Where do I begin? My experience with Mr. Mauro began by dealing with Sara, his paralegal. What a peach she is!!! She made me feel right at ease in dealing with my speeding ticket I got while on a vacation to Old Forge. I am a commercial driver so I could not afford to have points on my record. I did a search and found him on line. Not knowing who you are calling when you live in Virginia and having to deal with the legal system in NY can be daunting to say the least but Sara was so easy and confident in who she was and how she handled everything. So professional but yet caring. One hopes they never need legal assistance again but if the need arises...well.... I will just get to talk to Sara again ;>) Oh yes and by the way....no points on my record and a mild fine was the settlement of my heavy foot. Thanks Ricardo.

A couple of months ago, I received a speeding ticket in Upstate NY for doing 96 in 55 which could've led to a possible license suspension. Right away, I hired Zachary to take my case and all I could do was hope for the best outcome. Zachary made sure to stay in to contact with me updating me whenever something new happened regarding the case. I'm pleased to say that he did way better than I expected and worked out a deal to a no-points parking ticket with a reasonable fine. I was beyond grateful and I would highly recommend him!!

Zach has helped me significantly throughout my cases. Everything from tickets to general defense, he excels at what he does and has provided the best defense that I could ask for. A couple years ago I managed to get charged with 2 DUI's. Despite catching the charges pretty much back to back, he got me to walk on both of them. John Mitchell is a great listener and can diagnose the legal issue,and make understandable to the lay person. . He is very experienced, and highly knowledgeable. He then goes on to run the traps and explain clearly the strategy that needs to be implemented. He guided us in a 2255 and refined the application, specified timelines that needed to be met to be in compliance. I'm a single father with sole custody and sole physical custody of my daughter. Peter's hard work and dedication to the case made that possible. Through the long and lengthy court proceeding, Peter was very informative and was on top of the case. The case was on going for 13 months with 26 days of trial. Peter worked very hard for me as I'm absolutely sure he does for all his clients. Not only is he an attorney he has a heart. Michael Mohun is not only a great attorney but an extremely kind man. I am 23 living on my own away from my family and with absolutely no help financially. I work full time and have been trying for years to repair my horrible driving record. Of course to do that requires payment of fines and fees which I have to work to pay for so it's almost impossible to not drive. As soon as I would get close to regaining my licence I would slip up and get slapped with a whole bunch of tickets thus starting over again. I was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator in the second degree (AUO 2nd) and a speeding ticket and was denied a puplic defender because my income is too high (apparently they don't take into consideration expenses other than the extremely bare basics). I googled attourneys in the area and called the first one I saw which happened to be mr. Mohun and i told him my story. He understood my situation and offered to take my case with no charge. We spoke a few times on the phone and he was very nice and didn't seem any less helpful because he was taking my case for free. We met at court where the DA originally wanted 30 days in jail for the AUO 2nd and the speeding reduced to illegal parking with fines for both but mike got it reduced to a non misdemeanor driving with out a licence and illegal parking with my fines only totalling something like $425. I am now waiting to see if I'm approved to get my licence back and I owe it all to mike! Sometimes it just takes one person to cut you a break for things to start getting better.

Well, I haven't needed his assistance personally in some time! He has represented some of my family, friends and I over the years and I recommend him every chance I get! Glad I hired Mr. Holmgren to handle the issue I was dealing with. I'm extremely happy with the agreement that resulted from his services. He did an excellent job navigating the complex avenues of the law and did a better job of handling me when I became "emotional" about the wheels of justice.

Unfortunately, I received a DUI a couple of years ago. I was represented by Mr. Kenneth Yu, who successfully got my case dismissed and sealed. Mr. Yu was extremely professional and guided me through every step of the process. He explained my options and devised a plan of action for every possible scenario, which was vital when going through this difficult time. In the end, my case was dismissed completely! I was facing a misdemeanor with the prosecutor asking the judge for 30 days in jail. Most of the statements against me were fabricated by the prosecutors witnesses. My lawyer could not help me. I asked for a continuance and hired Joseph Corrozzo. Even though the case was in upper NY state ,Joseph heard my side and took the case. He hired PI's to investigate my side then started to go to work on the validity of the witnesses against me. Days before my court date he flew up to meet with the prosecutor to go over ALL the evidence that was presented to him and ALL the evidence that contradicts the States case. When he walked out of the prosecutors office he said the State was going to drop all charges based on the information that we now had. This was a complicated case that only if the whole story was told I would have had a chance . Joseph at no point during his time with me ever waivered on my innocence and constantly reassured me that he would make sure i was given a fair chance. His confidence and knowledge of the law was remarkable. No written words could truly describe the work he did.

