I contacted Ryan’s firm after getting into a predicament with my license. Is what I got when Aida took my case. My arrest for an OWI 3rd in MI came while I had an open OWI case pending in another state, and while charged with an OWI 3rd in MI it could have easily been a 4th. High BAC, almost 3 hours of police body and dash cam video along with four eyewitnesses is what she had to wade through. Aida navigated a sobriety court sentence in MI with no jail and no felony record and while she didn’t represent me in the other state, her cadence and timing led to our plea coming in first and set the table for an outcome I (and other attorneys who wanted 3x as much) didn’t think was possible.

I was a hibitual DUI offender, and hired Mr. Hyde after my third offense. He was able to get me the absolute minimum jail time, and worked it out where I only sat weekends due to my current life situation. He was thorough in trying to find the best possible defense for me, and was able to sway the court in my favor rather than doing a long stint in jail. Hopefully will never need another defense attorney, but if I do.. I know who I’m calling!

From the moment I told Susan about my traffic ticket, I knew she was the one. She understood that I was embarrassed and she told me what the process would look like, the likely timetable, and whether I would have to be involved. I know it was a routine matter for her, but she was great at keeping me informed and making sure I understood my options before she resolved it with the City Attorney's office. A St. Patty's day slip up led me searching for a legal representative. Based on a friend's experience with this man in particular i contacted him. He was on time to our consultation. He then informed me his rates with the intention of not going to trial. Couple court appearances down the road he then decided it would be best to go to trial. His rate stayed the same therefore hes an honest and serious representative. In the end the case was totally dismissed. On the way out he then said, "A win for you is a win for me". Even though it was a insignificant case he handled it with total proessionalism and confidence. Made me feel alot more comfortable knowing he was there. 12/10 would recommend to anyone seeking legal advice/ representation.

I wouldn't be an attorney today without Brian Laxton's assistance through the character and fitness process. It is not an exaggeration to say that Michigan has one of the most difficult and stressful licensure processes in the United States. Brian knew exactly what to do, the finer details of the process, and how to best present my case to both the district and standing committees. Once we prevailed at the standing committee Brian also successfully petitioned the board of law examiners to preserve my bar exam score. This was a particularly big relief since my obligations to the national guard and a major wrist surgery left me with less than a month to prepare for the July exam. I hired an attorney who did everything he could to keep my case from trial. He was negative and didn’t seem to want to help me with my case. That gentleman quit my case and refunded the entirety of my retainer.
Daniel was the complete opposite of my previous attorney, with intelligent thoughts and a positive outlook about my case. In the end, Daniel negotiated a very agreeable settlement that satisfied all parties. The judge congratulated him on his efforts in her closing remarks.

I've been an expert witness for 14 years. I recently sat through an entire trial with Scott. I've seen more attorneys than the average person (dozens) arguing cases. He won hands down getting a substantial judgement in favor of his client going the extra mile every step of the way. I'm getting nothing for this review and now live in another state so I am not looking forward to future business from Scott, rather I'm being totally sincere and disinterested. He's truly a gifted litigator and comes across to the jury in a way I've never seen before. If you want an honest lawyer, you found the one! I can't tell you how many lawyers I spoke with, that just tried to scare me about charges.

Mark did an excellent job handling my case. He told me exactly what to do relative to treatment, counseling and other actions to take which would be presented to the court prior to my trial in order to justify having taken responsibility for my offense and minimize the sentence. I always felt I was in good hands and never had a single thought of "Why didn't he do this or that?" Via a Cobbs agreement, I received the minimum 30 day jail sentence, 2 years of probation and 360 hours of community service. Given the potential for extended jail or even prison time, I was very pleased with the outcome and felt Mark's representation was an excellent value relative to the cost.

Rachel made sure she understood what my goals for the outcome was when negotiating a plea deal and made sure that we got it. She also made sure that I was adequately prepped before each session and made sure I didn’t have any questions after we were done. Hire him. No one wants to pay court fees but with Mr. Weinberg your money goes to a good man & you get what you pay for if not more. Prosecution wanted to loophole my case for higher fines & charges but Scott prevented that & provided me with a fair sentence. While I hope I won't need him again he'd be my first choice.

I had ran a red light while drunk and smashed into a truck, flipping it over(somehow no one was injured). My blood work came back as super drunk. I had tried myself, and it was turned down. Over fairly small things I didn't realize would be an issue or I would have done things differently. So it was recommended to me to talk to him. SO glad I did. He is VERY focused on details. Which is needed or you can get rejected for simple things. So he made sure everything was together, and any detail that could be potentially questioned was backed up with info on it so the secretary of state could have a full and accurate picture of everything. He was amazing from start to finish. He also is very to the point on what may be looked at as an issue and to let you know ahead of time so if you do get questioned on certain things you know what to expect. Also, very easy to reach and stays in contact throughout the process and gets back to any call or email quickly. He is very invested in presenting the best case possible for his clients and does care about his clients- rare from my experience with lawyers. He is amazing and very good at what he does.

Mr. Langscheid is truly the best there is out there, for what he does. He has been doing this for a long, long time... And is so good in fact, that he does it all by himself and isn't part of a group. He doesn't need to be, that's how successful he is at winning cases. His attention to detail when it comes to catching errors in paperwork and cross examining a story so all the pieces fit correctly in the case before being put before a hearing officer or judge, is astounding. He caught details that even my husband and I didn't catch, and it was our own case and paperwork, our hopes and dreams at stake. Most lawyers just leave it up to you to not make any errors, take your money and word for it, file whatever you give them and don't check anything... Putting you at risk to lose your case. Not to mention they are very hard to get ahold of, don't respond for weeks or follow up, and are likely to allow their personal opinons get in the way of their client's chances of success, because they develop certain attitudes when it comes to places or events surrounding your case. Not Mr. Langscheid. He is very attentive, responds quickly within a few days at most, answers his phone if for some reason you have a question or concern, and is dead serious when it comes to winning your case. When you are serious and ready to find the one who will help you get your DL back, call him. Be prepared to be completely honest about your story on the intake call with him. He will not take your first payment if he doesn't feel like the case can be won, and if anybody can win your case, it's him only. Don't omit any nasty details or try to smooth things over on the intake call, because if you do that you'll only be fooling yourself and he needs to realistically know the absolute truth before any money is taken. At some point all the dirty details will need to come out anyway and nobody needs to put themselves or others in that position for failure.
After 13 years of being without a DL, a few days ago my husband went to the DMV and got his license back thanks to Mr. Langscheid. All I can say is be prepared to be sober and honest, do EXACTLY what he tells you to do without argument, and remember that he has your best interest in mind. If you do that, you will get your license back.
