Chris was amazing!! I had a year long divorce proceeding she was very persistent and accommodating. She was very compassionate and caring. Anytime I needed her she was in contact with me with a matter of mins to the next day at the latest. We were awarded everything I was asking for as well as primary custody of my children. Spent $7000 for child custody and support modification. They wanted at least another $3000 just to maybe get a settlement. So I was unable to continue the retainer and now I’ll be going to court myself. I would say don’t use these lawyers but now I truly believe this is just a vampire trade and every American lawyer is like this. So, won’t be hiring anymore lawyers in this lifetime.

I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review of Siemon Law Firm, just to fully process my divorce journey and experience using this law firm. Overall, I had a fairly pleasant experience and my attorney, Jordan Edwards, got me everything that I asked for. However, there are a few observations that I want prospective clients to understand when not only dealing with this particular law firm, but any divorce lawyer in general.
1) These lawyers do not care about your emotions or what you are going through. They are here to represent you to the best of their ability while refreshing the retainer as much as they can. When you speak with them, skip the small talk and pleasantries because every single second is being charged. This brings me to my second point.
2) Ensure that your correspondence with your respective lawyer is structured, which will reduce the amount of times you need to have a telephonic conversation or send an email. One of the tactics I noticed that they will do is purposefully extend a conversation with gibberish just to justify billing you; or instead of sending you one detailed email, they will send you several short email messages and bill you for each. It is imperative that you set the boundaries of expectations when it comes to communication. Doing so will save you a lot of money.
3) Divorces aren’t cheap and this law firm will remind you that with the number of times the retainer is refreshed. My divorce didn’t even go to trail, but in all it costed me north of $20k. Keep in mind that when you do your “free” consultation they will give you an arbitrary retainer fee of what it cost to go to mediation and what that retainer will be should it go to trail. Expect that cost to be substantially higher when it’s all said and done. It is imperative that you scrutinize the summary of charges. You will see things like “team meetings”, document review, etc. Which brings me to my final point.
4) You must be proactive during your divorce process. My divorce was finalized in April of 2024. I would have never known that unless I reached out to the law firm for a status in which they immediately sent me a copy of my signed decree. I do find it strange at the fast turnaround of response, yet I was still being billed for “team meetings” etc. I speculate they were trying to reduce as much of my retainer as possible prior to closing my file….but that’s just a speculation.
In all, these key points aren’t a knock against Siemon Law Firm, but just lessons learned from my point of view. Jordan Edwards did a remarkable job in ensuring I retained the house, 100% of my military pension, and minimum payout to my ex-wife. I would most definitely recommend this law firm. Best of luck with your journey.

Courtney was wonderful to work with. We were seeking assistance with conservatorship and guardianship of my late father. These are the hardest of times and Courtney approached our case with compassion and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. Balean and Kristy kept me sane during the hardest year of my life and I am forever grateful.
I was too nervous to reach out to a divorce lawyer even though it was well past time, so a friend of mine who is a lawyer in another area talked me into it and recommended these two personally. I can't say enough good things so I'll try and break it down into the things that are/were important to me in a divorce.
They are NOT pushy. I was so nervous the first call, I did not want to get a divorce. I even (politely) told them I hope we don't ever need to talk again. They were extremely supportive. Not one single time did either of them push me towards a divorce. They answered all my questions honestly and thoughtfully and I never felt rushed.
On the flip side of that, they are also very cognizant that their time is expensive. So for me, it is very hard to find a lawyer who is constantly aware of running up your tab, but personable enough to trust them and not feel like just another check in the spreadsheet. On top of that, I have ADHD so I can get off on a tangent with the best of them. Both Kristy and Balean we're very good at redirecting me into the areas that mattered and pushing me though the areas that didn't without letting me get hung up on them.
They are extremely prompt (during business hours, I cant speak to otherwise because I don't expect people to work 24/7), I don't think I ever waited a full day for a reply. You WILL feel like a priority. Which frankly with how being a lawyer works, is pretty remarkable.
They know their stuff. I don't know a better way to put that. And if they don't know, they make it a priority to find out. I had a few odd snafus with property issues and a few (lets say less than reasonable) demands from my now ex, and if I had a question they tracked it down if they weren't already sure.
They are generally fun and calming presences. Mediation went for a full day, so Balean was trapped in a room with me for probably 12 straight hours. And if you aren't aware (i certainly wasn't), mediation is very much hurry up and wait. When we had the mediator, it was 100% business. When she was in the other room, we walked through everything we needed to discuss, got advice, and then were able to relax and recharge a bit before the next turn. As you can imagine, its an emotional time. I went from needing to pace the hallways angry to bouncing off the walls bored to everything in between and not once did Balean get even slightly irritated with me. They are VERY aware that you're going though something and that while we need to be efficient there also needs to be room for you to be a person with feelings and needs.
So if you don't read all of that, the important bits are they are going to make you a priority and you'll feel like it, they will not run up your bill for no reason and will be honest when they think something may do so, they give you grace to be going though something hard, while also getting you though it in a prompt and efficient and competent manner. I absolutely would not even consider another legal team if these guys are available. I can't speak highly enough of this firm.

