Don't hire them. The charge $800 for a less than 5mins court that we didn't went inside . poor communication from your attorney and they charge for random stuffs and $40 per text that they dont response back at all. it was a waste of 10k . The attorneys don't guide you at all . The Nieves law firm is a waste of time and money . highly recommend going somewhere else.

I hired Gerald Maggio to represent me in a spousal support dispute in January of 2022. The process was a pointlessly lengthy one due to many obstructions caused by opposing counsel and my ex, but Mr. Maggio was a godsend throughout the entire process. As things dragged on for more than two years - a ridiculous amount of time for what this should have entailed - his encouragement and support throughout were invaluable.

I worked mostly with Juliet Peck, but also Cindy Negrete and Bernie Cerna (then a paralegal/legal assistant, but now an attorney). I felt that the entire firm, including Michael Lawrence, took a personal interest in my case. All the attorneys are well connected to the Monterey County legal community of other attorneys, judges, court clerks, experts, the Monterey County Bar Association, the Monterey College of Law and many others.
Juliet and her team worked very hard on my case. They took a personal interest in my case, which ran through the dreaded COVID time.

I was in a bad car accident four years ago. Unfortunately it put me in the trauma center when returning home from the hospital I felt lost and confused. I was on pain meds and I could hardly walk. I was afraid to drive and even get in a car I feared the fact that I would never be able to go back to work And had no idea where my future was going. Jerry did a magnificent job of defending my DUI case, which could have been MUCH worse without his assistance. I got arrested for my second DUI just short of ten years after my first offense, and my blood alcohol level was about 0.15—nearly double the legal limit of 0.08. This meant that I was facing added legal enhancements that usually require mandatory jail time. Jerry is a former Deputy District Attorney who has handled a wide range of legal cases, so he started attacking my case from several directions. He discovered, for example, that I was taking medications that can cause people to become dizzy and faint when consuming alcohol, a fact that would have enhanced my DUI symptoms. He also located an expert witness who estimated that my blood alcohol level was considerably less than 0.15, a fact that helped mitigate the worst enhancement. Jerry has many connections throughout the legal system, so he presented his collected evidence to the court. As a result, the second enhancement was dropped, and I pled “no contest” to a single charge as if it were my first DUI offense. I also paid a fine, served community service, and received unsupervised probation, but I served no jail time. Jerry came to my rescue in a big way, and he can come to your rescue as well.