I received a Pink Summons violation (under penal code) with a short window to the scheduled arraignment date.
Attorney James Shalley handled it expertly, resulting in the Judge dismissing the case and sealing the public record with no court fees or fines. It will not appear on future background checks.
I found Attorney Shalley online. His website was unique in providing rich and clear legal and procedural explanations for people who received NYC Summons. I also liked his honest tone.
He responded to me promptly over the weekend. After initial emails and conversations, I hired him using his simple online form. Later he was prepared and efficient in preparing my defense, requesting additional information, and calming my nerves prior to appearing for me.
The NYC court system is disorganized, error prone and intimidating. I strongly recommend taking advantage of his expertise rather than going it alone.

My 20 years old daughter visited New York for the first time in her life alone during a spring break and made a mistake of trespassing in an area that was prohibited. She was lost and didn't realized where she was going. She was charged with trespassing and was summoned for a court appearance. However, She lives in Seattle so It was not possible to make it to the court in time. Mr. Shalley helped her charge to be dismissed and took care of her case so that it won't show on her record. I highly recommend Sean I have never been convicted of any crime in my life. I don’t want to go into specifics of my case but the charges were serious with heavy consequences. All I can say he is the only one that believed my story. The system is the system they don’t really care, but Sean made me very comfortable and help me with the case I don’t have that, but he was recommended by by my best friend who he also helped liberate him in the court of law.

I hired Mr.Ford after consulting 10 lawyers prior.He listened to what I wanted out of my divorce and educated me on the process and my rights in this matter. I'm not the best writer but let me give a try to describe the experience with Mr. Michael Jannuzzi as this website asks.
When I needed someone to defend me Michael took it upon himself to travel and personally vouch for me with the judge...who claimed to "know me" better than Michael did despite our years acquainted. I mean, the judge was clearly angry with me and Michael said "But your honor...I know this guy he is ok!" something like that...
How did we get to that point?
I think the first time we worked with Michael Januzzi was for our house closing several years prior where he clearly showed the sellers and bank representatives that we were well represented.
Next was for things that perhaps I am not proud to admit but Michael Jannuzzi will indeed defend you to the best of his ability, not only to the point that you "paid for" or try to make an easy deal with the district attorney or judge. He is NOT the type (and I'm sure we have all met the type) to say "send the money then we will talk" I believe that Michael looks for the good in people and feels that anyone can change, even if they are in some trouble in life. This is one of the things that helped me get out of the rut I was in and turn my life around.
I cannot tell you how good it feels...the relief you get when sitting in a jail cell, powerless to defend yourself then Michael shows up to let you know with straight talk what is going on, what the judge thinks and that he is there not only fighting but advocating for you.
I went from having a decent life and home to being down and out. Without Michael and others I may never have made it back to a normal life.
I got into serious trouble for not showing up to court nearly 2 years and was hauled in on a bench warrant. The charges were serious too. I already owed Michael so I did not call him or mention him. When I met the judge I was alone. I told the judge I needed public defender. She saw my record and that Michael Jannuzzi was my lawyer previously and asked why ("Michael" she called him) was not there to represent me. I told her that I did not want to bother him...She said well, "you are going to need him and I want to find out what your deal is so I will call Michael him in here myself." Sure enough the cavalry arrived and I nearly cried when I saw Mike.
All the while Michael never asked me for a dime or even made me feel uncomfortable about not being able to pay him while spending hours or complete days of his time on my problems. Always took my calls, always did his absolute best despite the fact that I even deserved to be punished.
Mike explained to me that the judge was determined to let me spend some time behind bars and that I should just accept that but he will make sure he does everything on his part to follow me along and didn't leave me feeling like I was alone. I think he had to go to court at least 3 times for this and Michael showed up and worked for my best interests each time.
I have tried a few other lawyers because I live outside NY now and had terrible experiences. If you read that someone was ripped off by a lawyer then it is likely true.
You will have a hard time finding a lawyer or a man who who you can trust like Michael Jannuzzi.
It is without hesitation that I recommend Michael as one of the best lawyers available to represent in whatever legal entity you require. If he says he can do it...let him do it.

They didn't take my case because according to them I didn't need their help and... I didn't. The case was dismissed. That's obviously not their doing, but I was willing to pay and they refused to take my money. They must have spent over 2 hours on the phone with me over 3 or 4 phone calls and didn't charge me a penny because "it's the right thing to do". I'm really impressed by that. That's honorable and if I even get in trouble again, I'm calling them.

Maria Chiodi helped us through a long and drawn out refinancing ordeal. My wife and I are grateful for this stroke of luck to have had her on our side. A previous lender never filed a satisfaction of mortgage from a previous loan and Maria made numerous phone calls on our behalf and sat through long durations of being on hold. When the loan company failed to produce the documents on time (several months into the refinance process), Maria found a work around that allowed us to move forward with the refinance and avoid losing the interest rate.
