I'm a Georgia lawyer who was ticketed for going 81 in a 70 mph zone on I-95 in Emporia. Then I got letters from lawyers seeking to represent me and explaining the possible consequences. Andy didn't send me a letter. I found him because I knew it is best to have a lawyer, a good lawyer, who lives in the local county. So I went online and called some of the local lawyers and stopped after I talked with Andy. He did a great job for me at a reasonable fee. No points on my record. No fine. Paid court costs. Jennie did a phenomenal job in representing me on a tricky speeding case. I was pulled over on the end of a downhill slope for going 90+/70 and headed for a reckless driving conviction which could have had serious consequences for me. Jennie understood what was at stake and from the beginning had very thorough explanations and always made my available options clear to me. She tried to make a plea bargain with the prosecutor who would not accept it, and so she suggested that we tried the case in front of the judge. She laid out the facts very clearly and built up the case to the judge in a terrific manner. In the end the judge agreed with her and decided to reduce my charges to a speeding ticket. I can't say enough how grateful I am for her work. It was amazing and I am SO glad I contacted her. Thank you Jennie!

Jennie is a life saver for my driving record in Virginia. If it wasn't for her, I may not have my license right now. Covington may be a pretty small town, but they still have strict and frequent patrolling by State Police and Local Enforcement, specifically on the Interstate for anyone that knows the area. Nonetheless, I was pinned for a 80/70 that was reduced from an 84/70 on the spot by a friendly and forgiving Officer. Jennie worked with the Commonwealth Attorney directly to allow me to take a driving safety course and avoid negative points on my record by reducing it from a speeding ticket to another type of infraction without damage to my record. She completely got me off this first time and then, flash forward close to 3 years later it happened again, only worse at 90/70, and I thought for sure I was done for considering the Officer did not cut me a break whatsoever. I thought to myself "My luck has finally run out" but she managed to get it dropped to a regular speeding ticket and avoided a misdemeanor on my record and other severe implications caused by a reckless driving ticket/borderline intent to kill ticket (Virginia does not mess around with Speeding).
In both instances, I did not even have to attend the court hearings (luckily so as I am not from that area and can't afford to miss work). PLEASE Do not hesitate to contact Jennie as she will work until you are satisfied and do everything in her power to limit traffic ticket complications. Thank you Jennie.

Adam Hancock is easily the best lawyer you can hire for (criminal) DUI charges in Arlington. His commitment to achieving the desired outcome and dedication to ensuring that outcome is met is second to none. Before hiring Adam I had been charged over 5x more by a highly rated lawyer here on avvo who literally did nothing for me and we took a plea deal that wasnt good for anyone but the prosecutor and my previous lawyer. Adam showed care and compassion when handling my case and even fought through the appeals court with me to reach our desired outcome. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Adam Hancock was the first and last attorney I've dealt with. I was facing a DUI (first offense), and scared to death. You would be a fool to not hire this guy if you have any type of traffic or criminal case. He got me off the hook with a nine point, three ticket charge, while I had 10 demerit points! He also got another guy off completely who was clearly guilty of larceny (stolen gift cards) and owned the Arlington prosecutor.

I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. He also didn’t try to get a ridiculous amount of money out of me like so many lawyers try to. Something really neat was that the head of the firm would occasionally join us during our appointments, which was awesome. I 100% recommend Josue Casanova. He is an amazing lawyer and person.

