yours with no money upfront, but you have to get the consultation first to see if your case qualifies.. then Maria said she has never taken a case like that ever!!!!!! Wow bye 509.00 for nothing!!!!!!!!!!

I am having a issue with a power of attorney paperwork, done by Joseph Remagli at another office. I called his new office 2 times without a call back. The secretary screenes the calls, tells me he is on vacation, or out to lunch, or on another call. BULL!! I suggest you find another office to deal with if you have any legal issues. I will be reporting him to the PALS GOVERNMENT OF PA.

I hired Jeanne for my divorce and child support. I had to stay on top of her CONSTANTLY to get things done. I was supposed to have my car signed over to me within a few weeks. I did not get the car for 10 months! She just didn’t do anything about it. I had to follow up to make sure she sent in the paperwork for me to collect my portion of his military pension!! She did not file the paperwork with DFAS!! She comes with a ton of attitude. She can be nasty and very rude at times. One more huge complaint I have with her is that she did not follow through with getting me the back pay I’m owed for 3 months of military pension that I was legally entitled to, according to the military agreement. I asked her about it and she gave me a typical nasty response from her stating that it would cost me extra for her to follow through with this. Meanwhile, I contacted a colleague of hers and he told me that the attorney that handles the divorce agreement usually follows up with that as a courtesy to their client. Jeanne does NOTHING out of courtesy. She has a nasty side and she shows it. She would not fight for my three months of military pensions that were due to me and I am disabled and have an autistic son. I really need the money. She doesn’t care. She also DID NOT FILE the paperwork with DFAS! If I wouldn’t have checked for myself a year before it was supposed to start, I’d be screwed. She didn’t file it. She said she did. DFAS said she didn’t. They had nothing from her. She either lied or was just neglecting my case as she had all along. When I emailed her she was on vacation, as usual and she told me that she was not going to help me get the money owed me. She is not a good attorney. Even two of her colleagues said so because of her lack of follow through. I will be filing a complaint and or charge against her. I had a terrible experience with her and I would suggest a different lawyer. She took money from me for a case that never happened regarding my autistic son. Hire another lawyer.

I had to hire another attorney because this attorney is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I’m in the process of reporting her to the Barr Association. She kept my retainer money even though she literally did not do any work on my case. She didn’t file anything on my case in 7 months and makes up very long winded, ridiculous excuse for not getting her work done.

Whatever you do! Don’t not hire this law firm! My fiancé used him for a custody hearing and he didn’t present her evidence nor did he do any prep work for her case. It was 900 for retainer and it was a complete scam!

Steven was the 3rd attorney I'd hired during my divorce and the one whom I stuck with to help me navigate through my divorce. I did have to do some leg work myself, but in my opinion that's normal to have a personal stake in the outcome. Steven's experience in law and his ability to stay empathetic but separate from emotions and facts with respect to the law served me immensely. He's someone I'd recommend even if you are up against a real bulldog on the other side of the fence. He will serve you well.

This is a lawyer who I would refer to anyone I care for. She was a bull-dog when it came to the fight in court. She will tell you as a client the realistic possiblities of the outcomes that I was facing whether I liked them or not. She actually called months after my hearing in custody just to see how we were doing!! Who does that? Not only is she a competant lawyer she is a very great human being. I have had the pleasure to have Diane working on Custody case in Bucks County. Diane has been very professional and has worked vigorously on my Custody case as if she was fighting for her own child. I highly suspect the 5 star reviews are fake. They keep you in the dark, hold internal meetings without your awareness and make decisions without your input or knowledge (only to learn about it at the next billing cycle) and are very, very difficult to get hold of. Almost all emails are met with out of office replies and no voicemails ever responded to. When a status hearing I did not know existed was extended by my attorney without my knowledge (only to learn this in the next billing cycle) and saw my attorney had answers to interrogatories for nearly a month without telling me only to discover this from OJS = you're fired. OJS literally laughed and smiled... like yeah good luck with that, seemed par for the course. Not to mention a strong, positive person for my case was not contacted three separate times my lawyer told me he would, only for him to say when I finally called him out that he didn't think he was important, is more than messed up, it's unethical = you're fired. Didn't trust me, and didn't even contact the person... so how would you know? That's just a small piece. I highly do not recommend this "law" firm.
