Unfortunately dealing with an absolute mess with my health insurance after Matt Burkert overpaid a subrogation claim for health insurance claims that were not related to my car accident at all.
I have emailed and called with no response from Matt, and have spent hours with health insurance trying to get my money back. Matt's communication was spotty during the process of working through my personal injury claim, but when he didn't respond to my 3rd email, this time asking for a response within 24 hours or I would submit a claim to the NC Bar, I knew he was just ignoring me.
I was happy to get a settlement after the accident, but dealing with this issues has added so much unnecessary stress. It would have been easily avoided if Matt 1. had me review before paying subrogation and/or 2. reviewed the medial records he had from the accident.
There is not one part of me that wants to make a bad review but unfortunately Matt has absolutely ghosted me after making an error, and I think his future clients should know.

I was the victim of false sexual assault alligation(s). I came to Alex Marshal and I could tell right away he was going to fight for me and defend me with great attention to detail and care.
I was 100% honest with Mr. Marshall and he was the exact same way with me I felt. Charges were never initiated or pressed, and my case was closed.
If you are reading this and know you are truly innocent of the alligations brought apon you I highly recommend you "Lawyer up" and dont just think "It will go away". It wont. Spend the money to have peace of mind, a better understanding of the law to include charges you may possibly be facing and an actual fighting chance for charges to be dropped, case dismissed or what have you. It's not easy speaking to investigators and always remember that a lawyer will help guide you through the processes involved with such serious alligations.
Mr. Marshall in my opinion is the real deal and not just an attorney you pay money to who wants the case to be over as quick as possible and before you know it you felt you have not been represented very well.

I had a ticket that was at the point of being impossible to get taken care of. Everyone else I tried, pretty much told me that there was no help and it would be costly. I reached out to Mr. Gore and it was able to take care of the ticket with no point on license or insurance. He is amazing, and I am definitely recommending him if you have any issues. John Paul Tsahakis is the best lawyer in Charlotte. My marriage fell apart, my business was falling apart, my life was falling apart, and I was in a pretty bad place emotionally / financially. John Paul and his team were the only people I felt were on my side through the hardest transition of my life and gave me a voice when I felt like I didn't have one anymore. When we started out, my husband & I had a great deal of anxiety about trial. We were dealing with a very high conflict party & were worried about how much damage could be done to our son. Rebekah always gave solid advice & kept a cool head despite the many times we called her upset about the case. She was able to turn it on in the courtroom & was able to bring many of the aspects of the case to light that we were worried could be silenced. Because of Rebekah, we were able to take my stepson on vacation for the first time, take him to our church, have extended visitation & my husband’s parenting rights were restored. Clifford law firm was to represent my son in 2 counties both wake and sampson. He showed up once in wake none in sampson after being paid to be my son's rep. I would not hear from him nor my daughter in law would see him attend to business. The man mumbles and I could not understand most of what he was saying even though he was apprised I am hard of hearing. 20 months and nothing he said he would do was done. I even hesitate to give one star he deserves none.

I called the Asheville branch to ask about a free consult because I live outside of NC, but my recently deceased sister lived in NC.
Bonnie answered my call and I'm so sorry she did. I hung up feeling frustrated and disrespected. She was rude and not very helpful at all. Her attitude was quite condescending and very unprofessional. She should be able to ask strategic questions to gain an understanding of my needs, but instead she was curt, snooty and too busy trying to get me off the phone to be able to understand WHY I was calling. It was like pulling teeth, and I was getting no where with her, so I simply asked her name, thanked her, and hung up. She rattled off some title after her name, but at this point I had tuned her out, because it didn't matter who she was. I would NEVER do business with them and WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. I was able to find another attorney in NC, Kirschbaum, Nanney, Keenan & Griffin and they were awesome! They were kind, friendly and most of all professional. They asked the right questions to make sure they were the right 'type' of attorney I needed. They were truly the professionals I needed to talk to.
