I hired Stephen to help me with a highly complex international custody case. His inherent knowledge of the law, both domestic and international, his awareness and sensitivity of the situation, helped to not only enlighten me, but also the opposing lawyer and most importantly, the judge. Stephen made sure the rights of the children were protected and put in effect. He is a great negotiator. Today, the children are better off because of him and the parents are talking to each other again. Without Stephen's skill set, our situation could've ended in a disaster. I was very fortunate to retain Claire Lightner to represent me in my Divorce a few years back. I must say she couldn't make me feel more secure and really handled my Divorce flawlessly. She was always available and accessible and I never felt like I could not reach her for any questions or concerns I may have had. Claire is very detailed oriented and was so prepared for every situation that was thrown at her. My Divorce was a very stressful situation for me but, she was aggressive and she proved that she was there to comfort me and make me feel at ease. I can't say enough how grateful I was for the excellent legal representation I received from Claire. Going through a divorce was one of the most stressful events in my life and I couldn't have been in better hands. She had to work with a very difficult petitioner who had a very challenging lawyer. I was so impressed with how she wouldn't to allow the legal expenses for useless actions brought on by the petitioner to get out of hand. She was excellent in the courtroom and always well prepared. She always made sure I understood what the legal actions I was facing and was well prepared on how to counsel me on my options. Her legal knowledge, care for her clients, professionalism, honesty and integrity are at the highest level. I highly recommend Claire for any family law needs.

First off, no one asked me or suggested I write a favorable review for my former Attorney Claire Lightner (pause to raise right hand and solemnly swear). This is just a small token of my appreciation for her taking on my train wrecked case, knowing that there would be no big pay out at the conclusion. The other reason I'm writing this review is for those conducting their due diligence in seeking a strong female divorce attorney who is scrupulous, smart, and a true advocate. (I went through 3 attorneys prior to finding Claire, two of which were women and neither one held a candle to Claire.) I know that's a big statement and I wouldn't say it if it weren't true - especially after the WAR I went through (4 years) in total. After my horrific experience with the painfully slow family court system, and attorneys (1 especially who represented me for 9 months who truly earned the rep that most attorneys are blood suckers), I felt folks should know that there is an attorney I would recommend and I'm sure other clients of Claire's would as well. My only regret is I found her so late in my case that much of it was not repairable. That said, she fought hard to right the ship as best as she could and I and my children will be forever grateful. Claire and her paralegal Dorothy work well as a team and are meticulous with details. Expect nothing but sheer professionalism, don't expect hand holding, a shoulder to cry on or therapy (not that they aren't sympathetic), they are, but they are not about wracking up billable hours - which is a good thing! They stick to facts and the law and present them in a clear and convincing way. Advice or consults are good as well - if you want to start there. I feel Claire is honest in her reaction in hearing the details of the case and also predicts an honest scenario of expectation too. Even if it's not best case for you or what you hoped to hear. Now that I think is the mark of TRUE professional with morals and values! In the more often than not ugly divorce business, I think that's really something. Good luck!

Don't hire them. The charge $800 for a less than 5mins court that we didn't went inside . poor communication from your attorney and they charge for random stuffs and $40 per text that they dont response back at all. it was a waste of 10k . The attorneys don't guide you at all . The Nieves law firm is a waste of time and money . highly recommend going somewhere else.

Having to contact an attorney because your loved one was neglected or abused was very difficult to process, however for our mother, it was the best decision we made. We got very lucky finding Adam at Peck Law Group. Adam took at look at our case and said let's do this, I got you guys. He was compassionate to our emotional struggles, yet did what he needed to do for us and our mom. He provided us with a successful outcome, which we know wasn't a walk in the park, but he made it feel like it was. I got a DUI and was referred to David Chesley by a colleague who also had a previous case. I must say I am satisfied by the results and it was cheaper than other law offices. Communication was key and I felt like I wasn’t alone in this case. When I got the DUI, I thought my consequences would have been the worst. David Chesley outlined his plan for me, which included what he felt would be realistic steps for us to take and how much time each step might require. He gave an honest promise that if everything else fails we could always go back to this point as it has worked out well so far! I am deeply disappointed with the services provided by Hoffman & Forde in San Diego. Despite scheduling an appointment, NICK KRITIKOS was rude, never called me, and seemed disinterested in my case. To make matters worse, I was charged $485 for absolutely no communication or progress. I never spoke to anyone on the phone and they still charged me. Taking time off work for the appointment only added to the frustration. I strongly advise against using this firm.

Finding Joni was a God send! Literally!! I heard her commercial on the radio and wrote her phone number down. A year later, when I decided I needed a lawyer, I couldn’t find her number so I prayed about it. The next day I got in my car driving home from work and her commercial came on the radio! I pulled over in my car and immediately called her and was able to speak with her. I made my appointment and met this wonderful, intelligent, compassionate woman who understood what I was going through, and what I needed to do. Joni not only helped me through the most desperate time in my life, but also became my friend. She was always there for me answering any of my questions, sometimes in the wee hours of the morning. I would describe Joni as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She looks so sweet but she is fierce and gets the job done!! I hired Mr. Bratton after being referred by my sister. She was very pleased with his services so I decided to set up a consultation with him. Bill was upfront with me from the very begging. I appreciated his honesty, understanding and his attentiveness to my concerns. He was very thorough in documenting every conversation and was quick to advise me on how to handle my ex. Being a father of three young daughters, I expected to fight an uphill battle with custody. Bill fought for me and got me what I deserved...50% custody!! He was there through my entire divorce process which included division of all assets, child custody, pension and retirements. Through the 2 1/2 year process, he made sure I was prepared for all court hearings and mediation, he returned all phone calls and emails in a timely manner and he made me feel that he sincerely cared about my case. I am a 47 old divorced dad with a 6-year-old lovely daughter. My ex-wife filed for a divorce about a year and a half ago claiming for full legal and physical custody over our daughter. We had been married for 17 years owning real estate and had my own business. I was just like anybody else panicked and I asked my friend to help to find the best attorney to representing me. I was told to call Bratton Razo Lord family law firm. Now my case is over and I could not be happier with the result. I unfortunately had to deal with the spouse who thought that because she is the mom so she can do and say anything. Besides that she accused me with almost anything just to win the case. Mr. Razo was a big relief since start.I felt so confident with him. He was always calm and focused. He always explained the situation and always had a plan to take care of the incoming attacks. When I was referred to Mr. Razo by a coworker, I was told he was fair, ethical, and thorough. I immediately found that to be true. Mr. Razo was honest with me the entire time. He always gave me expectations, but he also advised me of the reality and possible outcomes. Mr. Razo did not promise me anything but his full effort to help gain joint custody of my children. I had been divorced for 5 years and had partial custody of my two kids with my ex having primary custody. My Ex-wife moved our children over an hour away from me causing turmoil and hardship for the children. Over the years of fighting for more custody, I was bullied and pushed to back down by my ex’s lawyer. My job and schedule were constantly used against me since I worked 12 hours shifts. Mr. Razo assured me that fathers are equal and we can have equal time and custody of our children. Mr. Razo assisted me in having my ex move back to a central location where we can live in the same town, and I was awarded joint Legal and Physical Custody with the equal time share that I requested with no restrictions due to my work schedule. I could not be happier with Mr. Razo's work. He truly made it his goal to help me win the case, but did so in an ethical way that allowed my ex and I to maintain a good relationship.
