I regret ever hiring Soleymani Law Firm to represent me in my family law case. At the time, I was new to the legal system and trusted their promises that they would fight for me and my son. Unfortunately, their actions did not align with their words.
My initial consultation with Deborah Soleymani was full of assurances about how her firm would stand by me. However, once they took my $10,000 retainer, their level of service completely changed. The attorney assigned to my case, Emily Hetu, was unprofessional, lacked communication skills, and did not advocate for my son or me in any meaningful way. The worst part? She did not even show up for a crucial hearing. Instead, they sent a substitute attorney without any notice, leaving me completely unprepared and vulnerable in court. This attorney had no background on my case, did not defend me, and ultimately, because of their incompetence, I lost in court.
On top of their negligence, they managed to burn through my entire retainer in less than two months while doing minimal work. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to claim I still owed them money for a single hearing that cost me $10,000—an outrageous and unjustifiable fee for the lack of service provided.
This law firm lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic ethics. They do not fight for their clients; instead, they take advantage of people who are already in vulnerable legal situations. If you’re considering hiring them—DON’T. I wish I had read a review like this before wasting my time and money on them.
There are far better family law attorneys out there who actually care about their clients. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Soleymani Law Firm.

When we first bought the 2015 Nissan Murano , we thought this was our last car . Unfortunately we started having trouble with the Forward Collission Avoidance System , which defeated the Cruise Control . After many , many attempts to have this repaired , we contacted O'Connor Law Group . We had experience with them on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe , which we used the Lemon Law to return it . O'Connor Law Group advised us on what to do with the Hyundai and said if they gave us trouble , then call them and they would take our case . This was not the case with Nissan . They had us going in circles and did everything they could to deter us in our endeavors . O'Connor Law Group took over and we worked with them dilligently . After many hurdles we perservered and won our case . David and his team are the best , getting us every dollar due . I can't thank them enough for their hard work . If you ever need a great Lemon Law Attourney they are the best . I would not hesitate to call on them again if I need to . Sincerely , Lou Paltza .

Mark O'Connor and his team handled a very difficult case for me. I asked Toyota twice to take my 2018 Highlander back under the Lemon Law. It was declined twice. Even though there wasn't much precedent regarding my issues, Mark and his team went to work. They found all sorts of technical history to support my case. That, coupled with the expert he retained to assess and record the irregularities of the car, carried the day. Toyota had to buy the car back and pay me a substantial sum of money. The night of Nov. 14, 2022 was one of the darkest nights of our lives. A city water main had burst and destroyed our home – for the second time in two years. We had lost everything, twice, and were surviving second by second, minute by minute, wondering how we were going to pick up the pieces and move forward.

I contacted Michelle several months ago with an inquiry regarding my possible lemon. I approached Michelle because her website was extremely clear on what a lemon was, how she serves her community, wonderful ratings, and how easy it was to email her through her website. After providing her with some information about my car, she responded to my email with a phone call on the same day! This was extremely pleasing to know she was monitoring her emails and reviewing the inquiries. We talked over the phone and she provided me with advice and tips on moving forward. In addition, she was honest. She let me know initially that I had a lemon case but a minor case and explained to me how to proceed forward. With her advice, I moved forward with the tactics provided by Michelle on pushing back against the manufacturer myself. To my surprise, it was a success! Michelle's advice worked and the manufacturer agreed to repurchase my car! I was stunned and ever so thankful for her help. I updated Michelle on the success and she was just as happy as I. To be honest, I felt awful because she just helped someone who could have been a monetary client. But that didn't matter to Michelle, she was just as excited as I was and even offered to review the repurchase offer! I was waiting for a green light when my car was hit and pushed about 60 yards back, into a curb. The irony is that my insurance company also insured the person who was at fault. Y’all, I was extremely skeptical about this bankruptcy thing through resolve. With everything being out of town from where I live and then having to talk to a bunch of different people every time. After getting sued by a debt collector for a debt, I researched how to fill out a response and found Ian's web site. I found the website very useful and this enabled me to file an initial response. Fast forward almost one year, and now I find out there is a trial date coming up in a few weeks. I was never notified by the court about the scheduled trial date until I received a "notice to appear" from law firm "M", hence I had to scramble at the last minute and figure out what to do. Nine days before the scheduled trial, I contacted Ian for a phone consultation and despite being under a handicap with no time to use normal lawyer tactics, he took the case and would represent me at trial. Five days before the trial, law firm "M" sent me 60-70 pages of legal paperwork with "evidence" and "witnesses" they intended to use at the trial. I faxed this stuff over to Ian, and he said there was a chance he could settle this with ZERO payment. His reasons were simple, he knew their "witness" from previous cases and he knew the opposing lawyers, hence this great knowledge worked to my benefit. On Wednesday, five days before trial, Ian offered to settle with law firm "M" for ZERO. The next day (Thursday), four days before the scheduled trial, the case was settled in my favor for NOTHING. I did not have to pay a cent. I cannot thank Ian enough for a great job under real time pressure and such short notice. Ian's confidence was spot on, and his great expertise and knowledge of collection law enabled me to put this behind me. I encourage anyone reading this to hire Ian, and protect yourself from these predator lawsuits

Definitely would not recommend using Judge Amy Pellman for mediation services. She was incredibly biased from the start and made an unprofessional comment within 10 minutes of the session starting. Should’ve ended it there instead of wasting an entire day making zero progress on any kind of settlement. She was only interested in assisting one side on their goals, and did not advocate for me on any points. She might’ve been a great judge but clearly needs some more experience in mediation, where the purpose is to try and reach an agreement between both parties- not decide who she thinks is right and pursue their interests only. We hired another mediator after this failed session and had immediate success with them.

When my dad got sick we didn't know what to do. His finances were a mess and we couldn't afford the care he needed. We had spoken to social workers, advocates, the hospital, the rehab facility, but no one could give us clear instructions on what to do... only advice on how to fill out some forms. Jim Whitworth did an AMAZING job as my lemon law attorney. He not only got my my downpayment back plus ALL of my payments (for about a year) that I had made on my lemon Volvo. I had used another lemon law attorney in the past before finding out about Jim Whitworth, and Jim is night and day waaaay better! On my last case with the other lawyer, that other attorney didn't get me any back payments and agreed to a "mileage offset" which significantly reduced my final settlement. I didn't even know that my prior lawyer hadn't gotten me a good settlement on that prior case until I saw the amazing settlement that Jim was able to get for me in the case he just wrapped up for me. I am an attorney myself and they say that attorneys are difficult clients to have, but let me say that Jim always rapidly replied to my concerns via email whenever I had them and kept me advised and up to date as needed. We have been clients of Mike Razo since February 2024 and it was the best decision we have ever made. He was not the first lawyer that represented us in the case for custody of our daughter.