What can I say. When I 1st went up to the office Adam was there a long with his team. And they IMMEDIATELY made me feel like family. Having to go through probate and a court appointed administrator I had to deal with a lot of different lawyers. Nothing compares to the way Adam and his team were. CLASS ACTION. I have been reading the reviews on this attorney and I am blown away.I had a really bad experience with Adamma McKinnon a few years ago. She was dishonest and basically did the same thing to me regarding having me make a payment and subsequently, treating me as if i was annoying her. She also began demanding more money for the case. When I asked for my money back, she said something similar to it having been used on research or discovery. To be very honest with you, reading her responses to the disgruntled clients, speaks volumes to her lack of professionalism. I think the individuals who have had issues with her should all get together and report her to the state bar of Georgia and file a lawsuit collectively against her. If anyone is interested, please post here and I will share my Contact information with you. What I find most interesting Is there are a number of positive reviews that hit her account within hours of each other, after she attacked the last person MAXPRO that made a complaint. This is to falsely boost her rating. This is despicable. This is similar to false advertisement. Getting friends to boost your rating is deceitful. When I question him why he has taken so long to take care of matters that should have been taken care of months ago he starts stuttering and says let me check with my secretary! I was working with an other attorney before hiring them but I was not pleased with the way the previous attorney was handling my case. She recommended Melody to me and as soon as I had my first zoom interview I knew that she was going to help me to finalize my case. It was a real pleasure working with Melody and her team. I hired this law firm about 3 weeks ago. My lawyer was Ebony. I asked a few questions about my divorce and couldn’t understand George law never was the law explained to me. I paid my retainer fee. Then they started asking me if I wanted to go to trial, but wouldn’t explain why would you go to trial in a divorce? We only have one item a car to get worked out then wanted me to pay 12,500$ then wanted me to pay $2500 for an emergency hearing for my car. After asking questions one of the partners called me and told me….. they could not handle my case after reviewing emails between me and Ebony …… you need to be knowledgeable in your case ….. remember you are paying them…. Make your own decision to use them or not….. oh and lost my money …. This law firm Would not return my funds …… not great business…..

David took my jurisdiction case and knocked it out of the park. Divorce isn’t easy. At the time, I was on active duty Air Force stationed in Biloxi. Divorce was simultaneously filed in Georgia and Mississippi, although I’ve never been a GA resident. Military divorces have key differences in residence vs domicile vs home of record. David found some keen strategies within case law precedent about residency and turned them against my opponent ultimately working in my favor. Judge dismissed allowing us to move the case back to MS. I trust David’s judgement. He gets to work, he believes in the father’s rights to equality, and he holds his professional image throughout. Unlike my opponent’s attorney who used some sketchy, unethical tactics. I called David recently for advice on an unrelated matter....we chatted about Football, family, and life in general. I retained Sana as my attorney in my child custody case for my three kids. My divorce lawyer (in another state) did nothing but rack up my bill and cost me at every turn, while doing very little for me. Sana however did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping me informed and on track, helping me to make the right decisions when I wasn’t clear. She was able to not only help me navigate around an ex wife who is less than agreeable, but ultimately won me full custody of my kids as well.
To say she helped me is an understatement. She didn’t just help me, and she wasn’t just an attorney. She was able to see through a lot of the fog that was thrown our way, and helped me achieve something I never thought possible.
From my experience not all attorneys are equal, and from what I’ve seen Sana is by far better than any attorney I’ve ever dealt with.

