Terrible!!!! Over 30k in one year for a divorce and I am still no where near being divorced! He keeps your credit card on file and charges a huge sum every month without your permission. 30k in one year I was charged as he took 3, month long vacations to Italy!!! I'm still legally married and there is no agreement for divorce! Thanks Abele.......

My husband and I had 2 retain counsel for a civil suit w/a disgruntled ex friend who made bs allegations, & was trying to take 1 of my 3 dogs, who happened to be my service dog. We hired Mr. Attorney Cook, who told us he'd knock it outta the ball park and boy did he follow through!! And I really definitely just can't say enough about Lauren's grace, compassion, and overall pleasing personality!! She dealt w/me ALOT & never once got miserable & if she was annoyed she never showed it!! I felt like she was our personal cheerleader & believe me I'm sure I drove her nuts w/all my worries about Daisy, and she was very true 2 her word also when she said she'd be team Daisy 4ever!!
I really cant say enough about their professionalism, compassion, team work, etc..
There's a million lawyer jokes out there but Attorney Cook doesn't fit the mold of any of them!! He is a fantastic lawyer with a genuine understanding of the law who loves what he does and couldn't be more honest & legit if he tried!! Lauren once told me he's a good honest man that we could trust. She was right!!
And she is just as good & honest, I hope she never 4gets that!! I would totally want her as a friend if they'd be open 2 it. Thank you so much to the both of you!! You guys really took a horrible, horrible situation and turned it into something great through your dedication, commitment & hard work!! My first impression was that she had cared about me and wanted to do what was needed. She and her team did what was needed for the first few months. However, throughout the process lack of communication occurred on her end.
She quoted one rate for things at our consultation which turned out to not be accurate. She charged more than once for the same document.
She never listened to me and fulfilled my needs after I told her not to do one thing.
She promised me that I would be divorced in a year. That was 12-2018 and it is approaching three years as I am still stuck in the abusive relationship that I reached out to her to end.
I sent numerous emails throughout the months where she and MacKenzie stopped doing anything related to my divorce. My last email was approximately one month ago. I kept telling both of them that it was still my intention to divorce but never received any communication back.
Calling the office is a joke because you are told that the message will be relayed and just like emails they are ignored.
I have done some research as a friend had recommended her and from what this friend told me there are others that feel that she did not meet their needs.
Be forewarned that you will be overcharged and that she may not always have your best interest in mind.

She took my money, let the case go on for years where nothing happened and then tried billing me thousands over several months when it started again and didn’t even speak to me during that time. Refused to take my calls and her staff billed me when I sat on hold and was told she wasn’t available. She gave the opposing side information I didn’t authorize her to release then withdrew when I had her on several ethics violations, claiming I would not pay her and there was a break down of attorney client relationship-which was on her part because she wouldn’t respond to me. Her staff read all her emails and respond, so there is no true attorney/client privilege. Stay far away from her!

I had an in person consult with this attorney last month that did not go well, she was quite rude and insensitive to me. The results of her consultation (I later learned from another legal representative) were misquided and inaccurate. She threw some legalese language at me that was not applicable in my case. So it was a waste of $500 of my time and money.

Elizabeth is the first attorney out of 4 for me for a long custody situation. She never had me worried, always got back to me in a timely manner. She handled all of my situations with ease & professionally. She reassured me time, and she advocated for me and my children during a rough time. Father wins custody!!! My husband and I went through a very long and difficult 7 month custody battle trying to obtain primary custody of my step-son. " Your honor this case is a crap shoot" I knew I picked the wrong attorney. After thousands of dollars paid he demanded payment in full for the balance or he was quitting the case. And he quit. Never won at anything in court but to have the judge let him quit. He than sued me for the money owed. We settled on a lower amount.

This attorney coordinated the referrals. I didn’t know what I needed to do to address a board discipline, and it was relatively new to her also. She had seen it before. How she helped was to get me to the right people. A comprehensive diagnosis for my medical issue, the right litigator for the hearing, consultations with specialists, getting reliable information from the right people in positions of authority. She put in the legwork by making calls and doing legal research, then tapped into her network to shore up resources. The process and procedures were uncharted territory for me and I certainly needed guidance. The road was long and slow. Eventually, it was adjudicated in my favor. Thanks to this attorney I was successful in proving competence and am able to restart the practice of medicine. Other attorneys did not and do not deliver this level of service.

I was facing charges I got for retaliating against an abusive ex boyfriend. Attorney Dutko believed me and fought for me. He got my charges down to almost nothing and I am finally back in my chosen career field because I can pass a background check with flying colors. Hired this attorney and nothing was worked on for almost 5 months went to fire him but he asked me to give him a chance to do the work,so I gave him a second chance and regret it. A simple divorce that he said he could do with the retainer if $1,500 turned into 2 k and still no divorce. He doesn’t answer calls or return calls he will blame you for why he can’t do his job. He can’t remember anything told to him and you will have to repeat your case to him every time. Check out other reviews before ever hiring this man. Still don’t have my divorce and he wanted another $1000 to finish it. Stop with another attorney who reviewed all the work he did and said the attorney made a mess of my divorce and could see why the judge denied my decree. The attorney is a joke and doesn’t know how to do his job. Don’t waste your money

Mr. O’Malley was the worst, most unprofessional attorney I have ever met. In the span of 8 months he didn’t read one document he requested, didn’t follow up on anything he said he was going to do, did not return phone calls, emails, or messages in the portal, and didn’t do one thing to earn the $4500 he received for services. He was rude, crude, vulgar(calling to opposing attorney gross nicknames), demeaning toward the client, lazy (asking the client to find documents in his files that he requested). He yelled at an old woman. He asked the same questions every time as if it was his first time meeting the client. Then when the answers to those questions finally got through to his fat head, he said he couldn’t do anything without more money. I would recommend anyone to Stay away unless they want to lose. He also could not provide a notary public, told the client he needed to have documents notarized and when 3 different notaries refused to notarize because all the parties had to be present to sign he said it was fine. He is totally horrible!

