If you are looking for an attorney, I HIGHLY recommend Tony Stuart. I cannot say enough good things about Tony Stuart and his work and knowledge of the law. I hired Mr. Stuart a few years ago to take on a large insurance company that I wanted to sue for fraud, misrepresention, et cetera. Tony took on my case and I was so impressed with his work, his diligence, and the way he worked with me and explained things to me. He found out amazing things in his investigations and worked hard for me. We settled out of court and Tony got me $1.7 million!
If you want a good, competent, no-nonsense, no BS attorney, I suggest you call Mr Stuart, and I say this not only as his client, but as a court reporter. I have been a deposition/court reporter in this town for over 20 years and I can say without hesitation that Mr. Stuart is one of the better attorneys I have seen get the job done.
If I ever need an attorney again, I would most definitely call him again.

In the six year battle with my health insurance company over unpaid claims, I had no better ally than Tony Stuart. I have been in the unfortunate position of having to pursue litigation several times in my career when my property has been damaged. A silver lining in this cloudy process has been the opportunity to work with Adam Hoover. In my experience, stretching back over more than six years and multiple cases, Adam has consistently demonstrated excellent performance on many levels. While by and large, all lawyers have attended law school and passed the bar examination, not all of them have legal minds which innately grasp, interpret and apply the law to the set of facts particular to a given case. This quality is more than simply an enviable skill; it bears directly upon a client's experience during the litigation experience and ultimately the cost burden born by the client. This manifests in reductions of redundant work, excessive research and surplus discovery. In addition to the time and cost savings associated with thoroughly understanding issues and applicable laws in a case, Adam is mindful of the financial burden costly litigation places on clients. I never felt that Adam “nickel and dimed" me or overbilled me in any way. In fact, I know he is very conservative with his time keeping and while accurate, certain items on the bill are marked "no charge".
Adam clearly places my best interest, as a client, as his top priority. He has demonstrated a consistent willingness to try to win my cases early in the lawsuit lifecycle. He has achieved an impressive level of success to those ends. That not only saves me the cost of protracted discovery and trials in some instances, but also allows me to devote my efforts to growing my business rather than litigating. Although he could bill three or four times more fees by taking a case through discovery and trial, he places his ethical obligation to zealously represent me above his personal profit motive.
The last but certainly not least important area where Adam has distinguished himself in my experience is his accessibility. Even when he has other cases going to trial or experiencing a producing a heavy workload he still responds quickly to messages I leave and takes the time to answer my questions. Due to his outstanding legal ability, conscientious regard for his client’s well being and high ethical standards, i have, and will continue to recommend him to my friends and associates who find themselves in need of representation and can’t afford to lose.

Igor has been in my corner the entire time I have been in dispute with the IRS. I spoke with Andy on multiple occasions regarding completely different advice. One was for someone that received a DUI and another for a person legally separating with kids involved. Although I know him personally, he was very professional, as he always is. He never gave the impression that "possibly" could happen but more of the statistics to what the outcome may be and that every case is different and special on its own. Sharon Glassey, and her partner Chris Smith, recently handled a situation for me that could not have turned out better. Chris was involved in the beginning, explaining everything in detail and patiently answering all my questions. Sharon became involved midway and took it to the finish line, without the need to file a suit.

It's a it challenging to write a review when you can't provide specifics about the nature of our business with Elizabeth Green, but we contacted her firm at the recommendation of our doctor when our insurance provider refused to cover a medically necessicary hospital stay. I met Douglas through a referral by my friend. I never thought I would be needing his help but when my vehicle (SUV) gave me headaches , I said I must call Douglas. The minute I told him my case and the times my van broke down, he was eager and was really willing to help me. I told him that I needed to talk to my husband first and so, we patiently waited for him. I bought a factory-certified 2017 Kia Sorento in fall 2018 from a local dealer.
In June 2023 at 55,000 miles, I first noticed a burnt oil smell when driving my car. The Kia developed an oil consumption problem and started burning 1-quart of oil internally each week, without any external visible trace.
I took my car to the Carlsbad Kia dealer, who performed all the service on it, and explained this latest problem. I brought it there several times through the end of 2023, hoping for resolution.
While still under factory warrant, the dealer said there was little they could do for me. They advised me to drive the car until the engine died and gave me the phone number to report my problem to Kia America HQ.
Likewise, Kia America pushed back and said I need to resolve it through the dealer. Feeling frustrated, I filed a complaint with the federal highway agency, NHTSA.
In January 2024, a family member had problems with a new hybrid Jeep Wrangler he bought and enlisted help from San Diego Lemon Law attorney Doug Sohn. That family member encouraged me to contact Doug’s office to see if they could also help my case.
In late January, I followed-up and filed an inquiry on the law firm’s website. One week later, they contacted me to set up an initial background call with attorney Doug Sohn.
I explained the whole problem to Doug who said he’d research this problem with other Kia owners and report back to me if he felt we had a valid case.
In February, Doug contacted me after his research, he felt I had a valid claim and agreed to take my case. We held a brief follow-up call to review how their firm proceeds on these cases, how valuation of my vehicle and their compensation works, and sent me forms to sign.
His staff asked me to submit several documents about my purchase of the car, title, service receipts, etc. Two weeks later, Doug provided me with initial draft of his letter to Kia America, outlining my case as supported by his research of this oil problem with Kia and Hyundai vehicles. His letter requested that they buy back my car, based on my damaged engine and unreliability of the frequent need for oil.
In April, my relative settled his claim with Jeep through Doug’s help and received full reimbursement for his problematic new vehicle.
In May, we received Kia’s acceptance of Doug’s proposal to buy back my Kia Sorento. I was overjoyed, with a great sense of relief on that news. The law firm warned me that Kia is not the fastest to resolve these cases and said it would take about 120 days to be completed.
As I drove the car for another four months, I kept replenishing oil into the engine every 1 to 2 weeks based on my driving. The car was becoming more unreliable, and it actually blew a cylinder during my last month of ownership.
By October, Kia finally arranged a date for me turn-in my car at the local Kia dealer, working with a 3rd party firm who handles these arrangements for Kia America. In early November, the law firm received payment from Kia, and Doug sent my check for agreed settlement amount.
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the law firm’s detailed follow-through and steady communication. The staff kept me informed regularly on the progress of my claim.
If you have a ‘lemon’ problem with your vehicle, I highly recommend contacting San Diego Lemon Law Attorney. Doug Sohn has decades of experience dealing with auto makers on their defective vehicles, and he’ll fight on your behalf to make it right for you! You’ll lay out No Funds for their service, as they are reimbursed by the auto manufacturers.

Throughout the course of our litigation, Mr. Ostwald was extremely considerate of our plight. We had never been involved in any legal matters previous to our lawsuit so it was an extremely trying and difficult time. We were always kept up to date and totally informed. He made the whole "nightmare" tolerable. Part of our case was an area of law that he was not familiar with, i.e., equine law. His knowledge of medical malpractice was exceptional and he was able to combine the two areas with ease. Lou saved us, we were taken advantage of by the dealer finance company and Lou had their game! No other attorney could have turned things around for us the way Lou did, that much I know. Got pulled over for expired registration tag and lead to a DUI Check which i had barely drank and being in Irvine with IPD doesn't help much either, as they push and push with their aggressive tactics to get you to do all they ask. I received a DUI, even though I don't think I was drunk. I was pulled over after leaving a club in Hollywood. The officer pulled me over and said I was driving too fast and then continued to do a sobriety check on me.
