Howard was engaged by a coalition group to assist with a coalition agreement. He also met with the group to guide them on the key watch outs for the group's proposed activities in the US. It was like Howard could read our collective minds as to what the coalition group required. Extremely practical advice. Howard came across as a real expert on competition law. When i met Christopher Montoya I was incarcerated in the Santa clara county department of corrections and looking at a 3 strikes case where my maxium exposure wouod have been 30 years to lofe sentence if convicted. I had just been release from prison 13 days prior (I recieved 2 strikes on that case) to being charged with a new case in which i was looking at an additional 4 strikes and my sense of hope was only shared by one other person and that was Chris Montoya. I knew my case was a clear cut self denfese case as I was defending my family, my home and our property against 2 men however i knew that with my record, the fact i had just been relased from prison, and just cumulatively that the facts of the case were not going to be on my side was discouraging. Almost every laywer i spoke to told me that ny chances were not terrible, but they were definitely not good. Chris Montoya was always straight forward with me and professional, he never gave me any false hope, but instead was always adamant about the facts, giving me realistic advice about my case and was always logical in his observations of the case. Sometimes i wondered if chris ever slept becuase it seemed like he worked day and night non- stop on my case even though i knew he had other cases and a huge work load. The level of.professionalism he conducted himself worh was truly inspiring along side his tenacious attitude about his approach on dealing with the minutiae details surronding my case. Agaisnt his advice I decided to take my case to speedy trial and throughout the entire pricess whether it was the prelims, bail motions or trial readiness, Chris was always prepared and seemed to know every detail about those appearances and always let me know what i could expect. Chris spent many hours off the clock coming to visit with me at the jail to give me updates, to go over the facts, to let me know what his investigators were finding and giving me realistic faith that our case was getting stronger and that He would be ready to put on the fight of a lifetime to literally save my life. There were times i thought about getting a private attorney because there was so much on the line for me, if I lost this Trial i would spend the rest of my life in prison and i was only 34 years old at the time. It was something about the look in his eyes, his approach, his confindence in himself that made me feel Chris was the man for the job, so i wrnt with my gut and trusted him to fight for my life and i was right, He was. When i came time for trial, i had 2 witnesses against me alongside police testimony and a lengthy criminal history which none of these were going to be favorable for me winning my case. All i had was chris and even though i didnt want to testify Chris urged me to as he explained to me that this would be my best chance to win my trial. I trusted Chris and we spent countless hours working together on my testimony and he and i went to trial with all the odds stacked against us. Despite these glaring issues, Chris was prepared and every detail of the case was meticulously combed through by chris, from the jury selection, thr voir diers, the inlimes, and of the course Chris shinned with his experience as an attorney in the cross examinations, bringing to life crucial facts that stregthened our case. When it came time for me to tale the stand and fight for my life, I put my faith in GOD and i believed in chris so i told my story truthfully and with Chris in my corner i knew that I would be heard. As the closing arguments proceeded Chris illuminated the room with his natural charisma, but what stood out more was his passion and quest to tell my story, the truth. You could tell that Chris was born to do this for a living, to defens those who can not defend themselves. As the trial came to a close, the jury was unable to reach a unamious verdict, but instead the jury was hung 10-2 on one count and 9-3 in another in favor of not guilty. I was relased the follwing court date.

I was misled by my dealership and car manufacturer about my car being a lemon and was told I had no recourse. Larry gave me a free and fair appraisal of my case and told me he could help me out. I really felt that if he couldn't help me, he would be honest with me and not waste my time. A few months later Larry got everything taken care of and a buy back for my car. Larry took care of everything and I didn't have to do much more than sign a few documents and fax some papers to him. Most importantly his fee doesn't come out of your Lemon Law settlement. Couldn't recommend Mr. Hoddick enough.

My son informed me of his dilemma regarding a ticket he received for excessive speeding while driving in a construction zone. I knew it was extremely serious and he needed legal representation. I looked up the Internet for a local attorney close to where he is attending a trade school. Originally, Kristina was contacted via e-mail, for an appointment and meeting location. She was very accessible for the date and location.
The seriousness of my son’s case would result in his license suspension, no traffic school, DMV points, and extreme fines. During the two court appearances, Kristina met with the DA’s Office to negotiate reduction of speed, no points, traffic school, lesser fines, and no license suspension.
Kristina’s interaction during the entire process was that of deep caring and a positive outlook when we were less than hopefully.

We literally got SCREWED and taken advantage of by a car dealership. Hawk and his firm reviewed my auto loan contract and paid attention to detail and recommended a course of action to take when we were out of hope. He always got back to us in a timely manner, and fought hard for our rights. He definitely under promised in the beginning, and over delivered on the results. I could not have asked for a better out come. We ended up settling w/ the dealership's attorneys earlier this year. Our headache and horrible experience w/ the dealership was definitely rectified, but would not have been possible without his help. I have recommended him to other people to have their contracts reviewed, so they do not get taken advantage of.

