James defended me for a felony charge and was able to get it reduced to a disorderly conduct plea deal. He was patient, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the 6 month process and very responsive to both phone calls and texts. James has decades of experience with the Queens court system and it definitely shows. He thoroughly explain the court process every step of the way and let me know all my options throughout the ordeal.
I was referred to James by the New York State Bar Association and feel very lucky to have found him. If I ever need a criminal defense attorney again, I would go to James again without a doubt.

First, Julia responded Sunday morning to a message left after 10:00PM on a Satuday night. The specifics are a very long story, but we learned that my son's driving privileges were suspended in NY from an old ticket (by surprise) and he was unable to get to work until this was resolved. Public transportation was not an option. Julia was able to get this resolved in a timely manner for a reasonable cost, in fact the outcome was even better than we were asking for.
I am a recently retired IT Director and spent the last thirty years of my career working for Law Firms, and therefore know the business and on the basis of this experience highly recommend her for any work in her areas of practice. Also, her staff is very helpful and friendly.

We used Ms. Mecklosky for a drug related charge my teenager became involved with last year, and now for some driving misdemeanors I have been charged with. I found her to be accessible, easy to get in touch with, ready to answer questions and provide reassurance. Her demeanor in court is polite and respectful, intelligent and efficient...traits I believe any judge appreciates. These traits are imperative....you don't need an attorney who's arrogance is going to cause the judge, DA or worse yet, a jury, to be turned off...that doesn't help a defendant at all, in spite of what some may think.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ms. Mecklosky to anyone, and wouldn't even consider using another attorney!

My eviction moratorium questions were answered quickly with multiple examples of how and when tenant moratorium rules apply vs. when the landlord could change rates and create new lease contracts.
He was able to efficiently pinpoint the actions that were needed to restore tenant rights if they were violated. All of the consultation questions were answered in a very knowledgeable and concise manner.

you need an attorney who will really listen to you. Adam represented me and in our first meeting I said that I wanted to take the path of least resistance. He was willing to do that with me but advised me, along the way, of best and worst case scenarios. His background in social work allowed him an unusual understanding of the human element involved. This was essential when my (now) ex-husband began to press for more and more by way of settlement. There were any number of times when I had to balance various emotions and practical decisions. Adam was there with me fully. He also worked effectively with my husband's attorney, when he finally chose to get one. The result: I am divorced and I have retained my sanity!

I had a very frustrating, and potentially negatively life altering, experience with Ms. Ressler earlier this year. The error on her part cost my family time, frustration, and stress to myself and my children.
I was advised to file a temporary order of protection which involved making claims against family members. Unbeknownst to me, Jessica Ressler has a general modus operandi of being an extremely aggressive attorney, regardless of the situation. Her tactics involve getting her clients temporary orders of protection, involving the police, and using false statements. For those who are not aware, these tactics often negatively impact children. She treats every case the same, and her reputation in the industry is well known as being overly aggressive to the point of being detrimental to her clients and their cases. Further, her strategy unnecessarily involves child protective services who are legally obligated to investigate each case, and each parent, regardless of the accusations made.
Without going into significant personal detail, the filings I made under Ms. Ressler's guidance landed me in the cross hairs of CPS for no apparent reason. The result could have led to a permanent record, termination from my job, and an inability to be involved in some children's activities. When I pointed this out to Ms. Ressler, I was met with vague explanations and no real accountability, nor help to assist me from a legal standpoint. While initially she was attentive to my questions, once this occurred, her communication stopped instead of following up on ways to assist me, as though she signed off from my case. Ultimately, the CPS case was resolved without issue based on evidence provided by my family.
It should be noted that Ms. Ressler was recently formally admonished in court for her tactics and procedures. As previously stated, her reputation amongst attorneys in the NYC metro area is well known, and not well regarded.
I would not trust this lawyer with anything important and would highly caution others to do their due diligence before hiring her. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for legal counsel.

Beth is down right mean and harbors anger. None of what she does professional. She is sneaky and conniving. What she say and tells a child to do is not her place. Telling a minor wrong information and adding fuel to the fire instead if preserving the family. Do not hire her!

For 3 years I was repetitively failed by the court system and as most men are, I was viewed as a "failing father" in both custody and support for my daughter. I've never had anyone fight as hard for me as Kayla did. I never felt like I was "just another client" to her, she made everything personal and counseled me every step of the way. She and her colleagues were very helpful and attentive. They understand what it's like to work with abusive and controlling spouses/exes and cater responses accordingly - other lawyers treat them like "reasonable" people but they are anything but, and need to be dealt with differently.

I am currently a very unhappy client, communication with the firm is non-existence, unless I initiate it. Then any info I need can't be handled on spot. It takes 2 - 4 days to even find out balance held in escrow account. They want to settle debts over monthly payments so they can keep collecting the interest on funds. I stated on many occasions I wanted a lump sum settlement no payments. I get a very good settlement offer directly from creditor, I explain Tayne us handling it for me. Agent at Tayne informs creditor that settlement works, however we need to make monthly payments over ten months. This with Tayne currently holding well over 90% of settlement offer. This turns into a argument between myself and Tayne; me asking what my escrow balance, Mike stating it will take three days to get this info, all while I hear a female voice in back ground staying we don't have enough in house for that settlement. I'm $296.65 short. Instead of telling me this they keep pushing your buttons to upset you even further. Remember I previously stated I wanted no payments in this matter. Been paying this firm $85.00 weekly to get to this point. It's all about the interest they will earn on your money.
BEWARE
UPDATE: For anyone who is considering this firm attached are emails I received concerning my SETTLED account. Everything I stated in my review is 100% facts. Read other reviews which are very similar to mine. This firm is all about taking people's money, not sending out statements, unless you call and request. I believe monthly statements are required by Federal Law when there are financial transactions being done. Per Rosie at Global Soultions the terms you presented of $3200 over 10 months is unacceptable, especially when you already have over $2900.00 in the escrow. Good-Luck proving otherwise.
