I had a very complicated case that I presented to David Siegal. Many lawyers might have walked away from it, but David did not. He sat with me and heard my whole story. He drove to the scene of the accident with me and took many pictures of his own to better understand the incident. He really gave my case his attention and his time and it paid off in the end. The opposing side denied everything, and delayed everything over and over again, but David stuck with it and we won the case in the end. I would have gotten absolutely nothing if David Siegal hadn't represented me in my case and he far exceeded my expectations. I have and will continue to refer people to David. After receiving a letter/bill from the IRS for $86,000.00 for under reported income, I was referred to Mr Saavedra by my CPA.
After a consultation with Cruz he agreed to take my case, although it took a while for the IRS to set an appointment (1yr. 6mos.).
All along the waiting process Cruz was informative and reassuring that everything would get worked out.

I saw Mr. Rives for an accident case. He explained what was going on-took the mystery out of it. He was quite aggressive. I got a really good result. I like that he is not afraid to try the case if the insurance company gives a low offer. I understood what was going on and understood my options. Plus he has a great sense of humor. He put me at ease during a stressful deposition.

I have been employed in the legal community since 1970. When I was involved in an accident, I retained Ron Rives. All the attorneys in Contra Costa County know Ron and his reputation is the very best. He is one of the only AV rated attorneys in East Contra Costa County. It was important to him that I understood what was going on. He is not like many lawyers who want the process to be mysterious. His office staff is great-very helpful. When I was off work and struggling with doctors bills because some idiot does not know how to drive, he was in touch with my doctors about payment. In the end, I was happy with my settlement. He did not stop there. I had a number of medical liens on my case from insurance companies and Medi-Care. Mr. Rives is an expert in reducing those liens and putting the money in MY pocket. I would recommend him to anyone.

Angel was my lead lawyer at Desai Family Law which was the second law firm I hired after a five year ongoing divorce case. The first firm I hired was terrible and I'll just leave it at that. After an initial bad experience with the family law world, I decided to do my due diligence before hiring another lawyer, plus, I was doing pretty bad financially and couldn't really afford to hire any firm. Luckily, my ex-wife's situation wasn't amazing either and she had to drop her lawyer as well due to financial reasons, which resulted in both of us continuing our case pro-per. This led me to a two and a half year long journey where I had contacted dozens and dozens of family law firms and lawyers, getting as much free advise as I could and occasionally paying for an hour or two of consultation whenever I could afford it. In the process, I become very familiar with different lawyers all the way from the Valley down to Orange County. I talked and met with any type of lawyer you could imagine, from highly experience competent ones, to complete amateurs that were just trying to make a quick buck.
I contacted Desai Law about a year into my search and received a great consultation from one of their lawyers, but unfortunately didn't have the funds to hire them at the time. Fast forward a year and a half later, my case was on track to go to trial and my ex-wife got herself a new lawyer and so I found myself borrowing money and saving any penny I had, so I could hire one as well. I contacted Desai again and unfortunately, they were not available to take my case. After some convincing and after the the calendar of the owner, Swati Desai opened up, they were able to accept my case. Best course of events in my six year case (not a typo). We had a hearing coming up about a week after I had hired her. After an initial representation by Swati, their new addition to the team , Angel Camino, took the lead role in my case (my case was very complicated with many moving parts) and against my expectations that he will get up to speed so quickly, Angel became extremely familiar with my case in no time.
My case was set for trial, and Angel ended up settling before then and against all odds (I forgot to mention that my ex-wife received a pro-bono lawyer which meant she had zero overhead going into the trial and a low incentive to settle as a result).
Angel is an extremely competent, savvy, knowledgeable and most importantly - an honest and straight forward lawyer.
He is a master strategist and highly intelligent and at the same time trustworthy and really has your back.
My case involved a few businesses, another third party and had stretched over five years with an unbelievable amount of paperwork and court filings. Most lawyers I saw were deterred by the case due to its intricacy, but Angel took over it without a fling and delivered amazingly.
Can't recommend him enough.

For my last criminal case I interviewed several attorney through out the state. Danny was referred to me by a close friend. After Danny traveled two hours to see me for no charge he thoroughly went through all of my paper work and discussed my case. He never over promised just over delivered, Not only is Danny awesome but so is the rest of the Jackson square law team. 4 other lawyers told me I was looking at a minimum of four years. Danny and his team fought hard and short only nine months and I ended up with 54 days house arrest. They saved my life and my relationship with my now wife. Not only have they helped me out but several friends now. We all call him the white Johnny Cockran! I have seen him beat case over case. The office charges a little higher retainer at first but with all of the hours they put in at the office and other areas they charge way less by the hour. Call Danny, Lisa, or Zenia if you appreciate your freedom you will not regret it.

