I recently retained Sherif Fathy to handle my misdemeanor case. Although it looked bad, Mr. Fathy felt that under the circumstances there were still several options open to me. At first, although a longshot, he attempted to get the case dismissed. When that didn’t work, Mr. Fathy told me he would work at getting the misdemeanor reduced to an infraction. I agreed to his plan and because I live out of state, he appeared on my behalf in all court proceedings. In the end, I was very pleased with the outcome. The charge was reduced to an infraction and I paid a small fine.
All Mr. Fathy's communications with me were timely, clear, concise and thorough through each step of the process. In addition, he was most candid in explaining all fees associated with representing me and I found them to be justified and reasonable.
I would recommend Sherif Fathy to anyone who is in need of excellent and thorough representation and counsel.

I can not even believe that Scott got my ticket dismissed. I was sure that I would get points, probably lose my license for a year or two and probably lose my job.

I have had more issues with my driving record then I would like. I have gone to court myself and had different people represent me in court. Scott was the best, I didn't have to do anything. He kept me informed at all times. I wish I would have known him in my earlier years. I would recommend him. I was issued a citation for over 85 , the officer also stated he had me on Radar. I did have my radar detector on so I know I was not clocked at the speed , but I have tried to fight it on my own before and lost. He as able to get the case dismissed, I kept my license, added no points, and never had to go to court. The process was drug out for over a year and a half due to courts backed up and he did not charge me any extra for the extra time spent since that part was out of my control.

This guy knows the law.. went to court and watched this attorney break out a legal code book and show the D.A.. She was shocked not knowing the law as well as him and agreed to a simple civil violation.. Also rescued me from hiring some scam artist in Santa Monica claiming to be a famous legal service but was nothing but a broker.
I would recommend him for any trouble your in, tickets, legal, etc.

I was recommended this lawyer by a neighbor who hired him for a criminal case, called his firm and met with discussed the details of my case, and he gave me an honest assessment of my options and didn't try to sugarcoat anything or oversell me, or most important guarantee anything. Our communication up to the trial was excellent, I received regular updates and was impressed by how thorough Mr Forbes was.
During the trial, Mr. Forbes carried himself well and spoke eloquently with a relaxed but firm demeanor, something I can't say was shared by the prosecution, and I was well prepared as a defendant prior to entering the courtroom. The expert witness recommended to me was of a high caliber, and overall I felt comfortable having someone as experienced as Mr. Forbes defending me. I would recommend him wholeheartedly and would not hesitate to hire him again.

I started off my divorce process, thinking that I could handle it without a family law attorney, even though my ex-wife had hired one of the most notorious divorce attorneys in our area. This ended up being a big mistake on my part and all I did was dig myself into a big hole. I had a restraining order filed against me, the custody of my child taken away, and was facing potential jail time. But thank God a good friend of mine referred me to Mr. Traverso and he was able to pull me out of the quicksand. He coached me through the mediation process and did everything necessary for me to regain custody of my child and avoid jail time. Anytime I had a question or a concern about my situation he was there to push me in the right direction with his advice. i landed in jail and it seem as tho the case i was there on wasnt going to be resolved as quickly as it should. I ended up having 3 attorney before C. Butler received my case and even tho it still took a few more months Ms. Butler made those months more tolerant then one can deal with under the medical conditions i had but stressing wasnt a problem cause Ms Butler kept me well informed of every aspect of my case.