Sana went above and beyond. She will get you ready and will test your arguments to help you know what you are up against. Sana cares. Even if the case seemed to be easily won, she showed up over-prepared and ready to go against any plausible argument. She found the most logical and strong case in my situation and always kept her calm and knew how to let the court know that she wasn't there to make empty threats. Absolutely terrible. They missed a very important filing deadline despite me reminding them numerous times which caused the dismissal of my petition. They would have missed another filing deadline except I had already drafted the pleading myself and pushed them to get it filed through their insistence that it wasn’t necessary that day. They even had the audacity to say they had “other cases to work on” when I was trying to get them to file the document I had drafted myself weeks earlier, on the day of the deadline.
During a hearing, they did not rebut a good portion of the arguments the petitioner had made in the hearing causing me to have no defense on record for those items.
After I couldn’t get Andee to talk to me, I sent an email voicing my need for them to be better advocates for me as their client. Instead of listening to the issues I had with my representation and working on a solution, I got their filed motion to withdraw.
So unless you are okay with an attorney who doesn’t file things on time and who doesn’t represent you well in court, I would not recommend hiring them.

My case was extraordinarily difficult. It was a terrible divorce, and a horrible custody battle. Originally I thought I was going to represent myself in order to save money. That would have been an huge mistake. Andee was amazing. These women not only kept me sane, but also helped me keep primary custody of my children. Were it not for Andee's expert counsel, I know I would have made errors that would have cost me custody of my children. I know she had other cases and clients, but her and her team always made me feel like my case was important. Andee Hastings is my hero. I want my daughter to be just like her when she grows up. I would advise anyone to avoid using this practice here the only concern is billable hours and not the best interest of the client. I’ve filled a grievance with the Georgia Bar and American Bar for ineffectual counseling and regret ever calling upon Ms Herron’s firm for representation of my divorce. She talks a good talk to swoon you in but her representation is deplorable.

Paid $200 for a consultation with Attorney Potter and I’m honestly not sure what I paid for. I gave a detailed description of my case and asked 7 questions to gauge whether I wanted to hire her or not and she just talked in circles for the entire hour. She didn’t answer none of my questions and was very long winded. I will not be hiring this firm bc if she talked for 1 hour about absolutely nothing, I can’t imagine how much my total cost would be at $390 a hour for her to represent me. Honestly, I want a refund. Some of the questions I asked were how long would it take her to get up to speed on my case, has she handled cases like mine and what were the outcomes, what are the possible outcomes of my case, can she identify anything that I can settle on, and how can I avoid future cases. All of her answers were “I don’t know.” I am looking for an attorney with a strategy. If I explain my case in detail, I expect you to be able to provide insights based on your experiences. This was supposed to be legal advice. I want my $200 back.

Disappointment is a complete understatement with this law firm and Ms. Dione Potter.
This law firm drags out the process and charges for each email and phone call they make while continuing to drag the case out.
I truly felt Ms. Potter was working for opposing counsel. Everything opposing counsel wanted she got with NO fight from Ms. Potter. Everything opposing counsel said in court was just allowed to be said about me with not one objection. I lost everything except what the mom allowed me to have....thank goodness she allowed me visitation because honestly if she said "no" to that I would not have gotten that either.
I've asked the firm why I did not get anything I asked for and of course they nor she could answer.
She truly feels she did a good job........

absolutely no final decision making for my child, even though I was told I would get some rights, but the mother has all those rights
I requested a Guardian ad Litem, I was told I would get it and the judge goes that route. But NO GAL assigned, opposing counsel did not want one
she sat and watched as opposing counsel said tons of untruths about me
and I got the privilege to pay my ex's lawyer fees
So I spent close to $30,000.00 with this firm with nothing to show for it, except for a laywer who thinks she did a good job. They are only good at doing one thing........billing you

You pay for a consultation 125, then you pay a retainer 1800, then you pay their processing fee (400)…. He called me to set up meeting. Told him I work 3 shift the later the better. How about 3pm? Great I said, whatever works for you. Then he offered 330…. Again whatever works. Called me next day saying he had court on day HE scheduled me, but may be continued…. If continued I wouldn’t hear from him, if not he would call to reschedule. Literally called me the next day to tell me it was continued. So I came into the office concerned that his lack of scheduling abikity was costing me money. His very unprofessional receptionist finally got him to discuss we’re he claims it wasn’t being charged. Had one meeting with the lawyer. Left out of their doubting he could walk and chew gum at the same time. Literally talked in circles the entire time. What a joke. He told me it would cost 50k and I was only going for a contempt accusation. Fired him after first meeting Robert was first name in st Charles location. Paid over 2400 to them, and then I get a bill for another 125. Hired a new lawyer Dodd, she showed up, had it thrown out with most my new retainer refunded. Do not waste your time or money with cordell cordell.
