How have I not reviewed Mr. Spencer on this website already? Mr. Spencer is incredible. He truly gives so much time and attention to your case and tells you exactly what his expectations are. To be honest, he has never steered me wrong in any of the custody cases (there have been way more than I’d like to admit, unfortunately) he has represented myself (and now my husband) in. In fact, he has never even been wrong in his expectations of the outcome of any of my cases thus far. He is capable of dealing with complex situations and suggesting the best approaches to difficult subjects. He is down to earth and very personable/knowledgeable. If you’re hesitant to hire Mr. Spencer, my suggestion to you is simple: Don’t be!

I recently engaged Ms Fierro on a serious criminal matter involving my son, which at the outset seemed very bleak. In the first discussion, she presented a number of options that helped reset our whole engagement in the matter. She laid out a set of alternatives, that she diligently pursued and actively involved my son in the decision process all along the way. Her knowledge of the law, and excellent communication skills made the entire process easy to move through. She also recommended the use of an expert witness that proved critical to the outcome. In the courtroom, Ms. Fierro was extremely proactive in advocating for my son's case. She presented such a strong case, that the result was a dismissal.
I am an attorney by training, but my specialty is constitutional law. From the vantage point of a person trained in the law, I was very impressed with Ms. Fierro's understanding of the law and procedural aspects of the case.
I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for insightful hard working and extremely competent representation.

Mr. Birocco provided a defense that gave me confidence in my case that eventually went favorably for me. After telling him my side, we went over the police report together and he noted everything which was contrary to my report. He was very resourceful in filing motions, and was bold in confronting the officer about the report during my hearing. We met several times over my case and I was informed by him every step of the process. He offered me his professional opinion but always let me decide how we would proceed. In the end, my charge was dismissed at trial as a result of a motion "to suppress" that mr. birocco filed. Even though we were prepared for trail, I didn't have to be tried because his efforts in filing motions came through for me. I recommend birocco to anyone who feels your rights have been violated, or you have to prove your innocence, or you want the best representation for your guilt.

First and foremost, when I came into the office from the beginning she was willing and ready to help. I had evidence and she was ready to help me with my case right away . My attorney filed motion to dismiss my DUI case and challenged the video evidence. He was meticulously in his questions to the Police Officer. He questioned every sentence the police uttered during the stop. The Judge agreed with him and he my case was dismissed.

After going through a 2 year custody battle with my ex-husband, 3 continuances and still no court date, I hired Ms. McClenney and she got me a court date quickly. The day of court, Ms. McClenney appeared ready and well prepared to fight for me. Josh was great and very informative. He contacted me multiple times before my case and even after. I received a reckless driving ticket for speeding. I called Garrett Law Group after finding them on the internet. I spoke with Mr. Titter on the phone. While he did advise me of the seriousness of the ticket (I had no idea I could go to jail), he told me that my case didn't appear too bad. He had me get some documents to him, and he told me to go to traffic school. In court, I don't know exactly what happened. Mr. Titter objected to something the officer did and the judge dismissed my case. He told me the officer made a mistake. Good enough for me!

Jacqueline has decreased her divorces cases but agreed to take mine- thank goodness! I had a previous lawyer blow through a large retainer without even getting the first responses out. I was looking for help to resolve the matter quickly and efficiently- for my financial and emotional well being. It still wasn't cheap but she kept me sane while dealing with a circus on the other side. Kept the important things in life in focus. If you are looking for a traffic attorney any where near Courtland VA I highly recommend Railey and Railey! I got pulled over going over 80mph which means it is a reckless driving ticket. I live 5 hours away from where I got pulled over. After researching many attorneys I decided to go with Railey and Railey. They were terrific! They represented me at court so I did not have to go. My charge was reduced to a non-moving violation, which means no points!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Mike got my charge dropped down from a felony to a misdemeanor with no jail-time. By doing that he saved me from going 2 prison. I was on probation at time of offense, so now I have a probation violation and Mike said that he would help me free of charge. The reason being that I payed him 2500.00 for the case that got me the violation. I know a lot of lawyers would have tried 2 get more $$ out of me, but not Mike. Hoping n praying not to get in anymore trouble, but if so, I’ll call n hire him again.