I really do wish that I had done my research and gone to Mr.Kearney from the beginning. The first lawyer that I hired for my car accident was from a big name company in the area and a friend of mine who used to work for him recommended him so I thought what could go wrong. Practically everything from not getting back with me for two months, to asking me to resend paperwork that I had already sent in, to telling me that he doesn't believe that I would be getting much out of this case almost a year later! Changing over to Mr.James Kearney was a decision I made based off of the reviews on this site as well as his background info particularly the part related to him having worked on the side of the insurance company so he knew how they thought. If I had a question I think that the longest it took for him to get back with me was the days end but it was usually an immediate phone call or email. I also didn't feel as if I needed to constantly contact him as he kept me in the loop with my case every step of the way. I learned more about my case with him than I ever did with the previous lawyer. And I absolutely love how you get him directly and not a secretary that you hoped passed on the message to him. Since he doesn't take on more than a certain number of cases at a time he was able to make you feel like you were his only client. I wasn't just another case to him as he was very concerned about my injuries and hopes that I can get back to my profession some day. Regarding the case itself we settled for everything that we asked for! A far cry from the previous attorney saying that I wouldn't get much at all! He fought hard for us and we didn't even have to go to court. The last thing that I want to do is go through another car accident but if I did I know exactly who to call without hesitation and you better believe that I will be giving his info to anyone who might need his expertise. I was falsely accused of extremely serious criminal offenses for which I was interrogated, charged, arrested, jailed, tried (jury trial), and eventually acquitted. I was initially charged with 4 felonies that grew to 6 felonies after having been indicted before a grand jury. I was facing the possibility of life in prison for things I didn't do and Mr. Bruns believed in my innocence and fought extremely hard for the truth from day one. I was recently involved in a no fault car accident. I called several attorneys. With most I could not even get past the initial person answering the phone. I contacted Ms Sampson after I was involved in a car crash resulting in personal injury. She reviewed my case, presented my options and vigorously fought the auto insurance company of the at fault driver. Sandra Sampson was my defense lawyer for 3 Felony charges in the City of Norfolk. The charges had a combined maximum sentence 30 years in jail and up to $100k in fines. I contacted Ms. Sampson the day after my arrest and she immediately took up my case. She kept me informed through the processes and always presented all of my options, their consequences, and, if I asked her questions about the proceedings, she gave me informed answers. The entire process from arrest to outcome took only about two months, and as the title states I received a nolle prosequi (no contest) for each charge against me. I was facing some very serious felony charges. I could have been charged with 10+ felony charges. Aaron Cook negotiated with the police dept. to where I was only being charged with a few felonies. Due to these charges it looked as though I could potentially face years in jail if not for having an attorney. Aaron was able to make a deal with the commonwealth and as a result I faced zero jail time.

We are in the middle of the divorce case I hired Victoria for, however I am in SC and she is in VA so we have to do it all by email and phone. Mr. Robinson was my court appointed attorney for a case that I thought was completed and dismissed years ago, but apparently there was one loose end that kept it from being finalized and so a bench warrant was issued for me for a probation violation. Not only did Mr. Robinson call me and review my case over the phone but he showed true empathy for my situation and actually told me exactly what I needed to obtain as far as documents so he could present them to the judge to request the case be finalized and the probation violation be dismissed. From start to finish, he was always easy to get ahold of if I had any questions, and if I had to leave a message he returned my call pretty much immediately. I only had to go in front of the judge one time and Mr. Robinson went on my behalf the last time and was able to have the issue dismissed. I'm forever thankful for how he handled everything so professionally and smoothly, not to mention quickly (which kept my attorney fees down to the minimum) As much as I hope I will never need one again, if I ever do need another attorney I would definitely call upon Mr. Robinson to represent me, because he has proven to be a great attorney and I know that he would have my best interest in mind and I would feel completely at ease knowing that I could rely on him. I first got acquainted with David Robinson when I became a witness to a crime. My downstairs neighbor had an unfortunate incident involving the ex-girlfriend and mother of his young son. If my neighbor was convicted, he would be end up in jail for a very long time in jail, his parental rights would have been taken away, and he would have a criminal felony on his record.
David Robinson was the court appointed attorney which means David only received $320 for all his time involving this case. What makes David so unique is he has no tolerance for injustice. He is a lawyer of true integrity and dedication. David spent many hours on this case which resulted in the charges being dropped.
A few months later, I got in trouble with the law. I called David, and told him about my troubles. He quickly made time in his busy schedule to see me. Tim knows his stuff. I had three charges, 2 misdemeanors, 1 felony, I was founf not guilty of one of the misdemeanors and the other two charges were dismissed. He also made it so that after I am able to expunge the arrests, so it is as if the incident never happened.
