Not a very good law firm you speak to a very knowledgeable very intelligent person at first and then you get stuck with another attorney that does not fully handle the situation properly. Then adds fees can't show up on time and does not do exactly what you asked from the first point of contact before the retainer was even placed. They ask for more money much like trying to hire a contractor you hire I'm thinking they're going to do the work and then when they get to start the work they claim they need more money. Even though it was claimed in the beginning exactly what was needed.

Heather Fig is an outstanding Attorney. She should be awarded the highest rating that any rubric offers. She is ethical, extremely hard working, eminently knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring. She is familiar with every detail of my case and the law. She applies herself so completely that one would think she’s working for a relative. Honestly there should literally be a line at her office to procure her representation. She’ll restore your good name if you are wrongly accused. Her reputation in the courthouse proceeds her. Well where to start. For everyone a divorce is one of those moments in life where you start questioning yourself....what did i do wrong for all these years?.........I did so much and why do i deserve to go through this after being there for everybody when i actually needed some support at some point and nobody was there for me...........immediately you start panicking about finances of course.........like having to see your kids on weekends or having to worry about how they will be when they are not with you..........will they do their homework's........will they eat properly..........will they go to bed in time since school is on tomorrow.......how they will react when you soon to be ex spouse will start bringing another person into the equation that you don't approve of.........well that's when my crusade started looking for a legal counsel and when i found Mr Salamone everything changed.......at first you are a little baffled when he shows us in his python boots driving his well deserved Lamborghini........you start thinking.....who is this guy......well my father always told me........judge the other person by his failures not by his successes......Bryan has so little ones that honestly at this point after knowing him for over 10 years......yes over 10 years now I don't even recall him having any that i know of! I remember the last time I was in Court... the infamous building that gives you the creeps that morning when you walk through the doors not knowing what to expect and all of the sudden he is there waiting for you (yes he is always on time) with his great smile, the only anchor of safety you were praying for while you had to take a day off from work concerned of what it will bring, and all of the sudden you have a sense of tranquility knowing he has your back. His confidence while he walks in the room is mesmerizing and the best part is that in few sentences he set the pace where the judge just listens to him while the counterpart is there waiting for the next unexpected statement fall on their heads like a hammer..........I will always remember the day Bryan walks in with the posture of a Greek Statue and another lawyer whispered in my ex lawyer..........."that's Bryan Salamone is he representing the defendant? He will bury your client" I was in the corridor listening to the conversation myself before going in front of the judge and i got goose bumps..........i still do today!.......you may wonder why after some time has passed I am doing this review.....Bryan just came out of a fiery car accident not so long ago and he is here with us despite all the odds.......he is not just one of those hungry lawyers we are all used to on long island (as a matter of fact his retainer is one of the lowest ones believe me....) he is there for you.......always......i just had a situation with my current wife's child support for her previous marriage that i had to help her with and i texted Bryan on his personal cellphone at 10:28PM and guess what..........he answered within minutes! Now tell me if there is ANY lawyer in the ENTIRE state of NEW YORK that would do that! He runs a very successful office in Melville and other locations and he had hundreds clients and he actually answered me way passed many people bed time! that's commitment, dedication, affection for his clients that goes beyond all the bullshit reviews you see on other so called lawyers websites! They show their veneers with bleach white teeth and while they are having their favorite steak at Peter Luger's on your tab they are too busy to answer especially in a such delicate moment of your life while you need to take some Benadryl just to fall asleep hoping that tomorrow for some magic your nightmares will disappear! Well don't go to CVS to get that and do yourself a favor and call him......the ladies at the office are absolutely marvellous.....you ask for an emergency call back and that's the only ONE call you have to make before Bryan in person calls you back. You are simply the best...........

He has very poor communication skills. Not only will Matt not return your phone calls or emails but he will not even respond to the other parties attorney. Talk about unprofessional! During the consultation he seems like he will get things done for you, but the second he gets his retainer money from you he stops caring about you. He gets his payday all up front so there is no way to hold him accountable. Something else that is just not right is that when we talk about the details of my divorce offer he just emails it to the other lawyer without giving me a chance to look it over first. The other party is always given a copy of everything their lawyer does for them and even has to send it to me so that I can see it!! Divorce is not an easy thing to go through and choosing him was a HUGE MISTAKE. I wanted someone to help me navigate my way through the divorce process and tell me what has to be done but instead I feel like I am blindly stumbling through the process alone while the other party has someone actually fighting for them.

