This was my first experience with an American attorney, in fact with any attorney.
I researched the internet and consulted my American friends with legal background (two retired lawyers) before contacting Mr Dennin.
At the outset I was impressed by his approach, which was encouraging: rigor of his questions, logic in reasoning.
Later I learned one of his basic principle that "preparation is everything", which I particularly liked.
Mr Dennin spend enough time to research all relevant material of the case.
On that basis he was in a position to prepare legal papers that were comprehensive and specific and supplemented by facts and most relevant legal precedents.
He took time to outline and explain to me legal proceedings, and consulted with me - in person, on the phone, via e-mail - on all important matters.
He presented me with copies of legal papers which allowed me to follow rather lengthy development of the case.
Mr Dennin's legal strategy was realistic and results oriented. This was particularly evident during a mediation event.
He was always available for me if I wanted to contact him.
I think that we have established a very good communication.
Being represented by him made me fill assured and comfortable.
As a person, I have found him a pleasant, courteous and ready to listen.
As a professional, he has vast experience spread over many years and success in defending rights of his clients.
All in all I think that Mr Dennin is a kind of attorney which I would recommend with full conviction.

Our former broker, financial consultant, is in jail until 2025. We realized we were in deep financial trouble after losing our entire life's savings to the lies and deceptions of our broker. A very close friend of ours, who also had also retained Tim and had used the same broker, gave us Timothy J Dennin's name. This "gentle" man was so helpful to us, we honestly did not know where/how to start a claim. Tim's patience with us on the telephone was unbelievable. There were times when my husband was so distraught, I honestly did not know what to do with thousands of pieces of correspondence & fake statements! So, what did I do? I called Tim Dennin and he always gave me the knowledge and strength to forge ahead. He gave our case 150%, and was successful in recouping money from a large brokerage firm. I found my 98 year old Aunt in a major state of self neglect with moderate dementia in her Brooklyn Apartment. I live in Florida and am her only family. I was anxious and afraid for her. My mom was falling in her apartment and I was contacted by her neighbor after willfully living under a rock for as long as I could. I was worried that my mom would burn through my retirement savings in all honesty, I'd just retired, and she was running low on resources and when I'd called about hiring a home health aide, I nearly had a heart attack finding out what that would cost me. Overwhelmed is an understatement for how I was feeling. In all honesty, I was also feeling victimized, woe-is-me for having to deal with it when my mom had been very difficult for all of my life up to this point.
Hiring Ms. Goeman was the single best move I've made in years and the best money my sister and I have ever paid for any service. Ms. Goeman took care of the medicaid application and explained everything to us in terms we can understand. My sister is not the brightest bulb on the tree and this brilliant woman made everything understandable to both of us. She crossed the t's and dotted the i's for us, it wasn't overnight but it was faster than we had anticipated and Ms. Goeman's fee was way within what we had budgeted.
I can sleep at night because of the work this woman did for us. Honestly, it's improved my relationship with my mom because I'm not feeling resentful any longer about having to potentially go broke to care for her. I should also mention that Ms. Goeman met my mom once and she was very tender and generous with her. She really seems to have an affection for her clients.

Robin advised my family when my grandmother was unable to care for herself in her home any longer and was also running out of money. My mother was really worried that she'd have to exhaust her own retirement fund to care for my gran. Without Robin, I really don't know how we would have managed to seek out benefits and resources to which my grandmother was entitled. The process for the layperson is not at all straight forward. My grandmother has been able to remain in her home with fulltime assistance because of Robin. Robin also walked us through the process of finding the best home should that be necessary and we will hire her again when that time comes although she empowered us with knowledge so that we could possibly navigate the waters ourselves. She is extremely bright, unpatronizing, compassionate, and thorough, and her rates were very reasonable, considering. A great lawyer and human being.

Chris became my lawyer for a FINRA Arbitration case in 2008. He listened to my complaint, filed notice soon after and engaged an expert witness. We discussed mediation, found it to be agreeable and approached the defendant who at first agreed and at the last minute reneged. At all times Chris kept me informed of the process, costs and developments.
In early 2009, the Arbitration Hearing took place near my home. Chris came down a full day early, met with me and my wife, discussed the case in detail, and gave appropriate advice. The hearing went on for four days and was difficult. Chris's Expert Witness was perfect. At all times Chris was knowable and demanding of the defendant.
As a result, the decision was in my favor with a nice financial award and the defendant required to pay all hearing costs. I felt vindicated and pleased that the losses I had suffered were replaced.
I give all the credit to Chris Jon Gray for the happy results. I would hire him again.