James Allen Ward represented our family in securing a Critical Care Nursing center for my Uncle. They had taken him in as a medicare patient, but sign him up with a bunch of illegal paperwork and planned to evict him in preference for higher paying customers. Attorney Martin Putnam is your man if you get taken by a Used Car Salesman as I was. Mr. Putnam spoke to me in person over the phone, listened well to my situation, and asked some questions. After the Saleman refused to refund my money and take back a defective car which he misrepresented and, among other illegal things, posed safety hazzards (driver's door locks driver inside which prior attempts to fix were unsuccessful the Salesman admitted after I took the car and was locked in several times in a 3 days), Mr. Putnam made one phone call to the Car Lemon Salesman and got the issue settled instantaneously. I got my full refund and they took back their Lemon Car. My problem was resolved instantly because of Mr. Putnam's knowledge of the law and manner in dealing with law breakers who try to take unfair advantage of people like me. Mr. Putnam was incredibly kind and generous in his consideration of the terrible spot I was in and offered me a free consultation and one free phone call! Am I grateful!

No one wants to go through bankruptcy. It's a terrible time and I was feeling really badly about having to do it at all. But, from the first phone conversation, Julian put me at ease and I knew everything was going to be all right. I have mega-anxiety problems and he was so patient and good humored about it. He surely must have been frustrated with me at times, but he never let it show. He told me I was in his hands and I couldn't have hoped for better hands in which to be. From beginning to end, he kept me informed and went out of his way for me (literally - hundreds of miles). And his sense of humor was really refreshing. Not really something you expect from a lawyer. Jordan was very helpful and nice communicated back with me in a timely manner and solved my issue of me almost losing my money on a new jetski I had bough from a dealership. The ski is going to get diagnostic and the problem should be fixed by the manufacture. I had spent so much money trying to find the problem with the ski at so many dealers but they couldn't find anything and when I would call the Manfacture they would tell me your out of luck. Thanks to Jordan for talking to them and getting me a good will service diagnostics my ski will be running and operating again and I don't have to just throw away the 20k I spent on the ski. I couldn't have had asked for better service from Jordan where no one wanted to take my case because either they said there's no money or profit margin innit for them or they just don't deal with water sport.

I am so grateful, that I wanted to thank Mr. Kemnitzer publicly and to alert others with a bad car deal to contact him, especially a teenager like me that desperately needed help.
I went to purchase a vehicle at and ended up with a nightmare of a contract of about $55,000, which made up of being; overcharged for the vehicle, inflated negative equity on my leased vehicle, and adding an additional $8800 of worthless accessories and insurances. This all happened without the dealership checking my ability to pay for this huge amount. I am very thankful that Mr. Kemnitzer took my case on a contingency. He seemed to immediately grasp the situation and using his knowledge of the law, knew exactly what buttons to push to get the deal done. He showed compassion and at the same time guided me on how to purchase a car in the future from dealerships that use hard sells tactics.
He quickly reached a settlement to unwind the deal by cancelling the contract. I walked away without owing the dealer anything. It was an incredible outcome for me.
I would highly recommend Mr. Kemnitzer for his knowledge, expertise and negotiating skills that prevented me from having to file bankruptcy and having poor credit for many years to come.

Bryan Kemnitzer is a very bright attorney, with great skills as a negotiator as proven by the very desirable results he accomplished for us on two occasions one in 1993 and again in 2016. In each case he has shown extreme knowledge of the law, the ability to negotiate from a position of strength and to reach agreement quickly.
There was no Avvo during my first experience in 1993. So since he just completed our second case with my wife's granddaughter, I wanted to take the opportunity to write about my experience on Yelp to emphasis the importance of having an asset such as Bryan on your side. I had a used 1990 Allante with about 32,000 miles. One day the entire brake system failed and had the vehicle towed to the dealer. I began to negotiate with General Motors to replace my car with a brand new one. We reached the point where GM staff could not go the distance to meet my demand. At this point I needed an attorney to close the deal and wrap it up. Bryan was that person. He carefully reviewed the frequency of visits to the Cadillac service center and determined on the spot that the Lemon Law was applicable in this case. He took the case on a contingency basis. He wrote a great letter following the law, detailing damages, loss of use, and penalties. This is where Bryan really shines because once GM received his letter, they responded by agreeing to provide me with a brand new 1993 Allante, at no cost to me. GM also paid the attorney fee. I would recommend to anyone that is confronted with a car deal that has gone sour to contact Bryan.
Based on my first experience we turned to Bryan again for a case involving strong tactics used by dealer to sell a 19 year old an expensive vehicle that exceeded her ability to pay and then to make matters worse added worthless accessories to further increase the price. Bryan again displayed his prowess to negotiate and was successful in unwinding the deal. This was an incredible outcome for our granddaughter. It taught her a great lesson without the pain of having to go through bankruptcy and bad credit for many years. We are very grateful and would highly recommended Bryan Kemnitzer to anyone.

Christine is a great counselor. I had a complicated case that involved division of the company with shared ownership between my ex-husband and I during our divorce.
