I wanted to share that the experience I had with the view ridge law- more specifiacally with the attorny Elaina T. was far from well. I had to end my session with her early and request my money back. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. The only positive that came from this was that the office did refund me my money. I lost out on a very timely situation due to their lack of attention.

Beware of bait and switch tactics used by this firm and Christopher Pitts. I recently was involved in a divorce/CIR settlement and, after a phone interview process, hired Christopher Pitts to represent me. I signed off on the agreement to have him represent me, and was immediately handed off to one of the firms more junior attorneys. No mention from the firm that I would not be working directly with Mr. Pitts, who I had hired. I asked why I wasn't talking directly to Mr Pitts, or ever hearing from him regarding my case, and was told that in the early stages it was less expensive to work with a more junior, less expensive attorney. However, this never changed. I never heard from Mr Pitts, not once, during the entire 6 month long process. Only that when I first heard from the more junior attorney, she told me she would be 'assisting' Mr. Pitts. Which would have been fine, if the person I had actually hired in the beginning, would have been the one I was truly being represented by during mediations and negotiations with the opposing counsel. I thought I was hiring the principal of the firm. I was not, and it ended up costing me pretty much everything I was fighting for.

I reached out to Christopher on an international travel dispute issue which has been an ongoing challenge with my ex. Christopher is well thought, experienced and a very helpful lawyer. October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. At every turn lucky has been awesome. He's been my lawyer since April of 2017 with his help I was able to defeat a temporary protection order and get a good temporary parenting plan. He continues to work on my divorce. At every turn I have been grateful that Lucky is my lawyer. He has explained every step of what we need to do. One of the things I like is almost every time we talk he asks how the kids are doing.

There is no way around it, divorce sucks and so does the family court system. My spouse and I split because she "wasn't in love anymore". When I wouldn't give her everything, accusations of all types of abuse were made. Three different trials in three different cities. Lucky was first my criminal defense attorney that eventually took over the divorce side. the two+ years was long. I thought it would never end. Having so much emotion, I wasn't always rational. Lucky took over. We succeeded on all trials (one didn't even make it to the actual trial because the Prosecuting attorney had no case and bluffed they're way thru always trying to get me to plead out). It is sad that false accusers have no repercussions in family court. Lucky made sure everything was done and because of the history of questionable (false) accusations, he made sure there were certain things written to protect me from future issues. If it wasn't for him, I probably would have no contact with my kids. Seven years later, the kids now live with me. Thank you Lucky!

She'll tell you one thing then do the exact opposite. Then if your retainer runs dry you better have your check book ready. Because she'll drop your case in a Hot second until your caught up again. She is not there to do what's best for you. She's only there to do what's easiest for her. Then when wewent to court she didn't consult with me at all. She was acting like co-counsel for my ex. So diffinately proceed with caution if you decide to hire this attorney.

**Stay away from this firm!!**
~I do not leave one star reviews lightly~
I'm embarrassed to have to say that I was almost duped by this attorney into representing me, but she did get a ton of money from me.
I was with them throughout a retainer and a half and 8 months later for a childless, asset-less divorce. I left their firm with next to no work done that I didn't do the majority of on my own and only the initial petition having been filed and paid a retainer and a half.
I tried to professionally converse with Elizabeth about fees and time frames during the case, and she suddenly withdrew her representation, without any discussion, through an email where she neglected to take any responsibility for her office's inactivity during my duration under their counsel. Even through the inactivity on my case, the fees kept rolling in for reading emails multiple times as well as multiple people reading the same email multiple times. Elizabeth also charged me to tell the court she wasn't going to be in office, and charged me for the people to prepare and file that same copy paste document with changed dates.
I was nickel and dimed, that's all I can say.
I will say that with as easily as she gave in after an email requesting clarification about charges and how I felt that my case was being put on the back burner, I'm glad to see she won't be representing me in court now, as she would likely give up as easily in court as she seemed to wither and run away after just one email.
Steer clear of Elizabeth Christy and find better representation elsewhere, you'll thank yourself.

I found Kathryn through a friend. I had already made several calls looking for an attorney to help me through what I was sure would be a difficult divorce. All the calls I made we met with “this is what we charge an hour” and then the touting of all their accomplishments. With Kathryn the first words I heard were of compassion for both myself and my children. In our first meeting she patiently and knowledgeably answered all of my questions and I trusted her almost immediately. The divorce went as expected and she kept me on track with both a sense of humor and by telling me the truth whether I wanted to hear it or not. It’s not something I would want to go through again, but if I do I know who to call.

Robert Russell and his office were spectacular. I would hands down hire him again and highly recommend his office. He thoroughly outlined the process and what was to be expected. He is a straight shooter, to the point, and very professional. He is a great communicator and listener. Deeply unprofessional and discriminatory conduct from Theresa Lorella and this firm. Unethical law firm that refuses to provide an itemized receipt. Ms Lorella sold herself as being capable of the most difficult divorce settlements but after 3 months and tens of thousands of dollars later she was incapable of doing even the bare minimum such as get my non marital personal property back. Ms Lorella also engages in bigoted behavior and when her firm disciplined her for the matter she quit the next day in retaliation. If you are a member of any marginalized community you do not want to hire this law firm.
I also believe there was a fraudulent use of funds and Ms Lorella’s relationship with opposing counsel was a serious issue. I do not believe she operated in good faith. Must be nice to collect a six figure paycheck off of the dissolution of families.

