This is a very disrespectful law firm, they are very sloppy with their paperwork, emailing the wrong documents to the improper clients, poor response times, problems with payment, and their staff (sierra is the problem employee I spoke with) is grossly incompetent. Worst law firm in the country not just the state. Convinced me to accept a deal (for significantly less than they had originally advised I settle for and well below their “do not accept less than” prep talk) in mediation assuring me I would not be billed further and opposing attorney would handle all closing paperwork. Hen billed me again saying he didn’t do it right, then when I objected and reminded them of what was said, they doubled the bill and sent it again. ANYONE BUT THIS LAW FIRM, I was warned about them but unfortunately was too far in to back out and hire someone else. Any time I confronted them about anything they just threaten to withdraw and keep your money.

James is a nice man and a seasoned lawyer. My experience with him was unacceptable, however, and I was forced to find a new lawyer. There are four areas that you should address with James, in writing, before hiring him:
1) Timeliness. He was impossible to contact by phone, so I was forced to use only email. His email responses took, on average, about 2 weeks. It usually required a second email from me to get him to finally respond. It took him over a month to create a cover letter. He offered an excuse about “a big court case” early on that caused the delays, but his timeliness never improved.
2) Billing practices. I never got a bill, statement, or log from him, ever. I asked for monthly statements at least 3 times. After pulling the plug with his firm about 1/3 of the way into the process, he kept the $5K deposit, simply claiming “There is not a reserve to be refunded”. Note that my case was fairly straightforward and I only met with time twice and never talked to him on the phone.
3) Accuracy. As noted, the cover letter he wrote delayed the process by over a month. But aside from that, he misspelled my ex’s name in it. It was then that I knew I had made a mistake in hiring him.
4) Infrastructure. His legal assistant was much more attentive and detail oriented than James himself. Unfortunately, the firm had computer and storage problems during the time I was with them which may have contributed to the delays and general incompetence.
I would not recommend hiring James. You can certainly find a better lawyer in the area he serves.

September 12th, 2022 police arrived at my door to tell me they were investigating sexual claims made against me, outlandish as they were I immediately panicked because as everyone knows, once these rise against you, you’re pretty much screwed. I immediately reached out to any attorney and was recommended Vindicate law, I spoke to the receptionist and explained the case and was assigned Carrie Fulton Brown. She accepted my case. The path to freedom was long and arduous. After the arraignment they told me I was facing 60 years in prison. Many continuations later, my anxiety and stress were at an all time high. Me and Carrie never really talked to each other about the case itself except a few times as my case was entirely hearsay, but because of the fact that it was from a minor the case was stacked against me 10 fold. Communication with Carrie was very rough, as most people sitting in the hot seat just want a shred or a glimmer of positivity but Carrie did NOT deliver on that front in the slightest. But that was okay, because she was dedicated to working against the state in a screwed up system. Most of the beginning of my case I knew most people and even Carrie didn’t believe me when I say I didn’t do it. Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record.
All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Mrs Kraine has been my lawyer for 5 years now, through 4 cases. When I first met her she was very quick and to the point. I was not sure she had heard me but I trusted my friend who had told me that she was the best and that I wouldn't want to go up against her. Mrs Kraine has never failed to prove just how true that is. That fighting, direct, to the point spirit that you see when you meet her is 100 times stronger when she is in court fighting what she calls " the big bad wolf for you". My last case I was served a 600 page document with multiple accounts of the other party claiming contempt of court. The lawyers both asked for more time to go through the paperwork. Then the judge asked for an extension on the case to go through the 1000 pages that were at her desk by the time it got to her. It took a month and a half for it to go to court. I thought I was done for. The other party had one of top top law firms fighting for them. But Mrs Kraine and her team never gave up on me. They went through every single page multiple times and tuned many of their own words against them. She knows what to fight and what not to fight. In the end the judge found no contempt of court. As Mrs Kraine always does, she will call after a case and celebrate all the little victories in the case. It feels great to see her get so excited about winning a case. It is important to document everything, get her the information she needs quickly and stick with the same lawyer through all your cases. I have won every case with Mrs Kraine fighting for me. I am so glad I chose her from the very beginning not knowing I was going to have to go through so much.

