Ellen assisted my mother and I with estate planning, probate and 2 real estate deals. She helped clean up what another attorney left hanging so to speak, with a probate issue that involved a property and was able to handle everything as well as advise us on best practices given our situation, she was "down to earth" and easy to talk to. I was impressed with her service and responsiveness so we chose to use her services for 3 real estate transactions for us. She is attentive to detail and has in all cases protected us as her clients down to the smallest detail. I was recommended to her and would recommend her for estate planning, real estate or probate as these are the services I've personally have had with her services.

I had some concerns about my car insurance company after I filed a claim. I found Mr. Battisti's info online and contacted him. He was very friendly, listened to me and gave me advice. Consultation was free but it felt like I paid because he did not rush me off the phone like other lawyers I contacted. I ended up not needing a lawyer but if I did it would definitely be him. Joseph Anthony Dempsey helped wrestle back control and rights of a contract constructed on bad faith. The family suffered impending losses to a company that had a history of fraud. Since the company operates internationally, the legal problem Joseph faced in rescinding the contract were thrice more challenging than if it were an American company. In the end, his efforts and continuous support helped dissuade the company from further damaging the family's good credit history and relieving them of future relationships with the company.

Let me first start out by stating that Joseph Dempsey is truly an excellent and confident lawyer. He is extremely knowledgeable and meticulous about his line of work and has no problem breaking things down or explaining the “ins and outs” of every possible situation that could have arisen in my case.
My case was very complicated and involved a medical debt that I was unaware of at the time and it happened to be against an important family member of mine. Although it was against a family member, Joe was extremely sensitive to the matter but still did a very thorough job leaving no stone unturned in a timely manner.
As I had already mentioned, I was unaware of a medical debt that had been on my record for about 5 years and was only made aware of the situation when applying for a mortgage and was denied. Since I had been served 5 years previously and wasn’t even aware (since I moved several times), I had a default judgment against me and had already lost the case since I did not appear in court. Joe was able to research what had happened, contact the medical group that had sued me, and was able to explain the situation to me in simple terms. Joe was very easy to work with considering I didn’t have any prior knowledge regarding legal matters. Joe was able to prove that I truly did not know that I had been served and not only was he able to have the default judgment vacated which reopened the case, but the medical debt was completely expunged off of my record since I was not the party at blame.
If it were not for Joseph Dempsey’s relentless determination for justice, I would not have been able to relieve over a 25 thousand dollar medical debt that should never have even been in my name in the first place. I am now able to fix my credit and I honestly only have Joe Dempsey to thank.
I highly recommend Joesph Dempsey if you want a lawyer that will stop at nothing to resolve your legal matters.

Although it may appear that this top rating seems a bit high on the mark, I can state with certainty that Jerry Merola is the real deal when it comes to bankruptcy cases. I was a newbie to the bankruptcy process, nor had I worked with a lawyer before, but Merola + his team walked me through it step by step without leaving me feeling befuddled in any way. Communication was constant, clear, and prompt (esp. via email), and I was well prepped to know what to expect + respond at court. As long as I did my share of the work properly, Merola + his team made sure they did theirs.

As a rule I’ve always tried to avoid lawyers. I’ve always tried to make sure the deal is very clear so I don’t have to go to the expense of hiring a lawyer but sometimes there is no choice. I had to break up a business partnership and although I tried to make it amicable it was clear that I had to bring in Council. Chris was recommended to me by a colleague and I couldn’t have been happier. He was always supportive, always listened and gave me fantastic advice. My calls were always returned immediately.
