Early in the morning I get a phone call from my son and he’s panicked telling me he’s been involved in a shooting, for which he was eventually arrested and charge for 2nd degree murder. My wife and I immediately began searching for a criminal attorney and upon recommendation we phoned the law office of Hernandez & Hamilton. After a brief telephone conversation with Josh Hamilton we believed we had found the right attorney for our son. This would then begin what would become a 39 month long legal defense and eventual trial resulting in an acquittal. This being due to Josh Hamilton having relentlessly searched for and found every piece of evidence, securing expert testimony, and appealing twice to the Arizona Supreme Court. Ken Ray is hands-down, the best attorney you can hire in Yavapai county and the state of Arizona. If you are facing any sort of criminal case or cases, he is the man that you need to hire. I can personally vouch for that, from first hand experience.I was falsely accused of three felonies and Ken easily got my case dismissed without prejudice.

My husband was suffering with mental illness, and had been diagnosed with dementia on top of that. He was a brilliant man, and at this time of his life, had taken action to meet with this lawyer( Patricia Lenzner, Owens & Perkins) - regarding "divorce" when we had an argument (he had totaled a car, gave me his license, and then - dementia and memory loss - wanted it back a month later, and I refused to give it to him). He actually filed and gave a deposit, then changed his mind 2 days later. 48 hours. This dishonest attorney, went ahead and filed anyway, after he had cancelled - causing distress to both my husband and me, as well as significant financial loss. I can only surmise, she wanted her money, rather than doing the right thing. When she called me to tell me, I asked "how can you in good conscience do this, if he's been diagnosed with two mental imbalances, bipolar one and dementia"? Facts regarding his health did not matter to her. He suffered, tremendously, and so did our family. He recently passed on. I have intended to write this honest review, to warn good people to seek counsel elsewhere.

This truly has to be the BEST criminal defense attorney association in Tucson Arizona hands down. THE FEDERAL KING IS KATSERELLIS LAW! I hired Kat on day 1 after a free consultation and he devoted so many hours of his time to me and I was able to go over my entire case with him and explain to him how the previous attorney I have was neglecting me and not willing to cooperate with me on anything within the interest I found best fit for my case with my brother. so within 48 hours I had an answer on a Plea, within 9 days got a plea agreement, within 1.5 Months with Kat’s word given was able to get me to court to begin the process to finish my case, and in under 90 days was able to successfully execute and close out a 6 month incarceration that was potentially looking at 33-41 months maximum. Kat is the most well respected individual, COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO HIS ATTENTIVENESS and he is ALWAYS ON CALL 24-7! I ask a lot of questions, Vicki answered them all. She was honest with me and straight forward about what was and wasn't possible. I am very pleased that I went with Vicki Lopez for my felony DUI case. She was able to bring down my aggravated misdemeanor plea down to a standard misdemeanor without having to go to trial. She and her team were quick to respond to my calls/emails whenever I had questions which was nice due to this being a stressful time.
On a personal level she was able to work with me and calm me down when I was a nervous wreck due to this being my first experience with the justice system. I would definitely suggest that anyone with a DUI case work with her.

Out of nowhere we received a call from a detective making accusations about a past event. These were the kind of accusations that could potentially be life altering. Not knowing what to do, but knowing we needed advice, I found Jerald Schreck online, ascribed as someone with expertise related to my case. I made a call. Sure enough Mr. Schreck picked up the phone himself. He was warm and reassuring. Not having ever met me before, or with any pretense that I would retain him, he spent about an hour on the phone with me reviewing the recent events and my concerns. He explained to me the law, how these things typically work, and put it in to the context of my situation. In the end he advised me that I was not currently in need of a lawyer, but if things progressed, he would keep my information on file. I offered to compensate him for the impromptu consultation, but he said he was happy to help, and that was not needed. He offered his services but insisted it was not worth my money at this time. With one phone call we went from shock and panic to reassurance. Mr. Schreck’s kindness and expertise deescalated the situation and enabled us to get back to our lives. His kindness and willingness to help without compensation was truly unexpected. We owe him immense gratitude and WILL be calling him back in the event we ever need his services. An honest lawyer who is passionate about helping those who need defense.

I hired Attorney Matt Long after I was indicted on serious criminal charges. Matt worked tirelessly to review all the evidence and make the appropriate motions to win the case. After reviewing his motions, all the most serious felony counts of the indictment were dismissed. On the remaining felony counts, Matt was also able to have them dismissed in exchange for a plea to an offense that is treated as a misdemeanor with probation. I am grateful for all the time and effort he and his staff put into my case and for achieving an excellent result. I highly recommend Matt Long in the area of criminal law.

Mary is a wonderful family attorney in Yuma, Arizona. I would definitely recommend her for anyone going thru a divorce or in need of legal services involving family matters. The original judge we had in my case was extremely biased and ruled against me. But with Mary's help, we appealed my case, won the appeal, and ended up with an extremely favorable decision in the end.
Divorce and child custody are extremely difficult things to deal with for anyone, but I'm certain I would not have made it thru this process the way I did if not for Mary's help. She's extremely professional, ethical, and knows the law very well. I'm extremely thankful for all that she has done for me and my daughter!
