I was very fortunate to have been given Mike's business card the day before I flew to my home and business in Jamaica. Nearly a month to the day after flying out I found that I was in need of his service on a medical cannabis case. He gave me EXPERT advice and what he was able to do for me was what legends(and movies!) are made of.
In order to keep the identities of HIV/AIDS, Cancer and Leukemia patients private, I elected to to plead guilty on a RICO case involving 32 other individuals. To make a long story short, I was able to drive myself to and from the Courthouse! Although the Court knew that I flew in from Montego Bay 5 months after my warrant was issued, I was released on my own recognizance(OR'ed) without even confiscating my Passport.
The 32 others served 90 days in County. Mike was able to pove that I had a home and business in Jamaica(I am an American born white man!) Court documents show that I was sentenced to 3 years unsupervised probation and had to provide a "one-way ticket to Jamaica". A true miracle worker and THE right guy to have on your side when standing in front of the judge facing SB420/PROP 215 charges.

I owe Mike a lot. 3 years ago after the market crashed and I lost my job I got into the Medical Marijuana collective industry. Now in those 3 years I've had my share of troubles with the law. I'd used a few lawyers before Mike, but none of them really knew much about Medical Marijuana, they all treated my case like any other drug case. They didn't understand that I wasn't a drug dealer, that I was a business man afforded protection under CA law.
Mike was different, not only is Mike very connected in the Med Marijuana industry, but he's also very versed on the law for the subject. He knew how to show the court that I was simply following CA law and that I wasn't a criminal. I think it also helped a lot that Mike used to be a prosecutor in San Diego so he already knew all the DAs and most of the judges from working with them before. It definitely made a big difference when it came to negotiating a plea deal.
Plus Mike has always been a straight shooter with me about my situation, he's never tried to stretch the truth with me to get me to pay for something I didn't really need or wasn't worth trying and I can always get in touch with him when I need to.
I'm not in jail right now thanks to Mike and all the money/medicine the cops confiscated when they raided my shop is back in my hands because Mike fought to get it back.
The Med Marijuana business is tough from a legal perspective and I feel a lot more comfortable continuing now that I have a lawyer who really knows how to use the marijuana laws to help his clients.
I recommend anyone even thinking about getting involved in Medical Marijuana go talk to Mike first.

I came to Lake Tahoe on vacation and thanks to Adam I was able to leave on probation. This was my first offense and I honestly felt like I made a mistake and didn't want this to hurt my chances of success in the future as far as having a record or doing any serious jail time, losing my job and having to be away form my family. Adam was able to help the D.A. understand that I did make a mistake and that I felt remorse for my actions. Having Adam in my corner was the greatest sense of security throughout this experience. I had a lawyer who said I had no chance of winning. I hired John Nagle and he won my case doing a 7 hour trial. He proved my X was lying. I got my son back and after that settled my divorce case for 50/50 custody and I now pay nothing to my X. I do not think anyone else would have put that much effort into my case. His fees are way below my former lawyers. I was so scared. Now happy. I definitely recommend you call him for honest clear advise.

My husband and I were having problems with a tenant not paying rent. We decided we had enough and went in to see Mr. Geringer. Their office was not only knowable about evictions but gave us different approaches we would take to get the tenants out. When my husband and I finally decided which way to proceed Mr. Geringer was able to get the 3 Day Notice prepared and posted that same day. We ended up getting the tenants out and a money Judgment within 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend this attorney to anyone who is tired of getting the run around from tenants.

Mr. Geringer is not one of those attorneys that will do anything for a dollar. He will tell you the truth even though you may not like. He gives you all the facts and is honest about what needs to be done and how to go about doing it. I used him for a criminal case. A TRO was entered against me in Santa Monica. I reached out and spoke with Arash. He said he was very familiar with my type of case and had dealt with similar cases in the recent past. After two exchanges I felt Arash could dig me out of this legal hole.
Arash was very quick to reply to my communications and I always felt he knew my case inside and out. I never had to remind him or “catch him up” on any pertinent information.
Arash appeared in court on my behalf multiple times. He also maintained communications with opposing counsel throughout the process.
Soon after hiring Arash I went from the defendant in a civil case to having the legal leverage to put the plaintiff on the defensive. Arash’s grasp of the legal process and his thorough investigation of the evidence was enough to give me the upper-hand.
In the end, the TRO was withdrawn and we were able to get the opposing party to adhere to many of our demands. The case was dismissed within three weeks.

Bryan helped me tremendously with my case. The DA wanted to pursue a felony for a 1st time offense and Mr. Kazarian was able to get my case reduced to a misdemeanor. He kept in contact with me via calls, texts and emails. He was always on time or early to meet me at the courthouse to discuss any information I may have needed pertaining to my case. He kept me very well informed and explained the civil criminal codes to me as I had no understanding of what they were or meant. I always dealt with Mr. Kazarian directly and not a paralegal or secretary. His fees were quiet reasonable for all the work he did investigating my charge and helping me to move forward from my charge as painlessly as possible. It's public record he has made mistakes in his life and career, but was able to turn his life around, and is now a success. I had two cases -- one in State Court, and one in Federal Court.
I consulted with several attorneys and couldn't get a straight answer from any of them.
A friend referred me to Mr. Passanante. I could tell right away that he was very experienced -- and after I explained my situation to him, he quickly came up with a plan.
Not only did he get my sentences to run concurrent, I only had to serve less than a year in jail.
Both my wife and I will be eternally grateful to Mr. Passanante for all the effort he put into my cases.

I had Maggie as my defense attorney in 2006. I was being railroaded by people, who worked with my EX, I was beat up but put on trial! Because they and my EX were bad mouthing me harassing me, trying to make it my fault. I was told to take a plea, but there was no way I would admit to something that I didn't do! She told me she had spunk, and boy did she! The prosecutor was really good! She pulled no punches. Her favorite phrase was "smoke and mirrors"
But the mighty Maggie Law was giving her all, and I was acquitted! She was so very compassionate and genuine! One of my favorite things she did for me was, She asked who my favorite actress was? then told me to pretend to be that actress that is who is playing the role of me!

My family worked with Maggie on a dependency law matter. She was able to clearly explain the intricacies and complexities surrounding our case, and she respected our needs and adjusted her strategy accordingly. Any legal proceeding is stressful, and family law is right up there: Maggie understood our situation, helped us prepare for various possible outcomes, and even smoothed out the wrinkles while we were waiting for the tedious wheels of the justice system. Finally, we were fortunate enough not to go to trial on this issue, and she did several things to manage to that outcome. She encourages amicability ("everyone is you new best friend"). She always hopes for the best, yet she is prepared to fight: I never actually saw her brass knuckles but I think I figured out where she kept them. Cam won my case of a series of charges including sexual battery and simple batteries.
