The car I purchased kept having problems that could not be repaired (continous break failure, air conditioner/heater did not work, windows got stuck). The dealer was able to make some repairs but I had to keep taking it back for the breaks. Jemal was very helpful and thorough all the way through until my case was resolved. I was very pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and follow through. I always knew the progress of the case and never had a doubt that I had the right lawyer. He got the manufacturer to buy back my vehicle and pay my repair fees and lawyer fees. He is the first person I will call the next time I need legal assistance for anything.

When I was younger, I received a Minor in Possession of Alcohol. Sandy was able to get the charge dismissed. As a young adult, I wrongfully received a speeding ticket. I recorded the entire encounter with the police and was able to provide Sandy with the video along with other notes. Once again, she was able to get the charge dismissed. She spoke with the police officer before the case was brought to trial and convinced the officer to drop the charge. Sandy is very knowledgeable and an expert criminal attorney. I appreciated Sandy’s honesty regarding the unique situation of each case and her straightforward communication throughout the process. I wanted to take the time to say that I highly recommend Sandy Rabadi if you're in need of an attorney. I had been charged with a DUI back in February in Burbank and Sandy was successful in not only working the plea down to a wet reckless, but also in getting the fines and accompanying alcohol classes waived as well. I found Sandy to be extremely personable and professional throughout the entire process. My name is Jacques Delacroix. I am a retired professor of Management. I live in Santa Cruz, California with my wife, Krishna Delacroix who is an artist. Recently, we went to John D. Laughton, A Professional Law Corporation in Monterey, California for help to deal with the complex and forbidding business of making end-of-life legal preparations. We dealt entirely with Brandie Luis Esq. ,and with the pleasant office staff person (whose name escapes me right now because, well, I am writing a will am I not?)
Ms. Luis deployed incomparable patience and perseverance in dealing with our passivity (and perhaps, with our unconscious resistance). She guided us skillfully through the meanders of legal dispositions we did not even suspected to exist. As a result of her quiet efforts, my wife and I now think that we have done all the right things with respect to our offspring and with respect to the world at large. We believe that thanks to Ms Luis, our passing will not trouble much the peace of those we leave behind. We even think we will leave behind us a slight wake of benevolence. Those are satisfying and probably rare feelings.
Ms Luis ' disposition is so conscientious and so kind that once, she ever made a house call to us! (I hasten to add that this may not be a service the firm offer routinely and to all is customers. We may well have received favored treatment, on his occasion though I am sure we did nothing to deserve it.)
Obviously neither I nor my wife have any previous experience with this kind of endeavor. However, we suspect we stand more on the side of clients from Hell than on the side of angelic clients. Ms. Luis never lost her cool with us and she continued to direct us with a firm but friendly hand until the task was completed. If loving lawyers were not a human impossibility, we would say we have come to love Ms Luis!We could not recommend her personally and the John D. Laughton firm more highly.

Brandie Luis, was able to help our family through some difficult legal challenges we had recovering funds that other firms had told us couldn't be done without going through a long and expensive legal process.
She was able to assess the situation quickly and worked with the State and the banking institutions on our behalf to resolve the issues we encountered all to a successful outcome.

Brandie both informed us on our options and helped educate us on what the different choices would mean for the estate. I haven't retained this attorney, but will offer a review of how she handled my specific inquiry directly from an email sent to her which I obtained on the CA Bar Association website.
I received a very expeditious reply and a time to phone me was requested. When that time came, I received a phone call from a woman with a very pleasant and compassionate sounding voice. I told her I’d send a document that would explain my situation and she said she would review it and see if she’s a good fit. Within the hour I received an email stating that it wasn’t a good fit, in addition to giving me contact info for 3 firms that would be a good fit.
I had already been acquainted with one of the firms and I wrote her back telling her so. She responded back to me and reassured me I’d be in good company.
In all my years, I believe I've developed the ability to sense compassion and “good” in humans. In light of this, I can say that Kristen Jones is a great asset to her field and to the community. I would have not hesitated for a moment to retain her if she was the right “fit” for my case.

I was misled by my dealership and car manufacturer about my car being a lemon and was told I had no recourse. Larry gave me a free and fair appraisal of my case and told me he could help me out. I really felt that if he couldn't help me, he would be honest with me and not waste my time. A few months later Larry got everything taken care of and a buy back for my car. Larry took care of everything and I didn't have to do much more than sign a few documents and fax some papers to him. Most importantly his fee doesn't come out of your Lemon Law settlement. Couldn't recommend Mr. Hoddick enough.

