Seth was communicative and clear, he always made me feel comfortable with the progression of my case and "broke it down" so I didn't feel like any lawyer-ese was too dense. The most difficult part was waiting for dates to come due to COVID delays, but Seth and his team made it pretty painless. The deposition was much easier than I prepared myself for it to be (due in part to Seth's pre-depo explanation and info sharing). The final result was a great one, and I was very glad to have everything behind me. At no point did Seth lose sight of our goals, and he made me feel like I had a voice in my own case - not only that but going up against a global brand felt easy with him at my side. After charging with a DUI, I searched for a lawyer that I can trust and rely on to defend me. I stumble on the Anthony Marcus Law Firm on Yelp. I was really amazed with the good reviews I was reading about attorney Marcus. I then went to other links that show more outstanding reviews. I, there and then decided to contact him, the reviews were really accurate, he was friendly, patient and explained all the steps of navigating the court regarding my case. I meet with him afterward. Immediately, I observed his confident and his knowledge of the law. He truly changed my anxiety to calmness. Not only he did what he said he will do, he is affordable. He gave me a discount after he initially gave me a good price compare to other attorneys’ quotes. When he appeared in court, Mr. Marcus immediately communicated with the DA and the court and got me a good deal from the court with no jail time even though my case involved property damages to others. I found myself in desperate need of a lawyer after I was sexually assaulted by a coworker/long time friend of mine. Every avenue I had gone through to hold him accountable led nowhere. I went to our HR department and they did nothing. I went to law enforcement, the DA denied my case. I went to file a restraining order against him so at least he would be removed from the workplace and he lawyered up immediately. I walked into our first hearing by myself and his big shot defense attorney absolutely wiped the floor with me. My restraining order was denied. So I searched and searched for my own legal counsel when I discovered Russell. He was the first person with any kind of power who actually treated me like a human being. The first person who didnt know me from Adam to show any empathy. In all reality, my case wasnt exactly in Russells wheelhouse yet because of my desperate need for help and many roadblocks I encountered, he offered to represent me anyway. He worked day in and day out researching other cases similar to mine and in the end he saved me from having to pay half of my assailants lawyers fees. Marisa is amazing! She is extremely intelligent and knows the law very very well. Besides being very intelligent, Marisa is very "human" and have compassion and understand the emotional distress and damage I went through with my unlawful termination case. She walked me through everything and didn't act like a cold attorney that only wanted money. She really cared about what happened and really made the stressful process much more bearable. Make no mistake, don't take her kindheartedness for weakness. Marisa was super TOUGH when it came to defending me and attacking the other side. I am so grateful that she was on my side of the table. Without her I really would not have proceeded with the case. It's stressful and Marisa understood that and really guided me well. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with everything. I hired an employment law firm and filed a lawsuit against a former employer for years of unpaid overtime. Marisa was the associate but became my primary contact. She was very knowledgeable about the law and always answered my emails promptly. She was there for my deposition and mediation. She was a lot of fun to be around. The last thing a business owner wants is to face problems with or even a lawsuit with employees. Because I have employees and hire outside contractors she was able to help me figure out the criteria need for each. Developing contracts that keep me out of trouble and making sure I know how to do it right with each person. Josh was referred to me by another attorney. Essentially my case revolved around a mid-2020 cancel culture event with my employer. This resulted in my wrongful termination along with Josh unpacking a number of other claims as we sifted through my almost four years of employment. My understanding was that the employer, over the years, had mistreated me. Josh knew the law and precedents that tied to the mistreatment. The list of claims was long. At its core, my case was about an employer that irrationally reacted to a troll site post on social media tied to a post from me. While the company had invited everyone to share ideas, because it declared it was open to receiving ideas, I posted a further sharing of conservative ideas. This did not suit the political views of the employer. Not only was I wrongfully terminated, but the employer also defamed me in the process. After almost a year of pre-trial litigation, Josh was able to secure a very good outcome that resulted in an excellent economic settlement and resolution of non-monetary issues. Josh cared about my non-monetary issues and not just the financial settlement. That meant a lot to me As a business executive for 25 years, I understood the unpredictable nature of litigation. Mr. Lipinsky, demonstrated excellent analytical skills and experience in the area of law for my particular problem. I was impressed at how quickly he was able to logically process the facts, apply specific experience and relevant labor laws to my particular problem. Faced with the daunting task of having just days to file before the statute of limitations ran out, I was impressed with how quickly he was able to make reasonable judgments and assumptions about my case and file such a compelling complaint and other documents before the deadline. Mr. Lipinsky applied his excellent interpersonal skills to develop a trusting relationship. It’s very difficult to trust others to look out for you specifically when you are going through a battle surrounded by distrust. He understood and conveyed to me the strengths and weakness of my case and worked directly with me to achieve positive results. He involved me in the creation of a resolution without placing his opinions above mine. He patiently educated me through how the litigation process works. He sincerely owned my problem, and encouraged a belief that he would do everything possible to help me succeed. He was willing to learn about my expected goals and outcomes, explaining what he would do for me. During mediation Mr. Lipinsky’s skill as a negotiator was remarkable. I was the victim of harassment at my place of work, based on my same sex relationship and my status as a gay male. I was taunted, called names, humiliated infront of co-workers by my supervisors and manager. When I told my H.R rep and district H.R they did nothing. The last straw was when my H.R and supervisor started telling the general workforce about my sexual status and if they've ever seen me in any lued acts. That's when I took legal acting against the company. Daren was recommend to me by a friend, so i looked him up and read his profile. I was looking for a lawyer who had experience in labor relations, sexual harassment and harassment based on sexual orientation and he fit the bill. From our first meeting, he made me feel comfortable discussing the full details of what was happening to me at work. He took notes and kept me composed during every meeting we had. He gave me realistic time frames for what was to come moving forward. Standing up to my harassers was not easy but Daren assured me that I was making things better for myself and others. Fast forward several months.... Litigation time. He prepared me about the environment we were about to enter. I was extremely nervous and excited at the same time. I wanted to tell the "Big Brown company" I have worked for and still do what they've done to me and how wrong they were to treat me and many others like me that way. So they had the TEAM of lawyers and the district H.R manger on one side and Daren and I on the other. Daren's words were sharp, clear and to the point. To make a long story short, we came to a very fare settlement. I did not loose any wages and still had my job which I've held for 17 yrs. In the end I left really good for what I've done and I owe it all to Daren, for taking my case, knowing the law and caring for peoples rights in today's society.

