I’ve referred clients to Alicia Fastman over the years that were in need of a family law attorney. I’m a lawyer, but don’t practice family law so when I need a referral in that area Alicia is my go-to. She’s personable, attentive and respected among other lawyers in the area. I’ve seen Alicia use a collaborative approach but also go to war depending on the client’s needs and wants. I would not hesitate to call Alicia for all your divorce/custody needs. Julie was the attorney that brought my prolonged, nearly 2.5 year Court Master-involved divorce case to resolution. After two previous attorneys had gone on maternity leave, it could have been easy to become frustrated at the prospect of having the case transferred for a third time, however Julie assumed the case seamlessly and confidently assured me the case would continue to move along without disruption.

Zanita was a tremendous asset during a very tumultuous time for my family. She took the time to understand my situation and she provided good practical advice, beyond just legal advice, through the entire process. In a rapid exchange with another lawyer, Zanita demonstrated knowledge of the law that clearly surpassed the other lawyer. Zanita or Z as she likes to be called, took me through my divorce with a great deal of concern for me as well as for my children. Z didn't let my "hurry up, I just want it over" emotional responses to the divorce proceedings cost me in my sanity or in my settlement. She certainly is not the stereotypical lawyer yet with a combination of compassion for all sides (children have a side with her), toughness at the negotiation table and experience practicing law she is a lawyer I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends going through a divorce.

Rebecca Smith took my case and I honestly didn't think out of all I been through she would make it possible, I' have t seen my kids in about 10 months by the time I finally seen them because she did all she could, I filed for divorce and custody I won't get into my situation or story but I'm forever grateful for this woman, long story short I finally have my children back in my life, Rebecca made my life whole again and gave me more reason to keep fighting to do better , she worked with me didn't judge me basically took me under her wing and worked with me I couldn't stress enough how amazing this firm is I've never had an issue they have treated me with respect any questions I've asked via email they responded pretty fast, not always can everything be answered quickly they are lawyers and have other cases keep in mind but when they can it is pretty prompt , I would highly recommend her to anyone , she has a heart of gold and is extremely caring she has not a mean bone or heart in her I absolutely love her she again made me whole again!!!!

I retained Jill’s services in 2016 after my ex forced my son and I out of the house. Jill has been fighting for my son and I ever since. During the divorce Jill was able to find pin holes in the documents from opposing counsel that could have been detrimental to my future and finances. Her articulation is supreme in and out of the courtroom. When it came to custody court, Jill was diligent in ensuring we had all the documentation we needed, and walked me through the process with such patience. During the actual hearing, I was blown away with her performance! Kind and compassionate where need be, but also tenacious and dare I say tactfully ruthless when fighting for me. I continued to retain Jill’s services for all my current custody matters and future custody potentials. Since hiring Jill as my attorney, she has displayed attention to the numerous intricacies within my high conflict custody case. She quickly became familiar with all the moving parts and players that have been introduced over a lengthy period of time. Choosing the right lawyer is obviously a very crucial step in such a weighted circumstance and Brian C Jordon absolutely has been the best choice. Brian was the consummate professional, extremely communicative and accessible. Brian found the very best options and walked us through our choices and help us to arrive at the best choice for our situation. Brian was well versed in all letters of the law and has positive professional relationships with everyone throughout the legal process to also help streamline getting to our goal. Brian was very personable and had a good energy that showed a great deal of compassion. Those personal touches are often missed in these type of exchanges but Brian was extremely thorough and dotted every "i" and crossed every "t"! We felt confident in Brian and when dealing with the stress and confusion of any legal matter, having a legal soldier on your team is definitely a relief and a benefit. I fully recommend Brian as an attorney you can trust with your life or the life of your loved one. Prices were fair and customary based on what other attorneys charge for the same predicament.
Legal fees/attorneys are expensive, freedom isn't really free but I felt like it was money well spent, that's important too, especially in these inflated and difficult economic times. Brian ticked all the right boxes! We are extremely GRATEFUL for all of his service and support
I think he should run for Governor or something political and he'd have our vote!
Additionally, but maybe less important, he was the best dressed lawyer in court, great style and a great added representation for us and our case. It was a comfort that his self representation was a measurement of how he'd represent us.
It was important for us to leave an honest and forthright review because if you have an issue, you're going to need Brian. He's one of the good guys!

The Johnson Firm has been incredible, they have represented me for years. They’ll give you a roundabout price, expect to pay about 5 times that amount. They’ll charge you $56 to read a 6 word email. Apparently it takes them 12 minutes to read it. Charged me about $4300 for one court appearance that took about an hour when that was supposed to be for my entire divorce proceedings. Use someone else is my advice.