Where to even start... ive been taken advantage by other lawyers who took my profession as a pay day, past two lawyers did nothing but take money. 1yr of family court and they didnt file any paperwork they were hired for, i contactes Mr.edwards firm explained my situation best way i can.. Mr.Edwards understood my position, said and i qoute "we're getting your son back" this statement was made exactly 48days ago..since then Mr.edwards has eliminated Supervised visits leaned against me. Where i was subject to see my son 2hrs on Thursday and 2hrs on friday. Total travel time was 7hr to 8hrs. For those 2 days. I did that for almost a yr.
Mr.edwards understood the importance of my case and how much my son means to me.. how my son has been in foster house for almost a yr.. as i qouted Mr.edwards... he eliminated the supervised visits in his 1st court date, i get to spend the entire weekend and every weekend with my son, i even have the rights to drop my son to school... im so thankful for Mr.edwards expertise, Legit the Best Lawyer..
My case isnt over yet. But i know Full victory is in sight by may/june i will have full custody.
All the praying landed us to Mr.edwards.
Im legit happy. My son counts the days. Hrs when we can see each other.. soon that will be exact what what my son and i want.
I wasted $17,500 with other lawyers and almost a yr with no results.. Mr.edwards did so much in 48days. Best decision for the fight.
If this was a boardgame Mr.edwards would be the strongest character on the board.

This review is not for the lawyer but for her Assistants my case started a year ago and it has complete STRESS with her Assistants you call and leave messages and they don't call you back to get anything done and when you do they rush you off the phone are always answered by a call center never by someone who works there. I wouldn't recommend this lawyer the stress is not worth itneither is the 2000 she charges to have to deal with does unprofessional Assistants.

I hired Daniel Perlman in June, 2014 for divorce/custody case, and at first he was helpful, although I should have suspected something was amiss when I wrote 90% of the affidavit myself. For the next 20 months, he went missing for 2-4 months at a time, completely ignoring my calls, texts, and emails. It did not matter how urgent the request—such as the most recent, wherein I needed a visitation change because the schedule my ex had insisted upon was so erratic and unstable that it made me unable to find childcare--he ignored my messages completely.
Earlier in the process, he would arrange a call or a meeting and not call or not show up. After months of completely abandoning the case, he would briefly surface on occasion and do something small such as send a short letter. However, the resurfacing was completely unpredictable and had no logic. He ignored urgent matters involving my child’s most basic well-being and occasionally responded to minor matters that required little time or work on his part.
After the first couple instances of what became a pattern, I requested that he draw up a document committing to a time frame and reasonable responsiveness—and simply doing his job, but he did not respond to this request. Nor did he respond to my requests for invoices, refunds, and the return of my documents.
This pattern of negligence has occurred 5-6 times over the past 20 months. At the moment, it has been 2 ½ months since he has responded to requests for specific actions such as writing a letter regarding my ex’s inappropriate references to the case in front of our child (a letter Mr. Perlman said he would write and then disappeared), my urgent request for specific changes to the visitation schedule so that I can find stable childcare, updating me on the case, and, of course, finally filing the custody motion.
For months and months I have begged him to file the custody motion that he originally said he would file in August, 2014. He ignored my requests despite the urgency--the fact that my child is suffering. He refused to respond to my requests for him to simply take this crucial and obvious fundamental step that needed to be taken 18 months ago. Now, his failure to do the most basic part of his job has resulted in the complete sabotage of my case because the amount of time that has passed will make it look to any judge as if there is no cause for a change in the informal custodial/visitation arrangement.
Further, Mr. Perlman is also aware that I suffer from a progressive neurological disease that is exacerbated by stress, and he has done little but make me literally sick from anxiety and helplessness regarding my child's well-being. I hired him in June, 2014; it is now March, 2016, and not one single step of progress has been made since the divorce papers were filed almost two years ago. He has still not filed the custody motion, and he has merely ignored my attempts to end the miserable arrangement by requesting bills and a refund of my retainer fee.
I am a single mother with a disability, and this is how Mr. Perlman has treated me, presumably working under the assumption that I am powerless to secure basic professional and humane treatment. I can document everything I have written here, and I want to do my part to warn other clients, especially women of modest means with children, to avoid this attorney at all costs.

Dror's assessment of my situation seemed the most realistic and I chose Dror based on those interviews and on a very high recommendation from another attorney. I highly recommend Dror and his team. I am involved in a tough divorce where a lot of money and legal custody are at stake. Dror has been great. Words cannot express how Milana got me through the toughest time of my life. My divorce was so complicated and emotionally charged and her calm demeanor helped me stay grounded. She truly cared about me and my children and gave me the strength to continue doing what was best for us, even when I threatened to run away to another country and just start a new identity. (It’s funny but seriously, it got that bad lmao)