When i met Christopher Montoya I was incarcerated in the Santa clara county department of corrections and looking at a 3 strikes case where my maxium exposure wouod have been 30 years to lofe sentence if convicted. I had just been release from prison 13 days prior (I recieved 2 strikes on that case) to being charged with a new case in which i was looking at an additional 4 strikes and my sense of hope was only shared by one other person and that was Chris Montoya. I knew my case was a clear cut self denfese case as I was defending my family, my home and our property against 2 men however i knew that with my record, the fact i had just been relased from prison, and just cumulatively that the facts of the case were not going to be on my side was discouraging. Almost every laywer i spoke to told me that ny chances were not terrible, but they were definitely not good. Chris Montoya was always straight forward with me and professional, he never gave me any false hope, but instead was always adamant about the facts, giving me realistic advice about my case and was always logical in his observations of the case. Sometimes i wondered if chris ever slept becuase it seemed like he worked day and night non- stop on my case even though i knew he had other cases and a huge work load. The level of.professionalism he conducted himself worh was truly inspiring along side his tenacious attitude about his approach on dealing with the minutiae details surronding my case. Agaisnt his advice I decided to take my case to speedy trial and throughout the entire pricess whether it was the prelims, bail motions or trial readiness, Chris was always prepared and seemed to know every detail about those appearances and always let me know what i could expect. Chris spent many hours off the clock coming to visit with me at the jail to give me updates, to go over the facts, to let me know what his investigators were finding and giving me realistic faith that our case was getting stronger and that He would be ready to put on the fight of a lifetime to literally save my life. There were times i thought about getting a private attorney because there was so much on the line for me, if I lost this Trial i would spend the rest of my life in prison and i was only 34 years old at the time. It was something about the look in his eyes, his approach, his confindence in himself that made me feel Chris was the man for the job, so i wrnt with my gut and trusted him to fight for my life and i was right, He was. When i came time for trial, i had 2 witnesses against me alongside police testimony and a lengthy criminal history which none of these were going to be favorable for me winning my case. All i had was chris and even though i didnt want to testify Chris urged me to as he explained to me that this would be my best chance to win my trial. I trusted Chris and we spent countless hours working together on my testimony and he and i went to trial with all the odds stacked against us. Despite these glaring issues, Chris was prepared and every detail of the case was meticulously combed through by chris, from the jury selection, thr voir diers, the inlimes, and of the course Chris shinned with his experience as an attorney in the cross examinations, bringing to life crucial facts that stregthened our case. When it came time for me to tale the stand and fight for my life, I put my faith in GOD and i believed in chris so i told my story truthfully and with Chris in my corner i knew that I would be heard. As the closing arguments proceeded Chris illuminated the room with his natural charisma, but what stood out more was his passion and quest to tell my story, the truth. You could tell that Chris was born to do this for a living, to defens those who can not defend themselves. As the trial came to a close, the jury was unable to reach a unamious verdict, but instead the jury was hung 10-2 on one count and 9-3 in another in favor of not guilty. I was relased the follwing court date.

Just before the turn of the century Mr. LemMon represented me on a couple of cases I would have sworn there was no chance of me winning. Mr. LemMon came through with both wins. One was a traffic case and one a criminal. But both could have landed me in the gray-bar hotel for sometime. He believed in me, came up with a couple out of the box defenses that were winning ones. I was charged with several bogus lewd and lascivious acts. Mr. Freitas was warm and caring from the beginning. I was obviously shaken at the prospect of multiple consecutive life sentences but Mr. Freitas was always assuring (which eased my mind). Whenever I called, he was working on my closing argument (which was phenomenal by the way).

Seymour is the best lawyer I have ever used. I'm no angel but I'm also not a bad person. I have had many conflicts with the law and on paper the DA and judge see me as if I should be locked up and forgotten about. Seymour has defended me on every case ever since I was a young boy and each time has worked me amazing deals. I was always guilty. He knew it, the cops knew it, and of course the DA and judge knew it. With my neck in the noose Seymour worked the charges down and the time to a minimum. And in many cases no or little time at all. It may take a year or so but he always fulfills his initial promise of what he said he could get me. To keep a very long story short I was charged with murder, gang enhancements,and gun enhancements in March of 2014. I was sitting in county jail for about two in a half years before I was blessed with Sarah eisenhart and Alyssa Huff. Sarah made sure I had all my paperwork and watched all witnesses videos. She hired not one but two gang experts for our defense and had our p.i interview many witnesses and kept me updated on all progress. She never encouraged me to snitch and she is not scared to fight against the system. She explained to me in great detail the law and the theory on me. We turned down every deal the da offered. At the pretrial stage Alyssa wrote a 995 motion along with my help as I spent countless hours studying the law and my case. The second day of trial Sarah successfully agured the motion and my entire case got dismissed. Any one who knows the law knows that is unheard of. As a result the da was forced to offer me a deal that was only four months shy of credit time served. Sarah is very well know and respected in contra Costa county. She is extremely smart and leaves nothing to chance. Don't waste thousands of dollars on a private lawyer who won't do half what Sarah can do. I recommend Sarah to anyone fighting a felony case in contra Costa county. Since ivea been out I run into countless people who all tell me the same thing every time.. I can't believe your out i never thought idea see you again!! I respond by telling them the same thing every time I had the best lawyer!!!! To this day I still keep in close contact with Sarah. Our relationship is more than just a lawyer cilent one. At the time Alyssa wrote the motion she was a graduate law clerk most lawyers never successfully write a 995 motion on a case like mine in there whole career. I was lucky enough to have her appointed to me by the alternate defenders office! It was my first and only time ever having been in jail or any trouble at all. I was so relieved when she came to visit me and discuss my case before court which was scheduled for the next day. Ms. Eisenhart was soft spoken and kind, yet diligent and assertive. She was always well prepared and did everything in her power to genuinely help me get through my case which was a doozy of a first offence I must add. Numerous felony charges dismissed, thank god and my wonderful lawyer.... it helped that I'd never been in any trouble before that but there were times I'd missed court after h having been released from jail that I was still fighting the case and I had mistaken my court date and did not show up when I was supposed to and she had my back totally. She made sure the judge didn't issue a warrant for my arrest and got a new court date for me. My phone was disconnected sometimes and in that event she was always sure to contact my email until she got through to me and made sure I was ok and aware of my next hearing. She warned me when I needed warning, listened with patience even if I was ranting, and even let me know about certain family members of mine that were working against me so I could be aware and choose more wisely who I should and shouldn't share my personal business with. I really though that was refreshing and rare to be allowed information like that because it has a major impact on your life and sanity when people you love are working against you and everyone who knows about it just stays quiet while that watch you fall apart trying to figure out whose real or