My wife and I went to Clower Law last week to complete our will. We wanted to make sure our kids were taken care of if anything should happen to us. The topic of death is awkward but Ashley from Clower Law made us feel very comfortable, we both felt at ease as soon as we sat down in her office. The feeling of comfort was important to us as we were able to discuss death candidly. We have a rather large family and I had a lot of questions so before our meeting I tried to do some research online and came up empty, I received muddled search results from forums of people who didn't know California laws. I hired Wilmer and his team to handle my employment case and we were able to push for a settlement 2 years after the first complaint filed. I was rejected by many many other attorneys at first since my profession is hard to understand by straight forward illustrations. Many other attorneys told me my case will be hard to be comprehended by jury if we go to trial. I went with another 5 star attorney at first and he dropped me after 1 st complaint filed. Before Stan, I had searched or talked to other lawyers and these lawyers kinda talked down to me and made me feel like my case was pointless without hearing my statement. They just assumed. Robert Wasserman is a wonderful lawyer, from the first phone call to the last he has never stopped caring and fighting for what was fair for me and my case. At times I would get frustrated (though not at Robert, also being pregnant didn’t help) because there was so much information that needed to be shared and discussed but unfortunately that’s just the process. Robby Robinson is a very capable, stand-up attorney. He represented me in a long, contentious employee arbitration suit, in which we prevailed. I was so beaten down and depressed from the complex wrongful termination from my work, that it was difficult for me to explain to James what happened to me. It is easy to dismiss a 'perfect' review, but my results were what I needed and not over the top in fees or drama. I employed Ms. Fruchtman to intervene on an employment issue that had be washed over by previous attorneys as too insignificant or politically charged in the non-profit sector. My concerns were taken to heart, letters written, conversations had, and in the end, that is what I wanted. I did not want to go to court or sue over a sexual harassment claim. I wanted to be heard and apologized to by the employer. I wanted the perpetrator fired. I wanted them to acknowledge that they were wrong and that I was still watching them to prevent future misdeeds. They were scared. They listened. I was heard. Finally, I was able to sleep again. The perpetrator was 'retired' and women will be safe at that location. I owe that to her calm and relentless professional pursuit of the truth. They listened. That's what I needed. No court, no drama, just a good result for everyone.

My wife and I first hired Kevan in 2014 to established our Will and Testament. We met with Kevan again at the end of 2020, to revisit our many life changes including the purchase of another property and having children. With the many changes in our life over the past 6 years, Kevan walked us through the entire process of not only updating our previous estate planning but also establishing a Revocable Trust, Advance Health Care Directive's, Certificate of Trust and Power of Attorney & Designation of Health Care Agent for Minor Children. Legal terms and the law is confusing to the both of us. Kevan was patient while explaining and helping us to understand our distribution of our personal property, transferring assets to our trust and updating our Beneficiary's on multiple different accounts & policies. Kevan is very intelligent and hard working. He was more than willing to meet with us not only around our work schedules but also around the crazy sleep schedules of our two young children. All of this being via zoom meetings because of the shelter in place during the COVID pandemic. I would recommend Kevan to any family member, friend or neighbor in need of his services.

We had to update our will and trust and Kevan was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and informed. For him it isn't just a "one off," either. He's committed to working with the family as circumstances change. It's a great comfort knowing we have someone we can trust to take care of all these legal and financial issues for us well into the future. He charges by the hour (many lawyers charge a flat fee), but he's so efficient that it ended up costing much less than what larger firms quoted us. Very, very highly recommended.
