The closing of an estate in TN while living quite a distance away and having no experience with the process made me very fearful. Went to the internet for help and selected “Family Law Practice of David A. Montgomery”. Glad I did. I was panicking on the first phone call to David but his kind calm manner and patience put me at ease right away. Plus, I only had to travel 2 times throughout the year of closing. The second trip would not have been needed but there was a difficult bank. David’s guidance made my job as executor easy and stress free. He was very quick to answer emails. When my husband and I needed some estate planning and probate work done, we searched the internet and came up with David Montgomery. We went to our first meeting with high hopes of finding the right person who would understand our needs, address our concerns, and protect our interests all while charging a fair price. David has not only fulfilled our hopes, but exceeded our expectations. My husband has worked with more than 20 attorneys over the years and his biggest complaint has always been the responsiveness he has gotten. That is not the case with David. He might not have the answer right away, but he gets back to you in an expected amount of time and keeps you informed of his findings. That is huge to us! I would highly recommend MC Davis to anyone in the process of a family law matter, specifically divorce. MC had a personal touch and never failed to ask me how I was doing personally. This meant so much to me during what was probably the most stressful and intense experience of my life. Before you hire Jerrold L. Becker from this firm, you should understand what type of "attorney" he is.
In a recorded phone call conversation from our past "attorneys" Paul Wehmeier/Kim Burnette, Becker informed them his client was accusing my husband of answering our front door with gun raised at his clients acquaintance. If that was the case, husband would have been arrested as acquaintance was unarmed. As my husband told Paul/Kim the interaction was recorded as we RECORD everything (including 10 minutes before showing acquaintance on his clients property before coming to ours). Husband wasn't even home, my recording clearly shows acquaintance walking behind our house and me from our top deck asking them to leave-no weapon drawn thus this LIE could not be legally processed. This is just one of several questionable actions generated by Jerrold L. Becker intended to make us spend more on attorney fees.
Take our advise: Record everything with this firm as it will save you aggravation and money.

I have been in a domestic marital circumstance for almost 9 years that 3 other attorneys, either unresolved or did a sub par job, that had me in a bad situation that I needed desperately resolved.
After calling Mr. Grant and explaining my complex situation, he spent over an hour in a free consultation explaining his ideas and expertise on my case. Attention I had never gotten in a paid hour with other attorneys. With that confidence, I retained Mr. Grant, and he resolved the issue in 7 weeks without stepping into the Chancery Court.
I will never call another Jackson Attorney except Mr. Grant and it was the first time I finished with an attorney and said it was money well spent.
Would recommend him to anyone in Jackson with a divorce, custody and support case as complex as mine or as simple as mine started.
I wish I called him 9 years ago.

Blake took my case to trial when many others told me not to or just did not have trail experience. He got me a not guilty verdict on one charge and appealed the charge I was found guilty on. Which had a similar result. If you are thinking about going to trail I would suggest Blake Kelly. He took the time to look into my case and assured me I had done nothing wrong and to not take the deal. He was prepared with the work it took to defend me and win my case.

My troubles started 4 years ago when a detective from Marshal county set me up and proceeded to charge me with a felony that I didn't do. At the time I had no record or knowledge of the law. I just wanted things behind me. I hired a lawyer who was part of the Marshall county cartel and he just went along with everything they said. Long story short I now have a target on me because I bought a farm that Tony Nichols wanted. That man was trying to take advantage of me being ignorant to the law. Last I heard they were getting me on several felonies and sending me to prison for 10+ years. I then got in contact with Ross and he had different plans so I was able to walk out of the hell hole that is Marshall county court house a free man. Ross is so personable and knowledgeable, it gives him the advantage over any other lawyer. If you've been hung out to dry and see no way out from the corruption that we call small town Tennessee politics, do yourself a favor and get Ross Brazil on your side.
P.S. the DA in Marshall County is corrupt as all get out. They all are down there and need to be stopped.

Luke came to my defense in an aggravated burglary charge, not only was he very responsive he kept my family informed about what was happening now and what was more than likely going to happen while I was incarcerated. On the day of my preliminary hearing he was able to get all my charges dropped without having to spend any more time in jail.Thats exactly what he told me and my family he would do. Luke is trustworthy and reasonably priced and I would reccomend him to anyone in the upper cumberland area who has charges pending.

He and Ms. Baker got us through a difficult Termination of Parental Rights and Adoption Case professionally and empathetically. Not only did Mr.Byars sound the most confident out of all the lawyers i spoke with, he in fact gave better projections for what he felt was possible and stuck to his word.