Mr. Browning, in my opinion, is one of the best lawyers you can get. He is always looking at both sides to be ready for a response in any case. The communication between the two of us was amazing! He consistently gave me updates and always gave great advice. He worked so hard on my case, even with him being injured during my case, he never failed. I could ask any question and he was never mad or irritated with it. Mr. Browning is very thoughtful about everyone’s feelings and desires when it comes to getting results. I am writing to express my sincere disappointment and concern regarding the legal services I received from Daniel.
I engaged his services with the expectation of receiving professional and competent representation in my case. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory for the following reasons:
Lack of Communication: Throughout the course of our engagement, there was a noticeable lack of effective and timely communication. Vital information was often overlooked or not relayed promptly, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and confusion.
Inadequate Preparation: It was evident that there was a lack of thoroughness and diligence in the preparation of my case. Critical details were overlooked, resulting in a subpar presentation of my case.
Missed Deadlines: There were multiple instances where critical deadlines were not met, causing delays and jeopardizing the effectiveness of your profecionalism. As a resalt my hearing was faild because of that.
Failure to Fulfill Promises: Promises and assurances made regarding the handling and outcome of my case were not fulfilled.
Lack of Advocacy: I felt that there was a lack of assertiveness and advocacy on my behalf.

My custody case was very complex. I spoke to many Washington lawyers only to be told by all of them that this is a losing battle. I was told that I would spend a lot of time and money and still lose. I hired an attorney, in Oregon where I live, to work on my custody case in Washington. They did nothing, I hired a second Oregon attorney who was helpful, they found Mr Battan, discussed options and advised me to work directly with him. I was apprehensive at first as Paul had told me that my case was not only possible, but that he felt he could get it done fairly quickly and easily. This was in contrast to what previous attorneys had said. He cited the cases that were similar, explaining why he felt a judge would rule in my favor. I decided to move forward with Paul Battan and his approach with this matter, about a month later I was awarded temporary custody, another few months and it was finalized. Paul was confident, reassuring, and was always 10 steps ahead of the other party. My only regret is that I didn't find Paul first..... about 6 months and numerous consultations were wasted on other less experienced attorneys. Don't make my mistake, you "better call Paul"!

Attorneys did not even ask about his will as my brother had it done to add myself as his beneficiary of any of his payouts from his benefits from his laborers union. Now have to go through another attorney to file for what should have been done through them . My brother passed away on the 21st of June, and recieved a letter to our mother, saying he was no longer representing him. I had an unusual case where my spouse was Canadian but we had never resided together in either Washington or Canada during our marriage (we had been overseas). I used Bliss Law Group, specifically Riley Moos, to represent me in an especially contentious protection order against my husband (and father of my only child) after calling the police on him for the third time in 2 years. The night that I left was the final straw when he tried to break down the bedroom door to get to me. My ex was extremely upset when I filed for the protection order, vowing that by the time the hearing was finished, he would have full custody of our daughter....As you can imagine, I was quite scared!!!! A lot of people say that protection orders are easy to get but ours was much more complex. When I left my husband, the only place I could go, was back to him, or to a homeless/abused women's shelter. I would not allow my daughter to suffer either one of those situations and decided to take her out of state, to my hometown, where we could stay with family while we could pick up the pieces of our broken lives. The decision to leave the state was best for my daughter but it added greatly to the potential repercussions of leaving my husband. My attorney, Riley Moos, swooped in and saved the day. It's hard to describe, but from the moment I started talking to her, I knew we would win that protection order; I could tell when I talked to her that she had read all of the 25 page protection order I'd written recounting the treatment I'd endured over the years, and I knew that she was 100% invested in protecting myself and my daughter. She believed in my cause and she pursued it like a mother bear protecting her cubs. In the final protection order hearing, the Commissioner stated that there was a preponderance of evidence of coercive control. He ordered my husband undergo a substance abuse evaluation and domestic abuse evaluation. And here, I must applaud my ex-husband, because he allowed this feedback to change him. He's been going to AA 5x a week for the past year, has gotten sober, and has turned his life around. None of this would have been possible without Riley. I had previously talked to a pro-bono attorney and could tell that she had no interest in *fighting* for me, or even in reading the lengthy protection order I had written. If it hadn't been for my attorney, Riley Moos, my daughter and I wouldn't be safe in our new home, and my ex-husband wouldn't have turned his life around!!!

Todd was the first lawyer who was willing to fight for what I wanted. It's unrealistic to go into a divorce thinking you will get everything you want. Recently, I hired another attorney and they were fine, however, family law was all that they could handle. Mr Bellmer was able to handle criminal as well as family law, because domestic violence was used. His ability to move back and forth through different courts amazed me just how he could keep up with all of it along with his many other clients. Regarding me, he had a mountain of STUFF to overcome even with me interrupting him, he was still able to methodically and systematically overcome everything the opposing lawyer accused me of. Currently, he has righted my ship and now I personally feel that I am in a position to win. I would like to add that I am innocent, so justice will prevail. If you are guilty, then there is not much any attorney can do for you except get you a lesser sentence or sanction.