First off I will say that I was rushed in picking a lawyer and didn't use very good judgment. This one will take you for all you have and not do the work for what she charges. She basically stood by while I stated my case in court. She came to court late on several separate occasions because she had other cases to attend to. She doesn't communicate almost at all. I would have to ask all the questions and never got straight forward answers. She doesn't offer any legal advice for your situation. She will send paperwork through the mail as often as she can and charge you an arm and a leg. She has no compassion and will not explain anything. She also gets annoyed and irritated when asked to explain something. During her consultation she will do what she has to and say what you want to hear so you retain her but never actually follows through with what she said. I did "win" my cases but it was in no part thanks to her or her doings.

I hired Ann to handle a child custody case. I recently moved into my son’s school district and was hoping for a 50/50 custody arrangement. My son is 8 years old and his mother has had primary custody since he was little. At the first meeting with Ann, I knew she was the attorney I would hire. She was knowledgeable about the process, the judges and was very strategic with next steps. She did not over promise but she did exceed my expectations and over delivered. At the custody master level I received a recommendation that was not favorable. Ann worked through the issues with me and I ultimately decided to move forward to a trial. Ann’s competence and suggested strategy were main deciding factors that led to taking the financial risk of trial. During the process, the relationship with my son’s mother became very hostile and Ann was always responsive to emails and phone calls. At the end of the day I ended up receiving a favorable outcome. I plan to use Ann in the future for any family law issues.

Was interested in someone specific at firm, unfortunately it got handed off to her instead. That should have been my first sign. Upon sharing with her what I was looking for and hoping to obtain - she was passive, disorganized, and in the end I spent thousands of dollars that got me nowhere. It's as if she was in her own world and didn't even put forth an effort to fight for my rights regarding custody.

If one does homework on Mr Marshall he stepped down as Asst D.A in 09. Mr Marshall mishandled my case badly and spoke to me very badly in my opinion. I have to live with the repercussions of his mishandling and lack of advocacy on my case. You hire a lawyer to argue and advocate for you and it was said that things were not argued. I was harmed in my case, in the mishandling of it and in I feel how I was spoken to as well. My case was very sloppily and incorrectly handled and lost. I also felt intimidated as a client which is not something one wants to feel from an attorney hired and paid well to represent your interests. He did not argue on my behalf in my opinion and I feel pretty much written into the decision. The opposing counsels statements about me were practically complimentary in comparison to his "representation" of me. I have no criminal record and was a victim with circumstances flipped on me. Empathy and passionate advocacy would have been nice, but I wonder where one can find that with attorneys in this area. I feel it's often mostly about money and whether they like their clients or find them important. I've found that if attorneys don't like their clients they speak down to them argue with them and screw up their case. Mine was lost either on purpose or because of such a poor job. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone given my experience. Attorneys are in a position of power and with that should come kindness towards their clients and professionalism ideally.

We sought Lance’s help on a very difficult situation for our daughter which included domestic violence and issues that could have affected her career in the long run due to false allegations being made in retaliation for finally having her husband arrested. Lance was responsive, fair and extremely knowledgeable about the laws. We found him to be honest and never gave us false hope but was able to always paint a clear picture of what the next steps would be. My daughter is finally free and can move on happily with her life thanks to Lance. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needs an experienced attorney.

Avoid this firm! After paying 12k to this firm within a short period of time, I was told to find a new counsel ( via phone call) due to the retirement of my attorney. My case was 30 days away at this point.
I called the firm to inquire about my options . I was then transferred to Maria Cognetti, who was extremely rude to me and kept saying I couldn't afford her and that her retainer starts at 20k, and she refuses to take my case. My case had one court date left. All other tasks had been completed.
Lynn ( her front desk) called back almost immediately and stated both attorney's spoke and attorney Kendall agreed to continue my case BUT the retainer had now gone up TWO THOUSAND more dollars than the original bill I received a day or two prior.
When I questioned Lynn regarding the retainer increase, she stated it was due to attorney Kendalls retirement. I then called to question that & I was transferred back to Maria. She then told me he wasn't taking the case period.
I then asked Maria if the judge had honored attorney Kendalls withdrawal on my case. The next morning, attorney Kendall emailed me and said he would take my case for the original retainer amount.
They only care about the money. The fees were outrageous. I paid $170 for attorney Kendall to review a three worded email. Go anywhere else! I obviously obtained a new attorney after this who handled my case with care.

After attempting to address my concerns with the firm's owner, I was met with a lie from the paralegal about the owner's availability. This incident reflects the unprofessional conduct that I have observed since my friend first retained this firm. As the GAL for our custody case, KST blindly sided with my ex without any concern for my children or their wellbeing. She helped put the kids into a dangerous situation instead of getting them out of one. She didnt hardly speak to the children, almost never showed up for court, and was eventually removed my case by the judge because of how little she was doing. I would not recommend her under any circumstances.

Has not fixed the preliminary hearing transcripts, lies misleading statements. The wrong judge listed this needs fixed, and not like Clinton county Court system.
