Well I brought my case to Mr. Phillips …and was honest and straight to the point. He gave me advice on how this case was going to turn out and it did. So I would recommend him if you wanting someone who’s has the knowledge and experience.

TERRIBLE LAWYER!!!!! I paid this lady 3000$ almost 1 1/2 yr ago, never answers the phone, or returns my calls and a very inconsiderate person. Last time I spoke with her she called at 5 in the afternoon telling me we had emergency court the next day....but that didn't happen either....also while speaking with her during this same day she said " I'm going to mail you a packet to fill out"..... guess what never got the package.....I went to this lady to get joint custody of my kids. Never thought she was the type to take advantage of you but fooled me...Once she gets your money you won't hear from her again...What crazy is I'm learning that other attorneys in Columbus say the same thing about her, that she's a terrible attorney ....SO I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE SEEKING HELP FROM HER " DONT" .....JUST READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, THEY PRETTY MUCH SAY TJE SAME THING SAYING....ALSO HER LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED IN GA ....HMMM...I WONDER WHY!!!!!

Hired her for a custody case I 2019. She hardly ever answered emails or phone calls. Sent me a bill saying she worked 11 hours in one day on my case which used almost my entire retainer. They sent me a bill asking for more money and when asked about the 11 hours in one day when we didn’t even have court she corrected it told me I owed more and never actually sent me a correct statement on what she actually used the retainer for. When confronted she told me I needed to hire a new attorney. She’s currently suspended from the bar for not responding to them this is her second suspension for not responding to bar. Please do your self a favor and hire someone else from the start.

Family law is messy, emotional and the stakes are high. My divorce was fairly atypical. Steven and I were living in different time zones and there were many unique issues and difficulties to be addressed. Prior to hiring Steven, I interviewed a few recommended lawyers and most gave me a prognosis of a three to five year divorce. Thanks to Steven’s intelligence, efficiency, effectiveness and pragmatic approach I was divorced with excellent results and settlement in less than four months. He has changed my whole outlook on lawyers. Steven is a man that listens without prejudice or judgments. He is a superb attorney that offers sound advice with his client’s best interest in mind, and does not loose sight of what is at stake. He provided productive, timely reviews of preliminary drafts ensuring that my case was handled in a sensitive, appropriate manner and he seemed to always make the best choice as to when to be flexible and when to be firm. I truly felt cared for as a client and as a person. He was there not only to support me through the process but also to create competent connections and advice long after the divorce was final. I sincerely feel like a he still and always has my back.
Highly recommended. If having someone with integrity and skill handling your case is important to you, Steven and his firm should be top of your list!

I am relieved I found Steve Kirson to help me regarding a prenuptial agreement crafted with a clause that would have harmed me greatly in the long run. Steve was tremendously concise and honest about the implications. I really felt like I had a strong, talented family member who was there to protect me yet balance the situation to its reasonable and agreeable outcome. Steve represents hall of fame athletes, but he never treated my case as less important than those of his famous clients. He is knowledgeable and strategic -- right away, he assessed the facts of my case, he worked with me to develop a case strategy, and then he executed upon it with precision and efficiency. While not inexpensive, Steve's fees were reasonable for the high quality and meaningful work that was performed. In addition to legal skill, I really like Steve. He's tough, but also a good person. He truly listened to me, was sensitive to my concerns, I always felt comfortable discussing personal matters with him, and I never doubted for one minute that he wasn't fully committed to and capable of reaching the best possible outcome for me (which he did).

All the attorneys are very knowledgeable on the laws. Always keep me up to date on my case. They had an amount they would settle for, and stuck with that amount to the end. Everything was fine until I felt like Debra didn’t have anything positive for my side of the fence as for as the case go. I think she was all for the insurance side. It was bad all around for me if I didn’t know any better. I would say it was four against one. She gave me lots of advice to just settle out. For the best interest of the defendant. the (insurance) company I didn’t feel like anyone was mediating on my behalf. I feel like the mediation was for the defense side only! Very unhappy!!! Unbalanced mediation.

He explained the process to me so that I would have an idea of what steps would be taken and what I should expect, but also prepared me so that I wasn't blindsided when something unplanned happened. Fees were discussed upfront, as were timeframes that were in our control. Rob was very helpful when I needed to make decisions because he could advise me using examples of precedent cases that were similar to my situation but he also listened to all the details in my case to be sure I was represented fairly. Rob has represented me in several matters. I always felt his advice was given in my best interest even when it was not what I was hoping to hear. He helped negotiate a divorce settlement for me that I was comfortable with and probably was the most favorable I could have hoped for.

Mr. Smith had issues with listening to what I wanted as a client. He literally billed me for a process that I did not agree to (I asked him to look into the issue and would confirm with him whether to proceed). His lack of comprehension as to my dismay further supports my experience that he has issues with listening, comprehension or underlying biases that he himself is unaware of.