Debra Mehaffie and her law farm is very unstable. Two attorneys quit in a matter of one month. There is no professionalism and Debra talks over you. There is no accountability. Do not hire this law firm to represent you in any matter. She is also money hungry and the billing department is not correct when sending statements. If I could recommend a 0 it would be negative 0. The treatment and tone of emails from this law firm and Debra Mehaffie herself is disrespectful in so many ways.

I had a full blown custody trial with Ashley. I have a lot of experience in the courtroom. In fact I fired my previous attorney I had and hired her to take over the case. In my case Ashley was the last line of defense for my children. I say my case but this wasn’t my case. This case was my children’s case. Ashley has impacted me in a way I can’t explain. She did exactly what I hoped for and went above and beyond for my children. I don’t know where her career will lead her but she will have me as a client to whatever law firm she may be with for the rest of her career. She is an amazing trial attorney which is truly the highest of compliment I can give to any attorney. Any attorney can settle cases as it doesn't require a tenth of the effort and work that a trial would take. A trial attorney is where the elite stand and that is where Ashley is in my book. She put countless of hours of work into my case and all of that showed on display during my custody trial. Yes we won the trial but more importantly it was her presentation, compassion, and hard work that impressed me the most. She is a quick thinker on her feet which is another ingredient to be a great trial attorney. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Never once did this woman even try to "get to know" me, my children, and our needs and wants. As such, I lost primary custody. She never fought very diligently for our side in mediation, giving in to all of the other side's demands. Then, on top of EVERYTHING else, she left the Myers Law Group to become employed by "the ex's" law firm, Cordell & Cordell with no notice!!! They *say* that my info, little as it is, will be confidential, but we ALL have heard of "water cooler chat," now, haven't we?? I do NOT recommend her.

I’m not sure about any of the other lawyers but do not go to Crystal A Yautz. She literally charged me 2,000$ and didn’t do the one thing I asked her to do which was to get text messages that says that I threatened somebody. She literally took the easiest way out possible! She has zero litigation skills at all!!! I will now hire a new lawyer and keep you guys posted on the out come. This lady once again is a terrible lawyer!!

After many google searches, and endless phone calls with other lawyers, literally about to give up hope, Karen Reynolds family law popped up on google. Let me preach about Karen and our story for a moment; because I will forever swear by Karen Reynolds. She is the most patient, kindhearted, attentive, thorough lawyer we have had the pleasure of working with. My fiancé has had an ongoing uphill custody battle with the mother of his child. Not only would the mother not let the child see his father; but she wouldn’t even allow a simple phone call for Father’s Day. Or a call on his birthday. because a “5yr old boy has just such a busy schedule; there was no time or room to fit in dad.”That is what the mother told the father in many messages. From the countless messages of him begging to just speak with his son. Sadly, I hopelessly watched the man who I love and admire for his strength and resilience crumble and break. this woman singlehandedly, who he once loved, vowed to spend the rest of his life with; the same woman who he created a beautiful little boy with destroyed any hope he had of ever seeing his child again. The same man who I 1000 percent trust with my 3 boys, wasn’t allowed to even speak to his child. The mother ripped even his legal rights away. Finally my fiancé listened to me, and went against his “better” judgment. (He’s had really bad luck in the past with previous lawyers.). we saved for the lawyer, and in March met with Karen. We told her his story. She listened and was very very thorough with the history, paperwork, and attentiveness to the matter. There wasn’t a time of day Karen didn’t respond to a call or email. Almost a 9mths since my fiancé last saw his child; months of back and forth emails, phone calls, consolidations, court hearings, piles and piles of paperwork. Karen’s motherly frustrations, patience, and instinct with my fiancé was award winning to say the least. With every bump Along the way, she never gave up on my fiancé; she never told him it was impossible. Actually, she told him it was inevitable; he was going to see his son again. At some points my fiancé started to lose hope. But between Karen and myself, we kept him fighting. Now, my fiancé gets every other weekend with his child. He has his legal rights back; which shouldn’t have been taken to begin with. He can show up to his extra curricular activities. He can FaceTime with his son privately. His son finally gets to meet his step brothers that he has been hearing on those calls. He gets holidays. He gets to be apart of his child life again... all thanks to Karen. Karen made the impossible, possible again. We still call on her for the most minuscule things; because the mother makes it absolutely impossible to work with. But again, Karen is still right there, sending email after email. We couldn’t be any more grateful for her. trust me, our battle isn’t over yet. She will also be handling his divorce, too.

If you want to give thousands of your hard earned dollars to lawyers who will provide absolutely no service in exchange, this is the firm for you! Six months and the only attempt at any actual service was nullified by their inability to type an address correctly. If they deign to grace you with a reply to an email, it will only address the first sentence. If they actually answer their phone, you'll be treated to an empty promise of a call back.
You'd do better lighting your money on fire under the full moon than entrusting these scam artists.
