I had a previous issue with a family member filing for bankruptcy, and because I had a card in my name (which was never used) on one of the accounts that was covered in the paperwork, the collection agency tried to come after me for the debt. I contacted Therese Harris after being harassed daily by collectors. I explained my situation and she immediately helped me. She was professional and knowlegable but also very caring and thoughtful in her understanding of my predicament. She explained the process thoughoughly, and kept me informed of the progress. I was eventually awarded 3000 paid by the debt collectors due to violation fines. I had an awesome experience with a lawyer who believed in my case, and fought for me.

The best! I was involved in a car accident and got injured. After interviewing a few attorneys I decided to go with Joseph based on his knowledge, patience and responsiveness. He was great throughout the process and helped me within a few months to get the maximum that my policy allowed for (the other driver who hit me didn't have insurance). Knowing that he was handling everything himself made me feel much better throughout the process. Hopefully this will be my last accident but I won't hesitate to use him again in the future.

I was rear ended by a pickup truck pretty badly and was injured. I was recommended to attorney Joseph by a friend who used him in the past and gave him a call. Joseph was very patient from day one and throughout the process, who took about three-four months. After hiring him he sent me to his chiro and dealt directly with the insurnace. When the insurance wanted a recorded statement from me, which got me a little nervous he coached me through it and made it easy. We met face to face just once, when I came to pick up my check. He did a great job and I would highly recommend for someone who was involved in an accident.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Scott for quite a while. I met him through my mother a long time ago and have used Scott for 2 different cases I had. One of the cases he was able to dismiss of a City suit against me in NY and did not have to pay anything. The City was suing me for over 225,000. This saved my life. I appreciate him so much. The other case he helped was a mediation and we came out with a great outcome on that one as well. When ever i have any sort of legal questions he is there to answer them for me. If he doesn't know or is not in the specialty that he practices he will refer it out to someone that he trusts and can and will take care of the problem.

I reached out to Kaas Law Firm following a multi-car accident that I was involved in.

I would like to thank Mr. D. Schultz VERY much for his kind help when I had a few important questions regarding my small claims case. It was a very difficult situation, as I could not retain an attorney, as the amount involved was too small. Mr. Schultz was very understanding and answered the questions I had in regard to technicalities. I won the case ! I had won already, but the defendant appealed and retained an attorney. It was a very tough fight. I am VERY grateful for the help from Mr. Schultz, who listened very patiently to my questions. The car I purchased kept having problems that could not be repaired (continous break failure, air conditioner/heater did not work, windows got stuck). The dealer was able to make some repairs but I had to keep taking it back for the breaks. Jemal was very helpful and thorough all the way through until my case was resolved. I was very pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and follow through. I always knew the progress of the case and never had a doubt that I had the right lawyer. When I was younger, I received a Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Sandy was able to get the charge dismissed. As a young adult, I wrongfully received a speeding ticket. I recorded the entire encounter with the police and was able to provide Sandy with the video along with other notes. Once again, she was able to get the charge dismissed. She spoke with the police officer before the case was brought to trial and convinced the officer to drop the charge. Sandy is very knowledgeable and an expert criminal attorney. I appreciated Sandy’s honesty regarding the unique situation of each case and her straightforward communication throughout the process. I wanted to take the time to say that I highly recommend Sandy Rabadi if you're in need of an attorney. I had been charged with a DUI back in February in Burbank and Sandy was successful in not only working the plea down to a wet reckless, but also in getting the fines and accompanying alcohol classes waived as well. I found Sandy to be extremely personable and professional throughout the entire process. My name is Jacques Delacroix. I am a retired professor of Management. I live in Santa Cruz, California with my wife, Krishna Delacroix who is an artist. Recently, we went to John D. Laughton, A Professional Law Corporation in Monterey, California for help to deal with the complex and forbidding business of making end-of-life legal preparations. We dealt entirely with Brandie Luis Esq. ,and with the pleasant office staff person (whose name escapes me right now because, well, I am writing a will am I not?)
Ms. Luis deployed incomparable patience and perseverance in dealing with our passivity (and perhaps, with our unconscious resistance). She guided us skillfully through the meanders of legal dispositions we did not even suspected to exist. As a result of her quiet efforts, my wife and I now think that we have done all the right things with respect to our offspring and with respect to the world at large. We believe that thanks to Ms Luis, our passing will not trouble much the peace of those we leave behind. We even think we will leave behind us a slight wake of benevolence. Those are satisfying and probably rare feelings.
Ms Luis ' disposition is so conscientious and so kind that once, she ever made a house call to us! (I hasten to add that this may not be a service the firm offer routinely and to all is customers. We may well have received favored treatment, on his occasion though I am sure we did nothing to deserve it.)
Obviously neither I nor my wife have any previous experience with this kind of endeavor. However, we suspect we stand more on the side of clients from Hell than on the side of angelic clients. Ms. Luis never lost her cool with us and she continued to direct us with a firm but friendly hand until the task was completed. If loving lawyers were not a human impossibility, we would say we have come to love Ms Luis!We could not recommend her personally and the John D. Laughton firm more highly.

Dylan helped me create a will and detailed trust for husband and I. It is not the most fun thing to think about (our demise), but she made it actually an enjoyable experience! I haven't retained this attorney, but will offer a review of how she handled my specific inquiry directly from an email sent to her which I obtained on the CA Bar Association website.
I received a very expeditious reply and a time to phone me was requested. When that time came, I received a phone call from a woman with a very pleasant and compassionate sounding voice. I told her I’d send a document that would explain my situation and she said she would review it and see if she’s a good fit. Within the hour I received an email stating that it wasn’t a good fit, in addition to giving me contact info for 3 firms that would be a good fit.
I had already been acquainted with one of the firms and I wrote her back telling her so. She responded back to me and reassured me I’d be in good company.
In all my years, I believe I've developed the ability to sense compassion and “good” in humans. In light of this, I can say that Kristen Jones is a great asset to her field and to the community. I would have not hesitated for a moment to retain her if she was the right “fit” for my case.

The team at Jewell, Stewart and Pratt made our transition from Czech Republic to California go remarkably well. A large amount of paperwork, all very clear and thorough and timing was exactly what they told us and better. Claire, Monique and Mable made a great combo and we highly recommend hiring them when you are looking for results beyond the basics, special requests and international managing of affairs across borders, oceans and mountains of red tape. In 1st moments we thought to do it on our own.