The co-defendant in my case wanted to fire his attorney and have Mr. Painter represent both of us, although Mr. Painter informed us that this was not in either of our best interests. I asked around, and did my own research looking for an attorney to represent me for an appeal from general district court. Mr. Milam's office responded to me in a timely manner, didn't push me to come in, and worked with me for an appointment time. Mr. Milam listened patiently to my thoughts and ideas regarding my situation, and made me feel comfortable to ask all questions I had. He made no promises, but I really liked his attitude and when he asked "what have you got to lose?" I knew he heard/understood what I was saying. He knows his stuff. Marvin is a great lawyer. He is very knowledgeable about the law and will work your case. I ended up firing my previous attorney and Marvin represented me in a Grand Larceny case. It was a minor offense but because I was already serving a sentence, and this would have been my second conviction, he got me off with a slap on the wrist. I ended up doing less time and sentenced to less than the first judge sentenced me to.
Marvin has a very dry humor and often that is how he tells you what is going on. This might turn off some people. At first, it turned me off but I realized that this was just his personality and how comes off. In a way, he did not sugarcoat anything. I had that problem with my first attorney. I ended up with a 2 year sentence because he mishandled my case. I was guilty but in our society you get what you pay for in terms of legal representation. I paid heavily and did not get what I paid for(First Attorney). Marvin was the exact opposite. He was pricey at almost $9000 (Thank god to family and friends) but I was very pleased with the service. His office staff are very warm and nice too(Catherine). I am grateful to her for always getting my messages to Marvin, and my family when I could not reach them.
They bent over backwards to try to help me deal with my sentence. At times I would call them to contact my family or to make sure I was getting treated fairly in jail/prison. They always went above and beyond.They even wrote a letter to the Warden to get back on a medication I was taking. They had decided to take me off of it even though it was working but a bit pricey(They will get you on cheap stuff in there to cut costs). Thanks to a letter from Marvin, I was placed back on the medication. I do not know what would have happened if I was not placed back on this medication. It was one of the only ones that worked.
If you are looking for a good attorney in Fairfax County or Northern Virginia you should consider Marvin Miller. At least you will know you got your moneys worth. He is very professional and in the courtroom conducted himself like an attorney. He stood up to the prosecutor like he was suppose to, and asked the Judge for leniency. My previous attorney was scared and shaking. You need an attorney with balls, that is aggressive, and can get you the least amount of punishment if you are already going to be punished.
The legal system in Virginia is ridiculous, and in Fairfax County even more horrifying. So you need someone who can keep you out of trouble. Marvin Miller is the man!!!! I hope I do not need his services again because I am leading a straight and narrow life, but you bet I would call him again if it came to it.

Mr. Pugh was our custody/visitation lawyer. He knows his stuff inside and out and after working with him, if we needed to hire an attorney again, we would have zero hesitation hiring him again. We had swapped from another attorney, also known in the area, to try a chance with Mr. Pugh after using the services of his partner, Mr. Karpov (who's equally impressive), and it was the best decision we could have made. Our previous lawyer was very hesitant and submissive in their advice to us each time an issue occurred which was frustrating. In contrary, Mr. Pugh was straight to the point and confident while seamlessly rolling with the punches in action. He advised us realistically and in a style that matched my husband's needs and made us feel secure walking into the court. Greg Pugh is one of those old school lawyers who doesn't have to pay to be at the top of a website. If you understand anything about the legal industry you understand what I am talking about, I unfortunately went through a rough patch in life and got arrested for DUI two times within a year. The first lawyer I hired had a hundred 5 star reviews, I paid $5000 for my first DUI... BIG mistake I was sold and thought I had to of been hiring the best because the price and the reviews. NO I would of got the same deal had I used a public defender... it was an expensive learning lesson however after that painful experience I took the advice of someone who referred Mr. Pugh. Mr. Pugh did not sell me and tell me he was going to hold my hand like the previous attorney. I went on the fact he has been practicing for over 30 years, I was nervous because I was at risk of losing my career in the military and facing serious jail time. I respected his resume and prayed I wasn't going to get results I got from the first lawyer I hired. Well case was dismissed and I was charged 1800.00 ... I will never recommend anyone else and I am happy that there are still good people in this world that are not just trying to make a quick dollar and pretend to care about my military career and future. We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. I found her thru my company Group Legal program and boy am I glad I did. My case is interstate with me living in NC and the NCP in VA. Sadly my NCP is what they call a "runner", which made the case extremely difficult and time consuming. I hired Mrs. Hardy off our first phone call. I was out of sight and had never met her till our first hearing, but she was someone that I trusted off her knowledge and professionalism. I was not disappointed.
My case was about 7 mos long with a lot of motions and issues, but she was diligent and efficient. She didn't waste time or money and was always willing to find the time to talk and explain the legal issues of my case. I was not a good client because I thought I knew what I was doing, I was emotional and at times very hard to deal with. It didn't phase Mrs. Hardy at all. She listened and advised in the best manner for my child. She Won. She is a winner.. She changed my life and the life of my child. She made the difference and that's exactly what you want when you are dealing in Family matters. Its scary to go to court but having an experienced and professional attorney who is compassionate and patient, changes the whole process. Being out of state made it even more difficult and nerve racking and of course the court system is very slow. I was able to put my faith in her, while continuing my life in NC. I did not have the resources to go back and forth to court and I left it all in her capable hands and she lead me to Victory and an extremely excellent outcome.