Catherine did an excellent job in court under trying circumstances. You will get great service. She listens and gives good advice. She was correct in her predictions of certain outcomes. She will not let you down. I was in fairly bad situation and she was able to turn it around. The deal was phenomenal considering, in fact I got everything I could realistically hope for.

I have been nothing but impressed with Ms. Ryan's conduct as an attorney. She took on the case when no one else (qualified) would (due to the work it would entail) and while her prices are high, so too were the prices of all other attorney's interviewed.
She took on a case that had been dumped by an earlier attorney and work tirelessly to educate herself on the nuances of it. Ms. Ryan arrived in court and represented the case well, even better than the earlier attorney, who, admittedly, was practicing outside of his wheelhouse. She ensured that we had the best possible outcome that we could have hoped for in that situation, and when the next hearing arose and the results were the opposite, she has not stopped advocating on our behalf. Ms. Ryan is accomplished, tenacious, and honorable (an oftentimes rare quality in this field) attorney.
Ms. Ryan does not perceive you merely as a source of income, but as a person and she has always seemed as invested in the outcome of our case as we are, which is the mark of a truly great attorney. You would be wise to secure her talents on your behalf if you are ever in need of an attorney who specializes in Family law.

I hired this law firm about 3 weeks ago. My lawyer was Ebony. I asked a few questions about my divorce and couldn’t understand George law never was the law explained to me. I paid my retainer fee. Then they started asking me if I wanted to go to trial, but wouldn’t explain why would you go to trial in a divorce? We only have one item a car to get worked out then wanted me to pay 12,500$ then wanted me to pay $2500 for an emergency hearing for my car. After asking questions one of the partners called me and told me….. they could not handle my case after reviewing emails between me and Ebony …… you need to be knowledgeable in your case ….. remember you are paying them…. Make your own decision to use them or not….. oh and lost my money …. This law firm Would not return my funds …… not great business…..

The lawyer is very pleasant and respectful. I. My experience may not be your experience when I call this Law Firm I let Diego that my insurance would not be taken responsibility for this accident. I asked him if they could still represent me. He said yes, they would get a copy of the police report. And try to get the charges dismissed. My first meeting with the lawyer representing this Law Firm was with a young lady. She came late to the courthouse, she wanted me to fill out a pretrial intervention form. I informed her that I couldn't fill out that form because my insurance was not taking responsibility for this accident. She asked me how do you know the insurance company has to take a responsibility? I said because it's written on the the paper. She said well let's fill it out anyway, she filled it out. I asked the young lady to have Miss Duvernay call me. When Miss Duvernay called me, I said, I had informed you that I my insurance was not taking responsibility for this accident. So I don't know I can't do the pretrial intervention. She said, you didn't inform me because I don't answer the calls. I said well I am from Santiago, she said you mean Diego I said yes maybe we can get it dismissed on the fact that he didn't give you a police report. We're on the same page now I understand. Now before my next court date I called Diego to ask him to describe the person that was coming to meet me if it wasn't going to be Miss Duvernay. He said , well we only work with two other ladies so it would be one of them preview when I got to the courthouse a gentleman call me on the phone asking me where I was located. He said I'm here to pick up the pretrial intervention form. I said okay I'm getting frustrated now I've already told Miss Duvernay is that my insurance is not taking responsibility for this accident. So he went and got a copy of the form, he said I read it I was hoping it didn't indicate that's the insurance had to take responsibility for the accident but it does. Miss Duvernay call me later that evening, she said, I thought you wanted to go ahead with it. I said that I can't do pretrial my insurance is not taking responsibility for the accident. A court date was set and missed, because I wasn't informed of the court date I just happened to check my mail, while checking my mailbox I realize that he got a failure to appear. The first thing I did was to send a message to Miss Duvernay. When she sent me a message back it started off with: "first of all..."The Law Firm did send a lawyer to go fix it. Her name Kristen Clark. I was told to wait for my next court date, the law firm would inform me. I did not believe them so I called for my next court date. They did not show, there were two other court date set they did not show for either one of those court dates. The judge even called the law firm they still miss the court date. It took a Google review Duvernay and the chargeback. She told me she had conflicts in the court should have known about it. There was only one problem she wasn't assigned to my case unless she was Kristen Clark. She did show up the next court date, but during the third Miss court date I was asked, if I wanted a public defender, I said yes. But when Ms Duvernay asked me to give her a chance I said okay since it wasn't her that was supposed to show up. Now I was told signed up with this Law Firm they would get a copy of this police report. But the public defender delivered it to me and I had to take it to the law firm. On the trial date we were supposed to meet at 9:15 because the trial was at 10:00. Miss Duvernay as with every court appearance we made she came at 9:40, I could excuse that but at 9:40 was when she told me all the evidence I had ,was usable. They had the information for a year. My Insurance indicated that they were looking at the cars damages. She did not ask for the pictures. So we went in the court with nothing. I had a diagram of the damage. Miss Duvernay asked, what's that? It was then I realized that nothing I uploaded was looked at.