James Allen Ward represented our family in securing a Critical Care Nursing center for my Uncle. Attorney Martin Putnam is your man if you get taken by a Used Car Salesman as I was. Mr. Putnam spoke to me in person over the phone, listened well to my situation, and asked some questions. After the Saleman refused to refund my money and take back a defective car which he misrepresented and, among other illegal things, posed safety hazzards (driver's door locks driver inside which prior attempts to fix were unsuccessful the Salesman admitted after I took the car and was locked in several times in a 3 days), Mr. Putnam made one phone call to the Car Lemon Salesman and got the issue settled instantaneously. I got my full refund and they took back their Lemon Car. My problem was resolved instantly because of Mr. Putnam's knowledge of the law and manner in dealing with law breakers who try to take unfair advantage of people like me. Mr. Putnam was incredibly kind and generous in his consideration of the terrible spot I was in and offered me a free consultation and one free phone call! Am I grateful!

No one wants to go through bankruptcy. It's a terrible time and I was feeling really badly about having to do it at all. But, from the first phone conversation, Julian put me at ease and I knew everything was going to be all right. I have mega-anxiety problems and he was so patient and good humored about it. He surely must have been frustrated with me at times, but he never let it show. He told me I was in his hands and I couldn't have hoped for better hands in which to be. Jordan was very helpful and nice communicated back with me in a timely manner and solved my issue of me almost losing my money on a new jetski I had bough from a dealership. The ski is going to get diagnostic and the problem should be fixed by the manufacture. I had spent so much money trying to find the problem with the ski at so many dealers but they couldn't find anything and when I would call the Manfacture they would tell me your out of luck. Thanks to Jordan for talking to them and getting me a good will service diagnostics my ski will be running and operating again and I don't have to just throw away the 20k I spent on the ski. I am so grateful, that I wanted to thank Mr. Kemnitzer publicly and to alert others with a bad car deal to contact him, especially a teenager like me that desperately needed help.
I went to purchase a vehicle at and ended up with a nightmare of a contract of about $55,000, which made up of being; overcharged for the vehicle, inflated negative equity on my leased vehicle, and adding an additional $8800 of worthless accessories and insurances. This all happened without the dealership checking my ability to pay for this huge amount. I am very thankful that Mr. Kemnitzer took my case on a contingency. He seemed to immediately grasp the situation and using his knowledge of the law, knew exactly what buttons to push to get the deal done. He showed compassion and at the same time guided me on how to purchase a car in the future from dealerships that use hard sells tactics.

Bryan Kemnitzer is a very bright attorney, with great skills as a negotiator as proven by the very desirable results he accomplished for us on two occasions one in 1993 and again in 2016. In each case he has shown extreme knowledge of the law, the ability to negotiate from a position of strength and to reach agreement quickly.
There was no Avvo during my first experience in 1993. So since he just completed our second case with my wife's granddaughter, I wanted to take the opportunity to write about my experience on Yelp to emphasis the importance of having an asset such as Bryan on your side. I had a used 1990 Allante with about 32,000 miles. One day the entire brake system failed and had the vehicle towed to the dealer. I began to negotiate with General Motors to replace my car with a brand new one. We reached the point where GM staff could not go the distance to meet my demand. At this point I needed an attorney to close the deal and wrap it up. Bryan was that person. He carefully reviewed the frequency of visits to the Cadillac service center and determined on the spot that the Lemon Law was applicable in this case. He took the case on a contingency basis. He wrote a great letter following the law, detailing damages, loss of use, and penalties. This is where Bryan really shines because once GM received his letter, they responded by agreeing to provide me with a brand new 1993 Allante, at no cost to me. GM also paid the attorney fee. I would recommend to anyone that is confronted with a car deal that has gone sour to contact Bryan.
Based on my first experience we turned to Bryan again for a case involving strong tactics used by dealer to sell a 19 year old an expensive vehicle that exceeded her ability to pay and then to make matters worse added worthless accessories to further increase the price. Bryan again displayed his prowess to negotiate and was successful in unwinding the deal. This was an incredible outcome for our granddaughter. It taught her a great lesson without the pain of having to go through bankruptcy and bad credit for many years. We are very grateful and would highly recommended Bryan Kemnitzer to anyone.
