If you have ever been involved in a custody dispute, you know how stressful and scary it can be. Wish I could give Charlie Baird zero stars. I paid him a retainer for representation and to seek help in the return of my property. Not only did he NOT provide any counsel or insight into my case for over a MONTH, he waited until 5 days before a hearing to tell me he couldn’t handle my case.
His response via email was, “I’m sorry you relied on our firm to your detriment”. Super classy.
In speaking with him, he complained about his workload and how busy he was, which doesn’t matter to me at all. If you pay for a service, you expect a service.
He needs to learn professionalism and follow through. Don’t let the other reviews fool you, the man is borderline senile and will forget case details. Save your money, don’t retain this clown.

I'm writing this letter to formally thank you for representing me. When I came to you; I was 3 plus years into a case that felt like it would never end, I had what I thought was the best legal representation but learned very quickly that wasn’t the case.
I cannot thank you enough for meeting with me and taking my case over. I quickly learned my former attorney did little to nothing on the matter. Let me not go without saying you took this case knowing you had to be ready for trial in 30 days. You were kind and worked with me on a fee payment that was reasonable. Because of your thorough and relentless advocacy, of taking my case I had fast results that led to the case being dismissed!

I searched around and spoke to a few lawyers that didn’t want to take my simple divorce case. I continued searching, and then found the Shannon Family Law Firm. The reviews are not perfect, but overall there seemed to be more pleased clients who used them. So I decided to call and I won’t go into a lot of detail, but I have spoken with the paralegal Jodie Ward-House and attorney Richard Shannon whom I have decided to hire for my case. Jodie and Richard have been very kind and thorough in explaining the details of how my particular case should work if all goes well. My case is new and just starting. I may post another review in the future about this firm after my case is finished. However, based on the previous phone conversation I had with Jodie and phone consultation I had with Richard Shannon was very pleasing. We’ll see how this goes. I would recommend them if need consultation about a divorce case. I have a better understanding about my particular case.

I didn't care for this firm they placed me behind the 8 ball after 7 K and didn't even read the warrant (bond reversed). DWI I added the car ignition start but was unaware of the other requirement. Had they read the bond I would have not been in jail on a warrant. They blamed me yet I gave the 7k to take care of the matter. They didn't care and they didn't do their research. I knew after the sales pitch it was marketing here. I canceled CC after getting out of jail from bond reverse and retained another attorney to get the DUI dismissed. Never again will I use the internet marketing lies just to make this firm look good.

I’m sure Jarrod is helpful with some, but for the negative reviews he does receive, they’re likely true. Jarrod will sell you on a flat fees, experience, and that he’s attentive and communicative. But once you make that payment for him to represent you, that’s not the case. You can tell Jarrod and his firm are taking on more cases than they can handle which is why some clients like me get left out of the loop and left wondering what they paid for. If you try to criticize him at all he gets vindictive and hateful. Be cautious with this attorney.
