April is an excellent attorney, knowledgeable, personal, well spoken, and trustworthy. She is well versed in her field. She kept me in the loop and walked me through the entire process. I remember the day I was referred to Mrs.Gordon I was in a very dark space, 100% depressed, and ready to just give up. Mrs. Gordon listened to my concerns and situations. I had multiple child support cases that were very expensive causing me to constantly fall behind. Not to mention I suffered a major injury yet bills and child support continued to pile up. I didn't know what I was going to do. Needless to say Mrs. Gordon had a plan and she began work on a long and lengthy process. I'll spare those details, let's just say I have never had the experience of having a lawyer that was compassionate, caring, and an just an all around good person. I highly recommend hiring Mrs. Gordon. Not only did she help me get through some very tuff times she got my payments reduced to some thing I can manage. I came in to speak with Mrs. Gordon about a case of mistaken identity on a DNA test. She was extremely understanding and very empathetic about the whole situation. When it came time for court we spoke briefly then she spoke with the judge. When she came back to speak with she informed that I would have to take one more DNA test and she explained my situation to the judge. She assured me that this would be the only time I would have to take another one. Fast forward to the next court date and after the judge does roll call and spoke with the clerk she tells me everything has been dismissed and I'm free to go.

I was maliciously attacked by a room mate that knew ways in which to manipulate the boundaries of the law for his personal spite towards me. Having been referred to by a neighbor I sought out Mrs Gordon for legal help after this room mate filed a false order of protection against me. Upon meeting and reviewing my case, I had instant confidence in her ability. That confidence showed in the court room as in the middle of proceedings, the judge stopped the hearing and dismissed all allegations that had been placed on me calling all charges against me ridiculous.

As in the last review I too hired Edward at the lowest point in my life. He was very good with me and let me know what my options were right away. She had a ruthless lawyer and he handled her very well. We all know the system isn’t set up to settle these issues easily and if your spouse is uncooperative it can be tough, but Edward calmed me and kept me going. He is a great guy and friend. I hired Mr.Porter at one of my lowest moments in life during the divorce, he was there to calm and give me real and honest advice and expectations about what was to come.. He was there every step of the way for me when i felt so alone in more ways then one.. I would refer anyone i know to Mr.Porter who is going through a divorce. Its nice to have someone who will walk you through the steps of what is going on when you have no clue and feel like you are at the mercy of a stranger, well with Mr.Porter the stranger was a friend within 30 minutes.

I hired Candyce Leeper in 2018 to take care of a real estate matter. I had entered into a contract to purchase a home from a private party. I gave her my down payment, paid the property taxes and insurance to her directly and never missed a payment. During the horrible storms we had in 2015 my home took on major damage. Considering my name was not yet on the deed (which was wrong) I was unable to get insurance on my own, Upon contacting the party I was purchasing from about the damage, she called the insurance and they came out and accessed the damage.
I continued to call the owner because I had not heard anything about the damage and she would constantly put me off.
All the while I had black mold growing on the ceiling in my laundry room, not to mention water leaking from an overhead light in the laundry room when it rained. I contacted Ms. Leeper and hired her to represent me and my interest in the property.
Ms. Leeper found out that the insurance company had paid the claim directly to the party I was buying the home from and they did NONE of the repairs.
Ms. Leeper also learned that due to the insurance pay out in 2015. The insurance had been cancelled and the taxes were not being paid! And no other insurance company would insure the house with the current damage.
Long story short, the house ended up becoming condemned due to the black mold Ms. Leeper was able to get my down payment back, all of the insurance monies I had paid over the 4 year period, the taxes I had paid over the 4 year period, as well as damages for my personal property that had been ruined. I was also released from my obligation to buy the house due to breach of contract on the part of the seller.
Ms. Leeper and her staff were superb in responding to my phone calls and walking me through the entire process. I was treated with the utmost respect and really felt that Ms. Leeper was looking out for my best interest.
I have since hired her to set up my will and trust.

This has been my first experience meeting with a lawyer. Surprisingly, my meeting with Jason went so well. It was very informative and educational. After listening to my situation patiently, he advised me on what steps I need to take to protect my children and myself in my pending divorce case.

I went to him concerning a custody issue after I was pretty much told by another lawyer that my children's emotional feelings were irrelavent & I had no argument as long as they were not coming home bruised or physically broken. He took the time to talk with my children. He fought for my children's rights & he is - in my book - a child advocate. He was very informative & great with the kids. He made a scary situation not so scarey. I trusted him with my children and they are getting the help they need. He made the law work for the little people.