Based on some reviews, I was hesitate to have a consultation with Ms. Krane. However, I glad I did and hired her to help me prepare documents in my case. I could not have prepared them on my own. Ms. Krane took the time to explain each and every documents and what it was for and why I had to respond to each document. She helped me prepare a response and get them filed with the court. While Ms. Krane does have a very direct approach, I found it provided me with what I could expect in my case and how the case would proceed. Ms. Krane is very honest in providing information to her client to help them in the best way possible.

Refused to use evidence, exhibits and witnesses that could have and should have slammed shut my case on an abusive and Narcissistic ex-wife. David Kitchell was retained several years ago for a complex relocation case that spanned a lot of court activity, depositions, mediation, and arbitration sessions. David was prompt in his communication, did absolutely everything I expected and hoped for, and the outcome was in my favor. He is highly experienced and professionally firm in upholding our position. He has done an absolutely fantastic job at representing my point of view and that of my family. This case had a lot of curveballs but none posed a problem for David.
It was bitter-sweet asking Mr. Kitchell to withdraw as it has been a pleasure working with him (And his paralegal, Kim). Kim is an amazing paralegal that kept me up to date on everything, was prompt in getting things filed, copies issued, and when David was out for trials or otherwise unavailable, coordinated with partners to get prompt responses.
Not only do I highly recommend David, I have already referred a couple friends his way with custody matters. My only regret is that I hadn't hired him sooner, and instead went through several "high power" firms before landing on David.

I recently consulted with Damien regarding a severance agreement I had already signed after being laid off by my employer. I used Bliss Law Group, specifically Riley Moos, to represent me in an especially contentious protection order against my husband (and father of my only child) after calling the police on him for the third time in 2 years. The night that I left was the final straw when he tried to break down the bedroom door to get to me. My ex was extremely upset when I filed for the protection order, vowing that by the time the hearing was finished, he would have full custody of our daughter....As you can imagine, I was quite scared!!!! A lot of people say that protection orders are easy to get but ours was much more complex. When I left my husband, the only place I could go, was back to him, or to a homeless/abused women's shelter. I would not allow my daughter to suffer either one of those situations and decided to take her out of state, to my hometown, where we could stay with family while we could pick up the pieces of our broken lives. The decision to leave the state was best for my daughter but it added greatly to the potential repercussions of leaving my husband. My attorney, Riley Moos, swooped in and saved the day. It's hard to describe, but from the moment I started talking to her, I knew we would win that protection order; I could tell when I talked to her that she had read all of the 25 page protection order I'd written recounting the treatment I'd endured over the years, and I knew that she was 100% invested in protecting myself and my daughter. She believed in my cause and she pursued it like a mother bear protecting her cubs. In the final protection order hearing, the Commissioner stated that there was a preponderance of evidence of coercive control. He ordered my husband undergo a substance abuse evaluation and domestic abuse evaluation. And here, I must applaud my ex-husband, because he allowed this feedback to change him. He's been going to AA 5x a week for the past year, has gotten sober, and has turned his life around. None of this would have been possible without Riley. I had previously talked to a pro-bono attorney and could tell that she had no interest in *fighting* for me, or even in reading the lengthy protection order I had written. If it hadn't been for my attorney, Riley Moos, my daughter and I wouldn't be safe in our new home, and my ex-husband wouldn't have turned his life around!!!

They put you through an inital intake process which is positive. I wanted a quick end to my divorce and was happy to compromise to make it happen. Our goals seemed to align.
Unfortunately this firm provided poor council during the first phone call with the attorney. Luckily this did not lead to a financial move that would have put me in violation of a court order. Later the attorney wanted me to provide documentary evidence he had previously advised against in an aparent 180. Such documentation was previously claimed to put me in legal liability. What can I believe?
Very disappointing.
Divorce is tough enough. I hired an attorney becuase I am no legal expert and I wanted a quick, mediated end to my marriage. Instead I get bad and changing advice. Plenty of good reviews of these guys. Hope I'm an outlier.
